"May have to change some sprites" doesn't really explain or justify the continuing exclusion of all the new and otherwise completed art assets. As I see it, he's taking the opportunity to rest on his laurels while the DREADED PAWSRU TROLLS are distracted. In fact, you could say that the collective trolling of whatever communities Aval0n visits or receives comments from have been the primary driving force of this project, as evidenced by his continued bitching, martyrdom, and eventual begrudging release of what is essentially a late beta version of a game that should have been done ages ago, completely missing one of the most significant elements. Therefore, I believe that it is in our self-interest as people wanting a finished product to pick up where we left off before Aval0n stunned us by actually doing something.

I think it's folly to expect anything to be done soon. Between their track record and Avian no longer being on Spring break, I'd say we'll be waiting a while to see the art update. I mean, I'm assuming here that Avian has to put the art into the game, but I'll admit I really don't know how that process goes with them.

I dunno, maybe I'm misinterpreting things, but it seemed like the most recent update was largely driven by Avian wanting to get it out and Aval0n being okay with that. I won't claim to know how Avian feels about the update, but most of his work for now is done until Aval0n has more scripts ready (and they feel like fixing a few glitches which I'm sure exist), so I don't think he'll be hounding Aval0n for another.

And while I can't speak for everyone, I know I sure am not planning to complain much about the lack of art. While it would be better with it, I'm not a big fan of the art style, and I was mostly here for the text. I got that, I've had my fill for now.
