Hey, sorry for the late reply. Anyway, you do have a valid point.
From what I have seen on other chans and imageboards, Photoshop Threads/Boards usually become popular if there are people willing to at least attempt to change images using Gimp, Inkscape, or other programs.
Another thing I have noticed from other threads was that Photoshop boards always seemed to have trouble finding where to start (hence why I asked). They usually end up starting in a "Miscellaneous" type board (such as "Requests", "Alternative", "Your Artwork", etc).
Also, they often are "cluttered" requests that have varies themes (you will find people requesting to add something, delete something, color something all in the same thread).
Lastly, photoshop threads always seem to "pop up" occasionally, last for a little bit, then die off (or don't get bumped). I then start to see people asking where the photoshop thread went.
Anyway, I am not sure how chans work in terms of programing, but I think adding a Photoshop Board would be nice. You are right, I am not sure how popular the board will become, it all depends on how many people are willing to work on the images. However, creating a seperate photoshop board instead of a thread would ensure that people are aware of it and will check it out. It will also allow people to create their own threads based on what they are willing to work with.
Sorry that this message is so long.
