Hello, steering committee tier! I want to do a few warmup sketches and I need some ideas. So, I put together a little list of irregular and plausible pairings between characters of mine. If you'd like to see any of these, feel free to vote for them. Vote for more than one thing if you like. Whatever you like to see.

Will it lead to anything more? I'm not sure. But at least one or two colored sketches will come from it, possibly more. If you need to know who any of these names are, please ask, thanks!

Something I drew up and decided to color it because I liked it. I still want to eventually do a story where Penny gets tired of Lynne's crap and just ruins her.

I sketched this out last night real fast. The original drawing was oriented vertically, so in tilting it, I created faded areas around the edges. Nonetheless, was a decent warmup.

Found some spare time laying around to do this one.

This is just a touch-base kind of post to let you all know how my schedule is going. I'm keeping the adult comic rewards the top priority project right now, so my other kinds of posts have dropped off. Earlier this month, we had some pet illnesses and later coming up, there are a few days when I'll only be able to get minimal work done, if any.

I still plan on having six new pages for "Force of Nature" for the $6+ tiers on the 5th of next month. Once my schedule kind of settles, I'll start back up on the remaining "Ask" questions I have from the last batch.

I should probably redesign Dixie some day. She's a bit dated.

Took the liberty to do some modernizing redesign for Beth's rarely mentioned sister. I think her name is Desdemona if I remember.

Carlos tried to sneakily slip in two questions at once. But you gotta get up pretty early to get one by me.

I suppose I could have had either one of them answer this, but I really just wanted to draw Elizabeth.

I asked the steering committee ($12) tier to ask my characters anything they like, once more. Hadn't done these since 2017. It's a good way to get warmup ideas. I'm only taking them in batches of 21, right now, and will ask for more when done.

Please don't take anything personally! I'm just being silly.

Ask is back to get the sketch juices flowing once more. It's open to the $12 tier and you can ask what you like of adult characters, for illustrated answers. Only doing 21 questions this time, first come first serve, so I can complete them and then maybe do another batch or so, time permitting.

Also, one other pre-requisite, try not to ask any questions that would ask me to spoil ongoing stories, like Brooke Goes To College, or Force of Nature.

Force of Nature continues on, and I find myself hoping I was able to depict things properly. I'm trying to convey Beth being surprised that she got something she wanted, without an overbearing narrative, but I'm probably going to have to end up adding something like that down the road in future pages anyway. Heavy handed narratives is something I've tried to get away from with recent work, and therefor trying to leave more up to showing and not telling. Let me know if it works.

I have no idea how Veronika and Hilde would ever canonically meet, but I wanted to draw this so here it is.

Got this done today. I wasn't able to get the shots I wanted for this particular sequence, plus include a sexy body-shot as is tradition for this webcomic. But nonetheless, here it is.

I got this done because it looks like hurricane Isaias isn't going to be as big a threat to my local area as originally thought. Otherwise, who knows when I could have finished it.

More Veronika sketches as warmups.

I asked the steering committee to pick an older character that isn't often drawn anymore, and Veronika the Russian Husky won handily. She was an old design and I really wanted to her modernize her, so it's fortunate. Here are the initial sketches I did up on a lazy Sunday.

Hello, Steering Committee. This month, I've assembled five characters that I think could use a little more material surrounding them. I picked them because they're all fairly interesting to me in one way or another, but they've not really been depicted very much. Some have just appeared once here and there, others have had one comic about them and then nothing else. Usually by drawing a character in warmups, or regular images, I end up coming up with more ideas for them and nailing down more specifics about their personalities.

So, you must let me know which of these rarely seen characters you are the most interested in seeing more of in upcoming images. From left to right:

Hilde the Doberman - Tall, top heavy, with slim, fit hips and long legs, Hilde the Doberman appeared in a few stand alone images with Aron, as well as the comic about the various women he sees called "Aron". Her personality is the most obscure to me right now, because she's only been drawn having sex or standing around. I just know she exercises a lot.

Penny the Mouse - Penny's the transgender woman who I only know is a jogging partner with Lynne sometimes. Lynne tends to overshadow her with aggression, so I don't quite know what she's like beyond that. Part of me is suspecting a barely repressed kind of horny aggression of her own, but still, she just looks small and unthreatening.

Brenda the Dog - Brenda is the chubby-butted dog woman who appeared in "Aron" as the one who prefers anal sex. I don't have much down about the kind of person she is beyond that, but any pictures will probably be butt centric.

Veronika the Husky - Veronika appeared in one comic as a honey pot that backfired and was used by Fisk. She's a strong female character, and in the past I've toyed with the idea that she prefers to be in lesbian relationships, but she maintains a strong physical attraction towards powerful men. She's a Russian operative. Her design is old, and she may be due for a few modernizing re-design tweaks.

Dixie the Spaniel - Dixie's from the Lumpkinville universe, and she appeared in one comic where she engaged in submissive pet-play with Mary Ann's brother, and then switching to a dominant role when calling over an anthro German Shepard lover. She's a bit of an extreme context switch. She's also an old design and I haven't done much with her, because she does look a bit like Trixie (the similar spellings don't help either), so she may be due for a redesign as well.

Did some sketching of this on the weekend and put some color on it once I was able to unfuck my tablet drivers.

I may have made Mary too dark but ehhhhhhhhhh.....

Jumped the gun on my warning, but after several hours of messing, I learned I had to... somehow delete the driver from the permissions settings (because it wouldn't let me uncheck it) then reinstall it to the permissions list, then uncheck its permissions, then log out, then log in, then recheck the permissions.

Then it worked. Why didn't I think of that sooner the fix was so obvious...

Because computer engineers are twisted souls.

New Audrey-Mary colored sketch tomorrow.

With all the new updates to everything, my Wacom drivers became fucked today. They were acting strange already but today they're acting like they don't have security permissions, when they do. They've been wiped clean and reinstalled as the latest drivers, and given all appropriate permissions indicated by the error window, but the error window persists every time the pen tries to indicate a "click" on screen, in any program, or tries to make a brush stroke in photoshop.

I'll search out advanced help over the next few days and keep trying things, but for now, I'm going to drink.

I had a good Audrey and Mary sketch lined up for finishing, too.

Force Of Nature proceeds and I like how it's coming out. Last month was pretty productive, and I'm glad I was able to get out as many Brooke Goes To College pages as I did, as well. I've attached two .zip files to this entry which have all of part 1, and all of part 2 so far in progress, for anyone new to the comic tier who wants to catch up.

For those curious, this started out as a quick and silly webcomic I was doing of Brooke in my spare time, which has become a slightly more serious kind of story regarding her life. I also try to put a sexy butt themed piece, a nude, or sex on every page.

A lot has gone on and I hope everyone is safe. Work has kept up here, as I live in a very stable and secure area. Otherwise, my web hosting decided it didn't want me to store .zip files on my site for comic back issues to be easily downloaded from. So, I'm going to find a way to host them here in the meantime, later on today. Probably as file attachments... I kind of want to see if I can forgo having to use any kind of file hosting all together, but who knows. Otherwise, I'll look into it.

Something I found the time to work on in between getting the comic update ready for the 5th. I'll be coloring this in time.

This was mainly drawn free hand, so I'm sure there are perspective and balance issues. I can't take credit for this perspective idea. I saw a manga artist do a "answering the door" perspective on a character of theirs, once, and decided to try my hand at it.

I polled the Steering Committee for some themes I should work with for pictures this month, and "bottomless" came out on top. Trying to draw puffy clothes like hoodies and coats as they naturally lay, without giving in to the instinct to have them conform more to the body than they really do.

Gonna be coloring this one up for the SFW Patreon later on. Some day it'd be nice to focus on this as a main project and put it out like a serious manga or something. But time permitting.

The next six pages of "Online" are done and available right here. This comic is coming along, and I'm realizing I could probably make this one a lot longer than it needs to be. So maybe I'll just keep going? Unsure. I was thinking of also having most of it done before May. We'll see how things play out. But I'm liking how most of the pages are looking.

I'm going to soon start a set of pictures and I need you, the Steering Committee, to help me choose the themes. These are a little more eccentric in their focus, perhaps, but that's the idea. It's not specifically about a single character or fetish, but other traits that sometimes bubble up as ideas for nice pictures. Things I've kind of not done as much of lately, perhaps, but want to possibly use to generate warmups.

Word is flying around from some creators about a new and entirely subjective policy being enforced, primarily targeting Anime style artists for giving their characters neotanous features, like big eyes and big heads. Some artists have already had their accounts forced to remove any depiction of a character that could be interpreted as possibly under 18, based on looks alone. Any character with a thin build, or large eyes could conceivably be targeted by this subjective policy, regardless of how many stories you've written about them being adults.

I've not seen the specific art that Patreon came down on when this was brought up. Was it exceptionally chibi? I don't know. But it does mean they could interpret a style as against their ever morphing policies.

In the past several years I've been pulling my style toward more ordinary proportions. I used to draw heads much larger than they would normally be on people, as a way of style, in my older work. I try not to anymore. But it does mean some characters who are specifically short and thin, like Beth or Penelope, could be subject to scrutiny, despite being written as adults who lead adult lives in stories. The subjective nature of this is what is the most aggravating. Sissy's in her forties and has a curvy body, but if I draw her eyes too big, according to the Orwellian-esque named Trust & Safety Committee... the pic has to go?

Things like this make Patreon an unstable place to do any kind of creative adult work. When wondering why this would now be a thing when it was fine for all the years Patreon has been around, it makes me wonder if they're not cleaning the site of anything subjectively "iffy" as a prelude to selling the company. This possibility instills further instability, which can't be mollified by any of the CEO's tear-filled assurances about supporting creators.

I put aside some time to do a few pencils this morning, despite being busy. I'll be coloring this up as I have the time.

I feel bad whenever I don't post something and keep you up to date, so here it goes. My time has been pretty much keeping the main adult comic project up to schedule. It's been exacerbated by this month piling on more chores that don't have to do with work, but such is the way!

I hate that February is so short. It sucks because I have so many more ideas for other things I want to draw. I suppose March will feature me belting more out, like a dam burst.

I'm doing two updates this month, after figuring out how I wanted to do it on update dates with split comics, where I finished one and started another in the same month. So, this entry will be all of "Enemy" completed, and afterwards, I'll do the update with the first pages of "Online" and this update will include the back issue list you're used to.

Serena was the runner up for the steering committee poll on who to warm up with. Since the voting was so close, I decided to do a few sketches of her and color them up as well.

I worked a little late last night drawing this kind of as an apology to Ty for drawing him like such shit in my last drawing. I also took the time to tweak his design again.

I almost rarely draw masculine men with the same attempt to make them looks as posed and thought out about coming off casually sexy, as I do my female characters. It's kind of a weak spot in my work, so this was a good bit of practice putting in the time for it.

Beth's second warmup. Working to draw more "kinetic" sex. Ty's face here is complete trash. I think I drew his body too long and his face is more puffy than it should be. I should sharpen and chisel it up a bit, but this was a quick sketch I colored. I should probably give him a character sheet at some time.

I started on "Online over the weekend and I thought I'd also preview the first page for everyone. Coming up on the 5th of February, for the $6+ comic tiers, I'll be posting two comic update entries, one for the entire completed "Enemies" comic and the other for the pages I've so far completed for "Online". Really enjoying drawing Sissy again. I decided to use a brighter color scheme for this one, to make it pop a little more. I realize sometimes my colors can be on the pastel side of things, and I think it's my overall fear of color in general and my monochromatic eye.

Anyway, I also noticed that on the website view of Patreon, they no longer show full image previews. They just crop out the top and bottom to show the very center of the image. I'm not sure why they do this, but you have to now click on it to see the full thing. Maybe they'll change it back if enough artists fuss at them. Oh well.

When I asked the steering committee to supply warmup character choices, Beth won out in the poll. It's almost unfair, and I probably shouldn't include her in those things, since she's so liked. But anyway...

Other runners up were Serena, the blue haired lioness, and surprisingly in third place was Penelope. Since the voting for these three was so close, I'm probably going to also do a few images of them as well, to help warm up my day next week.

Now THIS image was neat. I basically took my least favorite camera angle/sex position in adult work and tried to think of a way to make it more interesting and hot for me. And I settled on scrotum lifting. Enjoy.

Hello, Steering Committee! I decided to re-up this poll after it was up for... a second... to include an image of the characters in question, so you can have a better idea of who is what, especially with some of the characters who haven't made as much of an appearance.

So, in the upcoming days I'll be doing warmup colored sketches, and I need you to help me decide who to be the central subject of these sketches. I'm excluding Sissy because she has a comic coming up. I may do a male list after I'm done with this next string of warmups, which could be interesting.

Lots to cover! "Enemy" is up to 22 pages now, and it's almost done. I have one less page done than I wanted for today, but that's due to the holidays. Enemy should be finished this month and the new comic will be started immediately. So for February's update, you'll see this comic in total, plus the new pages of the new comic. The Steering Committee has voted for "Online" (the sequel to Offline) being the next comic, so things should get a little more light hearted.

Later on, today, I'll be uploading an archive of my single pictures and sketches from all of 2019, for all who want to keep up with their collections. I'm also planning to work on a drawing today that will reacquaint my drawing hand with Sissy and Marley.

Back issue list is unchanged for this month. Next month will include "Normal Perverts" since that comic will then be a year old. Also in February's update, all of 2018 will be compiled into a single .zip.

After a while of not putting pencil to paper, I reacquainted my drawing muscles with something simple. And now it's time to dive right back in to work.

2020 is here and work resumes at a full clip. Let’s make this year even better than the last! This sketch will become this year’s first little post as I get back into the drawing swing after holidays.

Hello, Steering Committee! It's time to vote on what project I'm going to work on as my main color comic after the first part of "Enemy" is finished. I thought I'd finish it before the end of December, but I really want to add another bit of scening to finish it out and set up the next bit, so it's going to take some time in January to finish.

So, you get to vote on what I work on next. Whatever you choose, the initial pages will be included in the February 5th 2020 update, along with all of Enemy part 1, in its totality.

Online - A follow up comic to "Offline". This time Marley has his internet back, but Sissy isn't ready to end the bit of fun they were having. She jumps through sexual hoops trying to compete with and lure him away from his unrepentant pornography addiction. The overall theme would be sexually comedic and fun, just like its predecessor.

Taken (working title) - Beth becomes exposed to, and involved in, Trixie and Ty's open relationship in a way neither one of them expect. An open relationship steers into love triangle territory with feelings and repercussions that none of the people involved could see coming. This comic will feature significant developmental changes for Beth, Trixie, (and possibly Aron), with a real introduction of Ty as a comic character.

Enemy part 2 - Another option is to dive right in to the second part of the "Enemy" story and continue things. The second part I have planned has a significant level of fantasy violence in some sections, but it's necessary to the story and the implied world building. It'll also continue the erotic parts, and tie up the conflicts from the first part for our protagonists.

Mistress Theressa - It was requested that I add this to the list of polling options once more, so I'm doing it. Continuing the pages of Theressa's journal, where she sexually catalogues the nature of the fantasy world's races and monsters. It's a big project and will probably take a while to do if left to my spare time. :3

I'm allowing more than one vote per person, so go nuts. Give me a good idea of what you love.

Touching base with everyone. Here is all that is going on.

Basic Tiers- I haven't had the same free time to do individual pictures this year as I did last year, where I polled my steering committee tier for more ideas and ended up doing pictures series, often. I'm ensuring there are at least some images each month, still. I hate to blame life things, like buying a house and needing to finish it, but it's taken up a bit of my time and money. I anticipate things settling back to a normal schedule early next year. Until then, thank you for understanding!

Comic Tiers - For the comic tiers, work on "Enemy" continues and it's one of my favorites. I'm enjoying the work I'm putting into the pages and I may have lied about wrapping it up in December. There's an extra bit of scening I want to use to close out the chapter and it's going to take some work into January to do it. But, when it's done it's something I'm going to be happy with, and I hope you will be too.

I'll be hitting the ground running with more Brooke Goes To College next year. I have a bunch of the story and pages already planned out, I just have to sit down and do them when I can. Hopefully, even with the Cottonwine "Enemy" story getting the main attention, people who prefer the Original Life universe can still enjoy this one.

Steering Committee - There's a poll coming up after this to determine which comic project I'll be doing when I finish up "Enemy" early in January. Be sure to vote in the next several days if you want to have a say in where I go next for my main color comics.

As I told the standard tier, I hope to get you more involved in the picture series and sketches I do next year, as I didn't have the time to put into as many in 2019 as I did in 2018, and they were a lot of fun.

Some warmup sketching I did this morning, and I'll probably add some colors to, later. I've been hammering away on the "Enemies" comic and trying to balance life things at the same time. The pages are looking great, but they sometimes take me a while. I think I may only have five new pages to display on the 5th this month instead of the usual 6. But I'm definitely going to have this comic done during December.

It's the time of year where things get nutty, but rest assured I'm still working. I'll try to not let lots of time go by without at least sharing something or talking.

Something quickly drawn that I put colors on to warm up with. I guess it's not a bad accompaniment to the current Original Life +5 plot arc going on over at the SFW Patreon.

Sketched and colored this quickly today, as a bit of atmosphere and development. There are some things kind of "off" about it to my eye. I may revisit it later in a more finished image, but this is just quick proof of concept.

"Enemy" proceeds on pace. The pages get complicated and sometimes take me a lot more time to finish, especially when I include painted wolf tribals and everything. But everything here is definitely show-don't-tell. So, I really had to tell a story with this one, and show why Rayka couldn't just go home. If you reaaaallly just care about all the graphic sex and breeding, you'll want to be around for December's comic rewards. But I promised myself I wouldn't cut corners with this comic.

Found the time to finish this up this morning.

Did manage to carve out some time to do this. I'll color it as I get a chance.

This particular comic is taking up a lot more time because I'm working through details (not in the exhibited frames here, but in others), so the coloring takes a few more calorie hours. Still, I like how it's coming. But I realized I've only had a couple of sketch uploads since my last comic update, despite all the things I've wanted to set aside time for. I kind of envy those artists who just work on one thing at a time.

This is the kind of comic where I'm not cutting out moments, because I really want to showcase the world, and the entire comic is show and not tell. This particular story is probably going to be well into the mid twenties on page count, possibly higher.

I think I once drew Brooke in this exact same pose. Oh well, it's a good one. Someone in the steering committee mentioned wanting to see Lucy again, so I decided to draw her up as a warmup, this morning.

I'm taking my time on this one, so I hope you can indulge me if you're just waiting on the sex to start. It will. There's a lot less text and dialog in this comic, and I'm just letting the story tell itself mostly with visuals.

Doing a few design tweaks of Ty, as I want to kind of make him a more substantial character beyond his (very) few appearances as one of Trixie's lovers. I gave him a haircut and modified some of his coloring.

I also put him on top of Beth.

Since I haven't done a new Brooke page in a while, and we have quite a few more patrons now, I thought I'd do some recaps of the everything up to this point, using the spiffy new gallery system.

For those not in the know, this is a comic I do with a casual pace, to add development to Brooke in my spare time. It started out as something whimsical, an experimental webcomic designed to put something sexy (and largely butt oriented) on every page, and it eventually evolved into something more serious, and spun off some extra characters, like Kaori and Alicia.

I'm posting this part 1 recap. Then I'm going to post the part 2 recap up to this point, and then post the new page.

The comic tentatively titled "Enemy" has started, and I'm pouring most of my time into it. Putting some extra details where I can and trying to get a more serious flavor into the Cottonwine world in the process. I'm also taking the time to let the story segments play out how they appear in my mind, which is sort of like a movie, initially. I kind of want this one to be a little bit "next level" for me.

The comic is about a human man and an tribal anthro wolf female together. It's something I've been curious about but didn't want to try to do until I had a little tale in mind that justified it. There are a lot of ideas that I think about and that people ask for, but until I can think of a good way to present it, I tend to hold off.

The plant he's harvesting isn't a source of cottonwine. The drug doesn't make an appearance in this story at all. That's just some winter plant, maybe for medicine.

I've also started the next Brooke In College page for the comic tier ($6+). That's a story that badly needs to be resumed.

I drew this up last night and put colors on it this morning for the heck of it.

I'm using the Patreon gallery function for this update. Hopefully, it makes the comic updates more easy to digest for those with phones and tablets. We'll see how this goes. I also included the .zip file in case people wanted the images on their PC without size reduction.

I liked working on this comic a lot.

So, I’m in Orlando and waiting for the slowest storm in the world to finally blow through. I should have just stayed home and continued work. I’ll let you know when I get back to the office but I’m pretty sure the comic update for the 5th will be delayed.

Hurricane Dorian is heading for me and I'm ready for it. But it means that my work may be somewhat delayed. Unsure how long internet and power will be an issue after it. It's hard to tell exactly where it will land but it's so big, it'll probably affect most of Florida.

I'll keep you up to date as best I can. If my update for the 5th of September is late, you'll probably know why!

Hello, steering committee! I'm almost done with "Rekindled" and I plan to have it done by the next comic update. However, there's a hurricane heading toward my state and well, that's another matter.

Normally I'd be asking you to vote in a poll for what comic I'm to do next. But as I was compiling the list, I kept hoping one would win. Normally I don't mind which one wins, because I don't let you vote on something I wouldn't want to do. But in this case, I really wanted one to win, so I'm going to make the decision to go along with it as my next project.

There'll be many more things to vote on, like sketch series and such afterwards.

I'm going to go ahead and do a comic idea that I really want to try, about a human dude and a wolf woman in the Cottonwine world. I don't want to spoil a lot about it, so I won't talk about it much. But I thought I'd let you know why there's no poll, and what's happening next.

I'll probably have a hurricane-themed announcement when we hopefully know a little more about what jerk Dorian is doing.

Some speculation and questions were happening about the meanings behind some of these common markings, so I made a little info-dump to cover some of these and give more flavor of the Cottonwine universe.

Bear in mind, I drew all my past comics without any real definitions in mind, so please don't go through all my old stuff and pick out characters with similar markings and ask me questions about why they're like this and not like that. It's difficult to go back and try to build consistent meaning on things that were created before there was any. :3

The top performers are those who broke over 50 votes:

Taboo Relationships coming in with the most at 80. Character Development next with 64. Human Male/Anthro Female is interesting at 58. Straight Sex at 57. Human Female/Anthro Male strong at 56. Fertility focus has 54 votes.

I've only ever done one story before with a human male having sex with an anthro female, so it was interesting to me that people are pretty into seeing more of that. I actually have a small Cottonwine story germinating with that theme, but like most things Cottonwine, it has a serious streak to it. Cottonwine stories have never performed very well when offered as polling choices for the next comic project, so we'll see how that goes.

Things that got the least votes are those that didn't break 30:

Transexual Characters at 25. Domination Focus at 26. Nudism Themes at 28. And Sexual Rapaciousness at 28.

Most of these are no surprise. I imagine because a lot of these are neither here nor there as a story's primary focus. Transexuality is probably incidental to what a lot of people think about a character, Nudism sounds tame as a focus, and the other two seem equally incidental to much more important themes.

I did another sketch of Rayka to color up. It's been a while since I've drawn a wolf in tribal paint, so I wanted to see how it came out.

I quick bit of sketching I did last night and colored it this morning. I named her Rayka for no particular reason.

I'm hitting you guys up for yet more feedback. I'm going to leave this one up for a few days. There are a lot of thematic directions I can choose to go in over the next few projects, and I wanted to get some feedback as to their various popularities from the steering committee. Make sure what you like or want counts! It's important to vote on all the ones you like because they aren't necessarily mutually exclusive. I'm probably going to do a more character/species specific focus poll later. So be ready to vote a lot!

Describing the choices below:

1. Character Development Focus - Things similar to what Brooke is going through in her college comic. Character growth and development in a sexual context. Usually semi-serious or at least stories with some gravity and consequences to a character's life.

2. Silly Comedic - Things similar to comic "Offline", which are designed to be somewhat funny even if they touch on real issues.

3. Nudity/Nudism - A focus on doing public every day things while naked.

4. Taboo Relationships - Focus on relationships are that socially outside the norm and possibly frowned upon. Examples would be Brooke's age difference fetish, mismatched characters by lifestyle or class.

5. Adultery Focus - Cheating or cuckoldry. This may exist in any other story, such as with Sissy, but this indicates a particular focus on this aspect.

6. Sexual Rapaciousness - Sexual acting out, usually a woman with a high drive and a lot of partners, whether anonymous or otherwise. Characters similar to Lynne or Rachel.

7. Human Female/Anthro Male - Sex between human women and anthro males.

8. Human Male/Anthro Female - Sex between human men and anthro females.

9. Feminine Men/Bisexual Men - Focusing on characters such as Mike and Flounce, and their general girlish nature.

10. Transexual Characters - Focusing on a character like Audrey.

11. Fertility Focus - A deliberate focus on either pregnancy risk or fertilization.

12. Lesbian Focus - A focus on lesbian relationships in particular, whether the characters are lesbians or bisexual, such as Beth and Trixie, or Alicia and Brooke.

13. Domination Focus - A focus on BDSM, ownership, domination and service. Characters like Kaori and Priscilla.

14. Tribal Settings - Tribal settings, such as those in Cottonwine.

15. Straight Focus - Sex between males and females.

The steering committee elected to have Trixie have a lewd dream about Aron. I suppose this could lead to some uncomfortable tension later.

Well, you sure are surprising. Let's see how this turns out.

Alas. So close.

It's time to select a character that has an unrequited crush on Serena. For those who don't quite know, unrequited means she doesn't like them back in the same way. This is to set up future writing options for sketches series' and whatnot.

Back in 2017 I let the Steering Committee Tier ($12+) create a character named Serena, who turned out to this lioness with blue hair. Like so much else, the idea I had in mind for her was overly complicated and I eventually didn't go anywhere with it due to time and inspiration considerations.

I've thought about having her for a series of warmup sketches and asking the steering committee to elect certain specifics. I'll probably start them this weekend.

This started out as a little thing and turned into a bigger thing. I'll be still making adjustments to it and coloring it as I have the time.

Did this as a warmup to preclude today's work, then I colored it.

Whew! Comic rewards are coming along for this month. First of all, Switches is now complete, and I hope you like the first comic appearance of Charles' sister, Claire, as brief as it may be. I decided to make her a female weight lifter, since she's pretty stout.

I've also started on Rekindled, the comic I promised to work on next, based on the last polling I did for the steering committee tier.

Well, I'm all moved in. I have five new pages in "Switches" to update with. After some consideration, and for the longevity of brand, I've decided, after some helpful feedback, that I won't create an internet name to use for my artwork. I appreciate all the suggestions and feedback, and as always, you all are the best. <3

It's been a while since I've kept in touch here, and there are a few things to cover as just a general "touching base" (whatever that means).

- "Switches" will be updated on the 5th of the month as usual, for the $6+ comic tiers. The entire comic will be completed during May as it only has a few more pages to go after this update. And the very end will see the debut of Charles' sister Claire.

- Production is pretty much back on regular schedule, so expect to see more single pieces, more comics, the resuming of the Brooke Goes To College story, along with the occasional YCH and such.

- Once "Switches" is done, I'm very probably going to devise an internet artist name. It's probably not that big a deal, and it hasn't been, but I started drawing stuff way back before the internet was huge, and every artist I was initially exposed to was using their real name. So, that's what I did. I know it may not change things colloquially, but I at least want to change things and come up with an internet artist name which isn't my real name. This means changing the name here, and on DA, and such, and it'll probably change the URL to my Patreon. I'll have to reflect that on the signature of all future pieces, and it may necessitate the updating of bookmarks.

However, I will need to devise an internet name. And if you have any suggestions, feel free to share them in the comments below.

When I initiate this change I'll probably let you know about a dozen times so you won't be caught off guard.

Thank you all for being patient while I've been moving over the course of weeks, and then working to try to catch back up by prioritizing my comic projects!

Found the time this morning to wrap this up, before moving on to draw comics forever!

I did find the time to warm up with this today. I'll color it later when there's more time.

I started back in on "Switches" today, and it's going to be my priority focus for the rest of April. There will be less work done on extra pictures and sketches, so I can make sure I produce an acceptable number of comic pages before the end of the month.

The last YCH commission for a bit! I'll keep everyone updated as I focus on my move!

This cutesy quicky of Alicia heralds my post about April's work schedule.

So, at the ripe, spry age of 41, I'm buying a house, finally, and closing on it Monday. I'm going to be very busy next week getting lots of things set up, appliances acquired, things moved over, and organized. This is going to bite into my production time quite inevitably, and I'm going to be dependent on the schedules of others for utilities like the internet.

Once I'm there, I'm there, finally. I don't plan on moving again for a very long time. I'll have permanence.

I'm going to prioritize work on the adult comic "Switches" when I can find the time to work on it, and when I get my studio set up in the new spot. This means that there'll probably be far fewer extra images on the side, or pages for Brooke Goes to College, on my adult blog. When I get the studio up, I will probably make sure I do an Original Life page for the SFW blog since it's been neglected the last couple of weeks.

I have one more NSFW commission that I took as a YCH to complete this weekend, then it's full time moving until things get set back up.

A redesign of an old character named Penelope, for some particular reason or another. For those who may not remember, she appeared last in the comic "Lynne" in 2014 as kind of an extra and Genwyn's friend. She had older sketches of her that appeared even further back, as well.

Found the time to get her down a little more.

I have only the first five pages of "Switches" ready because of the very short month, the travel I did, and an illness I had. But still! I'm surprised I managed to do as much in February as I did. Spent last night sketching a possible design for Charles' sister. I'm open to name suggestions.

Fiddling around with a fuzzy texture. I may decide to use something like this in the future, a little more sparingly than I used it here, as I was practicing. We'll see.

Something quick and simple I did with the intent of, later, experimenting with some textures and such to perhaps develop a more elaborate color method. If I'm successful, you'll see it. If I'm not, I'll burn the studio, collect insurance, flee to Mexico, and no one will ever know of my failure.

Wrapped this up for some spare time weekend work. Was fun. :3

An early look at a more submissive and girly Charles. These are some sketches I did last night and put some finishing on them this morning.

According to the Steering Committee Tier's voting, this twisted triangle is going to be getting another comic story and another evolution in their character dynamic, with Genwyn starting to take matters into his own hands.

This was a sketch I did in front of the television a few days ago and colored it up, today.

When I included "Switches" in the list, I remarked to my girlfriend that I didn't expect it to win because it mostly involved two feminine guys. Then I realized that it includes red pandas, which are the most time consuming characters to color, so it'll probably win anyway.

I'm probably going to forgo a comic poll next time and just go ahead and do the Michael story right after Switches, since I kind of expected it to win this time, and I want to advance the two characters that it's about.

"Normal Perverts" is coming to a close soon and it's time to give me direction. Put on your decision making boots and make a choice about which comic(s) you'd most prefer to see done next. I've decided to go back and look at a lot of the older polls to keep up with a lot of the ideas that have come and gone, and see how things have performed. I decided to make a bigger than normal list, finding a lot of things I wouldn't mind working on next, as a main focus. Because of the number, I'm going to allow you to vote on more than one entry, and give me a general sense of not only a winner, but where side-projects might focus. Without further delay:

A New Michael - Kind of a working title. A more expounded upon plot for when Michael and Samantha meet up again and fall into lust, and make babies, covered in a cursory way in previous pictures and sketches. Samantha will be dodging the watchful scrutiny of Priscilla and her favored males, while carrying on with Mike. Themes of sneaking around, breeding.

The Bet - Back from a prior poll. Mary bets Audrey she can't go two weeks without cumming. Audrey gives it her best, but between Mary and Aron, she's very tempted to lose. Can she hold out? Teasing kinks, chastity, anal sex, oral sex, lesbians. Erotic comedy.

Switches - Another working title. Following the convoluted threeway taboo dynamic between Charles, Lynne, and Genwyn. This story will find Genwyn becoming more assertive and doing to Charles what Charles did to Lynne, in a cute switch. This will have themes of crossdressing, taboo, and funny moments, with bisexual femmy guys.

Mistress Theressa's Guide To Carnal Erotica - If chosen, I'll focus on doing this compendium from the cottonwine universe until it's complete. For those who may not remember, this is a book being put together by a character from the cottonwine universe, a woman, who travels the world and writes about what it's like to have sex with different races and monsters in the realm - some safe, some dangerous. It has illustrated pages with text.

The Mission part 2 - The continuation of the first chapter of the mission, depicting the equine fertility rituals amid the attempt to enlighten. Like the first chapter, this will be in black and white with the goal of producing more pages than normal, and to maintain consistency.

Two Sides of a Coin - A project about Sissy, with a Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde theme. Whew! The holidays were quite busy, but the comic rewards chug along on schedule. I always think I have a grip on how much I can do, and then social obligations often torpedo my expectations. This showed up mostly in the side-drawings I didn't get done for December. I realized since moving to 11x17 pages and increasing the page numbers per comic, it takes me a bit longer to do any one particular project. But I think the finished project is worth it.

This poll is for both of the comic level tiers ($6+) and not just the steering committee, because it pertains to both. I remember wondering about this in the past, but I don't remember ever talking about it publicly. What I'd like you to decide on is:

Bulk Comic Updates - What I've been doing since I started Patreon, updating with every page I've completed over the month, archiving them into a .zip file and attaching them to a post here, on the 5th of every month. If this method wins, nothing changes and we chug on as usual.

The advantage to this is getting a lot at once and having the pages form more of a context with each other since they can be viewed together. The disadvantage is that it takes a month between updates, and .zip files aren't always convenient for those viewing on phones.

As-Finished Page Updates - Posting each page as an entry as I complete it, or possibly two pages at a time as I finish them, letting people use the comic name as a search tag to go back and pick up older pages. This method will also include uploading a .zip of the entire comic so far, along with the back issue list you're used to seeing with every comic update, on the 5th of every month. This is so you can easily keep up to date if you're new.

The advantage of this is it's more friendly to people viewing on phones and such, and it allows for commentary feedback specifically per page. The disadvantage is getting the color adult comic as a slow drip instead of in readable chunks, which can create lots of commentary wonderment, spoiling, and idle speculation.

Whichever wins, it will not change the posting of a back issue list on the 5th of every month for new subscribers to make sure they're up to date.

So, please vote on whichever you'd prefer, and I'll work with the results. Thank you!

Things are rolling good. I'm like how the pages to "Normal Perverts" are coming out. They look pretty good to me, and it's one of those projects I'm enjoying a touch more than usual. The last project was like that, so I've been working extra happy for some time. I DO want to start on the next chapter of "Brooke Goes To College" soon, to help coincide with this adult feature.

Attached, you'll find the .zip file containing the first 9 pages of "Normal Perverts". It's starting out largely sex geared, and later will hint at some character building aspects, where they wonder why they are so aroused by certain concepts and contexts.

Sketched this real quick last night and colored it today. I should make better strides to keep Beth's genitals on model.

The balance is a little askew, and the foreshortening might be a little too dramatic.

I had some sketches of what I imagine red pandas looked like in the Cottonwine world. More silly than anything, but silly is all right.

Got newer, better screen capture software on my new computer, so you get to hear more of my echoey studio, my crappy audio, and my old man complainy voice, where I go "uhm" and "tsk" a lot.

It's been a while since I did anything big like this. I want to practice doing a softer gradient on my shading when I dig into this, and right now I'm not sure how easy that will be with my new photoshop setup. We'll see. But I'll be working on this in the spare time.

What a month. Between computer issues and vacations I was only able to get done five pages instead of my usual six full new pages. Really that has more to do with the computer than anything. Offline is complete at 21 pages, and you can find the .zip to the comic attached here. You'll also find the .zip containing the first three pages of Normal Perverts attached. The last two pages of Offline, and the first page of Normal Perverts are of lower quality because I didn't have them backed up yet when my computer bit the dust. It was either go back and do them again, and upload even fewer new pages, or go ahead, and I decided to go ahead. Part of me is still tempted to go back and redo those pages.

Did this as a general update because I'm working at the same time and it's faster to do these this way. Just a video from my phone propped up against a speaker on my desk, so, pardon the POV.

I don't have screen capture software for my new computer yet. Haven't had time to set that up yet!

This is also a test of uploading "unlisted" videos to Youtube and then offering them here to paying Patrons.

Maybe someday I'll invest in some kind of phone mount I can use to aim at my drawing table and do more stuff like that.

I have the new system up and running and fully capable of work, and I knocked out a bit of it today, to make up for what I intended to do yesterday.

The files to make up the end of "Offline" and the first page of "Normal Perverts" are compressed, and on better, higher resolution monitors, you will notice the difference. But it's all I can do for now without completely re-doing those three pages, which is roughly a week of work without getting much else done. If I can eventually recover data from my prior computer, I will update the comics with the higher quality .jpgs.

I ordered the extra special screwdriver set required to open up my old laptop (because of course you need them, how can it be any other way?). I'm going to open it and survey and see what I can do with the HD inside. However, looking up the model, it's one of those where Apple decided to solder the titty-fucking SSD to the board. So even if I can get to it, I'm not sure I can get anything off of it, even with something that can read from a PCIe SSD. The old laptop is just refusing to turn on, all together, so any option that requires power to the old computer isn't possible.

Nonetheless, work proceeds.

I lost my work computer to a glass of water Saturday evening. It was powered on and, well, that’s all she wrote. Fortunately I was able to acquire a replacement upgrade the same day.

Everything important is backed up and I restored most of it. But I lost some recent work that I had done in the past couple of weeks. I was able to get them back (partly because Patreon’s file attachments act kind of like a off site backup for me) but I lost those PSD files (not a huge deal). But because of that last couple-week work loss, I lost the last two pages of “Offline” and the first page of “Normal Perverts”. Fortunately, I’d sent these completed pages to my girlfriend to show the moment I finished them, and she has the files, so comic updates shouldn’t be affected. However, the chat program used to share them through may have compressed them somewhat. So those pages might not be of the same size/quality as the rest. But I’ll see when I get the files back.

So, today, I’m finishing setting up my new computer with all the drivers and settings I need to work normally. And then I’ll try to knock out a few things.

These two haven't received many votes from the steering committee for full-fledged adult color comics, likely because of the competition. So I'm condensing their story down to a series of pictures.

The steering committee finished polling on the next adult comic project. It went back and forth, hot and heavy between The Bet and Normal Perverts with the latter winning out by three percent in the end. The last few times anything with Audrey's come up for consideration, she's done pretty well, so there's a good chance I may just dive right into The Bet after Normal Perverts is finished.

For those not in the steering committee tier, The Bet is about Audrey being challenged to not orgasm for a considerable amount of time. Normal Perverts is about Brooke and Francis relating as best they can as a normal couple, despite their deep seated eccentric tastes.

Taming Bruce receives a vocal support from the tier, but it never does well in polls compared to what it goes up against. I'm probably going to turn the idea into something of a picture series (kind of like Alicia) some time, so it can manifest somehow.

This should keep me busy until 2019.

First digital drawing practice with the new tablet. Put aside today for it after I got caught up on all the comic stuff I need to do for a while. I'll be coloring this, probably tomorrow.

This month's update on "Offline" would have allllllmost had the project finished. But it's going to be one page shy when I update it on the 5th. But that does mean it's time for the steering committee to vote on what I'm going to be starting on afterwards. There are four contenders. I decided to nix the other idea I had for Sissy in the last poll, because I've been drawing and coloring her a lot with this project. Maybe I'll revisit it later.

This poll will end Friday evening.

1. The Bet - Mary bets Audrey she can't go two weeks without cumming. Audrey gives it her best, but between Mary and Aron, she's very tempted to lose. Can she hold out? Teasing kinks, chastity, anal sex, oral sex, lesbians. Erotic comedy.

For those who don't remember, or who weren't here around in 2016...

When I first posted this page, it only had one shade layer and no title block, because I wasn't sure where it would go. I just had the thought of a very loose narrative where I'd manage to have sexy, preferably butt-themed imagery on every page. Then I created 22 more pages in my spare time, to encapsulate a first chapter of Brooke's character development in college. I added a second shade layer to this page (to better match the others) and a title block, since now.. well... this is a part of a larger thing.

It all reads much more like a webcomic than a serial issue, because of the time between pages and how each page usually encloses a plot point. It wasn't even until later in the story that I started using transition shots to indicate new locations and passages of time between pages, where applicable... and even then not always.

But, it ushered in a new sub-universe of characters within the Original Life world, that I refer to as Brooke's world. It pulled in Francis from her first adult comic appearance, and created new ones, like the filterless Cathy, Professor Anders, the devious Kaori with her man-pet Bruce.

Since all the pages came out infrequently in my spare time, over the course of a couple years, I'm posting this with a .zip archive of all 23 pages, so people can have their collections up to date and ready, before I start on chapter 2.

Chapter 2 will continue the same style and page size, and pick up where Brooke left off. It'll have the same frequency of completion... that is, in my spare time as I can... and it will be available to the $6+ comic tier. I can't say when I'll have the first page done, since it's kind of a here and there kind of thing.

Wrapped this up today, as promised. I should have flatted out the bottom of Kaori's butt a little, because floor resistance, or put some more skirt material over it, but ah well. There are more than a few tiny issues with it, but I pretty much laid it out on the fly as digital drawing practice.

Worked late into the night practicing pure digital drawing, again. I aim to color this sometime tomorrow and add dialog.

Had fun fussing around with ways to depict underwater lighting. I like this picture.

I decided to draw this digitally, and I recorded an entire video of me drawing it from a skeleton, while talking about art tips, destined for youtube (without her nipples and pubes visible). When I was done, I realized my software was pulling audio from the wrong source and you couldn't hear anything.

So! I may do a voice over later. After dinner. And a few whiskies.

As you know, last month saw some issues with payment processing. Patreon, ever transparent, has sent me a message letting me know about how, why, and what to look forward to in case we run into similar troubles.

In case you were wondering, they had to transfer the processing of payments for adult material to an overseas processor in the UK. This is apparently necessary for the continuation of adult material on Patreon.

I gave the Steering Committee Tier a list of characters to let them decide who would be the subject of my next few warmup/spare-time drawings. Then I drew this little pic to advertise the results.

There are a lot of places I can go with the next little series of pictures I do for fun. Instead of letting you vote on the central fetish themes like last time, I've decided to let you decide which central character you want to see more of, and therefor have the images be about them in some way.

I don't have hard and fast ideas about each one of these yet. So I can't give you any summaries about what these images will be about. But just based on general character interest, please let me know which ones hold the most appeal for you. And yes, you can vote for more than one.

I've provided brief descriptions below, since not all of the characters have had tons of exposure and their names may not be enough. These are characters that inspire ideas for me, right now, but I haven't had an opportunity to depict much in their own right lately.

Rachel - You know Rachel. Pink bunny. She regards wholesome relationships the way a serial killer regards others' right to life.

Mary - Large black wolf and Audrey's girlfriend. Imposing but nice.

Hilde - Svelt, large breasted doberman pinscher. Appeared in the comic "Aron" at the end.

Trixie - Sensation-chasing nudist. You know her.

Red - Sexy otter who eschews emotional attachments.

Mike - Bisexual femguy switch. Re-hooked on women since getting Samantha pregnant.

Kaori - Dominant red panda who collects sexual worshipers. She appeared in the Brooke Goes To College series.

Zoe - Athletic flexible feline nudist. I'm afraid I haven't really done enough to get a feel for her personality and growth, other than having been devious in the past.

Penny - Light brown mouse. Sometimes Lynne's jogging partner and the object of her sexual acting out. Barely developed beyond this. She has a penis (and balls).

Sketched this a few days ago. Spent a bit of Sunday finishing it.

Another weekend warmup with Audrey.

Started the day with something simple, before proceeding through my day of drawing rabbit butts until I die.

Hello $6+ comic tiers! I'm going ahead and uploading pages as I go with this. It looks like the race entries will take more pages than I thought, so I'm just going to share what I have and go from there. The kitties still have another page to complete their entry with, before moving on. I'll just share them as I finish them. Attached, you'll find all three pages for this project, so far. There'll be a lot more to come, and as I finish pages, I'll be sharing .zips of the project thus far, to let people keep up easily.

The resumption of the full work schedule continues.

I thought I'd share the shades for the feline introduction of this little tome I'm slowly progressing through. This is going to introduce quite a few new races, and as I color and finish each entry, I'll be sharing them with the $6+ comic tiers. It'll kind of be done similar to how I did the Brooke comic, in my spare time as I have the ability. But it's something I definitely need to do and have been doing for a long time.

I’m working on things and entertaining a guest through the weekend, so my updates may be sparse until next week. Also, I’ve been working on stuff for the Cottonwine “Mistress Theressa” pages, and each race entry looks like it’ll take up two pages, thereabouts. So I’m not going to update the project (available to $6+ comic tiers) per page, but will update it per race entry. About every two pages it looks like.

The first and introductory page to this project I'll be doing in my spare time, similar to how I put out the Brooke Goes To College pages. This project did reasonably well in the recent Steering Committee poll, and it's something I've wanted to do regardless. So I'm just posting pages to the comic tier as I finish it.

I accidentally let the poll run longer than necessary, because I was brisk and didn't read the calendar correctly. But alas, it served its purpose.

I'll be doing "Offline" next. It's funny, I often have an idea of what might win in the polls, and I'm very often incorrect. But this time I had a feeling Offline would win. Not only did it have several independent images done prior to help prime the pan for it, but it was the most unique of the two plot-driven projects on the list.

The Mistress Theressa project will probably live on in independent images that I do over time. As I stated in the last poll, I've already started writing entries for it, and once I finish up Alicia's little run of breeding images, I'm probably going to start on that as my spare time work. This is all the more inspiring for me that this project came handily came in second place.

I've actually already started writing on it, doing the text for entries over the last couple of weeks. Instead of a scientific explanation of the Cottonwine world's monsters and inhuman races, I thought I'd write from the perspective of a woman whose accumulated a lifetime of experience seeking them out specifically for exotic sex. It will feature her description of the monster's and race's sexual behaviors, sensations, risks, dangers, payoffs, and possible pregnancy implications. It's basically a guide for Cottonwine women who want to have sex with inhuman races and monsters while trying not to lose their minds.

4. Taming Bruce - The story of how little Kaori managed to tame big bad Bruce, what Bruce was like before he met her, and how he became what he is, today. Largely a commentary on the veneer of "alpha" nature in some men who try too hard, and the occasional woman who's able to see right through it, and get to the heart of what she wants.

Welp! Beth Leashed is almost in the bag and it's time to decide what the next main adult project is going to be. Beth Leashed goes very well. I'm pleased with the pages and I'm glad I was able to do six more for the comic, despite how they take me longer to do, and despite taking almost a full week off from working. I think some of my other stuff suffered a little as a result, but still.

I highlighted the three top performing fetish themes from the last poll. I've already got some ideas as a way to flesh out a relatively new character that hasn't made much of an appearance anywhere, using some of these. That should keep me in the warmup business for a little bit.

There are a lot of places I can go for my next string of sketches and pictures, and I'd like to let you, the steering committee, decide on the sorts of thing they emphasize. In the poll below you'll find a list of fetishes and thematic fetishes that I'm more than comfortable indulging in.

It's important to know, that while you may like an assortment of them, you must choose the one you'd like to see more of, above all else. How these fare in this poll will give me a good idea about what people want to see me emphasize and depict, for a bit.

This isn't about one theme/fetish "winning" over others. It's just to give me an idea of the steering committee's dominant sentiments. If two, three, or four of them are really close in popularity to one another, it'll give me just as good of a picture as if one single fetish/theme pulls far ahead of all others.

Clarification on "General Erotic/Slice of Life". This means general cute women, nudes, casual poses, regular sex, without really an emphasis on other fetishes at all.

I drew this in front of the television after work last night. The main goal was to change the swept-back hair at the top of her head, so it didn't look like a pack of hot dogs, anymore. Then I colored it this morning.

I struggled with this pose more than I should have.

A warmup I did today that I'll probably color when I have the time. I'm wondering how I can use color to imply thinner or spaced out fur on the belly and breasts.

Managed to do some sketching before bed last night, and had a window to color them up this afternoon.

This is only the second time I've drawn lactation, to my recollection. The first was with Mary Ann in the comic "The Itch".

Taking almost a week off put a real dent in my work schedule, but I'm back in full swing. In case you were wondering why I've posted fewer extraneous drawings, lately, it's because I'm giving the Beth comic priority during my working hours. I'm also extending those working hours into the evenings to help.

I do have so much more I want to do. I want to draw more of Samantha. I want to draw some more Sissy. But I really want to draw more pictures from Brooke Goes To College, because I have a good way to wrap up the first "chapter".

But I guess I really just wanted to post this because I feel terrible when too many days go by and I haven't updated anything.

I got some guff from someone on Deviant Art for drawing dogs sweating, so I decided to warm up today's work with a quick sketch of Brooke sweating.

Actually sketched this in front of the TV a few nights ago, and decided to go ahead and color it on this lazy Saturday.

The guy started out as just some nobody, and then I had this thought of making him an updated version of Marley the porn addict from the old Original Life, who appeared for about three pages. And then I had some idea about him still living with his mother in his early 20s and being forced to leave the house after she cuts off the internet.

But I'm rambling.

18 minutes of me chatting about ongoing scheduling and such, since the launch of Original Life +5. As well as me doing this little follow up to that other Sissy image.

Fell sick today, but managed to crank this out, anyway. Started out as just a simple sketch and then I decided to continue it on larger paper so I could draw their entire bodies.

The Mai and Minh comic has concluded, and the first page of Beth Leashed is complete! I'm not going to talk much about the development of the Siamese kitties until everyone's had a chance to read it.

I plan to start new pages sometime in April. For now, it'll be a place to do sketches and test pages of the subject matter while I get a good idea on how I want the new pages to look.

I also set a stretch goal, which if met, will cause me to dedicate enough time with the comic, per week, to do regularly scheduled uploads.

A little rulemaking here: The Original Life +5 Patreon is for my SFW material, and I'd like to keep it fairly separate from what goes on, here. Please refrain from sexual, sexualizing, and creepy comments about the subjects of the drawings and comics, there. A sketch that I decided to color when I had some time. The ideas are coming along, so I'm going to start producing things for the Original Life Patreon, and probably launching that in a few days time.

Mai and Minh's Grand Vacation is on the quivering verge of completion and the Steering Committee tier ($12) is currently voting on the adult comic to be worked on.

1. The Mission part 2 - The second and probably final installment of The Mission. The plot will detail the reveal of the breeding rituals among the Equines mentioned in the first installment. The tone will be darkly sexual and mystic.

2. Beth Leashed - A largely wordless comic detailing a fetishized Beth home life in contrast with her professional wear as she comes home and essentially becomes a pet. The tone will be about the themes of contrast, the heavy emphasis on fetish play, pet play, Beth's anatomy, her messy orgasms, and her general use.

Well. This took all day.

After a few messages (and an attempt to sort my own characters out for now), I decided to do this chart to get a grip on the various sexual relationships flying around my more actively drawn characters. I omitted people I don't intend to draw again, because they weren't intended to be regulars, or look too much like other characters (such as people mistaking Brice for Beth's one temporary partner Andrew - which is entirely my fault). I didn't include the children of married couples, obviously.

The Brooke sphere is the most chaotic due to the nature of her story. The fact that it's constantly on-going means some things may change and this chart may fall apart completely. Still, there was something cathartic about doing it.

I couldn't find a name I'd given to Sissy's brother. If I had in the past, I've completely forgotten. A pitfall to barely ever drawing him.

This chart may also help the $12 tier determine the characters they want to see more about in the future and share that information with me when the time comes.

Some day I may do an even more detailed write-up, and a Wiki.

The short month caught me off and I only have five new pages for Mai and Minh, instead of the usual six. I plan to finish this one up in the month of March. If you're in the $12 tier, expect to be asked about what sort of thing you'd like to see next, later this month.

I originally posted this journal to Fur Affinity, but for those who don't want to swim through that horrendous page, I'm asking for your input here. Thanks for the indulgence!

I uploaded a monochrome image of Beth recently and someone drew an (understandable) reference to an image drawn by a fantasy artist - an image I'd never seen before. The inference is obvious. The position of the camera, so to speak, is in the same place, and the orientation of the two characters to one another is almost identical. I made a side by side comparison for myself and you can see it here: (nsfw)

The thing is, I used no reference and the image similarities are an honest coincidence. But given their similarities, I'm unsure what I should do. Since it was purely innocent, do I just keep it up? Or do I remove it out of some sense of... deference, since it's been brought to my attention?
Especially interested in feedback from other artists. Were you in a similar situation, what would be your course and why?

I decided to sketch up a little reunion page.

Warmed up with this on a lazy Saturday. I may color it, unsure. Without Priscilla watching her every second, Samantha's mating options have expanded.

A comment from a fan a few days ago got me thinking about what Samantha might be like, now. So I did this quick picture of her momming it up. I may color it later.

Put together another video for the Steering Committee tier. This one is just eight minutes long, and I talk about the three main things I'm working on, including the Serena project, and where I'm finding time for it all.

Wrapped this up. Moved the image up a little bit on the canvas. It just seemed more dramatic that way. Also, the ginger cat was kind of a brisk coloring experiment.

The second page in Serena's adventures, here for the Steering Committee. Before I ready more pages for wider exposure, I need your input on what she may do. Suggestions that I find amusing and/or get upvoted a lot will probably find her at least considering them in a comical way. This isn't a poll, so much as a free-range input option.

Started this up last night and will likely finish it before the day is out. Just for fun.

Last post of 2017! And fittingly, one of my favorite things to work on. Kaori is a thing.

I did this as a sketchy warmup I originally intended to have as her first intro page for the story being guided by the Steering Committee. In the end, I opted for a different image.

I've started working on Serena's illustrated introduction, and this is the first page. I'm showing it to you, the Steering Committee tiers, as I finish the pages. While I'll be sharing it with others in phases. For instance, I'll be sharing the entire introduction at once with the comic tier when I complete the other pages for it.

I'll let you know when there are decisions to be made.

There's nothing too important to discuss here, other than to thank you all for making 2017 a great year. I appreciate your support more than you know!

Just like the last two years, I completed four adult comics in 2017. That's the new normal. Less than when I was running my website catalog, but each comic has a larger page count. I like this because I can spend more time in one story. Brooke Goes to College became a sporadic kind of thing that really caught on. Look for more of that in 2018. I also let the Steering Committee create their own character, in a way, in the latter part of the year. Look forward to seeing where she ends up, next year. Ground is broken on the new Mai and Minh story that was voted to be next, and you can look forward to the first few pages of that, along with the wrapping up of the first chapter of The Mission, for the first big comic update on January 5th.

As I said in the video I posted, you're going to have to decide whether the male furries in her world have normal human-ish junk, or animalistic junk. I thought about a world where the people could have kinda both, but it would seem awfully implausible, arbitrary, and strange. So it's going to be an either-or proposition. It would apply to all races/breeds.

A 15 minute video where I explain how I compiled the current information from polls, and what that all means for the character, and where we will go from here. Now that we've determined her standard of living (middle class, raised poor), I have better ideas on how to break down her employment options when we meet her. This will help with determining her story start. Pretty straightforward!

I've chosen jobs that could reasonably offer a middle-ish class living to a 27 year old woman. I stayed away from employment options that would imply a required level of sexual experience, such as call girl (not that she can't become one if you make her).

You're not voting on what you want her to do, or become. You're voting on what she does for a living the moment we meet her. She's not locked in on this for the rest of her life.

1. Bartender - Maybe not high middle class, but bartending in a capacity where tips keep her comfortable with some leftover cash, and social opportunities are aplenty. She may have other, yet unfulfilled, aspirations. She could live almost anywhere.

2. Fine Artist - Painting and/or sculpting at a level where she's able to sell pieces and acquire clients to the degree that she's comfortably middle class. She probably lives in a the heart of a city with a robust art culture. Her apartment is probably festooned with canvasses and supplies.

3. Corporate Artist - Breaking into the stability of the corporate world on a lower level, she does digital and commercial art and/or animation for a production studio, advertising, or anything that requires in house design. She probably lives in or near a major city, and works in an office.

4. Freelance Illustrator - Working digitally and/or otherwise, she's able to scrape up enough clientele to make a middle class living. These days, she probably does most of her work on the computer. She works at home and could live anywhere.

5. Bike Courier - Dashing from place to place through the day and keeping her legs in shape at the same time. She's in and out of corporate offices with packages, tight shorts, and a dorky helmet. She lives in a city that's crowded enough to justify what she does, and probably owns a bicycle that Jay will hate drawing.

6. Programmer/ IT - Working for a company that produces digital products, like software in some capacity that requires knowledge of computer languages and networks. She probably lives in or near a city.

7. Fashion Sales - She works at a boutique shop selling clothing to women who are wealthier than she is. She probably lives in a city with enough of a fashion culture to allow this. She may have other aspirations.

8. Thief - A small time thief, a pickpocket, a skilled shoplifter playing a constant cat and mouse game with loss prevention agents. She does just enough to live middle class, without going large enough to draw undue attention. She could live in any sized city, and she probably knows a fence.

9. Small Drug Dealer - Using connections to sell and distribute through the mail or on the street, mostly unauthorized marijuana, pills, and LSD. She probably lives in a city or a suburb.

10. Auto Mechanic - She works on cars and gets nice and greasy. She's mechanically inclined and can probably figure out and fix other machinery as well, like boats and air conditioners. She could live anywhere.

11. Gamer - She makes enough money playing video games on streaming services, with a moderately popular channel. She could live anywhere.

12. Policewoman - She wears a uniform and carries a gun and everything. She could live anywhere.

13. Maid - She works for a company that books her to clean clients' houses, because people are too busy to do it for themselves. Social opportunities are aplenty. She may have other employment aspirations. She probably lives in a suburb or city.

14. Nurse/Medical - At a hospital or a clinic, sometimes working long hours as the job demands, and wearing weirdly colored scrubs. Opportunity to confront every shred of physical weirdness imaginable. She probably lives in a suburb or city.

15. Photographer - She's moderately successful as a photographer, working freelance, sporting events, weddings, and anything she can sell. Her camera is probably the most expensive thing she owns besides her car. She probably lives in a city and it's possible she travels frequently.

Another poll we have to get out of the way, which will affect how Serena's story starts off, and the kind of sexual person she is when we first meet her. You need to rate her level of sexual experience to help me get a grasp of her personality and what kind of arc she will go on.

Remember, she's 27 years old. You're not voting on what she will be doing or how you want her to "end up". You're voting on what she's already done when we meet her. None of this determines what she's locked in on for the rest of her life.

1. Virginal Experience - There's been some fooling around here and there, maybe a boyfriend or two. Not necessarily a full on virgin, but almost practically so, with maybe only one tentative sexual experiment in her past. This start will be good for journeys of discovery and awakening, and realizing sexual sides of the character. Think of it as almost a blank slate.

2. Repressed Experience - Unlike ordinary virginal experience, for whatever reason, she has few real sexual encounters due to deep psychological repressions heaped on her in the past. Likely factors are guilt, strict upbringing, familial "pride", or religiosity. Stories that start from here will very likely revolve around overcoming these blocks and being able to express an array of repressed fantasies and urges.

3. Average Experience - Relatively normal experiences growing up, boyfriends come and go, virginity lost in the late teens, more relationships as a young adult, with normal healthy sex. This start will be good for stories that question relationship choices, and confront unique new sexual partners and experiences.

4. One-Relationship Experience - She's had one long term relationship in her life, perhaps with her high school sweetheart, perhaps with her boyfriend from college. It's either been coasting on inertia ever since, or has recently ended in some way, with her ex still around in some capacity. She's experienced sexually, but not in dating and meeting new people. Stories that start this way will revolve around these issues of new dating, inexperience, awkwardness, and lingering relationship remnants.

5. Heavy Experience - Relatively heavy levels of sexual openness and acting out in her life. She may gravitate toward transient relationships with men who aren't the most stable, and she may maintain a batting order of sex buddies outside of relationships. She's probably tried the moderate kinks you'd see in your average porno, "just to see." This level of experience usually comes with psychologies: intimacy and compulsivity issues. This start is good for characters who dive right into sexual adventures, with arcs that revolve around these encounters, and her (and others') attitudes toward them.

6. Skewed Experience - Not necessarily a heavy experience (though it could be), but an early experience with a taboo or unorthodox relationship that skews her desires. This can manifest as a preference for men far outside of her peer group, crushes on relatives, seeking anonymous sex, boundary issues, etc. To have a character that revolves around any drive like this would require an additional poll to determine her earlier skewing experience and her current preference.

7. Fetishy Experience - Her sexual experience is full on into the fetishistic realm, already. She actively seeks out, or is in, kinky, fetish-oriented relationships. BDSM clubs, role play environments, the full immersion into the worlds of master/slave relationships, safewords, strap-ons, and red bottoms. Starts like this are similar to the "heavy experiences" starts, with stories that revolve around her and others' attitudes towards these kinds of encounters, and perhaps the contrast it has with the normal world.

8. Sex Addict - A full compulsive disorder where she's just about unable to help herself every time she sees the chance to get laid. As an attractive young lady, she finds tempting men with casual sex very easy, fueling her impulse to fill her anxious needs. She may engage in sex with strangers, and/or regular partners. Stories starting here will likely revolve around the contrast of compulsive, casual sex, with normal society, and the inability to have healthy relationships.

This turned into a more detailed poll that I intended, but I had fun doing these write ups. It was great exercise.

It's time for piercing options. Several things to note:

To make things simple for us and condense the choices, I went with a "cascade" kind of options list. My justification is that the piercing schemes get progressively more aggressive and bold, and that if she has her nipples or clitoral hood pierced, she probably also has her ears pierced. At the very least, people who want her nipples and/or clit pierced, probably don't mind that she also has the other things pierced that come with that option. I simply don't have the bandwidth to offer every conceivable permutation of piercing arrangements. And ultimately, whether her hood piercing is vertical of horizontal is kind of splitting hairs when it comes to what it says about the character, overall.

On jewelry color, I think silver goes better with her hair color, than gold. If you disagree, we can discuss it, but most importantly:

Warmed up with this quickie of the Steering Committee's character creation, still in progress. I'm going to use this particular sketch to allow the committee to vote on her optional piercing arrangements (or none), as I festoon the drawing with metal.

It looks like the name "Serena" is winning pretty confidently in the name department. I like it, as well. So we'll go along with that. It sounds fitting for a lioness without being so exotic that it would estrange her from a contemporary setting.

In this poll, you're going to be determining her class status at her age of 27. I originally was going to do this whole write-up where I listed all the jobs she could have, but the choices ended up SO numerous, so I'm going to whittle it down to her general economic status for now. In polls like this, don't think about what makes the "happiest" circumstance, but think about what makes for the most interesting stories in your mind.

1. Poor and raised poor - She's poor but surviving, and she comes from a family that is poor, as well. She probably only has a high school education.

2. Poor and raised middle class - She's come from a comfortable middle class family, but she's trying to make it on her own, starting at the lower end of the economic spectrum without relying on much support from home.

3. Poor and raised wealthy - She grew up with a very comfortable lifestyle, but for whatever reason, she's estranged from her family support in order to make it on her own, starting out at the low end.

4. Middle class and raised poor - She's risen above her upbringing and she's doing better than her parents.

5. Middle class and raised middle class - She's pretty much continuing how she grew up. Maybe someday she'll do better than her parents, but not right now.

6. Middle class and raised wealthy - She's making it on her own, not quite as well as her parents, but she's still young.

7. Wealthy and raised poor - Amazing opportunities and ambition have caused her to grab life by the nuts and find the key to be on her way to wealth, beyond anything she was raised with.

8. Wealthy and raised middle class - On her way to doing much better than her parents, due to her field and the opportunities she's exploited.

9. Wealthy and raised wealthy - Born to comfort, and at her age, she's happy to rely on it as a safety net so she doesn't have to worry about money, giving her greater flexibility in what she wants to do, and free time.

Finished this up before bed, tonight. This character was created by polling the Steering Committee tier ($12) for her physical nature prior to allowing them to determine her adventures.

My computer shifted into night shift mode, so the screen tilted far away from the blue spectrum while I was shading, so as far as I can tell, she looks fine.

Over the past week and a few days, I've been working with the Steering Committee ($12+), taking polls, feedback, and input, and letting them design their own character for future adventures to be determined by them. So far, this is what they've collectively envisioned, physically, with colors to follow when I have the time.

Right now they're determining a name for her, and will begin the process of determining other personality and fashion elements, this week. I want to do a more thorough character sheet of her once everything's set in stone and she's ready to be in stories.

It's time for you, in the steering committee, to determine the name of this lioness. This isn't a poll, but just a place to collect your suggestions in the comments, and see how they're "liked" or reciprocated.

Oh, I'm not done with you humps, yet. You have more polls to fill! Right now I'm getting the ones that don't require accompanying art, while I work on main projects.

How sexuality is going to work isn't where one choice wins and cancels out all the others. It'll be handled more like how her age was handled, if you saw my video about how I arranged that information. Different choices will "tug" the character's final disposition in those directions. The degree of her straightness, gayness or bisexuality is up to your collective determinations.

1. Hard Straight - Only interested in dude men.

2. Bisexual, Male Biased - Interested in dudemen, mainly, but sometimes women, or certain women, sometimes in a sexual sometimes way.

3. Bisexual, Female Biased - Mainly interested in women, but men, or certain men, are still sexy to her in a way that warrants her interest.

Time to pick the primary hair color. Primary being the operative term, not necessarily "natural". After this, I may conduct a poll with different physical options, just to finalize things, or keep them as they are. We'll start covering "fashion" later on, as the character's personality comes into focus. I consider things like piercings and tattoos to be fashion. I don't like tattoos on furries, but if you demand it, we'll do it.

Hello! Sorry for being rather quiet this week. I've been bombarding the Steering Committee tier ($12+) with polls for the character that they're going to be creating. I'll be sharing sketches and images of the results with everybody once it gets set.

In other news, the steering committee has also decided that the next adult comic project will be Mai and Minh's Grand Vacation. And by no small margin! So, look for the completion of the first chapter of The Mission, and then the beginning of Mai and Minh's next story, for next month's comic rewards.

I tried to create more polls today for the steering committee character creation, but on the interface, in multiple browsers, when I went to type in a new field, it wouldn't insert the names. Instead it would create new fields with the letters I was trying to type in the first field. Everything was working fine up until yesterday. I'll have to wait until this resolves before we can continue creating this character.

I said you guys would be busy with polls, didn't I? The last pages of the first installment of The Mission will be completed in December, so I'm going to let you determine the project that gets started after that.

I have four options on deck:

1. The Mission part 2 - The option to jump right in with the second (and probably final) installment of The Mission. The plot will detail the reveal of the breeding rituals among the Equine mentioned in the first part. The tone will be darkly sexual and mystic.

2. Beth Leashed - A largely wordless comic detailing a fetishized Beth home life in contrast with her professional wear as she comes home and essentially becomes a pet. The tone will be about the themes of contrast, the heavy emphasis on fetish play, pet play, Beth's anatomy, her messy orgasms, and her general use.

3. The Animal Inside (working title) - A project about Sissy, with a Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde theme. It's about the way she desperately maintains her outward propriety, while her dangerous hedonism is like an animal threatening to get out and dominate her personality. The tone will be about contrasts, her sexual depravity, temptation, group sex, anonymous sex, risky sex, and what she does to trigger what her animal side wants.

4. Mai and Minh's Grand Vacation - Mai and Minh manage to squeeze a vacation out of Priscilla, and this will be a chronicle of what they're like when not working on her estate. The tone will be about having fun, hooking up, cute sex, and saucy cats chasing what they want.

For the sake of continuity, The Mission part 2 will continue in black and white, while the other three options will be done in color as usual.

The Mission chugs along. My life is basically anthro horses, elves, and gambisons, these days. The first installment of The Mission is *almost* done. I wanted to get it done in November, but alas, I didn't want to hurry it. But there's just a couple of pages left to do to end it before the next big installment. Before then, the steering committee tier ($12+) will get to vote on the very next comic project. If you're in this tier, you're going to be pretty busy with polls this month!

I know not everyone downloads the watches the videos, but since this is a fairly optional kind of thing, I figured a video would be a faster way to explain my process for aggregating this information and using it to shape the Steering Committee's character.

It's about 20 minutes long, since I like to be wordy.

As I explained toward the end, I'm going to be establishing some polls for you to take part in which will further flesh out this character's physicality, which I hope to have complete by the end of the week. So look forward to evolving art of her in the next few days.

The period for aggregating the data on feature preferences has ended. I'm going to work on collating it a bit and probably make a video showing my results and processes for determining the character's nature, soon.

This project was mentioned in the prior post to the public. You, in the steering committee tier, have the privilege of participating in the design of this character and his or her subsequent adventures. The guidelines are as follows:

- This entry is *ONLY* to determine the physical traits of the character, not their name, history, or whatever. That will come later. The fields for input in this entry are listed further down.

- The character is *not* constrained to inhabiting one of my created universes. The kind of world/setting the character inhabits will be decided by the tier after the physical characteristics.

- Existing species/races only. Mixed breeds/races are fine, but no hybrid species (no cat-dogs, folfs, etc).

- Reasonably natural-like color patterns only. Don't make me cry.
