The story seems pretty intriguing, and it has pretty good character development. Be warned that it's just the first of three books, and instead of cramming as much plot as possible into its 75 pages, there's quite a bit of beautiful watercolor landscapes to be seen here. As far as the story goes, it feels like just an introduction to a much larger story, which it is.

...well, the pic has Dark Natasha's signature in the lower right-hand corner. I'm not big on a lot of Blotch's colour art (and Nordguard, respectfully, looks really good), so it could be a collab they did. I will say that if you look through either of Blotch's Scratches, he's pretty damn good at tasteful porb.
