Several browsers let you view the actual source contents of the page. Safari is one such browser.
1. In Safari, open the page that contains the content you want to rip.
2. Go to the Window menu and open the Activity window.
3. Find any file ending in .swf, or whatever filetype you're looking for. Another handy tip, is to look for a larger file size than anything else in the site's hierarchy.
4. Select the file and hit copy on your keyboard.
5. Open a new browser window, paste the copied URL into the address bar, and hit return. In most cases, it will download the file. If not, paste the URL into the address bar and hit Option/Alt Return. This is a code that tells Safari to immediately download whatever URL you just pasted.
Enjoy! You can pull embedded videos out of pay-to-download porn sites, you can rip images from copy-protected pages, and most importantly, you can yank embedded SWF files.
