Hey gang!

Long time no hear... there was a lot going on in my life for the past 2 months that made it almost impossible to create any kind of content. I fell a bit back with my doodles but don't worry slowly we will get there and catch up. I have no idea how many pictures I will be able to do in a month tho.

Basically for the last month I was constantly sick and trying to catch up with some important stuff. The previous months were about finishing school and studies which I did! So wooo got my bachelors diploma. Also did a small renovation on my kitchen and lil Jake attends a dog training class to improve our behavior and so we understand each other. There is also a problem with fakers uploading and stealing my content... not that I'm annoyed since people who want will support it's just a dickie move they are doing. So if this will continue I might think of another way to give you guys full resolution versions of my pics.

As you can see there is a shitload going on...

For the people who still support me, thank you a lot every dollar counts and I'm supper happy you are willing to help me out.

Have this lil rabbit hole concept I did sometime ago and plan to finally flesh out in the upcoming time.

I have to inform you all that I'm taking a short break till the 15th-20th. I'm focusing on writing a bachelor paper for my end of school thing. So till then I won't be making any new art, but as always after that I will do more illustrations and do a doodle stream :)

Presenting you another smaller painting with some clouds and a towering giant. Decided to goof around with colors teals, oranges were on the agenda today! Added a tiny bunny because why not? Don't think he has a fighting chance... but buns are clever.

As always trying to practice some things with every painting :)

Time for another environment update! I never did any plains in my whole life so I though it's time to change it! Everyone needs a big of sunshine in their life, so here you got a heavy dose of yellow!

Still deciding about the next picture! It may be another illustration or character design.

I present you a fearsome lizard warrior! This lil guy has the spirit and guts to face the dangers of a dangerous world filled with magic and monsters. Barely able to swing his axe but maybe he just wants to intimidate?

Decided that he will share the same universe as the Bird of Prey warrior.

Also going to paint him live so keep an eye for a livestream announcement.

Here is an update with the finished piece, a fully rendered lizard fellow. Heroes don't have to big and brawny, some are smaller but with more heart and as fearsome! Unless they can lift their weapon and actually hit someone!

Trying some texturing with out turning into a texture monster, subtle effects are way more fun!

Hey gang!

First of all extremely sorry to take so long with this piece but as I want to present the best content and work possible! Some say the best art is the one finished and I agree but I just wanted to practice a few extra things.

So what did change? Basically the colors kinda made em vary more and added light to contrast more with the overall setting giving a nice mood of the sun setting and showing some night sky. The process was a bit prolonged because at some point I noticed that the perspective was too off so I had to fix that too. The rest is small changes over all!

Had a blast working on this piece and later on there will be added something extra but thats a surprise. Hope you enjoy this piece! Especially my squirrel pals haha.

Hello.

considering my previous post with my new logo I wanted to show you guys how it evolved. The first logo was under the name Bocian - Design & Illustration, my very first attemp in creating a sign for myself. I used it for some time but decided to do some mayor changes and tinkered about with some shapes and wanted to have fun. So that would lead us to the second logo which is under my name, since Bocian does mean Stork and it just clashed from a business standpoint. It didn't take long to realize something was wrong the previous logo didn't feel right to me and with my friends advice and help we created my final logo which is the 3rd one you can see. It will fit nicely on my business card and to the new webpage layout :)

Everything is coming along nicely~ Hope it does so for you guys too!

I have to admit I missed you all this month since so much happened! The lack of stuff this month was due the fact that I had my finals and luckily I PASSED! OMG! No more school :D! Finished my school after 3 years so now I'm a Culture Knowledge guy with a degree in Computer Graphics.

I can assure you that now I will be uploading stuff regularly :) and this is the first thing after a big break. I present you my FINAL logo design for my lil business and arting. There was a version in the previous month but there was something a bit off with it. You know the feeling when something doesn't click properly? After asking for some pointers and a bit of a brainstorm with someone who actually knows graphic design on a professional level we managed to create this.

The logo itself still relates to my first creation a bunny in motion, gives the design more life. The circle was reduced to a simple shape, no fanciness about it and additional noise to make it as clear as possible. Obviously the never backspace never surrender part is just a joke not a part of the logo. Those would be exchanged for my real name, but I though this looks better as a wallpaper :)

PS. Postcards will be send later today by mail :) It's good to be back~

Hai, hello, siema!

This illustration came to life after a huge mix of emotions, some good some bad. Just decided to sit down and throw some colors down and try different mixes, textures for the grass/leaves and suddenly this came from under my pen. So pretty much no sketches were made, all on the go! I was pretty surprised because this piece took me around 5h to finish which is surprisingly fast considering the other paintings I did and which took me far too much time :D

There was something bugging me as of late and a simple solution to fix that hopped into my head!

I needed to re-design my logo for quite a bit, as much as I liked it the logo itself had a few flaws. With some research, time and a lil bit of love I managed to create a new logo that also had a feature of the old one. Now my bunny fits better into a circle and has a proper shape.

I like it :) but I wouldn't mind to create a simple typography logo someday. Practice or not! For now have this, wallpaper sized picture. There obviously will be a huge version at the end of the month :) !

Time for another update :) and this time I jumped away from painting to practice some good ol' fashion inking. Still going with the theme of character design, I was itching for a long time to draw a robot and came up with this daring robot explorer that tries to go through a desert wasteland with no life in sight or maybe... ?

Hey gang!

Finally got my hands to paint him, this preparation for a mandatory change of water pipes in my house is a pain in the butt :| ... keeps me busy also I blame school!

Haha not really :) still pretty happy to work on this painting, couldn't just knock off a quickie lineart of him he needs more love! I know this takes a bit of time but painting brings me great joy, especially that I see progress! I'm finishing school in a month so there is lots to be done.

Hey there gang!

First of all I wanted to deeply apologize to not being able to get an illustration up the previous week. There was the "long" holiday on plus we're getting some big homework recently, lots of projects for classes which consume my time. But don't worry I will try and post something this week :) ! and pick up the pace after all this madness.

One update might be a little different from the others since currently I'm working on a web page design and would be thrilled to share it with you guys! It's a project for my web design classes and why not kill two birds with one stone! I will do an update to my portfolio.

Time to present another painting but this one will differ from my previous ones. Environment paintings are great practice and all but I didn't do any character design in a while!

So I decided to do something new and actually get some research done. Went with a african stylized design with this one and picked more vibrant colors that go together well. Also pitched a few textures to vary the materials... which made me paint this for a bit longer than I suspected. Non the less I'm super proud of this pic!

Extremely sorry that this pic came in a bit late but it was a super busy week for catching up some school work, homework and preparations for a art show.

But that's enough lame excuses and feast your eyes to my newest creation. As you could guess the flavor for now are environment paintings and going with the flow it was time for a snow themed one. I took a lot of consideration to detail and some lighing with this piece and I'm super happy from it even if it took a bit more time.

PS. Dear Patrons, this monday/tuesday (still have to decide) I will be doing a doodle stream.

Also today I should get my postcards so I will be able to send em on monday. Considering this delay I will give you some extra love and send you not one but two postcards! The extra one will be a random pick!

Like I said in the previous post this weeks theme is sci fi. I started to make some sketches of spaceship, space trucks ect. this one I liked the most of the bunch. Seems like a pickup truck, more heavy and sturdy. Got to admit drawing space ships can be very relaxing thing! You just let go of your imagination and draw whatever you wish!

This piece will be probably inked too!

This is kinda a continuation of my previous illustration with a deer. This time I added colors but still keeping it fairly monochromatic so it has a proper mood. The animal itself is white to stand out and I think it works!

Heads up: I figured out I could step out of my comfort zone and maybe try some machinery, something sci-fi. Didn't really think what should it be but surelly I will have some fun with it!

Finally had the time to rethink my bunny picture, I know some of you watched me color this piece on my stream but I decided to make a nicely inked picture and throw some basic shades for the mood.

Super happy to see so many of you on my stream!

I'm uploading an older illustration but it kinda represents what kind of illustrations I want to create and present! It's simple and stylized to have my touch and heart. While creating new illustrations I will be presenting some older ones along with sketches so you might see the progress behind it.

Here it started a bit rough and the deer was pretty thin a bit too thin to give a strong meaning silhouette. After all that it was simple, coloring was in greyscale to go with the monochromatic feel and create a magical winter night surrounding the majestic critter.
