What I like most? The community of course. They keep me entertained and make me want to give my free time to the site. Without you guys why would I want to be here?

yeah. Cute. I just got finished beating it on insane. I'm disappointed that bioware gave such a "use your imagination" ending and made a lot if illogical situations in the end.

I'm glad I beat it. But that ending. It hurts my head right now and frustrates me it was was left so open-ended.

O' man, i had to YouTube Mass effect there to see what it was about.Now I'm kinda depressed.

I own both systems. Most of my friends play on 360 so that's where I play most cross platform games. I love both systems but most my time is spent on 360.

Also I have had rrod I'm just savy enough to fix it myself. I've had a few jtags and flashed consoles but I just use my gow Xbox now.

I'm just not into the whole nodding thing anymore. I play legit on my main and its like my only account left nowaday. Had the account name Pro till someone hacked my account via
the Xbox site. It was a no biggie since I had only had it for like a month. That tag has been through a lot lol.

As for ps3. Generally just blu rays and system only games. Not much else going on with that thing since Sony got smart and stopped people from getting everything for free off the marketplace.

I went with the red cause I thought it would go with the fact that the site is ran in Russia. But it's whatevs.

I'd like a burnt orange which is what I voted for. The poll is set up so you can only vote once per year too heh.

I don't mean to put more on your plate when you're busy but would you ever consider some sort of user registration where you could log into the site to disable the captcha?

it's done great things to protect us from flooders but part of the point of those kinds of attacks is to force the staff to lock down. long after they are banned they continue to affect us by making it harder for us to post.

if there was some way for a few trusted posters to be able to post freely there would be a lot more art on the boards.

I don't know, I realize that's the problem with making any major changes. I'd offer to help do it but I don't program web stuff. It's just something I was wondering about.

I know C# and java but this stuff is mostly running off of html. I know it sort of but I'd stumble around for the most part. But what you are asking for can be a bit of a tall order for something that isn't catastrophically important.

I've never seen an imageboard like this set up to allow individual users. I don't even know if that would be possible.

you'd have to mess with the kusaba php to do something like that. i know enough php to know it'd be possible since a login system already exists (could put in a new lower admin rank with no powers other than no captcha) but i'm not experienced enough to do it right. i've played with kusaba a little bit for curiosity but anything i make would be crap and full of security holes.

anyway don't misunderstand me, i love this site and don't have any complaints about features or how it's run. the captcha is a small price to pay to keep our content around.

on second thought doing it that way would have the problem of having to deal with applications manually, what a royal pain. hello out there paws users? paging a php angel to this thread to save me from my ignorance

That makes sense when you word it out. But thing is even at admin level captcha is still on. It'd be hard to set up quite right and even then what's to stop spammers from repeating the past.

thats a good point. so it'd be hard to implement and then you have a ton of extra work for the staff to figure out who to trust, then some persistent jerk might lie to get in anyway and boom. nevermind, it sounds like trouble for no reward like you said.
