For those who never played it, "Mother May I" was a game where several kids would line up opposite a single kid, who was designated the 'mother'.  Each kid would take a turn asking 'mother' what sort of step they could take towards him/her, such as, "Mother, may I take 2 giant steps?," or, "Mother, may I take 5 bunny hops?"  And the first kid to cover the distance from the starting line to the 'mother' won.

All was dependant on the 'mother', and what s/he would let each kid do.  So, I took the concept to a different area, the bedroom, and put in an actual mother and son.  I like the expression of anticipation in the fox's face as he asks if his mom will let him take that last 'step', and her expression as she grants him permission to couple with her :)
