Usually it was a servant knocking on the door to wake her and start her day, but today she just wanted to sleep in and so she did. A morning hug from the sun to gently wake you from slumber is so much more appeling than the knocking she usually woke too. \n\nKaliendra gave a yawn and a happy sigh as she saw the Sun Goddess Say'Rada warming her face and of course her kingdom. Kaliendra was a young Queen having taken the thrones shortly after becoming a women. She pulled the blankets away from her body and walked over to the window to look over the skyline of her lands. \n\nKaliendra was a very attractive female. Her whole body was a soft green, she had an athletic build with soft curves to highlight her female features. She had an ample bussom with soft pink nipples. Her tail which just barely touched the ground when she stood up, swayed side to side happily. She put her hands together and said a soft prayer of thanks to the Sun Goddess for giving them such a beautiful day. When she lifted her head her wavy blue hair was in front of her face. She moved it to the side and let it rest behind the small row of cheek spines just before her long ears. She ran her hand up over her smaller front horns before hitting the longer horns on her head.\n\nKaliendra leaned forward on the edge of her wide open window and put her hands held up her face up as she just took in the morning. Her deep brown eyes gleamed like polished amber. She stayed there for a while longer before her brain was so rude to remind her of her duty to the kingdom. She gave a sigh and pushed herself up.\nShe walked over to the door and knocked on it twice. She had hardly moved over to the cushioned seat in front of her armoire when three servants came in. One of them began to brush her hair out and get it set up while another was attaching all of her jewelry. The biggest piece was a tail decoration that was just after the tip. It was put on and the end had a dangling circlet with a small tear drop at the far end of the circle. The Last one was already showing scrolls in her face and telling her about the numbers about her land. The store rooms were getting fuller thanks to a healthier harvest than last year.\n\nThe one working on Kaliendra’s hair finished up and put a golden band to control the waves of her hair at the base of her neck and let it fall freely against her back. She held her arms out as a gold band was placed just above her biceps and another on her wrists. Lastly on her left foot an anklet of gold as well. The morning hair stylist finished up and went to a box on the dressed, she gingerly opened it up showing the royal tiara. The servant gingerly placed it on Kaliendra’s head and wiped it clean before working on Kaliendra’s horns and spines. Finally her choices of clothing was made for the day. There was three choices. She tapped her chin.\n\n[i]“Also my Queen, Lord Tiladon Blackwing, has arrived as well”[/i] The last servant explained to her, the other two servants blushed a bit as that name was spoken. Kaliendra looked up at that.\n\n[i]“How long has he been here?”[/i] She asked as she ran her hand over a two piece outfit of deep crimson with gold trimming and soft fabric bells. She decided on that one. The two who giggled at Tiladon’s name began to help her dress.\n\n[i]“A few hours.”[/i] The servant informed her.\n\n[i]“Why was I not woken?”[/i] She sighed not having liked that he had been just sitting around for hours while she slept.\n\n[i]“He forbid us from waking you, he said and I quote. ‘Let her sleep, I have nothing but time right now’ those were his exact words my Queen.”[/i] The servant gave a soft bow.\n\n[i]“Still just as cheeky as ever Tiladon huh?”[/i] Kaliendra asked herself. [i]“Fine, do we know where he is now?”[/i]\n\n[i]“He is sparring on the training grounds!”[/i] One of the dressers blurted out. The others gave a glare.\n\n[i]“Been enjoying the show then?”[/i] Kaliendra asked that one.\n\n[i]“He is an impressive fighter!”[/i] the servant blushed.\n\n[i]“Do you know his story?”[/i] Kaliendra asked the servant who shook her head. [i]“He was a bad prince when he was young, so his parents banished him to wander all four of the Kingdoms of his lands. On that journey it took him seven long years. It is said he made a deal with Death, no one knows for certain but they said he does not fight, as much as he dances with the one he made that deal with. Thus his nick name of The Shadow Dancer. You should read up on him if you are getting giddy just watching him.”[/i] Kaliendra told her as she was now fully dressed in her chosen outfit. Her belly visible with a twisted cloth top to hold her breasts in place while a pair of small shorts accompanied by a calf length loin cloth was her clothes.\n\n[i]“How do you know so much about him?”[/i] One asked her.\n\n[i]“It is my job, I have to know all about those to whom I may be trading with or working with, thank you girls I know how to get to the training grounds.”[/i] Kaliendra said. Kaliendra made her way through her home; the wide open windows allowed the soft breeze of her land to cool the air inside. With her land always hot and usually pretty dry the open build style was made for optimal wind circulation.\n\nIt took her a bit before she was at the large opening with stairs that lead down where a circle of her castle guard were gathered around a white sand circle. She made her way down and when the guards saw who it was they cleared a path for her to get the front row spot. Kaliendra crossed her arms as she watched. Three guards were trying to encircle the dragon in the center.\nTiladon Blackwing, A dragon of earth and fire stood there, his copper hide was void of scales, but he stood out thanks to the pitch black color of his wings, horns and spines. His deep red eyes looked around and kept an eye on everyone. His mouth was open and his rows of teeth could be seen and fire licked his lips as he breathed. His wings were softly spread just enough to make him look bigger. His 6 foot tail softly wagged. \n\nShe could see the metal gauntlet on his right arm from his shoulder to his finger tip said to hide something but no one knew what. Kaliendra shook her head [i]“Males...”[/i] was all she could say as she watch. The three yelled out and charged him. Tiladon ducked and weaved his way out of the center of them. His tail wrapped around the foot of one and flipped him over. The other two punched and kicked at him. Tiladon blocked and deflected the blows to the side to make an opening before a kick from the dragon knocked one on his rear. The last one went for a punch to his face. Tiladon grabbed his arm and twisted his own body around before the guard yelped in pain and then was on his back as Tiladon finished his flip and landed on his feet. The guards all clapped as it was over. Tiladon helped his partners to their feet and thanked them for the fight.\n\n[i]“Are you done showing of there Lord Blackwing?”[/i] Kaliendra asked. Tiladon turned and gave a smile. Kaliendra let a smile come across her lips as well.\n\nThe guards all bowed to their Queen and Tiladon gave a soft bow from the waist. She returned it to him.\n\n[i]“A pleasure to see you Queen Kaliendra, I was just killing a bit of time while you finished getting your rest. I must say I am quite impressed by the guards you have here; all are very dedicated to their cause and are excellent fighters. It would take quite a bit to get through them.”[/i] Tiladon said, Kaliendra’s eyes looked around and she saw the chests of her guards swell with pride at the praise.\n\n[i]“They are very good at what they do and I am blessed to have such loyal guards”[/i] She added on the praise, she was certain that if there was any more pride in their chests they would just burst out. [i]“Come Lord Blackwing, I am sure you could use some food after your morning bout and I have not eaten either.”[/i] She told him and turned to walk on off. Tiladon thanked the guards one more time before putting a skip in his step to catch up with her.\n\nThey reached the top of the stairs. [i]“You need to stop showing off.”[/i] She told him.\n\n[i]“Oh come now Kaliendra just have a bit of fun.”[/i] Tiladon said.\n\n[i]“You have been here for three hours, and already you got half my females servants ready to drop their robes for you and my guards are all gonna brag about their fight with a dragon if you keep this up you are gonna make quite the stir around here.”[/i] She told him.\n\n[i]“I think you are just stroking my ego at this point.”[/i] He chuckled.\n\n[i]“Oh please! My archways are wide open and I got a feeling you left some of your ego outside because it could not fit.”[/i] She laughed. Tiladon joined her in the laugh before they finally lost the formality and gave each other a hug. [i]“It is good to see you.”[/i] She hummed softly.\n\n[i]“You as well Kaliendra. So how was your beauty sleep? Because it seemed to do you more than enough justice.”[/i] Tiladon said and made a small hook with his arm. Kaliendra slipped her arm through it and hung on him a bit as she guided him.\n\n[i]“It was nice though next time please have them wake me up, we have things to do you know”[/i] She told him as they walked through a wide open garden with an assortment of plants and flowers.\n\n[i]“Business as usual with you, there is still plenty of time to care of all that boring stuff”[/i] Tiladon said stopping to smell a bright pink flower which made him churr deep in his chest. Tiladon opened his eyes and out of the corner he saw a young set of eyes peeking around the corner at him. He grinned as he plucked the flower off the stem. The two of them kept walking, Tiladon stopped and squatted down and offered it to the young girl who had been spying on them. She blushed before Tiladon slipped it into her hair. She giggled and gave him a soft hug before running off. Kaliendra gave a sigh and shook her head.
