I have adjusted my tiers accordingly and updated them to reflect how things have been lately. Right now, $2 and $5 tiers are essentially the same so feel free to adjust as necessary. I haven't been keeping up with old art packages or anything like that so I'm open to any suggestions anyone might have to replace them. I made the #Rekwehst channel on Discord to compensate a little so I can have things to pull from to draw in my down-time.

Hi everyone! An important update regarding my existing Wyvern tier: I am removing it as it no longer reflects how I price my commissions. I am super grateful for those who have pledged to that tier for so long! I'll be contacting those in the Wyvern tier personally to work through any remaining slots.

As for what's next, I've recently bought a Cricut Explore Air 2 and have been having a lot of fun getting into the crafting side of art, including making my own stickers and cards. Having done a bunch of traditional pieces at my hometown anime convention has inspired me to try mailing out traditional sketches again, so I've been thinking about opening a new limited tier (North America only for now unless you're willing to pay shipping ;_; ) where I can mail out little care packages that include a personalized sketch and whatever sticker sets I can think of for that month. I feel a little bit too green to be opening up an Etsy shop and go through all the hoops related to setting up the business side of it, so I figure this might be a good beginner's step if anyone happens to be interested! I'll need a bit more time to finalize the details + setup examples, but I imagine it will be in the $30 range to cover cost of time, materials, and shipping. I'll make a new post about it breaking down the details once I'm ready!

Hey everyone! I hope everyone's been having a wonderful holiday and is having a wonderful New Year's celebration! As you can tell with how late it is, I won't be having a character vote this month and will be making up for it in January; I've been spending a wonderful time with my husband and as some of you know, we currently don't live together and he doesn't take a lot of time off work besides now so we've been making the most of it <3 but enough personal jargon aaa

I just wanted to make a poll to see how you guys feel about the current vote system-- do you guys enjoy being able to vote from a pool of 5 characters, or would it be better for me to maybe just randomize the entire list and just draw whatever comes up? This would remove the whole character vote thing entirely (and the Redemption pool as well), which is why I want to ask if you guys enjoy the process. It would also get rid of the incentive of vote power of higher tiers; is this something that factors into your pledge?

To balance out removing it, there are a few things I could consider doing... More characters drawn a month but at 30 minutes each, two full 1 hour streams for two characters... Maybe some sort of Patron perk during streams? There's a lot of possibilities and I'm totally open to anything you guys have to suggest!

I think it'll be good to freshen things up somehow in addition to the changes I've been already making for the New Year; I'm excited to write up some new plans and resolutions! Hope you guys have a fantastic 2019 !! ♥ ♪

Hey everyone! tl;dr at the bottom, also accepting suggestions!

I'm going to be making some changes that will be effective starting December 1st. Most things will be staying the same but I'll mostly be reworking how I would like to do discounts. Pricing my commissions has been tough for me lately because it's a balance between my hourly rates, how long I spend on commissions and how appealing I want the prices to be. PayPal fees can feel like a substantial dent on top of discounts that I give out (which can be discouraging), so instead I would like to give Patrons a flat dollar discount, or prices in general that would be cheaper than if I opened commissions publicly. It will not be based on what tier you are, and will simply be available to all Patrons; this saves me some time having to look up what tier a patron is, doing the math and sanity checking myself. Examples of discounts may come in the form of experimental sketches that are say, $45 instead of $50 regular. I also count the fact that the commissions are available as "first dibs" to Patrons as part of the deal/bonus as well, as I typically charge a rush fee for those who request an immediate commission out of Patreon slots or a waitlist. Another bonus is typically when I open slots, they are done on the same day I give them out. Reminder that I only do all this via Discord !

Other things I would love suggestions on is what I could replace speed-paints with, as I have not been delivering on that goal in addition to streaming which those two go hand-in-hand since the stream is how I record videos. The process of video editing also just takes a really long time since I don't have the greatest software to do it.

tl;dr: removing % discounts from all tiers, replacing with flat $ first-dibs discounts for all Patrons.
removing speed-paint goal, looking to replace it with something else.

Did a lot of group event and trades this month! I've never participated in ARPGs//Events (Art-RPG) much so it was a little refreshing to be able to do that kind of personal art.

yoyoyo, thanks for all your patience!! Had a crazy last couple of days with furniture hell (our living room is still in styrofoam shambles). A lot of personal stuff happened this month so there's a lot of personal art to reflect that. Thanks so much for your patience! As you know I spent the last week in Vancouver so I'm now having to play a bit of catch-up, but we had an excellent time there! The weather was perfect and I'm already wishing that I could go back ;_; ♥ It really made me want to pick up a bike too but... we'll see!

There's a lot of chibis in this month's package as well as a bunch of sketches from Sketch Drive which is part of my local anime convention where proceeds support both charity and the artist! We raised $2.8k+ for charity and I couldn't be any more proud.

Hey everyone!

April marked the month I got an iPad Pro so I've been doing a lot of art and sketches on it with Procreate and it's been a blast so far! It's really handy to have around and easy to sketch with, I hope it can help loosen up my sketches and improve the overall quality! I did a lot of fun trades on it and hope to continue working with it ('course nothing beats my ol' fashioned tablet and photoshop, but working and combining different mediums sure is fun!)

Thank you everyone so much for helping me reach my SpeedPainting goal! Now that it's reached, I can create speed painting videos minimum once a month; I've been wanting to make a video of this process for quite some time now so I'm glad to be able to put it out, finally!

Future SpeedPaints will have a vote attached to them so I know what to make next; this one was 7+ hours of video condensed into an 18min video so it took quite some time to edit everything and export it; hopefully future ones won't take as long haha

In regards to my last post, because I'm changing up how scratch cards work, it might make more sense to just return discounts to a "per-tier" basis. IE: Tier 1 gets 5%, Tier 2: 10%, Tier 3+: 15%

Doing discounts by scratch card means that a tier has an opportunity to get a higher discount than they otherwise could, but on the flip side those who pledge to a higher tier may get stuck with a low-end discount. Do you guys like the given opportunity or would you rather just have the option to pledge more if you want a bigger discount?

Scratch card's finally getting a face-lift! I was so tired of looking at the old image, haha. And what better way to make a new one than to fit it in with all my bird puns?

Hey guys! How do you feel about the current stream notifications for character streams vs. me just streaming spontaneously?

The main reason I ask is because sometimes I just wanna get to drawing right away instead of waiting, or I get so distracted that I forget to post a notification for the intended day.

Obviously there's bias towards certain time zones since I'm in Pacific Time. Stream times are usually set in the evening for me.

Each have pros/cons so I'd like to know if you guys have a preference. Lemme know!

Just a note that scratch card rewards such as the sketch/adoptable DO expire if they're unclaimed by the end of the month! (that includes not discussing the idea in full with me). I'm gonna make 11:59pm on Monday the 26th the expiry date, so if you want 'em make sure you get in touch with me!

Whew, hey everyone! Sorry for the late update, I went on a really crazy family-trip this past weekend so I didn't have an opportunity to put this together. M̶a̶y̶b̶e̶ ̶I̶'̶l̶l̶ ̶s̶h̶a̶r̶e̶ ̶a̶ ̶l̶i̶t̶t̶l̶e̶ ̶p̶a̶c̶k̶a̶g̶e̶ ̶o̶f̶ ̶p̶h̶o̶t̶o̶s̶ ̶t̶o̶o̶. We started in Montana, went to Mt.Rushmore then all the way to Yellowstone National Park by driving. We ended off with seeing a whole herd of bison so that was a huge perk of the trip! Super ready to relax back at home and get back to drawing. @o@

Tryin' something new with the layout! As you guys know, I created a "3 strikes" system with the character vote; characters that make multiple appearances but do not win the vote are eventually cycled out of the main character pool, so I was thinking I'd pull from the regular pool for the first stream of the month and then pull from the strike pool for the newly created Redemption Round for the second stream of the month. Characters will continuously cycle in this pool but will not appear twice in a row.

The only thing that's different is that there will be two winners and their spotlight will be split into half an hour bouts instead of one. Check out this poll and let me know whether you'd like to see a 30min sketch page or 30mins spent refining one image for each character!

Hope that makes sense and that you guys like the idea!

Hope you guys were able to relax and enjoy the holidays! It was definitely a busy time for me as I'm sure it was for you all. While I'm not a big fan of "New Year's Resolutions" (why wait?), I do have a couple that I've started that I'd like to continue, including practicing Calligraphy, Hobonichi (journalling everyday), and 10 push-ups a day! (better than nothing, right?) On top of that I want to work on my sleep schedule and creating a better work habit for myself.

So I've been thinking of ways I can improve and garner interest for my Patreon and I think I found a pretty good idea that I can act on; this will be something available to every tier of patron so pay attention!

In short: Scratch Cards!

Every start of the month I'd like to create a global scratch card; I'll make a post and patrons can claim a spot to scratch; once the deadline rolls over (let's say 5 days to a week), then I'll "scratch" the card to reveal discounts! Every spot is a winner! ^q^ I may even hide a free sketch request within them! 彡☆ (tbh I was looking for ways to get around the rule regarding raffles on Patreon, but I think as long as everyone is a winner in some regard it should be fine? correct me if I'm wrong aaa). The more patrons I have, the more variety of prizes I can offer, like a free character designed by me!

Anyways, the discounts will vary from 5 - 15% and can be used on anything from commissions to adoptables, including YCHs and auctions. You can even use them to help bypass the waitlist (which some of you may know is extremely long, so getting a commission would be otherwise difficult). For those of you who are in Tier 4, this discount does not apply to your monthly commission but can however be used as described above.

If you guys have any other ideas of what I could offer to Patreon or any feedback at all, please let me know! I'm otherwise gonna try and go through the rewards and tidy things up in terms of wording and the like.

So to celebrate Pokemon Sun and Moon's release I thought I'd do something different for a stream which I hope to hold tomorrow-- (we ordered the games off Amazon so I doubt they'll come same day, so I'll need something to pass the time..... lmao). This will count as 1 of 2 of this month's streams!

Whew, I got to draw my dragon husband this stream!! As a note, this was actually a 2 hour stream because I don't think I'll be able to fit in a second stream this month; I hope that seeing more sketches of this character is a worthy compromise! Hey guys!! As some of you know Patreon now has the options to charge patrons up front when they pledge to a creator; this helps prevent pledging to see content and later backing out of it. I have switched my Patreon to this option to prevent false pledges. For those of you who are already pledged, you will continue to be charged monthly on the 1st, as normal, so this only really applies to new patrons. This is helpful because it can allow people to suggest characters to the monthly stream and vote immediately, rather than having to wait a potential month for an "OK" pledge status. The same goes for the discounted coloured sketch where patrons don't have to wait a month. (However I'd like to give a big thank you those who have been super patient with me with long term projects)

As for streams this month, I apologize for being super behind on them! I've been busy with a bigger indie game project poster and I'm not allowed to stream it due to it being NDA, so I haven't had a lot of time to do personal streaming otherwise. This means that I'll either do two streams in quick succession at the end of the month, or perhaps do something like a 2 hour stream to compensate. If all else fails, I'll just have to do more Patreon streams for September!

So only recently have I realized that my Patreon account being NSFW means that people can only pledge with credit cards, which limits the amount of people who can only pledge with PayPal. The main reason my Patreon is NSFW is because I include those works in the monthly art package and occasionally post pieces here-- which I otherwise post to FA anyways.

That's why I'm wondering if people download the packages or not-- if not very many people do, then I can get rid of NSFW all together and make my Patreon SFW and focus the rewards on something else. I can still include an art package with SFW works and have people request .PSD files if there's specific ones they'd like to see, though.

And that's where the revamp comes in-- at the moment the only thing I can think of that I would replace the art package with is having more focus on the bi-monthly streams. I would probably make it so $2 tiers have vote power and increase vote power to the other tiers accordingly. If I ever reach my $500 goal the votes would also apply to something like a full-coloured/full-illustration of a character or theme that people can suggest and vote for. (The reason it's a high stretch goal for me is because drawing a big piece each month is another commitment for me to think about)

Just finished up this commission for jinuhinu! Was a lot of fun trying to figure out how to render/paint things again. I have on idea how it works. Got a good string of process to go with this one!

Whew, I've been super busy with Christmas parties these past few days! Somehow, I only JUST realized how nice a little preview image of what's in the package looks. b: It's such a small thing, but it's a lot more engaging and makes things more pretty. I feel like it's a little barren but I decided to do this format in the middle of the month so I wasn't quite as prepared; I hope to have a fuller folder for February! I'm open to suggestions in regards to the amount of content and file organization.

This was a really good practice session. Not too used to working with Black and White first but I think it turned out alright! As mentioned, process will be included in this month's package. :>

It's here I'd like to post sketches, art, and behind the scenes type of things made exclusively for Patreon. I may also ask for requests and suggestions, or open up a poll as to what to draw.

What you can request:
Animals, Fandoms, Art Styles, Genres, etc.

What not to request:
Original Characters

Hi everyone! I'm still getting the hang of this site but I've decided that "discounted commission prices" isn't the best way of handling it, however I'd still like to include them in a limited amount of numbers or have a small pool to raffle from.

So I'm asking, what would you guys like to see from me?
How are the pricing/rewards? Too expensive? Not enough content? Please let me know!
