Like 5 seconds to make a new board...why?

this site already has too many boards for the size of its user base, give it a little more time to grow into itself before you start asking for more

people aren't even properly respecting the request board yet, half the threads on /m/ are someone asking for stuff. i wish more people understood that the point of imageboards is to share what you have and keep generating fresh content for everyone to enjoy. some of these people posting content-free threads and bumping them over and over are so rude.

the only reason a new board should be created is when one gets too busy to contain itself. splitting things up to appease every fickle user's preference when most people don't care is a really terrible idea.

besides slowing down the traffic it would give the mods more work trying to force people to post "correctly" and then lines get fuzzy on what content belongs where and it's all just dumb and a huge waste of time for everyone involved.

a much easier solution is for you to get over it and when you see something you don't like keep looking for something else.
