Trouble In Paradise Part 1: The Father/Son Conversation.

The Hamato family were in the dojo of the lair, sparring. 
Raph was sparring with Leo, Mikey with Donnie.

Master Splinter was checking the abilities of each of his sons. Because of there experience of the years, each of them got stronger,  physically, mentally and spiritually. Splinter was very proud of the progress they made over the years. They faced great dangers, The Shredder, Bishop, Stockman, The Battle Nexus, etc.

But Splinter wasn't expecting that his sons grew affectionately to each other. Even though it was a bit of a shock when his sons told him that they wanted to be mates  of each other, he was very happy for them. Now Michelangelo was Donatello's mate and  (you might call it a miracle) Raphael was Leonardo's mate. He was also glad that Raphael and Leonardo's fights with each other were less. They still were there, but not so intense as they used to.

But lately there was some tension between the two. He asked Donatello if it was about the mating season, but even though they weren't blood brothers,  they all had the mating season right on the same time. And according to his second youngest son it wasn't the time, it couldn't be that.

But he was worried about his two oldest sons relationship. So when there daily training session was over, he wanted to talk to Leonardo.

"Well done my sons. You all did good today, I am very proud of you all. You can be dismissed. Leonardo?" Splinter said. He saw his oldest son turn around to face him.

"Yes, master Splinter?" Leo said, turning his body to face his father and master.

“Could I speak with you for a minute, my son?” his father asked him.

“Of course, master. What about?” he answered back.

He saw Splinter looking around if the rest of the family was out of the dojo, then turned back to look him in the eyes. Leo saw the worry in his father's eyes. 'Damn, he knows. He knows about Raph and me. About our troubles. Alright, I gonna tell him, I can't hide it anymore.' 

Master Splinter looked at his son and knew that he was gonna tell him everything.

“My son, do you and Raphael have trouble with each other?” he finally asked.

Leo shifted a bit and nodded, not saying a word. He didn't need to, the nodding confirmed Splinter's thoughts. He saw the little tears in Leonardo's eyes and walked over to him. Before Leo could react or say anything, he found himself into a big hug by his father. Then Leo broke completely. He cried and sobbed into the hug and let it all out. When he got everything out Splinter released his oldest son. Leo now looked like he used to when he was little.

“Do you wanna talk about what was happened, my son?” he asked and with his paw he wiped the last tears of his sons face. Leo nodded and then told everything.
