Anyway, self-evaluation time.
Good stuff?....Was trying to figure out a way to shade hair and I turned out rather well on Kazie's hair. Sadly it didn't translate as well onto Jak's. Speaking of shading, i'm also rather happy with how it worked in some places but sadly it didn't work as desired in most places. Pretty damn happy with my batman undies and bandana b/c i love batman stuff and also b/c i was able to draw a graphic design and show it as moving wit the shape of the body rather than just being flat and not the way clothing would work.
Okay, what sucks?....Sadly too many things. The lighting for this picture didn't work out at al so i relied on shading to elude to the existence of some sort of lighting. Sadly that barely worked. The background was a total flop. Was meant to be a couch, that didn't happen so it became a giant graphic background...that look weird so i went to a bed that was a pan so i combined the two and this is the result. Shitty plan right? Gotta work on backgrounds. What really got me though was trying to get all the wrinkles and showing the shadows of the characters as following the wrangles of the couch/bed. That was really what got me. Aside form that, just some little things like my hand looks weird. The left hand wrist is kinda small. I made myself a little heftily on accident, oh and i was kinda disproportionate and ended up with a giant bulge....was an accident at first but i like the way it treated the batman design soooo i kept it.
I'm still a work in progress ya, but i can look at this and say i tried and am somewhat happy.
also look closely at his piercings....see the poke balls? lol
