A special visitor turned up at Laius and Apius's home. This fine Krogan is an old fart who is also Apius and Caetia's godfather. He normally wouldn't resort to this at all, he was a high grade military figure become teacher of the space force after-all. Thax couldn't believe what he heard from Crius. How far Laius has fallen since Alnia's death, it honestly killed him that Laius has resorted to something so abhorrent and disgusting as pedophillia. What pissed Thax off was that he was actually interested, only because he needed another source of pleasure. Crius sweet talked him real good after Thax rode his ass real good, so good that he can't believe he is going to see Laius about his godchildren. As he stood outside their house he got shivers, a creepy chill overcame Thax as he announced his arrival.
"Knock knock, papa Thax is here." He called out. A little bit after the door opened and he saw Caetia screaming in joy.
"Thax thax!" She jumped and grabbed his leg. Thax was taken back by the young girl completely naked, thankfully Laius had no neighbors.

"Wanna play Endless Oasis?" She let go of his hand and ran to the living room's lounge. Jumping up and down on the seat. Thax chuckled and shook his big head,
"Sorry. I er, need to see your father."
"Dad and Api are doing something, you need to wait!" She smiled and grabbed a pillow and hugged it close.
"I er, know what they are probably doing, squirt. Uncle Crius told me of what's going on so I need to see him," Caetia shook her head with a cheeky smile. Thax couldn't believe he was arguing with a 4 year old. "Papa Thax needs to see your Dad Caet and he doesn't want to get angry." Caetia with a smile pointed to a hallway.
"Daddy's room!" Thax thanked Caetia and gave her a thumbs up to her as he walked down to Laius's room. He opened the door to see Apius lying on the bed with Laius cleaning himself off.
"Hey Laius." Thax said with a strong deep pan." Laius turned around in a panic and hid his face behind a pillow. They locked eyes, one of fear and grief, one with sternness and concern. "Crius wasn't kidding. I didn't know you were a pedophile Laius." Laius didn't respond trying to keep himself in control.
"Hey papa Thax." Apius rolled over and waved with a tired look. Thax looked over and nodded back at Apius to only look back to Laius. Laius stood up with a hunch and holding back tears.
"I'm sorry Thax, I'm such a disappointment I know. I ju-"
"Look kid I know why, Crius told me a lot." Laius still couldn't believe Crius told someone, worse Thax. "I'm concerned about ya, frankly. I don't condone this. But you see I am desperate myself. I can see why you resorted to this." Thax paused for a bit to peer around the room, "Frankly I still can't believe this. But I want to give you a break, ONLY. Only because of what those bastards did to you and Alnia. This probably broke you real good boy and I'm more horrified at what it caused you to be." Laius was starting to shake with tears of dread coming out, his favourite teacher and father figure seeing and knowing what he has become broke his heart. In this one moment Laius wanted to die even more than he did before. "How are you holding up, Apius?"
"I'm getting use to it, I do this for Dad." Apius sat up and with a tired smile looking at Thax. "I don't like it, but I know it makes Dad happy."
"I do I do!" Caetia yelled across the house, her voice so loud that it sounded like she was in the same room. Thax approached Laius and grabbed his head with both hands, Laius did not fight back. He was accepting his fate, seeing his life flash before his eyes. Even though it was all misted from the tears. But Thax just pressed his face to Laius, not crushing or breaking Laius's head and neck like he thought would happen. Laius kept crying.
"Looks Laius. I really don't condone this, but I think I understand just enough. Just know what you are doing is seriously fucked up and destroying your kid's lives. I've been in war and on the front lines and seen far more actual horror I've seen plenty of psychological damage. You know what your kids will turn out like?" Laius murmured a affirmed yes back. "Then everything that goes wrong from the point you started this is your fault. You realise this?" Laius wept and affirmed back.
"You're not going to kill my Dad, are you papa Thax?" Apius spoke out of concern. Thax still holding Laius's head held him away a bit to turn to Apius.
"No. I can't." He turned and faced Laius once more. "I'm too old to be put in prison and don't care to meet those I locked up. But I just want to make sure your Dad is fully aware what a bad turian he is."
"He knows. We all know." Apius looked down with a frown, Thax looked over. "I really don't like it Papa Thax. But what people do to me somehow makes them happy. It doesn't make me happy but I do feel glad when I make others happy. I don't want to lose my Dad, even though he does weird things to me. I know he loves me." Laius broke down in full tears in Thax's big hands. Thax let go of Laius's head and paced slowly in the room as Laius went over to hug his son close.
"I hate that I'm asking for this. Because I need something as well." Thax turned his back to hide his shame and to collect his thoughts. "I really need someone else to fuck. I don't care who I get to fuck." He faced the two once more, "If I fuck you Laius I am NOT going to hold back. I will make your butt bleed more than likely, Crius is use to it but I know you aren't." He looked away once more, "Or I can fuck your son, and see what's to enjoy."
Laius didn't know what to say, he looked at Apius and didn't want to keep giving his son to sexual advances. Apius placed his hand on his father's face to wipe away his tears.
"I don't want to, but you can play with me Papa Thax. My butt still aches but I took some pain killers,"
"No Apius!" Laius hugged his son to only have Apius push him away.
"Don't!" Apius wasn't in the mood for this to go on any longer. "Is that alright Papa Thax?" Laius covered his own mouth and shook his head in a suffering manner. Thax put his hand on Laius's shoulder.
"Remember you started this. I'm sorry kid, I really need something right now. I'll be gentle but vigorous, ok squirt?" Apius nodded back not smiling nor frowning. As the two went on Laius just stared at a wall, unable to look at his son. He heard no crying, no yelling, no yips of pain. But his heart was cold, empty. Sound did not register to him as he sat facing a wall. Before he knew two arms wrapped around him, Apius solemnly stood behind him.
"I'm so, so sorry Apius. I'm a monster and you know it. We all know it." Laius wept. Apius didn't respond but hugged his Dad more. Thax sat on the bed aftersex and stared at a different wall. "Boy." Commanded Thax, "Sit up here with me, now." Laius stood up and sat next to Thax. Thax didn't say anything for a while but put an arm around Laius pulling him close. "Did I fail you?" asked Thax. Laius shook his head, Thax could feel the back of Laius's head rub against his arm. "I feel like I did. I should have been there for you more. I should have done something more."
"You were one of the only people who gave a shit, Thax. I failed you." Laius feeling dry of tears but his voice still shaky.
"Then, we have a problem. Because we both failed." He paused to look away once more, "I um. I'm not feeling too proud in myself and er. Well I can see why you do what you do. I don't condone it still. Rather in fact I want to scorn you." Lauis breathed heavily and shakily, "But that's because I hate that I liked it. I wish I didn't, you by the looks of it seem the be the same way." Laius closed his eyes and nodded trying to keep his breathing under control. "You can answer me, boy."
"I wish I was dead. But I can't leave them. I still have a job to do."
"What, fucking them?"
"No!" Thax held his breath and sighed. "Sorry, that was a bad joke."
"None of this is a joke. I try to put on a happy face so often for my kids and I always know what a horrible monster I am."
"Stop. Beating. Yourself. Fucking hell." Thax slapped Laius with his arm still around him. "You ARE what you ARE. But you DO what you NEED and HAVE to DO. You are a pedophile whether you want to be or not at this current stage. My opinion has dropped but I can't speak for myself because I just got myself involved. I just want you to promise me one thing, you got me?" Laius turned his head to face Thax looking at him intensely. "Don't become any more of a monster. Thax walked down the hallway with Laius, he waved to Apius and Caetia along the way. As he left he kept thinking to himself about what happened. He tried his best to consult Laius but also trying to not want to rip his head off. But he knew deep down he and him aren't so different anymore. They were both desperate, lonely, and now a potential felon. Laius sat with his kids in the living room still in perpetual shock and shame. But he engaged with his Daughter as much as he could. He took her to bed and went back to Apius who was just watching some videos. Laius sat down nearby and looked to his son. Apius and Laius stared at each other for a bit until Laius spoke.
"Apius. I'm not a good person, we know that. You are a good boy, we know that." Apius nodded. "I can keep saying sorry all my life, but I want you to remember something as if it's the most important thing in the galaxy." He paused to take a deep breath. You are important. You are a beautiful soul. You will always have value. Never doubt yourself. Say no when you mean no. Stand up for yourself, even against me your father. Don't just do things for me, even if I suffer so. Because you and Caetia are more important than me."
"I know." Apius replied, trying to change the topic.
"Apius please." Laius begged to his son. "Please take this all to heart."
"Dad I'm tired and sore. I understand and I just want to watch TV by myself." Laius shifted in his son's tired and unfeeling response. His heart keeps breaking even more and more as it goes on. As he got up to leave Apius spoke up, "You can stay if you want."
"But you said you wanted to watch it by yourself?" Apius didn't move and kept looking at the screen.
"I changed my mind. Can I have some soft drink and icecream?" Laius wiped his tears away again for the hundredth time and to only cry afterwards.
"Apius. I'd give the whole world for you. I just," He paused to cry once more. "I wish I wasn't a monster."
"Dad you showed me those vids before. You're not like them. You're like a good monster, but you're still a monster."
"A good monster that you need to keep under control Apius. I'll get you your soft drink and icecream."
"Dad I wish you could keep yourself under control." Apius looked over at his Dad as he got up. Laius nodded and looked away.
"I will try, son." Later on Laius gave what Apius asked and a little extra on top. "Here Apius, your icecream and lemon soda." Apius smiled as he received his snacks and then saw a necklace in his father's hand. It was his mother's.
"That's mums!" Apius said nearly spilling his drink. Laius nodded and took upon a serious face.
"Apius, I meant everything I said before. You and Caetia are the most important things out of the entire universe and galaxies that I've seen. I want you to have your Mum's necklace. To help me remind myself that you are important. For me to respect you and love you. I'm breaking up inside every time I use or hurt you that I can't begin to describe. With your mother's necklace I want you to promise me to stand up for yourself, say no when you mean no and remember that you are important and valuable." He passed over his deceased wife's necklace to Apius only now starting to cry.
"Really?" Apius was shocked, he really didn't know what was going on. Why his Dad was even more sad than normal.
"Yes of course! I need you to always remember this. For in the future my actions will have long lasting effects if they haven't already happened. And if there is one thing I want you to positively remember me by is that I care about you. You aren't my plaything. You are my son. Your Mum would be proud to have you wear it, I wish I gave it to you sooner. To keep your Mum close to your heart. Even me if you ever have space or love for me."
"Dad! I love you, but you are being really weird. All I wanted was icecream and a softdrink." He held his mother's necklace in his hands and looked at it. He turned to his Dad, trying to figure out what is going on but decided to wear it. "You'll always be in my heart Dad, you, Caetia and Mum."
"I'm glad." Laius sat down next to Apius as the two enjoyed the video on the screen. But Laius knew deep down that his son will change his mind someday. he just hopes he can do more good than bad before then. "Oh, and I won't be getting you to do anything for me for a month."
"A month? Really?" Apius in shock and joy.
"I've put you through too much, your Dad is very upset at himself. That's why he is being so weird. He wants to make up for everything. Somehow, someway." Apius hugged his Dad to make him feel better, but strangely not feeling the desire to hug at all.
