The problem with this imagepack, differently from the others (but not so differently, if you think about it) it's this thing about inflation of little guys being impaled and then creamed in all their internal organs. Also, enormous cocks (which isn't really bad) and EXPRESSIVITY. Just look at those wrinkles around their eyes. Is he getting too old for his characters? In the end, i could save 5 or 6 images of this imagepack.

The truth of the matter is, these guys are mad because Danilo's turning a profit with his art, which is a very big taboo in the fandom, of course his material is well liked, but a lot of users here have to much pride to admit otherwise lest they encourage others to do the same, god forbid.

Besides, this sort of thing is older then dirt and expected to happen, it's terribly pedestrian but that's the price one pays for living on their work.

What always makes me laugh, is how in nine out of ten cases? the people going "This persons art sucks, this guys an asshole" and all the other whiney posts you see? are the ones in the very same thread then begging for that persons art/comics/portfolios.

Case and point: Jay naylor, likely the most bitched about commercial artist, yet one of the most demanded when he produces something new.

Check the comments on his journals and you'll see a definite pattern emerge in his behavior which supports these assertions.

As for critics: no one is critiquing his anatomy, lineart skill, or coloring skill. What people are critiquing is that he's been over-inserting a fringe fetish into porn bought by the mainstream furry community who don't want that fetish and are led to believe it won't be present since he's gone out of his way to conceal the "weird stuff" in his preview posts each time, in a blatant example of false advertising. When he completely blurs out weasel-squirrel thing from a pic with a Rhino and a Hippo, a customer expected a Rhino and a Hippo. When they've paid money for that and are suddenly receiving a Rhino and a Hippo shoving squirrels into their dicks, many feel grossed out and cheated. Far from being whiny, they're expressing a legitimate complaint that what they bought was not as it was advertised.

The 0_0 faces are annoying to many customers as well, since they enjoy the sexual aspect off Danilo's art, but feel it's difficult to jack off too with the immature and forced humor faces thrown in everywhere. Not impossible, mind you, just...less appealing than it might otherwise be.

Artist acrimony is par for the course, so, it may came from a genuine place when criticism rears its ugly head, however, here's the deal, you know what kind of content he has, it's adamant he won't turn from that, does that mean keep paying for it? to froth at the mouth knowing well what's about to happen? the answer is clear!

The reality is, the things that villainize him is purly subjective, when people go on tirades due to conditions they can't ignore (even when they wholeheartedly can), it seems really petty, okay how about this, from now on, any new Image Packs he makes will NOT be distributed, those who don't like it will have the glory of never getting it free, therefore no one will feel victimized and the one's who like will have theirs.

It's all about $$$. If he's getting paid, and the art works, even if it's not good, there's no need to change it to appease the 1% minority.

I enjoy FR's art. The only thing is hes drawn a lot of unnapealing stuff. If hes trying to appease that 1%, hes forgetting about the rest of the fanbase. If his art was more of his comics and earlier works, rather than throwing in vore and tiny unproporional retarded animals, I might actually buy it.

In short, he's arrogant, and admits to using his Image Packs to troll people. That goes beyond simple weird fetishes and straight into asshat territory. While I certainly would never give this guy my money, I consider it a shame and an affront that he's wasting his considerable talents to willfully take advantage of the more gullible people among his fans who don't realize they've been had.
