I reconize this art style, and I have seen plenty of unfinished comics of this type that have been down for a year now. Either this guy is an addict, or the best troll I've ever seen setting up unfinished comics and widespreading them only to abandon it completely, and start over.

I'm a furry, and i finish what I start. Guess that makes your argument invalid. The guy making these comics is a pedo-troll...always has been, always will be.

Which of course means nothing at all unless you are ready to verify who you are, and whatever it is that you've finished.
The rest of this is just another example of the vast difference between the fan artist(who isn't under any obligation to do anything at all), and that rare breed who approaches what they do as something with a life and soul of its own. You finish what you start because you care about what you're doing AND those for whom you are doing it. "Furry Ar'teests" that don't get (or try to get) $600 a page for what amounts to erotic artwork with a sand grain of story behind it are on one side- in other words they're just plain nuts- they do nothing but complain and abandon things when "fans" get on their nerves (not that I can blame them much)
On the other side you have the fandom- most of which is poor, broke, untalented and mostly under appreciative- seeing as how they steal 63/64th's of the "artwork" they use for gratification, and which they consider to be "their" property somehow. So in sum, on one side there is no commitment, and on the other side, there is no understanding, there is just self-centered greed. I'll go as far as ID'ing myself as what some of you call a "silver muzzle." I was there when furry fandom started. I used to weep over what people like you on both sides have turned all of this into. Then, I just stopped caring about the art, or the fandom. I finally came to the conclusion that "entertaining" "fans" like you isn't worthy of my own time, energy, or skills. My "reward" for all this is to see lots of time and energy flushed down the loo when someone doesn't finish something, and the "fans" don't think about anyone but themselves. As far as I'm concerned, a pox on both your houses.

First. You talk as if you don't care about either the artists or the people who view their work... and yet here you are, ranting at both "sides". Stop talking bullshit and either be honest with yourself and those you're speaking to, or get back in the closet and continue lurking. If you honestly didn't care, you would have no opinion, one way or the other.

Second. You speak of saying who people are and what they've accomplished, but the best you care to do for yourself is say "you've been in the fandom from the beginning". You also suggest you might have been an artist at some point. Say who you were and show some examples of what you did, or once again, I suggest you just go back to watching and being quiet.

I've also been in the fandom from early on. I feel no obligation to tell you who I am, or what I've done or anything else about myself. I feel like the fandom is going very sideways, but I also feel it has to do with changes in who is a part of it, aging in general and boredom. As for the artists simply dropping a project...? That's up to them as always (unless they've been paid, and even then it only has to be shown to the one who paid for it).

The simplest solution to incomplete art is for people to stop stealing it so damn much the artists throw up their hands and say, "Fuck it." then go find some other hobby to enjoy. At the same time, artists need to recognize that if they want to actually have some sort of fandom, and not simply be "that weird guy who draws animals having sex", they need to cater at least a little to the fans... that means affordable prices and at least some free art for people to look at once in a while.

Simply put, the fandom is slowly falling apart, even though I remember a time when the fans claimed it would outlive everything. It's sad to watch, but it has a sensation of inevitability to it as well. There's no point in making things up, nor ranting at people who couldn't give a rats ass if you say something, so your post is kinda pointless... not to mention it feels fake. Just let it go.
