Alisa had lost track of time since she had gotten separated from her squad, wandering this once-inhabited wasteland in the hopes of making it back to the Far East Branch. What little rations that she'd shipped out with had been consumed during that time. If she didn't find food and water soon, she'd surely perish. Worse yet, her God Arc had gone without \"eating\" for all that time. There was no telling what would happen if it suddenly turned its appetite on her. She huffed in frustration and ran a hand over the side of her hip. Was it really going to end like this for her? A pitiful death, and not even at the hands of an Aragami; the monsters that had taken her parents from her.\n\n\tAlisa's body was numb from fatigue. So numb in fact that any tingling sensations or pain that the God Arc may have caused when it began to make its voracious intentions known, went unnoticed by the Private. Only drawing attention when her arms began to exhibit signs of physical change. Shifting violently and sporadically to rearrange her hands and arms into a bestial configuration.The offending God Arc popped off of Alisa's wrist, so as to make way for bulky gauntlet-like forearms. The girl screamed as she looked over the golden claws that her hands now sported, flailing them with enough force to dislodge her Glengarry from her head.\n\n'No, it's happening! It's consuming me!'\n\n\tRealizing that the God Arc had turned itself on its master came less as a shock and more of a horrifying realization for Alisa. She was becoming the very thing that had taken her family and so many others away, the very thing that she despised above all else! She squirmed about, both because of the shifting of toes and feet within her boots, and the feeling of revoltion of being in her own body, knowing that it was slowly being transformed into a monster's. All she could do now was try to ignore it and find peace. To ignore every gut-wrenching sensation the transformation bestowed upon her flesh while it twisted and contorted her form. Unfortunately, it was not that easy. Searing pain spread through her delicate upper body, spurning plated growths that resembled pauldrons to emerge from her smooth shoulders. They were adorned with an elegant combination of white and gold trim, large and noteworthy. So large that they'd have smacked Alisa in the chin, had she not leaned her head forward. She staggered a bit, feeling off balance from further changes to her cranium, similar heavy plates traversing and elongating her neck.\n\n\tAlmost as if they could tell she was becoming top-heavy, the Aragami cells directed the girl's legs to shift and enlarge to accomodate the new anatomy. The bottoms of the high boots were ripped apart as a consequence of emerging talons and growing thighs, a combination that saw Alisa's skirt and boots pull tight against her frame. The whole process was nothing but sheer terror and agony, with no sign of stopping. More anguish struck, involuntarily causing the God Eater to double over in pain; she felt an agonizing pressure at her back, a bulge that slowly pulled her skimpy top away from her swelling breasts. The top strained a bit more until it violently shredded into pieces, baring a large pair of ornament-like appendages on her back. Gold trimmed plates, and spikes harder than diamond complemented the new organs. Alisa tried to tell herself that this wasn't real, that it was a fatigue-induced hallucination, or a nightmare, or even the result of guilt over her dead parents, but she couldn't deny it; every change was slowly adding together to remove the fact that she had ever been human. Lamentation took hold in unison with pain, sorrow and frustration. Wide-eyed she felt the Aragami cells erase what little of her face that was still even remotely human.\n\n\tA vague snout with mildly sharper teeth was pushed into a full fledged muzzle lined with deadly razors. Only innocent blue eyes remained, hidden under plated horns and crowns. And the last vestige of her human origins fell to the ground together with locks of pink hair. She hunched over, feeling a sudden urge to let herself embrace being on all fours. She fought it on the inside, summoning all the rage and hatred for the Aragami that she had, to win the mental struggle.\n\n\"You took my parents from me, y-you won't take me as well!\"\n\n\tShe found the sentence hard to enunciate, overtoning most of it with snarls and growls, beginning to lose the battle.
