Hello! long time no see! My July hiatus is coming to an end, which means we'll be getting back into full swing again soon. That also means you should expect Patreon to charge you on August 1st, just so no one is surprised. Thank you all for allowing me this time off, I'm very glad to have taken it.

The note about commissions:

I'm going to be changing the way I take them. The waiting list has gotten unwieldy, to the point where I feel guilty listing commissions as a tier reward, since I just don't have the time to turn them around in a timely manner. So I will cease taking new commission proposals for the time being. If you were on the waiting list, don't worry, you are still on the waiting list (if you're in doubt about this, you can message me). Once I've finished with the backlog, I will reopen commissions again in a manner that's hopefully more manageable.

In the words of the Terminator, "I need a vacation."

So, as per the title, I'm gonna to be taking July off. During that time, my Patreon campaign will officially be paused, which means:

• You will NOT be charged for the month of July
• You will still have access to all the content currently available to your tier
• You can still message me, if you need to
• I will be back to work as usual on August 1st

The gist is that nothing much is gonna happen. You don't need to adjust your pledge. Everything can stay right where it is, and we'll pick up where we left off when I return. The pause will go into effect tomorrow morning, and I'll post here again when it's lifted.

This is the first time I've officially taken time off of Patreon since I started almost 5 years ago, and it feels like it's needed. I hope you won't hold this brief absence against me. Cheers, and stay healthy!

Maybe a necessary mess, but still a mess.

So a lot of pledges got declined this month, not just for me but across Patreon. According to the Internet, this is because Patreon moved their HQ overseas. Unsurprisingly, credit cards don't take kindly to your charges abruptly going international, so they flag it. If this happens to you, you will need to contact your bank in order to confirm the transaction as legit. IN THEORY, you should only need to do this once and your bank will trust it from then on.

In short, Patreon made a mess and we get to clean it up. I'm very sorry for that. I know it's a hassle, and I'm super grateful to anyone who's willing to endure it to keep on supporting me. THANK YOU!
