Some thoughts about pseudopeens and sheaths and hyenas led to this. I created this character for the zine, but I think I'd like to do more with her. <3

My hiatus lasted longer than expected! Thank you everyone for your patience. I got a lot of work and backlog taken care of. I've also learned it's important to -relax- sometimes. I'm a bit of a hardcore workaholic in recovery.

In addition to catching up on work I had a small problem with my art files in that my hard drive failed. Spectacularly my backup drive failed failed as well. A data recovery place (I wonder if I should have given them a warning about the content...?) seems to have saved my files, but I can't check for sure until I get Manga Studio installed due to proprietary file formats.

Current new plan is for monthly updates, rather than my previous schedule of weekly updates. Things are just a lil too busy for me these days!

A bit ago I started changing up the reward tiers to make them make more sense and change to a monthly schedule rather than a per-update schedule. With these changes each Patron would pay a bit less individually. Unfortunately, I didn't realize that it would charge you guys even on months in which nothing was posted. Because of this I'm a little behind updates for you guys, so I'll definitely need to make it up to you! I'll be updating real soon starting with some pinups created for a sheath appreciation zine still in production!

Some of you may have noticed the regular updates have suddenly... stopped. SORRY ABOUT THAT.

For a while I've been struggling with weekly updates as well as my other responsibilities and it seems my other responsibilities have won out and are keeping me too busy to upload as regularly. (Also I really wanna finish playing through Persona 5 one of these days, heh.)

It took me a while to decide how I wanted to handle this. I've decided I'll be taking a little more of a hiatus before continuing the comic and, as always, patrons will not be charged unless there is an update.

I've been busy preparing for Califur, Phoenix Comicon, and Biggest Little Fur Con (three back to back conventions, eesh!) and I've fallen a bit behind on the comic. I'll post the new page very soon when I'm able to complete it! <3

For now I've removed the goals while I try to figure out what would be a good new set of goals that you guys would want and that I could deliver realistically. (Suggestions are cool!) Perhaps physical items like keychains or prints?

Originally I had expected to have more free time to produce 1-2 extra pieces per month as freebies, but now I'm going to be going to conventions quite often and it's all I can do to keep up my weekly comic page plus other art and responsibilities that I have.

Also, I created this Patreon with the idea that most of my content would be NSFW. However, if I posted CLEAN content here (or maybe even tutorials?!) would that be something you guys would like to see? I have no intention of slowing down/stopping Rude Awakening in the meantime. If you're "just here for the porn" feel free to let me know that, too.
