Oh boy, this is a juicy one! A full-painted color commission for XWuffy starring Roman & Teddy spitroasting a fox friend! Looks like Roman decided to snap a selfie of the moment, probably gonna post it to his Twitter...

By opening the PSD file you can see the tattoos layer is in multiply mode, a little trick in order to place them on your characters. Be mindful it only works for black classic tattoos though, not colored ones!

Hey folks! So, Patreon announced they are allowing to reset the preferred currency for creators. Paying me in the same currency as my payout balance will save us both additional conversion feesapplied by banks, credit cards, etc.

As an example, if a creator in the UK changes from USD to GBP, an existing US patron will continue to pay the same amount in USD, their pledge doesn't change... But the creator would be subject to the 2.5% conversion fee for a pledge in a different currency.

As you can easily understand, it's fundamental for me to determine which is the currency the majority of my patrons use! Please vote below 🤗

PS: notice the amount spent for my pledges will stay the same!

As for now, my weekly streamings take place on Friday afternoons (for me), so from around 14:30 to 18:00 CEST. I think this is still the best timeframe for me to jump online, along with mornings... but those were excluded with a previous poll, because of bad timezones!

So I'm asking again which DAY is the one of your preference to enjoy my streaming sessions. You can pick multiple options, so check those out!

PS: I'll probably keep this week's streaming on Friday anyways, unless I will receive a big number of votes saying the contrary!

Cole is a footballer and plays as offensive lineman. Think of him as a big, very gentle giant. He knows he is enormous, so he tries to make himself smaller, keeping his head lowered and careful in the environment around him. He likes pretty things and it's why he keeps his hair in dressage. It is not uncommon for him to follow around a girl on campus just because she has a pretty bow in her hair. Probably not the very smart type, more the quiet one. There is a twinkle in those eyes though: you expect if he got carried away, he might forget his strength and size.

This time you'll find a recent M/solo Ink commission for Sandwalker starring one of their OCs, Brophy, Anson's father! Looks like daddy horse is right at the peak of a much needed relief... Thank you so much for commissioning me again and I hope you will appreciate the final artwork :)

Ink commissions are quicker than my color ones and the layers are very simple too. The "greytones" layer is just showing some flat grey shades, while the biggest difference is made on the "highlights" layer. I am actually considering to change my price list soon, going towards a cheaper offer for my commissioners... I'm gonna keep you updated about that!

Hey Patron folks, here's a little extra artwork for you! It's not a Patreon reward and neither is really linked to the #inktober challenge for this year but, being it originally made with traditional media on black paper, I thought it might be a good timing for me to post this :)

I originally intended to draw 4 original artworks related to Harry Potter's lore, specifically from the 4 houses in Hogwarts; this was supposed to be Ravenclaw, but I ended up going towards a more esoteric/mystical path... oh well! I still love this one and might as well print it someday.

Hello everyone! Check out this new PSD file, a recent Painted commission for PhazonicTempest starring his character, Phaaze! It is indeed painted all in one layer, but those lightning effects are easily added in a second one... and a third one for glowing effects! I found this painting process very relaxing :)

A big inspiration came from The Magicians series, where Niffins are creatures made of pure magic. Specifically, it seems like a Magician trying a spell too hard for his/her skills might be unable to stop it and eventually burn out by it, phisically dying and transforming in such beings. Does anybody else watch the serie? :)

Here's a special pinup, actually another RPG character design commission for Masterdraco! He's a honorable warrior and guardian of his tribe: their weapons are made in corals and wood and it looks like they mastered some water-bending magic as well... I hope you like it!

The general proportions on this character are a bit different from my usuals: I wanted to make the top part of his shoulders/torso area bigger and broad, since I kinda wanted to mimik a real cetacean's shape...? Dunno if it makes any sense, but I'm very happy with this finished design!

Hey folks! I was worriend I had nothing to draw for this week streaming session, but then it hit me: wouldn't it be cool to repaint something from the past, from years ago? I stumbled upon one of my first self portraits, done back in August 2008! In fact, this was done in traditional and then roughly colored after scanning... I didn't know any better back in the day!

Doing this paintover was hard and a bit cringy (those who followed my work on streaming know that well LOL), but I felt so rewarded in the end.
I strongly recommend you to try it out with a old artwork and measure how much you've learned trough the years, growing with your art practice and knowledge :)

This is a recent comic commission, a continuation of a previous 4 pages comic commission to be accurate! All credits to those wonderful guys of course: akamai backdraftwolf bluefire

You will see my usual layers scheme there, and well I decided to share with you this page because I'm actually super happy with the lovetrain panel, there! It seems to be very appreciated, and I hope you're also enjoying the view :)

One little trick about it, in order to create the movement effect: just duplicate the ink layer and use the "movement blur" filter to it, adjusting the direction on the movement itself. Unfortunately you cannot create a curvy movement, but it can be somehow arranged with some patience. Try that out!

I'm sure you all followed my Patreon shenanigans trough my Twitter and my Journals: As dumb and sexophobic this all sounded, I counld't do much about it: I just had to purge every cub-related content from my Patreon page and had to manually re-label every single adult picture with the "Patron Only" tag, making it the frustrating Paywall system I tried to fight the all past year. Anger and frustration around this brought me to consider closing my account on Patreon but, giving it some thought, I decided to change it starting from June, as follows:

• GOLD TIER CHANGE
  the Gold Tier will no longer be rewarded automathically with a doodle reward: it will radically change! It's gonna be turned back to a 10$ monthly tier and will be a luck roulette with a monthly extraction of a lucky winner to get a icon/badge/portrait of a single character!
  
• PLATINUM TIER CHANGE
  the Platinum Tier will rise to 50$ and all slots will be cleared out. While I am receiving a constant support from my top Patrons (and I'm so grateful for it!), many many people cannot get the same artworks for a super discounted price. A lot of people complained about the fact my short number of slots and the fact they cannot snatch one, since it seems like my top Patrons are automathically re-pledging on them. That's why I decided to give it a chance, for what is worth, and The Platinum Tier will be cleared out at the end of each month, allowing new Patrons to get the Platinum Tier. This is another recent color commission for Bif2lucky with Characters ® to José Fernàndez: Alex and Max! It looks like they went on a camping trip and started taking some teasing photos!

In this file you will see my usual layers AND a new, very interesting one: "ambient". When you work with characters that are supposed to be out in the sunlight, or outdoors anyways, this is something crucial! You can see a diffused, soft light washing them over. You can use that at your advantage, also! For example, trying to build a different opacity light layer, depending on the body parts you want to be in towards the viewer or far away from the eye. I hope this is helpful!

Watch out though: this is a recent cub-themed bukkake commission for Taori starring himself in the middle of the attentions of a group of hung brutes...! Download at your own discretion :p

Here you will see all my usual scheme for layers and everything else: one thing you might have noticed (especially in bukkake commissions) is the presence of 2 different layers for the fluids. In fact, one is in Multiply mode and I use it to create a soft shadow. It really helps in creating some structure on those drops n' spurts!

Thank you all so much for your support thorough this March month! I just wanted to get back in touch with all of you, my Patrons, from Bronze to Platinum tiers and deeply thank you for your kindness. All of this Patreon thing is making my personal life so much more scheduled and organized and it's great to count on a more established income source for my art! So thank you, thank you so much! :)

March was an important month for me: the Gold tier has changed and I've just uploaded my last Platinum Patreon reward yesterday... That was quite a final rush in order to get everything in place! So I wanted to point out for the consideration of all my Gold and Platinum tiers: please don't send your reward requests after the 25th of the month, if possible. It makes my schedule mess up a bit, especially if there's 3 or 4 requests at the same time: the end of the month! Impending doom! ?

Here's my solution: every month, on the first or second day of the month, I send out a message to all my Gold Patrons and Platinum Patrons. It is a standard message, but it's basically what I need to get in touch with you in the fastest way in order for me to do some planning. If possible, answer to my message on here and try not to reach for Telegram or Twitter in the first place: I know, it's easier and blahblah... But please consider I have to deal with 20 requests by now and it really helps me out to keep all my requests in the same place! Patreon Message system on here had some issues and it showed already: that's why I will send a second message around mid-month to all my Gold and Platinum tiers who didn't answer to the first one. This should prevent every possible issue with the message system :)

I guess this is everything! I wish you all a happy Easter, if you celebrate it, and if not just take some quality time for yourself. I'll be spending it with my family, eating good things and pampering me up a bit... Seeya in April!

When it comes to human faces I've been struggling a bit in the past years and I just wanted to get better with them. For the purpose, I've been exercising a bit on paper, doodling and looking for some tutorials. And this is actually the best tip I could give to you: wanna get better with faces? Look for makeup tutorials! I've been watching so many of those it's crazy, and it really helps in gaining acknowledge of facial structure and how lights works on it - especially for eyes and lips.

Hey beasts! Another Thursday, another PSD file sharing for you! This one, oooh this one you guys was so fun: A lot of people asked for it, so I decided to do another little contest via Twitter and the winner for #ROV2018REPAINT was DadiusWindlow!

The process for this one was a lot different from my usual routine: instead of starting off from a blank canvas, I've used my old commission! Here's a few steps I tried to put down in a list for you:

• Resize it UP! I pretty much doubled the size of this!
  
• Reduce medium noise: this command will pack the colors up and will probably smudge all the sharp lines. This will become your new Color Layer! I've also merged in a new texture to fix the perspective problemsss... yep, there were some. LOL!
  
• New Ink Layer: this is mandatory, since at this point you would be all out of definition! In this step I also corrected some anathomy issues and proportions ans moved down the leg, so he is just standing there now!
  
• Finishing up: once you got your new Ink Layer down, you can get back to your Color Layer and fix it as you please following your lines. Then I went for my usual routine with Shadows and Highlights and... voilà!
