well, considering the good ones charge anywhere from 50 to 100 or more for a commission and they get so many requests they turn most of them away, well, you do the math.

i know for a fact that some talented artists who can't stand furries draw furry art because it pulls in so much cash

lets take the low end of that, assume $50 for a piece and they finish three a week, $600/mo right there. and that's being very conservative.

the average pay in my country is 250, well I know what i'm gonna start doing....

Charge what ever you like even the not so good artist make decent dough.
You can all ways do the lazy ass YCH commissions and the mindless average furs will eat it up plus once you reach a certain threshold of popularity (not quality,popularity) you can start charging insane premiums.

I cant remember but a few years back someone bought a huge life size/big ass anthro wolf(?) painting for 9K+.Unless im getting going insane and getting two memories mixed up in my head.(if someone knows what Im talking about please post)

i tried to congratulate goldenwolf an she was remarkably rude i was about to buy a print from her as she did it, i walked away leaving the print behind

also id like to add that you can charge for line work too the average is 10-35 bucks and you can do the same for sketches 5-10 also.Doing a limited runs of free commissions is a great way to promote yourself (I assume you're on FA?).
