Her clairvoyance and nigh instantaneous soothsaying would have made her an excellent reaper – if she wasn’t an ardent pacifist. As such, she cloistered herself in a void bubble roughly the size of a city, albeit immaterial, taking it upon herself to depict the next beings the void would touch and their present, past, and future statuses with acrylic and fragments of her own amorphous nothingness. Of course, her artistry went largely unnoticed until the day a steadfast, nomadic possat entered her gallery (with minimal damage to his person thanks to his attunement). Upon discovering the culture-struck representations that festooned the walls and ceilings (especially what looked to be himself), the possat dashed to the rubenesque artisan’s side - dribbling compliments before posing the question of whether he could take one of the painting for himself and what sort of reimbursement she’d prefer. Maiduguri glanced from her project, sneered, and returned to her strokes, “Mheshimiwa Grandville, I draw for something you of such inexperience could neither fathom nor comprehend in one lifetime. I require no material. You may take your picture, as I can always recreate it – but only on the condition that you arrive within the century to tell me its true purpose with this: ‘Give time rhythm, and you will blind all. Give time ripple, and the horizon with all of creation will bow.’ If you cannot do that, both my recreation and what you will take will disappear. Kueleweka?” It was Tahajin that would later ascribe the title to the witch doctor’s trove and hang his depiction in his office – always stopping mid-line or mid-weld to glance up at it and ponder what the austere was going on about… The ostensible answer had to be wrong and he knew for a fact that too much thought in a riddle often leads to the wrong answer as well. Several possibilities took refuge in his subconscious, but none of them sounded correct. Well, at least he had a spacious deadline to mull it over.
