"description": "[center]p o s t y b i r b\n[url=https://files.catbox.moe/u6y2l0.jpg]Full size here![/url][/center]\n-----\nHatched under the sign of the Shadow but so far deep in the marshes and swamps that it took a few years for him to be properly located and taken for training, Menth'ae was whisked away off to what was meant to be a remote location for his inevitable training as a Shadowscale. Somehow along the way he was lost; the (then extremely young) Argonian spending several days in the wilderness before being found by both a blacksmith and fighters guild couple; both men raising him like their son and all three of them oblivious as to how he arrived there. While he learned basic self-defense from his Cyrodilic/Imperial Father(dad), he took more to smithing much like his Orc father(pa).\n\nHe intended on getting into shipbuilding, hoping that both his blacksmith knowledge and his ability to breathe underwater would make him appealing enough to train. Unfortunately the Family (Dark Brotherhood) had located him just a few weeks before. As there were less and less Shadowscales available due to the deterioration of the order as a whole, it was decided to reintroduce him to the Family with the intention of training him to be an Assassin. People were bribed, others were blackmailed... and as soon as Menth'ae stepped into the Imperial city he was arrested in the spot with made-up charges. Once in the cell, a member of the Dark Brotherhood told him that he could either join them or both he and his 'parents' would be killed. Recognizing the voice as one of the people who whisked him away from the Marsh in the first place, the Argonian decides to play along to learn more -- as well as to save the lives of his parents.\n\nWhile it was intended that he murder the fellow across from his cell, Menth'ae ended up once again getting whisked away by the Emperor whom entrusted him with the amulet. Deciding that they would be better off observing him for now, he's been unknowingly under their 'protection' as they consider his bumbling along the countryside to be sufficient training. At some point however they will call again and occasionally leave vaguely cryptic messages for him in places he would least expect; one assassin going as far as managing to edge a small scroll up one of his nostrils while he was incapacitated after a night of drinking... \n\nWhy? Bragging rights, mostly. In the end however they -are- still the Dark Brotherhood and he has found messages on corpses -- both in letter and carved literally in the corpse's skin -- as well as writing in several different species' blood. As Menth'ae's reputation grew, he began taking on more and more quests that put him directly up against these assassins all of whom take great pleasure in dunking on his ass and leaving him in the dust in some embarrassing fashion; giving him the uncomfortable sensation of being picked on by a bunch of particularly murderous brothers and sisters.\n\nHe's also chronically broke as his massive body sculpted by years of smithing, swimming, logging and now adventuring requires huge quantities of food. Standing at 247cm (8 ft 1 in) and weighing in close to 320 kg (700 lbs), it seems almost insane that this massive lizard has the ability to shroud himself yet he somehow carries himself with feet so light and silent that you'd swear he was using some other form of magic or alchemy to silence his steps. Despite this however he's still on the clumsy side, his massive body often getting stuck or bumping into things and knocking them over. Additionally his aim is pretty awful and anything requiring dexterity (such as lockpicking) often leaves him mumbling and cursing under his breath.\n\nIt isn't seen here but due to his massive... parts ... he has quite the masculine odor -- so much so that he was given a ring (for your finger!) that was enchanted with a spell specifically created to subdue his stench and even it can't fully suppress the potent and pervasive musk he chronically emits. Thankfully it functions well enough to prevent him from getting caught but it's a good idea to stay out of range when he lifts his arms.\n\nDue to the fact that he was fluent in Jel, he struggles with both the standard perception of time as well as both speaking to fellow Argonians and the Ojel around him. To the Ojel he appears quiet, muted, a stone wall while to fellow Argonians his actions, emotions and tone are rough; causing those fluent to feel that he's a pretty crabby individual. Isolation from his own culture and people have resulted in him being very curious of other Argonians; often going out of his way to observe them but also being too shy to introduce himself. This usually results in those fluent in Jel feeling more than a little uneasy around him and subsequently being too nervous to interact themselves, not wishing to invoke the towering Argonian's wrath.\n\nDespite all that he's actually shy to the point of it being almost crippling and his (in-game) low personality score results in him always paying far more than he needs to while simultaneously getting the least amount of gold back for things he sells.\n\n-----\nI'm probably going to do the Thieves' guild questline first because idk, why not... and then maybe the Fighters or Mages' guild before moving onto the Brotherhood nonsense. I like to imagine that he's officially joining to help destroy them from within -- and the mission where you end them all is actually a result of this. \n\noh and also the white things along his body are just scales made out of the same material as his horns; the idea being that it doesn't grow much bigger and simulates body hair/stubble but can't be shaved off so it's just... like that.\n\nalso he has nipples because I SAID SO.",
