It had been three years since she'd first met him.\n\n\tAlexis Rhodes walked through the underbrush of Duel Academy Island's forest. Thoughts shifting to Jaden, and the last time she had seen him. They had been through so much in those few years, to the point of almost losing each other as friends. But each of them had learned to pull together and come out a better person for it. And yet, Alexis still was too much of a coward to tell Jaden that she loved him.\n\n\"Ironic, isn't it? After everything that has happened to me. After everything I've overcome, I still can't tell him how I feel.\"\n\n\tSuch indecision frustrated her greatly. Why was it so hard to profess her love for Jaden? Could it be that she was afraid he would reject her? The very notion of it was absurd. Why would he turn her away. They were already true and good friends, what was so scary about taking it to the next level? And even if Jaden didn't return such feelings, at least they would still be friends, right? The question looped over and over in Alexis' mind, distracting the girl from a large form in the sky.\n\n'You should not have to live in fear of this decision. You've already proved your loyalty to him. Such a thing is hard to find in a person. You two deserve to be together, loyal partners, and friends to the end.' The dragon was magnificent, gliding through the clouds; the scene so inspiring as to give Alexis the courage she needed. Now realizing the path before her, Obelisk Blue's Queen couldn't wait to find the one she loved, and bare all to him. This would be the happiest day of her life! But such feelings had unknowingly opened a door within Alexis, which would allow Anzu to recruit her.\n\n\tThe Blue-Eyes White Dragoness channeled Dartz' power through herself and into the unsuspecting Duelist below.\n\tThe energies went to work immediately, manifesting via scaly patterning on Alexis' complexion. She itched herself, then withdrew her hand the moment it made contact with the facial scales.\n\n'Probably just got some dirt on your face.' Though the shakey mental self-assurance, crumbled into full-blown panic when she tried to rub it off. Only to feel that her nose had grown longer. Alexis' eyes went wide in shock, unable to make sense of what was occuring. That same itchy feeling moved around to behind her head. This time she could clearly feel the hair being parted by a set of growths. They apexed up from the cheeks, where they had formed, and curved upwards like scythes. The neck managed to adjust itself to her larger head by broadening, somewhat. A mixture of vibrant red, and tan scales, spread down its length. Terrified screams jumped past her longer tongue, also revealing the sharpened teeth. With a majority of the previous human facial features erased, additional changes ravaged other parts of her body. Namely the shoulders and chest, the former developing spikey pauldrons. While the latter recieved a covering of heavy plates, down to the hips. With them also saw the first pieces of clothing to be destroyed.\n\n\tAlexis screamed again, more in surprise over the sudden destruction of her uniform's collar. But it was easily the least of concerns at the moment. Especially with the scales overtaking and reforming the upper limbs.\n\n'Give into it, embrace what you're becoming! You've already proven that you're better than everyone else, now all others will see your superiority!'\n\n\"No!\" A yell of protest marked the beginning of Alexis' darker thoughts coming to the surface. And this time, much to her horror. The mental voice, was her own.\n\n\tA surge of growth, accompanied with the reforming of fingers into three talons, also shredded her gloves. And forced the already high-cut skirt to slide up a bit.\n\n'Clothes will be useless for you. Tear them away, and be free of your humanity.' Alexis closed her eyes, cringing. She tried in vain to fight against the beastial thoughts. Unwillingly, a hand shakily moved towards the Obelisk Blue uniform. With a slow-but-steady ripping sound, it tore away, leaving the poorly fitting undershirt. Each breath she took, now felt like a fight in itself and it was only getting harder to resist from there.\n\n\tJust forming a simple sentence was becoming a monumental task. Made no easier by the pressing of a tail against her skirt, or the increasing bulk of the thighs and legs. Standing as she used to was becoming exceptionally unpleasant as well. But a moment of relief came when the Duelist Shoes exploded into a tatter of destroyed leather. Finally able to balance somewhat better, Alexis shifted her body's weight onto the altered toes. Such a stance helped to offset the lengthening neck, and give a degree of much needed stability. She could feel herself slipping further, mentally. While nothing remained of Alexis, physically. Not even the hair. The blonde locks had fallen away to reveal two more crested horns and a set of overlapping cranial plates. She grabbed at her head in torment, feeling a slight pressure at the center. Slowly, a horn emerged, bluish energies marking its appearance. A sudden compulsion to remove the clothes overtook her.\n\n\tHead and neck snaked down towards the skirt, which was still trying to cover what little modesty she had left.\n\n'Tear them away!' Doing as the feral thoughts commanded, she sunk her razor teeth into the skirt and gave a vicious tug. It tore away with a rip, soon followed by two more from Alexis using her hands to remove the undershirt and panties.\n\n\"I......can't.....don't want to, fight it.\" Alexis' words devolved into a series of feral snarls and growls, indicating the rewriting of her human mindset.\n\n\tOne last surge of growth overtook the dragoness' form, adding more overall bulk. She tossed her useless clothing away, and embraced the sensation of wings emerging. The newest loyal servant took in the world through slitted yellow eyes and roared.
