Not trying to be a dick...
But give credit to something before you claim it as your own,

What's wrong? I looked for a tutorial and then I made it myself with the help of the tutorial.

Its okay really, the only thing i am saying that if "your" drawing is lapped over the tutorial drawing it basicly looks exactly the same minus the hair..

Thats my view, of picking your words with " so i tried to draw some furries myself"

But other then that, every step taken is a good step into the right direction ^^

I dont mind you at all, i used this tutorial too many years ago,

But once i see someone saying he did it by himself, and i see an tutorial with the exact same face, i begin to question..

Many regards,

Fox

Artists usually post tutorials with the knowledge that they are going to be used. And if not, they probably shouldn't be posting them. I tend to be a cite-Nazi myself but using tutorials is just one part of learning to draw on your own. He did not repost the tutorial, but merely used it as reference for his own work. So, unless he traced it, citing a tutorial isn't necessary. Though I applaud your consideration to the maker of the tutorial.

I find it crazy how some people start. I used to not know anything about perspective or anything. Then I took art....a lot of it @.@. After that I took a couple semesters of anatomy in college and got really really good at drawing people (surprise surprise). I have dabbled with furry art too and notice with all my art, the style I had had changed A LOT of the years.

When it comes to tuts, there's always going to be large amount of copying because it's generally meant to be easy and get a basic understanding of what you are doing, and then make it your own.

I'm going to need to get a scanner and share some of my old stuff...which reminds me...I need a new tablet to start drawing again.

Always enjoyed free hand from basic circles and crosses though.
