As I stood on the edge of the Dragon lands, a place of rocks, cliffs and lava, but overall pretty grey really, I realised that it was not an interesting place at first glance for sure, but hoped that its residents would make up for it.\n\nTwilight had made sure that I would be greeted by the Dragon Lord herself, as the trek to her Volcano of residence would prove to be an audacious journey…I just didn’t think she was actually going to be this small…Good thing I said that in my head, because she had a mean stare.\n\nBefore I could even say hello, she told me to halt and explained that Changelings and Dragons have a less than stellar history together, and if not for Twilight, would not have even let me set foot on her lands. With lips tightly sealed, I asked if she knew what my purpose here was for then. She replied that she knew exactly what I did in the past, and that if I wanted her Dragons to even consider diplomatic relations with Changelings, I would have to help her subjects with a problem that I could use my expertise in.\n\nNodding my understanding of her words, we took advantage of our flight capabilities and had an aerial tour of the Dragon lands. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but to me, it really looked like just a bunch of rocks. Given the close proximity of the volcano, I shouldn’t have been surprised, but the lack of any familiar greens was a low point for me. Luckily, I didn’t need to ponder on such thoughts for long, as loud roars pierced through the air, messing with our flight patterns and forcing us to land quickly.\nI asked what those roars were, to which Ember bluntly replied it was likely one of the ‘large as a building’ mating pairs doing ‘the deed’ before the mating season ended today.
