Wanted to dip a little more in digital painting for the background and shading. Wasn't great at it but i did dip my foot. Wasn't good enough to use as the background. So i also took this as an opportunity to work on using image integrations. Like sticking art and photography together and making them blend well. Did okay with this one. You'd be surprised how different the background pic and the actual photo are, especially color wise. As for shading, that also started off as a a painting thing and it had way more values and was more of a soft shade. Got way to complicated and wasn't pleased with the look so i tried cell shading. Not my greatest shading but i put my foot down and said i have to have shading and a background this time. Trying to force myself to sit through the bad pictures and learn. The facial expression....thats a completely different story which can be summarized in saying that i need to work on drawing facial expressions. Could've done better on anatomy, especially in terms of the chest but aside from that.
