Dipper sits, looks around again, and when he’s sure no one is looking at him, he opens the book, on the other side of the covers, he sees a monocle, he turns the page, where he sees written:\n\n“June 18,\nIt’s hard to believe it’s been six years since I began searching the strange and wondrous secrets of Gravity Falls, Oregon.\n\nIn all my travels, never have I observed as many curious things! They see the shack, but then, Dipper goes over a rock, that pokes one of the wheels of the cart, making him lose control, the cart drifts, it falls over his right side, trailing until it stops near the shack. Dipper and Pacifica comes out unharmed, but then a big shadow covers them, and they see the giant gnome – Stay back, man! – Dipper launched him the shovel, but the gnome crushes it against the floor with his giant first, and both siblings hug each other – Where is Gruncle Stan? – Pacifica ask. TOURIST TRAPPED AU (Part 2 of 2)



Out, in the windy forest, Dipper has nailed one of the signs that says “AMAZING” – Well done Manson, if she didn’t hate you before, she surely does it now, but is not like I just can tell her that I feel attracted to her as a woman, what kind of brother wants to bang his sister? – He hammers up another sign that say “The Mystery Shack”, and moves to the next tree – But I have to do something, because even if our parents decide to go back together, I’ll lose her forever – Dipper places a nail on the trunk of a tree, and rise the hammer – Why can’t I speak to her like a man?! – He hits hard the nail, with the hit, a clank is heard from the tree, the hammer goes out of Dipper’s hand, passing through a bush, scaring the goat, who jumps over the bush – Huh? – Dipper place his ear on the trunk, and hit the tree with his knuckle, making the tree clanks again – A metal tree?

Dipper examines the trunk with his fingers, when he feels something, he feels a crack on the trunk, he uses both hands to pull it, opening a wooden door that makes a rusty sound while he opens it, inside a hidden compartment, he sees what appears to be a very old radio spectrogram, over a lay of hay, covered in dust and spider webs, after looking around to be sure no one is watching him, he moves a couple of switches on the radio, behind him, near the goat, a hidden door opens, he hears the goat bleating before it runs away, Dipper turns to see the door, inside, he sees an old book covered in dust, parts of his cover are tearing apart, he blows to the cover to remove the dust, revealing the image of a golden left hand with six fingers, and a big black number 3 on it. Dipper sits, looks around again, and when he’s sure no one is looking at him, he opens the book, on the other side of the covers, he sees a monocle, he turns the page, where he sees written:

It’s hard to believe it’s been six years since I began searching the strange and wondrous secrets of Gravity Falls, Oregon.

In all my travels, never have I observed as many curious things! Gravity Falls is indeed a geographical oddity”

Dipper turns the page, in each one of them are registered strange creatures, phenomena, and even rituals, the he stops on other page that says:

-Wow, what is this? – Dipper stands up, closing the book, placing it under his left arm, he goes back to the radio, moves the switch until he sees the hidden door closing, then closes the door on the tree, and walks away.

Moments later, Dipper approaches to the Mystery Shack, he approaches to the door, when he sees a pale tall guy, wearing a black hoodie that has the left shoulder torn, blue jeans and black sneakers, walking as if he couldn’t hold the weight of his own body, out of the shack while he looks at the inside – Then, I… eh... will see you later, um, Pacifica – says while walks slowly. Dipper open wide his eyes, and Pacifica goes out, standing in the frame of the door – I’ll see you later, Norman – says while waves her hand – Who is he? -  Dipper ask – Hm, someone who wants to spend time with me, not like someone else – says while walks inside the shack, Dipper follows her without take his eyes out of Norman, but then, the door slams before Dipper can go inside, startling him.

In the attic, Dipper sits next the window, reading the journal he just found, then he stops in a page that says “The Undead creature #6”, with a hand draw of a creature that looks similar to Norman – Hey, this looks familiar, known for their pale skin and bad attitude, these creatures are often mistaken for… TEENAGERS!... beware Gravity Falls’ nefarious, zombie? – Then he closes the book – No, this journal is filling my head with weird ideas, Paci can’t be dating a zombie, right? – It’s a dilemma, to be sure – Dipper looks startled to a side, and sees Soos over a stool, changing a light bulb – Sorry, I couldn’t help but overhear you talking alone in this empty room – Soos, what do you think? am I going nuts for thinking Paci is in a date with an undead? – Look dude, I’m always noticing weird stuff in this town, like the mailman, pretty sure that dude is a werewolf, but before any conclusion, you gotta have evidence, otherwise, people are gonna think you’re a major league cuckoo clock. – Dipper stands up, and walks to Soos – As always, Soos, you’re right – My wisdom is both a blessing and a curse, also dude, you should try to fix the things with your sister, maybe you haven’t noticed it, but you’re really hurting her – and Dipper looks down, sad.

Moments later, Dipper, holding a portable record camera, is following Pacifica and Norman. On a mini golf field, he records how Pacifica is analyzing how to make a shot that passes through three water cannons that shots a stream of water one after the other, to make the ball be carried on a basket on the spinning blades of a mill, and be launched towards the hole; Pacifica makes her shot, passing the ball in front of the cannons just in time to avoid the streams of water, the ball rolls to end in one of the baskets of the blades, at the top of the mill, the ball is launched in direction towards the hole, but is launched so strong that ends hitting Norman on the head, falling face down on the ground, while Pacifica scratch her head, wondering how that happened.

On a community center, where a group of third agers are dancing with 1950s music, Pacifica dances doing some moves of that time, but Norman moves as if he couldn’t control his limbs, and ends moving out of scene, making crashing sounds while Pacifica looks worried, while Dipper keeps recording from behind some of the dancers.

On a graveyard, Pacifica and Norman are happily running, when Norman falls on an open grave, disappearing under the soft soil, then he takes his left arm out, and begins to go out as if were a zombie while Pacifica looks; when the upper part of Norman’s body goes out, they laugh, when suddenly three vultures descend over Norman, starting to peck him while Pacifica looks worried, and from behind a tombstone, Dipper lows his camera with a serious look – I’ve seen enough.

Back at the attic of the Mystery Shack, Pacifica is in front of a mirror as big as her, brushing her hair, when suddenly, Dipper comes in, slamming the door, making Pacifica looks at him – Paci, we need to talk about Norman – Ho, now you want to talk to me? – and turns back again to the mirror – I though you wanted to stay away from me – No, look, I’m trying to tell you that Norman is not what he seems – and takes out the journal, Pacifica looks the reflection of Dipper on the mirror, and turns to him, aiming to the journal with her comb – What is that old book? – I found it in a hidden compartment while I was placing the signs – and starts to turn the pages – It says that Gravity Falls has a secret dark side – Uh huh, and why do you believe that what that book says is true? – Because nobody hides something unimportant in the intricate way this was, and look, the pages suddenly stop, whoever wrote this, mysteriously disappeared – Ok, and how Norman fits in all this? – Because Norman is really, THIS! – And shows her a page that shoes a draw and info of Gnomes – Eh, Norman is too tall to be a gnome – What? no, I wanted to say – and Dipper turns more pages, until stops on the page of the undead – This! – Pacifica approaches, and reads the info - A zombie? that was not funny, anyway, I have another date with Norman – Pacifica walks to the door, but Dipper holds her from the shoulders, giving her a shake – Paci, he’s gonna eat your brains!

She looks at Dipper angry, and pushes his arms away – DIPPER, PLEASE STOP!, you have no idea how have been my life here since dad brought me, I live like a princess secluded in a guarded tower, I have a lot of amenities, but I barely go out!, I only leave the mansion when there are important celebrations, and just to reaffirm the presence of the Northwests in Gravity Falls – tears start to appear on from her eyes, making Dipper looks at her stunned – The reason why we are staying in the shack is because I decided to disobey dad, and asked Gruncle Stan to allow us to stay here during summer, the past hours have been the most freedom I have had in a long time, and until yesterday, I knew nobody in town except for Gruncle Stan, and when mom and dad told me that you were going to come, you can’t imagine how happy that made me, because I could spend all these days in company of who has been the most important person in my life, I… I just wanted to be with you, but you are making me to a side – she says the last word in a cut tone, that makes Dipper down his head ashamed, while Pacifica places her right hand on the side of her head – And you know the worst part? =sob= is that I don’t even know why you are doing it, did… did I do something to you to deserve that kind of treatment? You’re avoiding to give me any reason, and that’s killing me, is really killing me! Dipper then hears the sound of a motor, when he looks at his left, he sees Wendy, arriving on a golf cart and runs to her – Wendy! Wendy! – Wendy looks at him and he stops – IneedtoborrowthegolfcartsoIcansavemysisterfromazombie! – Wendy looks at him for a couple of second, then smiles, and gives the keys of the cart to Dipper – Try not to hit any pedestrians – She says before to walk to the shack. The gnome grabs a tree, and launches it, the tree falls behind the cart, touching it enough to make it go fly, when the cart lands, Dipper is having problems to handle it, driving to the edge of a cliff, jumping over it, passing through the Gravity Falls sign that Dipper saw on the road, but the cart lands safe. Dipper sees the signals he hammered, showing the route to the Mystery Shack, he drives Dipper following them. They see the shack, but then, Dipper goes over a rock, that pokes one of the wheels of the cart, making him lose control, the cart drifts, it falls over his right side, trailing until it stops near the shack. Dipper and Pacifica comes out unharmed, but then a big shadow covers them, and they see the giant gnome – Stay back, man! – Dipper launched him the shovel, but the gnome crushes it against the floor with his giant first, and both siblings hug each other – Where is Gruncle Stan? – Pacifica ask. Inside the shack, Stan is showing a trio of tourists a spiraling moving circle on a stick – Behold! the world’s most distracting object – the tourists wow in amaze – Just try to look away, you can’t… I can’t even remember what I was talking about.

Outside, Pacifica and Dipper walk backwards while the giant gnome approaches to them – Is the end of the line, kids – says the brown bearded gnome – Pacifica!
