They see that some of the Pokemons have yellow skin, while some have gray skin with bits of red and yellow, they even see some Pokemons that look like Ruby and Blaze. As they make their way to their seats, they can hear chatter going on with the other Pokemons. Some talk about their daily life, while others are excited about getting their passes. As they continue to move through the aisle, Ruby said: \"Wow… There's sure a lot of Pokemons that want that pass.\" Blaze then said: \"There might be more of them in different buses… Or in a different vehicle altogether.\" Ruby then said: \"If there's more, then our chances of getting that pass just got a lot harder…\" \"If only that was the case.\" Blaze said. As they continue to move down the aisle, Blaze thinks to herself: (‘But she does bring a good point. If there's more Pokemon taking part in the test, then that would mean it will be harder for us to earn those passes. While that Pokemon is similar to Ruby, but it has a teal Mohawk head crest, and green tonfa-like arms. Ruby then said: \"Yeah. When the bus finally pulls up to the stop next to the building, the bus door opens up and one by one, the humanoid Pokemons get up and leave the bus in a organize faction. As Ruby and Blaze proceeds to stand up, Ruby said: \"Here we are… Let's go and earn our passes, Blaze!\" Blaze nodded as she said: \"Right. Let's go, then.\" When they see the opening in the line-up, Ruby slide into the aisle as Blaze follow suits. They then leave the bus as they follow the other Pokemons to the field in front of the building. As the last of the Pokemons leave the bus, several agents appear from the front door and start to examine the Pokemons that are standing on the field. As the Pokemons start to feel confused about this, the agents have finished with their examinations as one of the agents said: \"Please follow us inside.\" As the agents enter the buildings, the Pokemons follow suit as they proceed to enter the building.\n\nAs they walk down the hall, Ruby proceeds to look around in the hall as she continues to walk forward. She sees that the hall is big and has images of other Pokemons as she then said to Blaze: \"I would never have imagined that the place would be so big…\" Blaze then said: \"It's probably made that way for larger Pokemons in mind.\" \"R-Right… Of course.\" Ruby said. They continue to walk down the hall as they notice a big door at the end of the hall. The agents reach for the doors and proceeds to open then. The agents then let the moving Pokemon forward into the room. When they enter the room, they saw a huge wall with a screen to their left, when they look at the right side, they see at least one hundred and forty desks, each with various sizes, on a huge stairway-like platform with two smaller stairways to the sides, they also see that most of the seats are taken by other Pokemons as it leaves only twenty seats left open. As the last of the Pokemon's enter the room, the agent then said: \"Feel free to sit anywhere you like and wait for further instructions.\" The agents then proceed to close the door as the Pokemons hear a clicking sound as with no other options, they made their way up the stairs as they can find their empty desks.\n\nRuby and Blaze manage to spot a couple of empty seats that are next to each other as they proceed to sit on them. As they're sitting on their seats and facing the wall, they turn to their sides as they see that they're sitting next to a horse-like Pokemon with flames coming out of its body and a boulder-like Pokemon with a head, claws and feet sticking out of it. As Blaze starts her breathing exercises, Ruby said: \"One hundred and forty…\" Blaze turns to Ruby as she then said: \"There are one hundred and forty Pokemons in the room. I know that there's a lot of Pokemons in the region and not all of them are taking part in the P.H.B.P thing, but I thought that there would be thousands of Pokemons taking the test, why one hundred and forty?\" Blaze then said: \"There might be multiple places where they have these testing grounds. We haven't fully explored the whole region, right?\" Ruby sighs as she said: \"I guess that's true…\" Blaze then thinks to herself: (‘She does have a good point… Why would they limit the testing grounds to a hundred and forty Pokemons? There could be more testing grounds in other areas, but wouldn't the appropriate number of Pokemons in one testing grounds to be two hundred?') She then shakes her head as she said: (‘What am I doing, the test is about to start and yet I'm losing focus on it. And then out of nowhere, a projector's light turns on and shines at the wall and reveals the images of an old man in the office-like space as the others stared at the newly made image. Ruby then turns to Blaze as she asks: \"Do you know that guy, Blaze?\" \"How should I know?\" Blaze responds as the old man on the screen said: \"Hello, my fellow Pokemons. If you are seeing this video, then you are one of many Pokemon's that understands the values of humanity. And while there is a possibility that I won't live long to see the possibility of humans and Pokemons living together, I will at least know that there are Pokemon's out there that are willing to live in a human society. While there would be people out there saying such questions such as: ‘Is breeding with a human a crime against Pokemon nature?' ‘Are you sure those Pokemons are capable of living in a human society?' And: ‘Is it even possible that those Pokemons can reproduce a human child?' But I do have faith in all of you that you will be able to coexist and live peacefully with mankind. But I'm getting ahead of myself. Behind these walls are a series of tests in each room. You will go through six rooms and face six different tests in each room. And if at any point, if you haven't moved on to the next room, then you would have failed your test. At that point, you will be required to leave the testing grounds and return to your designated homes as you figure out how you failed your test. You will get the chance to try again next week. But I must warn you in advance that there are rules to the testing grounds and if you break those rules, you will lose the right to take part in the program and be forced into the Pokeball for further judgement.\"\n\nHearing the last statement the old man on the images had just made, Ruby starts to feel scared as she said: \"Be forced into the Pokeball…\" Blaze then thinks to herself: (‘Wait… Don't tell me that's how that other Pokemon in Valentine's story did… Did it…?') As Ruby was talking, the old man in the images continues by saying: \"Now that you know the basics of how this works, I would like to announce that your test to become a civilian begins now.\" The projector's light that's projecting the image of the old man suddenly vanished as the lights in the room switches back on. Just as they were wondering about what's going on, the room suddenly shakes, which startles the Pokemons as the wall begins to pull apart. As the wall continues to pull apart, Ruby panicky said: \"W-What's going on, Blaze?!\" Blaze then panicky said: \"I-I don't know?!\" When the walls are fully pulled back, the room stops shaking as it allows the Pokemons to calm down from their anxiously. But when they look forward, they not only saw six agents there, with three agents on one side of the wall. They then look on the floor and saw one hundred and forty rows of large circles on the floor, each circle has a colour on it and are placed in seven rows of twenty.\n\n\n\n\nOne of the agents then said: \"Everyone, go and stand yourselves in the circles in front of us and line yourself up in a group of twenty per row!\" After hearing that, the Pokemons then proceeds to leave the desks as they move towards the spots on the floor. Ruby and Blaze leave their desks as well as they follow the other Pokemons in the room. While that is going on, Blaze thinks to herself: (‘What's with the rows of colours? How does standing on a colour spot have to do with getting a pass or understanding how human society works?') As they reach the bottoms of the stairs, some of the Pokemons immediately went to the different spots on the floor while some are hesitant as they are figuring out which spots that they'll stand on. Ruby and Blaze are the part of the hesitant group as Blaze is stumped on the concept of the colour spots on the floor as Blaze said: \"What do the spots have to do with human society?\" \"Not sure…\" Ruby said as she's figuring out which spot she should stand on. Ruby then snaps her fingers as she said: \"But I do believe I know which spot I should stand on.\" She then walks towards the spot in the first row as Blaze notices this as she said: \"Wait, Ruby! What are you…?\" But at that point, Ruby is already determined to stand on that spot as Blaze clenches her fist before deciding to follow Ruby to the spot in the first row.\n\nAs Ruby stands in her spot with Blaze standing on the spot behind them, Blaze look behind as she sees more of the Pokemons standing there and figuring out which spots they should take. She sighs as she turns back as she thinks to herself: (‘Why did I go and stand behind Ruby… I should've just stayed back and try to figure out the meanings behind these coloured circles… I feel like I've already failed the test before I even get the chance to start the test…') \"Hey! Watch where you going, you fat ass rock!\" said a very disgruntle male's voice. Wondering about the noise, Ruby, Blaze and the others turn to the source of the noise and saw the same rock Pokemon that was sitting next to Blaze, and a monkey-like Pokemon with the body covered with fur has boxing gloves and metal shackles on its arms and legs. The rock Pokemon turns to the monkey Pokemon as it said: \"Hey! It's not my fault your fat ass body got in the way!\" \"What did you say, you fat ass!\" The monkey Pokemon said as it pushes the rock Pokemon. This causes the agents to head towards the conflict as one of then said: \"You two! Cease this fighting!\" As the four agents hold off the two Pokemons, the two Pokemons shakes the four agents off and proceeds to clash heads against each other. Before they could land the first hit, two Pokeballs appear from the agent's hand and tosses them at the two Pokemons. When the Pokeballs hit the two Pokemons, they disappear in a beam of light as they are sucked into the Pokeballs.\n\nAs the agents pick up the two Pokeballs, the Pokemons are scared, including Ruby and Blaze as the agents head back to their positions. And then out of nowhere, the two spots that the two Pokemons were standing on was suddenly flipped over and reveal two gray circles with X's in the middle. As Ruby and Blaze notice that some of the hesitant Pokemons are heading towards the spots in a hurry, Blaze turns and notices the agent standing in front of the wall as she notices that the agents have a metal device placed on their arms. Blaze then thinks to herself: (‘What are those things… I never saw them in all of my life and I have been studying for this tests for days…') \"Blaze… Did… Did they just…\" Ruby said as she starts to panic, but Blaze then said: \"Calm down, Ruby. They were probably going to start a conflict here and they went and stop that from happening. I'm pretty sure that everything's fine.\" Ruby then starts to calm down as she takes a couple of deep breaths as she said: \"Yeah… Yeah, you're right… We should be fine as long as we don't cause any conflict.\" They then turn and see the last of the remaining hesitant Pokemons are heading towards the final opening spots.\n\n\n\n\nWith the last of the remaining Pokemons standing on the spots, the agents then proceed to move around and examine the remaining one hundred and thirty-eight Pokemons in the room. Once they are done with their examinations, they return to their positions with the exceptions of one of the agents as he moves to the front of the room and said: \"First column! Follow me to the next room, the rest of you, wait for further instructions.\" As the agent head towards the door and opens it, the Pokemon in the first row proceeds to follow the agent with the others follow suit. Ruby and Blaze also proceeds to follow the agent as Blaze thinks to herself: (‘I think I can understand the meaning behind the colour spots now… It was made like that so they can determine the order of who's entering the next room. At lease… That's what I think it is…') As they enter the door, they notice the room with twenty desks with thin walls to the sides of the desks in the room, they also see three agents in the room with two tables and a stack of papers on the left table. As the last of the Pokemons enter the room, the agent said: \"Feel free to sit anywhere you want. They'll give you the next test that you will have to face.\" As the agent leaves the room and shuts the door behind him. The Pokemons then proceeds to sit at the desks with Ruby and Blaze following suit. Once they find their seats, Blaze thinks to herself: (‘Okay, this must be the real test. It's a good thing that I've been studying for this.')\n\nBut just as Blaze was getting comfortable with the situation she's in, the agents then said: \"Now that you are here, we will be handing out your test sheets. Do not open them until we tell you to open them.\" The agents then proceed to place the test sheets on the desks, including Ruby and Blaze's desks. Just as the agents return to their positions, one of the agents then said: \"We will now provide you with the tools to help those who have no grip-able hands to hold on to the pencils. For those that have grip-able hands, you will not touch the pencils to the side of your wall until we tell you otherwise.\" The agents then grab a box and proceed to examine the desks. As Ruby and Blaze hear something being placed on the desks, the agents examine both Ruby and Blaze's desks as Blaze thinks to herself: (‘I know that they don't want anybody cheating here and while I do see some Pokemons with nothing to hold on to… But what exactly are they doing checking up on other desks with the others that can hold on to the pencil? The test hasn't even started yet…') Once the agents have finished placing the tools on those without a grip-able hand and examine those that have grip-able hands, they return to their positions as one of the agents then said: \"You will now have five minutes to complete your tests. You may now grab your pencil and open your test sheets. Your time starts now.\"\n\n\n\n\nAfter hearing that, the Pokemons then proceeds to open the test sheets, including Ruby and Blaze as they grab their pencils. But as they're ready to write the answer, Blaze reads the first question: [What is your name?] This stumps Blaze as she thinks to herself: (‘What?! What kind of question is that?! How is that any related to understanding the human society?') She shrugs it off as she answers the first question. But then she read the second question: [What is your favourite colour?] She again gets stumped. She then examines the test as she flips through the three pages in the test sheets as she discovers that the questions are rather easy and not that complicated. And as Ruby is having a rather easy time with the test sheets, Blaze thinks to herself: (‘What?! Why are the questions this easy?! I thought I was going to face questions about human society, not simple questions that anybody can answer!') As Blaze starts to feel frustrated, she then flips back to the first set of questions as she then thinks to herself: (‘Nevermind, I'll probably fail if I continue to wonder about how easy those questions are…') As Blaze continues to answer the questions while reading the next easy question, Ruby continues to write down the answers to the questions with no frustration going on in her part.\n\nAfter both Ruby and Blaze finish with their tests, Ruby waits patiently for the others to finish while Blaze just waits as she continues to wonder about how easy those questions are. As they continue to wait, Blaze looks at the agents as while the two are scanning the desks, the other agent is looking at his watch. Blaze then thinks to herself: (‘Why are these agents watching over us if the questions are easy… There has to be a reason… I'm just not seeing it right in front of my face…') As Blaze continues to wonder about the situation of this room, the agent then said: \"Times up! Stop writing on your test sheets and put down the pencil!\" As Ruby and Blaze hear the pencils either hitting the desk or landing on the floor. The agent then said: \"Now, I want all of you to go and take your test sheets over to the right side table and you will find out the results of your test.\" As the Pokemons carries their test sheets towards the tables, Ruby walks up to Blaze as she notices her frustrated expression as she said: \"Are you all right, Blaze?\" Blaze then turns to Ruby as she said: \"Yeah… Yeah, I'm all right.\" Blaze then picks up the test sheets as she stands up and follows the other Pokemons in the lane, with Ruby following suit. As they stand in line, Blaze thinks to herself: (‘What is going on with me… I need to stay calm! I need to pass this test!')\n\nAs they stand in line, they can hear the agent saying: \"Go through the door.\" The Pokemon then head through the door to their right. But after a few Pokemons goes into the door, they then heard the agent saying: \"Go and stand to the left of the room.\" As the confused Pokemon goes and stand in the room, the other Pokemons are confused as well as the line continues to move. A few more Pokemons enter the door as Ruby now faces the agents. As the agent signals Ruby to move to the table, Blaze thinks to herself: (‘Why was that Pokemon told to go and stand to the left? The questions are easy… Right…?') \"Go through the door.\" The agent said as Blaze turns and see Ruby going through the door, as she sees the agent putting Ruby's test sheet to the side, the agent then proceeds to signal Blaze to move towards the table. Blaze then moves forward toward the table and hands them her test sheets. As the agent examines her test sheets, Blaze turns around and see the other eleven Pokemons waiting in line as they wait for their test sheets to be examined. Blaze then turns back to the agent as he places Blaze's test sheets on the table as he said to her: \"Go through the door.\" Blaze then nods as she goes towards the door to the right of the agents.\n\n\n\n\nAfter going through a short hallway, Blaze goes through another door and sees a room with several chairs and couches in the room. She also sees Ruby in the room as well as six other Pokemons in the room. As Blaze walks towards Ruby, Ruby turns to Blaze as she happily said: \"Blaze, you made it.\" As Blaze sits next to Ruby, Blaze said: \"Ruby… Did your test sheet have any simple questions?\" \"Yeah, did you get those questions as well?\" Ruby asked, Blaze then said: \"Yeah… Don't you find it rather odd?\" Ruby then said: \"Odd? How so?\" Blaze then said: \"It just that… Why would they give us some incredibly easy questions and none of the questions are based on human society…\" Ruby then said: \"Really… I don't see the problem with it.\" \"Right…\" Blaze said. She then sits down as she thinks to herself: (‘What is up with Ruby… She doesn't see to be concern with things like the easy questions on the test sheets and colour spots on the floor… If she doesn't notice these, there's no way she'll ever pass these tests.') She then turns to the door and sees at least four other Pokemons entering through the door. As she sees no other Pokemons entering the room, Blaze thinks to herself: (‘How is it possible to fail the test… Ruby said that she has no problems with her questions… So why did the other six Pokemons failed?')\n\nAs they continue to wait, Blaze keeps an eye on the door and see if there are any more Pokemons heading through the door. Five minutes later, Blaze sees fifteen Pokemons heading through the door. Ten minutes later, Blaze then sees thirteen Pokemons heading through the door. Fifteen minutes later, Blaze sees seventeen Pokemons heading through the door. Twenty minutes later, Blaze sees sixteen Pokemons heading through the door. Twenty-five minutes later, Blaze sees thirteen Pokemons heading through the door. However, when thirty minutes has passed, Blaze was shocked as she sees only five Pokemons heading through the door. Blaze then thinks to herself: (‘What is going on in that room? Why did the last fifteen Pokemons fail their tests? I thought I have a theory going on… But now… I just don't know…') \"Blaze… Blaze!\" Ruby said as she tries to get Blaze's attention. Blaze turns to her as Ruby then said: \"Are you all right? You seen to be distracted.\" Blaze then said: \"It's just that… The test that we received earlier… I was wondering why is it possible that they failed the test…\" Before Ruby has the chance to say anything, they heard another door opening nearby. They turn and see a couple of agents entering the room while carrying a table and a briefcase with them.\n\n\n\n\nAs Ruby, Blaze and the other eighty-nine Pokemons in the room starred at the agents, one of the agents sets up a table in front of them as the other agent then said: \"Congrats to all of you that made it this far. Now it is time for your next test.\" With the table set up, the agent leaves the room while the other agent sets down the briefcase on the table and opens it in front of them, revealing it to be a lot of cash to the left and a stack of small papers to the right. The agent then set the briefcase to the side as he then said: \"I want all of you to go and form a line in front of the table. Each of you will receive a $100 bill and a list. You will then go through the door to the right and collect the things on that list using only the hundred dollars that you have. We'll also provide you with the tools needed for those that do not have any grip-able hands.\" As the agent comes back with the box and sets it on the table, the other agent then signals the Pokemons to form the line. This causes the Pokemons to form a line in front of the table as Ruby quickly joins the line-up while Blaze joins Ruby in the line-up. As the line continues to move forward as more and more Pokemons enters the door to the right, Blaze thinks to herself: (‘So… This will be the next test… I can imagine that I would have to go and get something from the store… In fact, I can imagine that it's quite similar to Partner when he goes out and gets the groceries. This I can understand how it fits with human society.')\n\nFeeling confident about her next test, The line continues to move forward as Ruby and Blaze see more and more Pokemons heading through the door with some of the Pokemon having some sort of belt with a holster on it. As Ruby reaches the front of the line, she receives the bill and the paper as she heads through the door to the right. Blaze then reaches the front of the line as she receives the bill and a list as she turns and walks towards the door. As she goes through the hall, she said to herself: \"Okay… What do I need to buy…\" Blaze then stares at the list as she sees that there's only one item on the list: [One Pen]. This confuses Blaze as she said: \"Wait… I have to get only one pen?\" She then thinks to herself: (‘How does getting a pen has to do with shopping? When Partner goes shopping, he often comes back with bags and bags worth of groceries. So why did they want me and all of the others to go and get a pen?') She then stares at the hundred dollar bill as she then thinks to herself: (‘And why did they give us this hundred dollar bill if they want us to get a pen? Maybe…') As she rubs her head out of frustrations, she sees the door in front of her, she then sighs as she goes through the door. As she goes through the door, she saw a bright light that blinds her as she made it to the other side of the door.\n\nAs Blaze rubs her eyes, she hears the door shut behind her as she slowly opens her eyes. When she did that, she not only see the other Pokemons in the area, but also a bunch of small buildings in the area with the gate at the other side of where she said as the sign said: [CHECK OUT] As she walks forward and takes a look at a couple of buildings, she thinks to herself: (‘Okay… Now I understand why they gave us that hundred dollar bill… They wanted us to go and see if we can go and get the items we need without being distracted by any desirables nearby. That's something I can do.') She then proceeds to walk down towards the middle path of the area as she glances to her left and to her right as she tries to find the right building for her to go in. As she continues to glance, she spots some of the Pokemons either entering different buildings or staring at the windows. She then spots Ruby glancing at the window as Blaze looks up and sees the sign saying: [GENERAL STORE]. As Blaze thinks to herself: (‘This must be the place.') She then sees Ruby entering the store as Blaze's head over to the display window as she's curious as to see what Ruby was looking at earlier. On the display window is a sign that shows the content that they have as well as the prices of those items. Blaze scans through the list as she spots something on the sign, as it said: [$10 Pen]\n\n\n\nThis confuses Blaze as she thinks to herself: (‘Wait… The pen cost ten dollars? But… Why would they…?') She then hears the door opening as she turns and sees Ruby leaving the store. Ruby then spots Blaze as she said: \"Hey Blaze! I got what I need. I'll see you later, Blaze.\" As Blaze sees Ruby heading towards the end of the area with a pen in her hand. Blaze sighs as she said: \"How careless is that girl…?\" Blaze then proceeds to go and enter the store. Upon entering the store, she sees tons of supplies on the shelves and on the counter as she hears a female voice saying: \"Welcome, can I help you?\" Blaze turns and sees a female clerk behind the counter. Blaze walks to the counter as she sees a tin container with a lot of pens in it, with a sign in front saying [$10]. Blaze then thinks to herself: (‘The list did say that I need to get a pen. While I don't know the full details about this, I rather play it safe and just get only one pen.') Blaze then points to the pens as she said: \"May I have one of those pens?\" The clerk then said: \"Sure thing. That will be ten dollars.\" Blaze place the hundred dollar bill on the counter as she proceeds to pick up the pen, while the clerk takes the bill and opens the cash register. She then places the bill in the register and pulls out five separate bills out of the register and hands then over to Blaze as she said: \"Here's your change, miss. Have a nice day.\" As Blaze sees the bill, she said: \"Ah, thank you.\" As she takes the five separate bills and leaves the store with the pen in her hand, just as an another Pokemon enters the store.\n\nWith the pen in her hand, she proceeds to go towards the end of the area. Once she arrives at the end of the area, she spots a door in front of her as she proceeds to go there. Just as she places her hand on the handle, she turns around and sees the other Pokemons in the area as she takes a deep breath and opens the door. As she goes through the door, she saw a room with a bench to the left, an agent behind a counter to the right and a metal grating wall with a metal door in front of her. As she takes a couple of steps into the room, she hears the agent saying: \"Next!\" Blaze turns to the agent behind the counter as she walks towards the counter. As she stands in front of the counter, the agent then said: \"Place everything on the counter and take a couple of steps back.\" Blaze then place the pen, the list she has and the five separate bills on the counter and she takes a couple steps back. As she sees the agent examining her belongings, she hears the door opening. When Blaze turns to the door, she sees the horse-like Pokemon entering the room as the agent then said: \"Please wait at the bench until I call for you.\" As the Pokemon walks towards the bench area behind Blaze, the agent said: \"Proceed.\" As Blaze turns to the agent, she hears a large buzzer as the metal door opens up next to Blaze.\n\n\n\n\n\nAs she heads through the metal door, the door closes behind her as she then hears: \"Next!\" She looks away for a moment, before turning back and seeing a couple of agents walking up to her and saying: \"Please follow us. We'll take you to your next test.\" Blaze nods as she proceeds to follow the two agents. As she continues to follow the agents, she thinks to herself: (‘What sort of test are they going to give to me next…? The past three tests that I took was rather confusing. It feels like… Like I was about to figure something out when a new thing came in and knock my theories out of the window. There has to be a connection between these tests and human society, but I still can't see it, yet...!') Blaze then shakes her head again as she slaps both of her cheeks a couple times as one of the agents look behind and asks: \"Are you all right?\" Blaze looks at the agent as she said: \"Yeah, I'm all right.\" As the two agents look at each other before they look forward again, Blaze thinks to herself again: (‘What is happening to me… Not only am I losing my focus during the most important day of my life, but I'm losing my focus in front of the agents… I need to stay focus or I will fail my test!!') After a while, the agents and Blaze go through the door and sees two box-like structures, with one of then lighted up with the word [ACTIVE] on it. The agents then proceed to lead Blaze towards the second box-like structure as one of then said: \"Please enter through these doors and wait for further instructions.\" Blaze nods as she goes through the door.\n\nOnce she enters through the door, she saw not only Ruby in the room but also seven other Pokemons in the room. Blaze then proceeds to look around the room as she saw only a blank wall with no designs or interiors on it. As Ruby asks: \"Now what are you doing?\" Blaze then said: \"I'm looking around the room for any signs or hints about what the next test is going to be?\" \"That's not the case…\" Said an unknown male voice, when Blaze turns to the voice as she sees one of the occupants that was on the bus that they were on as it was sitting on the floor. He then said: \"We're just waiting for one more Pokemon… If there is one more Pokemon.\" As Blaze thinks to herself: (‘I see… They want to wait until they can gather ten Pokemons for this next test…') Blaze then said: \"You seen to know this? Have you taken this test before?\" He then said: \"Yeah, multiple times. And every time that I was almost at the end of the room, I ended up failing the test. But now I'm confident that this is the day that I'll pass that test.\" As Blaze heads towards where Ruby is and sits next to her, Ruby said: \"Wow! You really think that?\" He nodded as he said: \"Yup! And when I get that pass, maybe you and I will go out on a date?\" This cause Ruby to blush-fully panic as she said: \"T-That's okay, I'm already taken.\" This causes him to say: \"Ah… That's a shame then…\" Blaze then thinks to herself: (‘I think the only shameful thing here is being overconfident when you failed your test multiple times…')\n\nA few minutes have passed as they hear the doors opening. When they turn and see who it is, they see the Pokemon that they also met on the bus. He then said: \"So… This will be the group I'm working with today? I wonder if Dashie's at the other building?\" \"Dashie?!\" Blaze said as she remembers the conversation she has with him back at the bus as the other Pokemon that was on the bus said: \"Dashie? What kind of Gardevoir is named that, Gallade?\" The Pokemon that was called Gallade then said: \"Gardevoir? No. I'm actually talking about my lovely Rapidash!\" \"Rapidash?!\" Ruby flusteredly said, Gallade then said: \"Yep! Me and my Rapidash had some great moments together before we joined this P.H.B.P thing. And once we gained our passes, we'll be able to have a lot of more fun time together.\" Blaze then starts to blush as she said: \"I-I see…\" She then thinks to herself: (‘It's good for them that they're getting along, but I need to focus on my own thing…') Gallade then said: \"Speaking of which, has anybody seen Dashie before they went in here?\" The Pokemon that was on the bus said: \"I've seen a few Rapidash while I was heading to the end of the test, but I don't think I saw a single Rapidash entering the room when I was in it.\" Ruby then said: \"Sorry… But I don't know who this Dashie is…\" As the other Pokemons either ignore Gallade's question or doesn't know the answer, Blaze recalls the horse-like Pokemon earlier as she then said: \"I did see a Rapidash while I was in the room with the agent. I believe that it was next just as I went through the metal doors…\" Gallade then lowers his head as he then said: \"I-I see…\"\n\n\n\n\nJust then, they heard the speakers turning on. They then hear the voice of the agent saying: \"For this next test, once you see the walls opened, you'll see ten cribs in the room. Your goal is to ensure that the crib you choose remains intact. If the crib ends up falling apart, you will be required to return to the area you are currently standing in.\" Blaze then thinks to herself: (‘I would like to say that I figure out what the next test is and how it's related to human society… But knowing how the past tests were handled, anything could happen.') They then hear the walls opening as Gallade rub his nose as he said: \"Oh well… I'm not going to give up now, I'll go and pass this test for Dashie's sake!\" As Gallade smiles with confident, Blaze takes a deep breath as Ruby and Blaze and the others stand up and face the opening wall. When the wall is fully opened, they see that the other side of the room is like a day-care room with ten baby cribs in the room. As Ruby and the others quickly go and pick their cribs, Blaze slowly walks into the room as she examines her surroundings. When she arrives at one of the cribs that weren't taken yet, she looks inside and sees a balloon in the crib as she thinks to herself: (‘Of course… It's never that simple… At this point...')\n\n*POP* They then heard a popping sound and then they heard something collapsing on the ground, when they turn to the source of the noise, they see a disappointed Pokemon next to the collapsed crib as the Pokemon proceeds to go back to the area where they were before. As Blaze wonders about what just happen, she hears a strange noise nearby. When she turns to her crib, she saw four separate blades slowly moving towards the balloon. As Blaze quickly picks up the balloon and as she's about to lift the balloon in the air, she notices a string attached to the balloon and to the crib. As she's unsure about what the string does, the blades slices through the air and vanishes from the crib. As she was about to wonder about the string, she hears the crib collapsing on the ground. She turns to the source of the noise as she sees another disappointed Pokemon with a balloon in its arms with a block at the end of the string. The Pokemon then drops the balloon as it heads over to the area with the other Pokemon. Blaze then thinks to herself: (‘That explains the string… But how does lifting the balloon in the air without pulling out the block and putting it back on the crib have to do with human society? Doesn't madder… I need to focus!')\n\nBlaze then puts the balloon back on the crib as she fiercely focuses on the crib. She then picks up the balloon If she sees the blades appearing in the crib and once the blades have swiped and disappeared, she puts the balloon back on the crib. As she continues to focus on the crib and picks up and put down the balloon multiple times, she hears a couple of balloons popping and a few cribs falling apart and landing on the floor, but she doesn't lose her focus on the crib as she thinks to herself: (‘I've got to stay focus on my own thing! I've got to stay focus!') After a few minutes have gone by, they hear a horn going off. This causes Blaze to finally look away from the crib as she sees that out of ten cribs in the room, only four of them are left standing. As she continues to look around and not only see Ruby is still in the room, but also the two Pokemons they saw on the bus. The speakers then turn on and the agent's voice said: \"For those that are still in the crib room, please leave the room as we'll lead you to the next room. The rest of you will stay and wait for further instructions.\" The doors then open up next to Blaze as the other three saw the door opened. As Blaze steps through the open door, she sees a couple of agents pointing to their left. As Blaze turns to her left and sees a hallway, she proceeds to walk down the hallway while looking back and see a set of doors behind her. As she sees Ruby leaving the room, she turns and looks forward as she continues to go down the hall.\n\n\n\n\nAfter walking a few miles, Blaze sees another set of doors at the end of the hall. When Blaze goes through the doors, she sees a set of chairs and couches, as well as the five Pokemons in the room. As Blaze finds an empty seat, she sees Ruby and the other two Pokemons entering the room. As Ruby sits next to Blaze, Ruby then said: \"Isn't this amazing! We're so close on getting our passes! Just wait until Master sees us with our passes! Master's going to be so proud!\" \"Right…\" Blaze said as she has a lot to think about in her mind. Ruby starts to feel concern for Blaze as she then said: \"Blaze? You seen to be silent about this… Is there something bugging you?\" Blaze sighs as she said: \"It's fine, Ruby. I just need to focus.\" Ruby then said: \"But you're so stressed, Blaze. I'm worried that you might lose it…\" \"I said I'm fine.\" Blaze said as she tries to not raise her voice out of frustration. As Ruby looks away from Blaze, Blaze thinks to herself: (‘I can't lose my focus now! I need to pass the last two test for Partner's sake!') A few minutes later, the door opens and Blaze turns and sees six Pokemons entering the room. As they find their seats, Blaze thinks to herself: (‘I'm not worried about them. All I need to do is to clear the last two rooms! And given the circumstances of the last four tests that I have to deal with, I'm sure that the last two tests have little to do with human society. What madders are doing those tests!')\n\nA few minutes later, Blaze hears the door opening and she sees four Pokemons entering the room. Some more minutes have passed as she then sees three Pokemons entering the room. And after a while, Blaze then sees one more Pokemon entering the room. As Blaze turns towards the wall, Ruby notices Blaze's stressful expression as she said: \"Blaze…\" Just then, they heard another door opening from the top right, as they turn and see two agents entering the room. As the other twenty-one Pokemons turn and see the two agents, one of the agents said: \"For your next test, you will be split up into five groups. Each of you will handle your sections of the area that you are given, but you are free to go to different groups. When you hear the buzzer, then that will be the end of the test. At that point, we will tell you if you will be moving forward or staying where you are.\" As they proceed to stand up. The agent then said: \"Now normally, we would ask that some of you stay in the room until the others are done, but since there's twenty-one of you, that won't be the case. Please follow us.\" As the agents go through the doors that they went through, the Pokemons proceeds to follow them as Ruby quietly get up and follow the other Pokemons with Blaze getting up and following the others through the door.\n\n\n\n\nAfter going through the hallway, they go through the doors as they see a strange conveyor belt that's separated into five groups by a wall in different areas. At the end of the conveyor belt is a hole in the ground. As they continue to look at the conveyor belt, the agents then said: \"We will now sort you into five groups now.\" As the agents proceed to move the Pokemons to the area behind the conveyor belt, Blaze thinks to herself: (‘From the looks of this room, it's pretty simple. But after seeing how the past tests have gone, it'll be a different thing than what I would have expected.') As she sees the agents placing the different Pokemons in the different areas from behind the conveyor belt, then an agent comes up to Blaze as he shows her to the area where she will be working at. After minutes have passed, the agents have managed to sort out the Pokemons in their positions. The first area has five Pokemons, the second area has five Pokemons as well, the third area has five Pokemons as well, including Ruby. The fourth area has only three Pokemons, including Blaze. And the last area has three Pokemons as well. With the Pokemons in their positions, the agents then said: \"We will now tell you on how you handle your positions. We will only say it once, so commit it to your memory.\" The agents then explain to the Pokemons in their areas about how they handle their sections.\n\nAfter the agents have explained the Pokemons about their positions, the agents then said: \"Now let's commence the test.\" The agents then leave through the doors to their side as the Pokemons see the conveyor belt moving. A few minutes later, several ping-pong balls appear from the conveyor belt slowly. The Pokemons in the first area then proceeds to pick up the balls and put them in the box. Once they have picked up ten ping-pong balls and put them in the box, one of them put the box on the conveyor belt and proceeds to grab another box from the side. The Pokemons in the second area then proceeds to pick up the box that has the ten ping-pong balls in it and put the box on the counter, they then proceed to put a plastic filler on top of the ping-pong balls and then they put it back on the conveyor belt. Ruby and the four Pokemons in the third area then proceed to pick up the box from the conveyor belt and place it on the counter. They then wait as they find a few ping-pong balls in the conveyor belt and grab them so they can put it on the plastic filler. As they continue to fill the filler with ping-pong balls, they spotted another box on the conveyor belt, causing Ruby to pick up the box from the conveyor belt. Once they managed to find the ten ping-pong balls on the conveyor belt and put it on the filler, they put the box with twenty balls in it on the conveyor belt. Blaze and the other two Pokemons in the forth area spot the box as Blaze grabs the lid and place it on the box, while the five Pokemons in the fifth area grabs the box from the conveyor belt and brings them to the table near them.\n\nAs they continue to do their thing, Blaze thinks to herself: (‘I know that it looks simple, but I know that it's not that simple… Even if our area has less help, I need to remain focus and ready for everything.') Just as the other Pokemons, including Ruby, were getting comfortable with their posts, the Pokemons in the first area then notices a stream of ping-pong balls flowing through the conveyor belt. This causes the five Pokemons to panic as they try to grab as much ping-pong balls as they can and putting them in boxes. As the other Pokemons see the stream of ping-pong balls and start to panic, Blaze remained calm as she focuses on finding boxes that have twenty ping-pong balls in it. As Blaze focuses on her own thing, she notices that the two Pokemons that was next to her had suddenly left the area and head over to the first area so they can help the five struggling Pokemons. As Blaze continues to work on her own area as she sees the stream of ping-pong ball falling out of the conveyor belt and landing in the hole, she leans forward and look at her right and saw that Ruby was alone in the third area, as the other four went off and go help the struggling Pokemons in area one and two. Blaze then thinks to herself: (‘As much as I want to go and help Ruby, I need to stay focus and do my own thing…') Blaze then leans back and resumes her focus on the conveyor belt. As she is focusing and notice boxes with only ten balls and plastic fillers on the stream of ping-pong balls stream, she hears some footsteps behind her, although she ignores those footsteps.\n\n\n\n\nThey then hear the buzzer going off, causing the Pokemons to stop as the last of the stuff on the conveyor belt falls into the hole. The door to the side of the hall then opens up and two agents enter the room. One of the agents then said: \"Standby until we tell you to come to the other side of the conveyor belt.\" As the Pokemon stayed where they are and the agents proceed to look at each Pokemon, Blaze thinks to herself: (‘I managed to stay focus during this stressful situation. I'm sure that I managed to pass this test…') As Blaze waits for her results, the agents then point their fingers to a Pokemon so that they can focus on them and then they signal them to come to the other side. Blaze continues to wait as the agent's points at the five Pokemons and signal them to come to the other side of the room. After the agents take a look at the rest of the Pokemons, the agents then said: \"The six of you, follow us. The rest of you will stay here until further notice.\" This shocks Blaze as the agents then open the doors and led the six Pokemons through the door. As Blaze was speechless that the agents didn't have her join them, Ruby said: \"Did we… Did we fail…?\" As Blaze turns to Ruby, she sees the other thirteen Pokemons with either a disappointed look on their face or a look of defeat on their faces.\n\nBefore Blaze can say anything, the wall behind her begins to open up. As the Pokemons, including Ruby and Blaze, turns to the opening wall, they see five agents behind the wall. One of the agents then walks up to them and said: \"We're here to inform you that you have failed your tests. You will have to use these halls and go to the waiting room. From there, you will wait until your ride has arrived.\" As the Pokemons proceed to go into the hallway, Blaze falls to her knees as she said: \"Why… Why… Why did you say that I failed… I couldn't have failed that test…\" The agents then walk up to Blaze as he then said: \"We don't give out expiation to those that failed the test. You need to think about why you fail this test. You must leave this room and go wait in the waiting room.\" As Blaze is baffled about the situation she's in, Ruby goes up to Blaze as she said: \"Blaze… Please… Don't do this…\" Blaze then looks at the very concern Ruby as she closes her eyes and remembers the promise that she has made with Travis. She then stands up from the ground as she then said: \"I… I understand…\" Blaze then slowly walks to the open hallway with Ruby following her. The agents then proceed to enter the hall as one of the agents flicks a switch, causing the wall to close in from behind the agents as Ruby and Blaze slowly walk down the hall with a sad and disappointed look on their faces.\n\n\n\n\nAs they walk down the hall, Blaze looks to Ruby as she thinks to herself: (‘Ruby…') Ruby then stares at Blaze with a concerned look on her face, until they spot a door in front of them. They then go through the door and saw one hundred and twenty-six Pokemons in the room with several chairs in the area. As Blaze goes and sits at one of the empty seats, Ruby sits next to her and said: \"Blaze… Are you… Are you feeling all right?\" Blaze then looks at Ruby as she said: \"I… I don't know…\" All the while, she thinks to herself: (‘Why… Why did they say that I failed the test… They tell me to think about why I failed my test… But I… I don't even know where to begin…') Blaze then takes a look around and see the other one hundred and twenty-six Pokemons in the room beside Ruby and herself as she then thinks to herself: (‘I do know that there were a hundred and forty Pokemons in the room… And that's including me and Ruby. Aside from the six Pokemons that enter the next room and face that last test, there must be at least six Pokemons that got in trouble with the agents…') Blaze then grabs her head out of frustration as she thinks to herself: (‘What's the point of this!! It doesn't even madder at this point!!') As Blaze sighs out of frustrations, she hears some doors opening. When she looks up, she sees the six Pokemons that went through the door when Blaze was in that room. Blaze then see the six Pokemon's excited expressions, including the two Pokemons that they met on the bus, as Blaze sees that they're either carrying a license-like card or a tag on their wrists. This causes Blaze to think to herself: (‘Why… Why did they pass… And I ended up failing the test...?')\n\nAs they wait for any more news from the agents, Blaze looks around the room as they see the other Pokemons waiting for a ride back, including a Rapidash kissing the Gallade that they met in the bus. A few minutes later, the agents appear and tell some of the Pokemons that their ride has arrived. As Ruby and Blaze see half of the Pokemons leaving the room, they continue to wait until they hear a word from the agents. A few hours later, the agents came back and inform most of the Pokemons that was waiting in the room as their ride has arrived, leaving Ruby and Blaze to continue waiting as most of the other Pokemons leave the room. As it was getting close to night time, Ruby, Blaze and the other six Pokemons are the only ones left in the room when the agents came in the room and walk up to Ruby and Blaze as he said: \"Your ride has arrived. They will take you back home, now.\" After hearing that, Ruby and Blaze proceed to get up from the chairs and leave through the glass doors. They then see the bus outside as they went inside. After they find their seats and waited until a few more Pokemons has entered the bus, the driver shuts the door and start his engine. Ruby and Blaze then give one last look at the building as the bus starts to drive away from the building.\n\nAs the bus continues driving on the path, Ruby was looking down at the floor, until she saw Blaze defeated expression. Ruby then said: \"Hey… Cheer up… It's not like it's the end of the whole thing… We can always try again…\" Blaze then looks at Ruby as she then said: \"Ruby… Uh… There… There's something that I must know…\" Ruby was wondering about what Blaze means as she said: \"Something that you must know?\" Blaze then said: \"It's just that… Aside from the last test that we did, you seen to be rather… Calm when doing these tests…\" Ruby then smile as she said: \"You're wondering about that? I'm surprised that you were having a hard time with those basic test.\" \"B-Basic?!\" Blaze said as she was shocked by Ruby's statement, Blaze then angrily said: \"Why would I…!\" But then Blaze stops herself as she proceeds to think to herself: (‘Wait… Basic tests… How does that have to do with…') Just as Blaze was thinking to herself, she suddenly has a realization hitting her mind as she then said: \"Those tests are to makes understand the basic knowledge of human society.\" \"Are you all right, Blaze?\" Ruby asks as Blaze then thinks to herself: (‘I have been so focused on my own thing and trying to understand the connections between these tests and human society, with the added fact that I believe that those passes are hard to come by, I would have never imagined that the tests that they have would be based on basic human society. In the room where I failed that test… Had I gone to go and help Ruby… Then maybe…') Blaze then starts to feel sad as she believes that it was her actions that caused both Ruby and Blaze to fail the test.\n\n\n\n\nMeanwhile, back at Travis's house. Travis was able to get the chores done around the house without much trouble. And although he has to deal with Mimi and Milly's energy and the occasional times where Mimi and Milly proceed to wet Travis's face with their tongues, Travis was able to get through the day. As he was busy doing his chores, Pearl was in her room as she was reading fairy tales that she finds in the living room, while Valery was lounging around in the attic. As the sun begins to fade, Travis is carrying Pearl from the bathroom after she has her bath as she said: \"My Prince, do you know when Ruby and Blaze are back from their tests?\" Travis looks at Pearl as he said: \"I don't know… I don't think that they'll let me go and take that test, so I wouldn't know how long those tests are.\" Pearl then said: \"I see… I do hope that Ruby and Blaze return home safely.\" Travis then said: \"I hope so too… But I do have good faith in them that they will return home. And who knows, maybe they can pass those tests and earn those passes.\" As Travis carries Pearl into the kitchen, Pearl said: \"Yeah. You're right, my Prince. We must not lose our faith with our friends.\" As Travis place Pearl in her seat, he returns to the kitchen as plates the food that he has already cooked before he went to pick up Pearl. As he grabs the plate full of foods and carries them to the table, he sees Mimi and Milly entering the dining room. This causes the girls to look behind them with Pearl saying: \"They're back!\" Travis turns around and saw the back of the four girls in the dining room. He then walks up to the four girls and said: \"Ruby… Blaze… I'm glad that you're back. Tell me, did you…\" But when he gets a better view of the lobby, he saw Ruby and Blaze's gloomy faces as he then said: \"Ruby… Blaze… What's wrong?\" Ruby then said: \"We didn't pass the tests, Master…\" \"Oh… I see…\" Travis said as the girls feel sad for Ruby and Blaze. As Pearl said: \"It's all right. I'm sure that they'll give you another chance, right?\" Mimi proceeds to go and give Ruby a lick on her cheek. Valery notices her expression changed from gloomy to sad as she turns to the girls and said: \"Look like something must have happened to Blaze while the two were taking their tests.\" Travis then turns to Blaze as he said: \"Ruby, do you know what happen to Blaze?\" Ruby then proceeds to recall the events earlier as she said: \"Well…\"\n\n\n\n\nSome time has passed as Blaze sits on her knees in defeat while she's in the dark. As tears forums in her eyes, she hears a knock on the door. She doesn't respond or turn to the door as the light pierces through the door. She then hears a familiar voice saying: \"Blaze… Do you mind if I come in?\" Blaze then turns to the door and see Travis on the other side of the open door, she lowered her head at first. But then she nods her head as Travis enters her room and closes her door behind him. He then goes to Blaze as he said: \"Hey… I heard about what happened… I know that you may think that I'm disappointed in you, but…\" \"It's not that…\" Blaze said as she cuts Travis off, Travis was then confused by her statement as Blaze then said: \"Its just that… At that moment… Had I realize the true purpose of the test… Then I would've…\" Travis then places his hand on her shoulder as he said: \"Hey, don't blame yourself for something that you didn't know… Everybody tends to make mistakes, it's how we handle those mistakes that we can learn to improve ourselves.\" Blaze then looks at Travis as she said: \"Partner…\" As she stares into Travis's eyes, Travis felt something on his waists. As Blaze hurries downstairs to find the source of the noise that's keeping her from studying, the noise suddenly vanishes as she reaches the bottom of the stairs. Confused, she stays in the lobby as she keeps an open ear for any signs of the noise when she hears: "Oh, Master! Now that those jokers won't bother us anymore, we can spend some lovely times together." Recognizing the voice belonging to Ruby in the living room, she rushes into the living room as she said: "WHAT IS GOING ON IN HERE?!" As Blaze is catching her breath, she sees that not only the living room is in a mess, but also Mimi, Milly and Pearl are knocked out while underneath the couch and a very surprised Travis and Ruby on the floor, with Travis's face being covered with saliva and lip marks. "I-Is there something wrong, Blaze?" Travis asks and Blaze proceeds to sigh as she picks Travis off the ground with Ruby being lifted up as she is still holding on to Travis. She then places Travis on his feet as she said: "Honestly, Partner. I'm trying to study for the test and you're getting caught up in their shenanigan, which prevents me from studying." Before Travis can say anything, Ruby said: "It's not Master's fault! Mimi and Milly was trying to have their way with Master! And Pearl tries to have her way with Master too! I have to save Master from those greedy hands of theirs!" Travis starts to cry as he then said: "It doesn't help that my living room has become a battlefield for their quarrel…"

Blaze then said: "Well if you're done with this whole silly thing, I need to get back to my studies?" As Blaze turns around and was about to head upstairs, Ruby said: "Why do you need to study so much? It's not like the whole test is going to be based on studying." Blaze stops on the stairs as she turns to Ruby as she said: "Why are you concern? You're not the one taking the test, right?" Ruby then gives off a confident look on her face as she said: "Actually, I'm already ready to go and take that test. In fact, I'm going to go and pass that test without having to study a single thing." Hearing Ruby's statement, Blaze went back downstairs as she said: "You didn't study for your test?! You do realize that the appointed test date is today?!" "I know that!" Ruby said, she then said: "It's just that I find that spending time with Master helps me out more than studying!" Blaze clenches her fist as she said: "Slacking off is not the same as getting ready for the test! If you continue to slack off, you'll never earn that pass!" Ruby starts to get flustered as she angrily said: "Easy for you to say! All you have been doing is exercising! At least I know what's going on in the outside world!" As the two girls stared down at each other, Travis realizes the possibility that the two will fight, he quickly steps in between them as he said: "O-Okay, girls. Let's just calm down for a moment and…" But Blaze and Ruby ready themselves as they both said: "I won't let you beat me!!" As they both lunge at each other with Travis in the middle, several vines appear and trap both Ruby and Blaze as they fall to the ground. As Ruby and Blaze struggle with the vines… "Sheesh… I was expecting to wake up on a peaceful morning, not to wake up on a chaotic morning." Valery said as she's heading downstairs with Travis saying: "Valery…"




After Ruby and Blaze have calmed down and Mimi, Milly and Pearl recover from being knocked out, they wait in the dining room as Travis is busy cooking their breakfast. As he's busy cooking the breakfast, he turns around and sees that Ruby and Blaze won't look at each other in the face. "Is there something wrong, girls?" Travis asks and neither Ruby or Blaze respond to his question. ("This is bad… They won't speak to each other… I know that the test is important to them… And they do get their passes if they pass the test… But I don't want them to become enemies when they take that test…") Pearl then breaks the silence as she said: "I know that this test of yours is coming up soon, but do you believe that holding a grudge is a good thing?" Blaze then said: "I'm not holding a grudge, I'm just baffled that someone would waste their time goofing off and not preparing themselves for the test." Ruby then said: "At least, I experience life outside the house and not stuck in the room and read books." "Do you know what the test actually is?!" Valery fiercely said, causing both Ruby and Blaze to stagger. Valery then said: "I know that I heard the argument just now, but you two are acting high and mighty when you have no idea of what test you will be facing." Ruby then stumbles as she said: "Well… That's…" But Blaze then said: "I… I mean… It's not like you have taken the test… Have you?" Valery then said: "True. I haven't taken the test. But I did experience it from an another Pokemon." "Wait… You experience it… From another Pokemon?" Blaze said as she was confused about Valery's statement. At that point, Travis finishes cooking their breakfast as he carries the plate to the table as Pearl asks: "How did you experience the test, Valentine?" Valery then said: "It was a long time ago, but I do remember how it went down." Valery then starts telling her story.

In Valery's story, she's in the waiting room with several other Pokemons in the room. Some of them are humanoid Pokemons, some of them are creature-like Pokemons, some of them are large Pokemons and some of them are small Pokemons. ("I was waiting in the lobby as I was about to go and meet the family that will take care of me. And at the time, I didn't know that I would be given away to that perverted man by those families… But I was excited for it that I didn't even think of the possibility.") As Valery sees agents coming and going from in and out of the room, more and more Pokemons proceeds to enter and leave the waiting room. ("As I continue to wait for that agent to come and take me to the family. I hear a commotion going on nearby. The others hear the commotion too as they turn to the source of the commotion.") As she raises her body so she can see the commotion, she sees an agent and a Pokemon with a white body, purple forehead with yellow tipped whiskers, long arms with purple ends, purple legs and a tail with purple at the end of the tail. Valery sees them arguing as she looks and sees the expressions of the other Pokemons. ("As I continue to listen to the two arguments, I can tell that the Pokemon was mad at them for something that happened earlier. And as I stared at the other Pokemons, I can tell that while some of them are either sad or worried, others are either dismissive or ignoring the Pokemon's claims. As I continue to listen to them, I heard that the Pokemon came in with its friend and that they both failed the test. I also heard that the agents have taken their friend after they failed the test and that the Pokemon is pleading with them to let that Pokemon go. Just as I was about to get some more info, I heard the agent calling for my name as I realize that they're ready to take me there. I was making my way to the agent when I took a quick look and saw that Pokemon bowing and crying as it's begging them to let the Pokemon go.")





"And that was the last time I saw that Pokemon as I leave with the agent. The rest is history after that." Valery said as she finishes her story. The girls are startled with fear as Travis ask: "Wait… So they can take the Pokemon away if they failed the test?!" Valery then said: "Not sure… The other Pokemon did fail the test, but it wasn't begging for its life but rather begging for its friend back. Most likely, that the other Pokemon did something wrong in that test that causes them to take that other Pokemon." "I see…" Travis said, Ruby then nervously said: "I-I'm sure that Pokemon's fine… M-Maybe the Pokemon's not feeling well and…" Valery then cuts Ruby off as she said: "If that was the case, the Pokemon wouldn't have to resort to begging on the ground." As Ruby stumbles on trying to speak, Travis said: "Ruby… I know that the passes are important to you, but promise me that you wouldn't go and get yourself in trouble. Understand?" Ruby was speechless at first, but then Ruby lowers her head as she said: "Yes, Master." Travis then turns to Blaze as he said: "The same goes to you too, Blaze. Promise me that you won't get yourself into trouble." Blaze blushes as she quickly said: "I-I know that! I won't get myself into some troubles, Partner!" Travis then sighed as he said: "Okay, good… I know that this whole test thing is making everyone on edge, but you girls should probably finish breakfast before they show up and take Ruby and Blaze to that testing location." The girls nodded as Travis returns to the stove. As they are having their breakfast, Blaze thinks to herself: (‘I still can't believe that Ruby would waste her time on such an important day. It's true that I don't know what the test actually is… But I have been training my mind and body on this important day! I won't fail for Partner's sake!')

After they have their breakfast, Travis heads to the living room so he can clean up the mess in the living room with Ruby, Mimi, Milly and Pearl helping him clean up the mess, while Blaze is upstairs as she is going through her last minute studying. As they're putting the furniture back, Travis said: "Huh… Blaze sure is taking her studies seriously…" But Ruby then said: "Why does she need to study? We don't know what the test is and yet she's stuck in that room of hers as she does nothing but studying or training." Travis then said: "Hey... Don't say such things. I know that you might think that she's wasting her time staying inside her room and studying, but maybe that's her way of preparing for that test." "Huh? Her way of preparing for that test?" Ruby said as she's confused by Travis's statement. Travis then said: "That's right. I know that you believe that going out with me is helpful for the test, well it's also true to some that studying is helpful when they're preparing for the test. Besides, preparing for the test is one thing, how they handle the test is another thing. You just got to make sure that you don't let the pressure overtake you when you're taking that test. Do you understand what I'm saying, Ruby?" Ruby thinks about it for a while until she said: "I understand, Master. I'll make sure that… Huh?" Ruby then notices a cloud of steam in the room. Travis notices Ruby's reaction as he turns around and sees the cloud of steam too. They're wondering where the steam came from, they hear Pearl screaming: "Mimi! Are you all right?!" Realizing that it's Mimi, Ruby and Travis go through the steam and they see Mimi collapsed on the floor with steam coming out of her head as Mimi said: "My head's hurt from hearing test a lot. I wanna rest now." Travis sighs as he said: "Mimi…"

After they're about to finish cleaning up the living room, Travis hears a knock on the door. "Is that them, Master?" Ruby asks as she turns to the source of the knock. Travis then said: "Not sure… I'll go find out." Travis then leaves the living room as he heads towards the front door. When he opens the front door, he not only saw a male and female agents at the front door but also a large bus behind them. The male agent then said: "We're here to take the Gardevoir and Blaziken to the testing grounds." "Is the Gardevoir and the Blaziken that's staying in your household ready to take the test?" The female agent said, Travis then said: "They should be… Hold on." He then turns to the living room as he said: "Ruby. They're here." "Okay, Master. Ruby said as she leaves the living room while Travis turns towards the stairs and said: "Blaze! They're here!" And after a few moments, Blaze opens the door to her room and leaves her room. She sees Travis and the two agents before seeing Ruby entering the lobby as she proceeds to go downstairs without saying a word. She then takes a deep breath as she reaches the bottom of the stairs as Travis said: "All right girls. I trust that you remember your promises. And I hope that you girls could pass your test." Blaze then said: "Don't worry, Partner. I won't break that promise we made. And I will make sure that I won't disappoint you." Ruby then happily said: "I know I won't break my promise, Master!" After hearing that, Travis then smiles as he said: "Okay. Good luck on your tests girls." After hearing that, the male agent said: "Please follow us." As they point their hands towards the bus. Ruby and Blaze looks at Travis and gives him a hug before they leave the house and make their way to the bus. As they both enter the bus, they look back and see Travis from across the area as the door closes in front of Ruby and Blaze as the bus starts to move.




As the girls see the house further and further away from where they are as Ruby sheds a tear, Blaze grabs Ruby's shoulder and said: "Come on, let's go find our seats." Ruby turns to Blaze as she wipes the tear away as she then said: "Okay…" Blaze and Ruby then face the seats as they see several different Pokemons in the bus. They see that some of the Pokemons have yellow skin, while some have gray skin with bits of red and yellow, they even see some Pokemons that look like Ruby and Blaze. As they make their way to their seats, they can hear chatter going on with the other Pokemons. Some talk about their daily life, while others are excited about getting their passes. As they continue to move through the aisle, Ruby said: "Wow… There's sure a lot of Pokemons that want that pass." Blaze then said: "There might be more of them in different buses… Or in a different vehicle altogether." Ruby then said: "If there's more, then our chances of getting that pass just got a lot harder…" "If only that was the case." Blaze said. As they continue to move down the aisle, Blaze thinks to herself: (‘But she does bring a good point. If there's more Pokemon taking part in the test, then that would mean it will be harder for us to earn those passes. And knowing how important those passes are, they won't be handing those out for free. I better be prepared for everything they throw at me!!')

When they found an empty seat, Ruby and Blaze proceed to sit down on that empty seat. Just as they were getting comfortable on the seat, they hear a voice from behind saying: "So… You two ladies are taking the test, too?" Confused, they turn around and saw a Pokemon standing up. While that Pokemon is similar to Ruby, but it has a teal Mohawk head crest, and green tonfa-like arms. Ruby then said: "Yeah. How did…" "You don't have to worry about it." The Pokemon said in an upbeat voice as the girls believe that the Pokemon is a guy, he then said: "Any Pokemon that enters the bus is obviously taking part in the test." Blaze then said: "And how do you know that?" He then said: "Because I've been to the same situation as before." Ruby and Blaze were surprised by his statement as they both said: "You have?!" He then said: "Yep! It may have taken a few tries, but I know that this is the day I can finally earn my pass! And once I do, me and Dashie will have the time of our life!" As he starts to fantasize about him and someone named ‘Dashie', Ruby and Blaze face the front as Ruby nervously said: "W-Well… On the bright side… A-At lease we can try again if we fail…" Blaze then said: "But that's only if we fail. And I don't plan on failing." Ruby then said: "R-Right! Of course, I won't fail! It'll be easy!" Blaze sigh as they continue to ride in the bus.




Some time has passed since they enter the bus as they suddenly hear a voice saying: "We're close to the testing grounds. When we park the bus, you will pile out of the bus in a organize faction. Failure to do so will result in you being denied entry to the testing grounds." "Denied entry?" Ruby said as she feels concern. Blaze then said: "They probably didn't want conflict going on. So I can understand their reasons for denying entries." As they continue to head towards the testing ground's location, Ruby looks out in the window and see a building nearby with several vehicles that consist of cars, bus and semi-trucks with containers. Blaze looks out and sees the building too as the building gets closer and closer. When the bus finally pulls up to the stop next to the building, the bus door opens up and one by one, the humanoid Pokemons get up and leave the bus in a organize faction. As Ruby and Blaze proceeds to stand up, Ruby said: "Here we are… Let's go and earn our passes, Blaze!" Blaze nodded as she said: "Right. Let's go, then." When they see the opening in the line-up, Ruby slide into the aisle as Blaze follow suits. They then leave the bus as they follow the other Pokemons to the field in front of the building. As the last of the Pokemons leave the bus, several agents appear from the front door and start to examine the Pokemons that are standing on the field. As the Pokemons start to feel confused about this, the agents have finished with their examinations as one of the agents said: "Please follow us inside." As the agents enter the buildings, the Pokemons follow suit as they proceed to enter the building.

As they walk down the hall, Ruby proceeds to look around in the hall as she continues to walk forward. She sees that the hall is big and has images of other Pokemons as she then said to Blaze: "I would never have imagined that the place would be so big…" Blaze then said: "It's probably made that way for larger Pokemons in mind." "R-Right… Of course." Ruby said. They continue to walk down the hall as they notice a big door at the end of the hall. The agents reach for the doors and proceeds to open then. The agents then let the moving Pokemon forward into the room. When they enter the room, they saw a huge wall with a screen to their left, when they look at the right side, they see at least one hundred and forty desks, each with various sizes, on a huge stairway-like platform with two smaller stairways to the sides, they also see that most of the seats are taken by other Pokemons as it leaves only twenty seats left open. As the last of the Pokemon's enter the room, the agent then said: "Feel free to sit anywhere you like and wait for further instructions." The agents then proceed to close the door as the Pokemons hear a clicking sound as with no other options, they made their way up the stairs as they can find their empty desks.

Ruby and Blaze manage to spot a couple of empty seats that are next to each other as they proceed to sit on them. As they're sitting on their seats and facing the wall, they turn to their sides as they see that they're sitting next to a horse-like Pokemon with flames coming out of its body and a boulder-like Pokemon with a head, claws and feet sticking out of it. As Blaze starts her breathing exercises, Ruby said: "One hundred and forty…" Blaze turns to Ruby as she then said: "There are one hundred and forty Pokemons in the room. I know that there's a lot of Pokemons in the region and not all of them are taking part in the P.H.B.P thing, but I thought that there would be thousands of Pokemons taking the test, why one hundred and forty?" Blaze then said: "There might be multiple places where they have these testing grounds. We haven't fully explored the whole region, right?" Ruby sighs as she said: "I guess that's true…" Blaze then thinks to herself: (‘She does have a good point… Why would they limit the testing grounds to a hundred and forty Pokemons? There could be more testing grounds in other areas, but wouldn't the appropriate number of Pokemons in one testing grounds to be two hundred?') She then shakes her head as she said: (‘What am I doing, the test is about to start and yet I'm losing focus on it. I got to pay attention!')




And then out of nowhere, the lights went out, causing the Pokemons to be either confused or startled. And then out of nowhere, a projector's light turns on and shines at the wall and reveals the images of an old man in the office-like space as the others stared at the newly made image. Ruby then turns to Blaze as she asks: "Do you know that guy, Blaze?" "How should I know?" Blaze responds as the old man on the screen said: "Hello, my fellow Pokemons. If you are seeing this video, then you are one of many Pokemon's that understands the values of humanity. And while there is a possibility that I won't live long to see the possibility of humans and Pokemons living together, I will at least know that there are Pokemon's out there that are willing to live in a human society. While there would be people out there saying such questions such as: ‘Is breeding with a human a crime against Pokemon nature?' ‘Are you sure those Pokemons are capable of living in a human society?' And: ‘Is it even possible that those Pokemons can reproduce a human child?' But I do have faith in all of you that you will be able to coexist and live peacefully with mankind. But I'm getting ahead of myself. Behind these walls are a series of tests in each room. You will go through six rooms and face six different tests in each room. And if at any point, if you haven't moved on to the next room, then you would have failed your test. At that point, you will be required to leave the testing grounds and return to your designated homes as you figure out how you failed your test. You will get the chance to try again next week. But I must warn you in advance that there are rules to the testing grounds and if you break those rules, you will lose the right to take part in the program and be forced into the Pokeball for further judgement."

Hearing the last statement the old man on the images had just made, Ruby starts to feel scared as she said: "Be forced into the Pokeball…" Blaze then thinks to herself: (‘Wait… Don't tell me that's how that other Pokemon in Valentine's story did… Did it…?') As Ruby was talking, the old man in the images continues by saying: "Now that you know the basics of how this works, I would like to announce that your test to become a civilian begins now." The projector's light that's projecting the image of the old man suddenly vanished as the lights in the room switches back on. Just as they were wondering about what's going on, the room suddenly shakes, which startles the Pokemons as the wall begins to pull apart. As the wall continues to pull apart, Ruby panicky said: "W-What's going on, Blaze?!" Blaze then panicky said: "I-I don't know?!" When the walls are fully pulled back, the room stops shaking as it allows the Pokemons to calm down from their anxiously. But when they look forward, they not only saw six agents there, with three agents on one side of the wall. They then look on the floor and saw one hundred and forty rows of large circles on the floor, each circle has a colour on it and are placed in seven rows of twenty.




One of the agents then said: "Everyone, go and stand yourselves in the circles in front of us and line yourself up in a group of twenty per row!" After hearing that, the Pokemons then proceeds to leave the desks as they move towards the spots on the floor. Ruby and Blaze leave their desks as well as they follow the other Pokemons in the room. While that is going on, Blaze thinks to herself: (‘What's with the rows of colours? How does standing on a colour spot have to do with getting a pass or understanding how human society works?') As they reach the bottoms of the stairs, some of the Pokemons immediately went to the different spots on the floor while some are hesitant as they are figuring out which spots that they'll stand on. Ruby and Blaze are the part of the hesitant group as Blaze is stumped on the concept of the colour spots on the floor as Blaze said: "What do the spots have to do with human society?" "Not sure…" Ruby said as she's figuring out which spot she should stand on. Ruby then snaps her fingers as she said: "But I do believe I know which spot I should stand on." She then walks towards the spot in the first row as Blaze notices this as she said: "Wait, Ruby! What are you…?" But at that point, Ruby is already determined to stand on that spot as Blaze clenches her fist before deciding to follow Ruby to the spot in the first row.

As Ruby stands in her spot with Blaze standing on the spot behind them, Blaze look behind as she sees more of the Pokemons standing there and figuring out which spots they should take. She sighs as she turns back as she thinks to herself: (‘Why did I go and stand behind Ruby… I should've just stayed back and try to figure out the meanings behind these coloured circles… I feel like I've already failed the test before I even get the chance to start the test…') "Hey! Watch where you going, you fat ass rock!" said a very disgruntle male's voice. Wondering about the noise, Ruby, Blaze and the others turn to the source of the noise and saw the same rock Pokemon that was sitting next to Blaze, and a monkey-like Pokemon with the body covered with fur has boxing gloves and metal shackles on its arms and legs. The rock Pokemon turns to the monkey Pokemon as it said: "Hey! It's not my fault your fat ass body got in the way!" "What did you say, you fat ass!" The monkey Pokemon said as it pushes the rock Pokemon. This causes the agents to head towards the conflict as one of then said: "You two! Cease this fighting!" As the four agents hold off the two Pokemons, the two Pokemons shakes the four agents off and proceeds to clash heads against each other. Before they could land the first hit, two Pokeballs appear from the agent's hand and tosses them at the two Pokemons. When the Pokeballs hit the two Pokemons, they disappear in a beam of light as they are sucked into the Pokeballs.

As the agents pick up the two Pokeballs, the Pokemons are scared, including Ruby and Blaze as the agents head back to their positions. And then out of nowhere, the two spots that the two Pokemons were standing on was suddenly flipped over and reveal two gray circles with X's in the middle. As Ruby and Blaze notice that some of the hesitant Pokemons are heading towards the spots in a hurry, Blaze turns and notices the agent standing in front of the wall as she notices that the agents have a metal device placed on their arms. Blaze then thinks to herself: (‘What are those things… I never saw them in all of my life and I have been studying for this tests for days…') "Blaze… Did… Did they just…" Ruby said as she starts to panic, but Blaze then said: "Calm down, Ruby. They were probably going to start a conflict here and they went and stop that from happening. I'm pretty sure that everything's fine." Ruby then starts to calm down as she takes a couple of deep breaths as she said: "Yeah… Yeah, you're right… We should be fine as long as we don't cause any conflict." They then turn and see the last of the remaining hesitant Pokemons are heading towards the final opening spots.




With the last of the remaining Pokemons standing on the spots, the agents then proceed to move around and examine the remaining one hundred and thirty-eight Pokemons in the room. Once they are done with their examinations, they return to their positions with the exceptions of one of the agents as he moves to the front of the room and said: "First column! Follow me to the next room, the rest of you, wait for further instructions." As the agent head towards the door and opens it, the Pokemon in the first row proceeds to follow the agent with the others follow suit. Ruby and Blaze also proceeds to follow the agent as Blaze thinks to herself: (‘I think I can understand the meaning behind the colour spots now… It was made like that so they can determine the order of who's entering the next room. At lease… That's what I think it is…') As they enter the door, they notice the room with twenty desks with thin walls to the sides of the desks in the room, they also see three agents in the room with two tables and a stack of papers on the left table. As the last of the Pokemons enter the room, the agent said: "Feel free to sit anywhere you want. They'll give you the next test that you will have to face." As the agent leaves the room and shuts the door behind him. The Pokemons then proceeds to sit at the desks with Ruby and Blaze following suit. Once they find their seats, Blaze thinks to herself: (‘Okay, this must be the real test. It's a good thing that I've been studying for this.')

But just as Blaze was getting comfortable with the situation she's in, the agents then said: "Now that you are here, we will be handing out your test sheets. Do not open them until we tell you to open them." The agents then proceed to place the test sheets on the desks, including Ruby and Blaze's desks. Just as the agents return to their positions, one of the agents then said: "We will now provide you with the tools to help those who have no grip-able hands to hold on to the pencils. For those that have grip-able hands, you will not touch the pencils to the side of your wall until we tell you otherwise." The agents then grab a box and proceed to examine the desks. As Ruby and Blaze hear something being placed on the desks, the agents examine both Ruby and Blaze's desks as Blaze thinks to herself: (‘I know that they don't want anybody cheating here and while I do see some Pokemons with nothing to hold on to… But what exactly are they doing checking up on other desks with the others that can hold on to the pencil? The test hasn't even started yet…') Once the agents have finished placing the tools on those without a grip-able hand and examine those that have grip-able hands, they return to their positions as one of the agents then said: "You will now have five minutes to complete your tests. You may now grab your pencil and open your test sheets. Your time starts now."




After hearing that, the Pokemons then proceeds to open the test sheets, including Ruby and Blaze as they grab their pencils. But as they're ready to write the answer, Blaze reads the first question: [What is your name?] This stumps Blaze as she thinks to herself: (‘What?! What kind of question is that?! How is that any related to understanding the human society?') She shrugs it off as she answers the first question. But then she read the second question: [What is your favourite colour?] She again gets stumped. She then examines the test as she flips through the three pages in the test sheets as she discovers that the questions are rather easy and not that complicated. And as Ruby is having a rather easy time with the test sheets, Blaze thinks to herself: (‘What?! Why are the questions this easy?! I thought I was going to face questions about human society, not simple questions that anybody can answer!') As Blaze starts to feel frustrated, she then flips back to the first set of questions as she then thinks to herself: (‘Nevermind, I'll probably fail if I continue to wonder about how easy those questions are…') As Blaze continues to answer the questions while reading the next easy question, Ruby continues to write down the answers to the questions with no frustration going on in her part.

After both Ruby and Blaze finish with their tests, Ruby waits patiently for the others to finish while Blaze just waits as she continues to wonder about how easy those questions are. As they continue to wait, Blaze looks at the agents as while the two are scanning the desks, the other agent is looking at his watch. Blaze then thinks to herself: (‘Why are these agents watching over us if the questions are easy… There has to be a reason… I'm just not seeing it right in front of my face…') As Blaze continues to wonder about the situation of this room, the agent then said: "Times up! Stop writing on your test sheets and put down the pencil!" As Ruby and Blaze hear the pencils either hitting the desk or landing on the floor. The agent then said: "Now, I want all of you to go and take your test sheets over to the right side table and you will find out the results of your test." As the Pokemons carries their test sheets towards the tables, Ruby walks up to Blaze as she notices her frustrated expression as she said: "Are you all right, Blaze?" Blaze then turns to Ruby as she said: "Yeah… Yeah, I'm all right." Blaze then picks up the test sheets as she stands up and follows the other Pokemons in the lane, with Ruby following suit. As they stand in line, Blaze thinks to herself: (‘What is going on with me… I need to stay calm! I need to pass this test!')

As they stand in line, they can hear the agent saying: "Go through the door." The Pokemon then head through the door to their right. But after a few Pokemons goes into the door, they then heard the agent saying: "Go and stand to the left of the room." As the confused Pokemon goes and stand in the room, the other Pokemons are confused as well as the line continues to move. A few more Pokemons enter the door as Ruby now faces the agents. As the agent signals Ruby to move to the table, Blaze thinks to herself: (‘Why was that Pokemon told to go and stand to the left? The questions are easy… Right…?') "Go through the door." The agent said as Blaze turns and see Ruby going through the door, as she sees the agent putting Ruby's test sheet to the side, the agent then proceeds to signal Blaze to move towards the table. Blaze then moves forward toward the table and hands them her test sheets. As the agent examines her test sheets, Blaze turns around and see the other eleven Pokemons waiting in line as they wait for their test sheets to be examined. Blaze then turns back to the agent as he places Blaze's test sheets on the table as he said to her: "Go through the door." Blaze then nods as she goes towards the door to the right of the agents.




After going through a short hallway, Blaze goes through another door and sees a room with several chairs and couches in the room. She also sees Ruby in the room as well as six other Pokemons in the room. As Blaze walks towards Ruby, Ruby turns to Blaze as she happily said: "Blaze, you made it." As Blaze sits next to Ruby, Blaze said: "Ruby… Did your test sheet have any simple questions?" "Yeah, did you get those questions as well?" Ruby asked, Blaze then said: "Yeah… Don't you find it rather odd?" Ruby then said: "Odd? How so?" Blaze then said: "It just that… Why would they give us some incredibly easy questions and none of the questions are based on human society…" Ruby then said: "Really… I don't see the problem with it." "Right…" Blaze said. She then sits down as she thinks to herself: (‘What is up with Ruby… She doesn't see to be concern with things like the easy questions on the test sheets and colour spots on the floor… If she doesn't notice these, there's no way she'll ever pass these tests.') She then turns to the door and sees at least four other Pokemons entering through the door. As she sees no other Pokemons entering the room, Blaze thinks to herself: (‘How is it possible to fail the test… Ruby said that she has no problems with her questions… So why did the other six Pokemons failed?')

As they continue to wait, Blaze keeps an eye on the door and see if there are any more Pokemons heading through the door. Five minutes later, Blaze sees fifteen Pokemons heading through the door. Ten minutes later, Blaze then sees thirteen Pokemons heading through the door. Fifteen minutes later, Blaze sees seventeen Pokemons heading through the door. Twenty minutes later, Blaze sees sixteen Pokemons heading through the door. Twenty-five minutes later, Blaze sees thirteen Pokemons heading through the door. However, when thirty minutes has passed, Blaze was shocked as she sees only five Pokemons heading through the door. Blaze then thinks to herself: (‘What is going on in that room? Why did the last fifteen Pokemons fail their tests? I thought I have a theory going on… But now… I just don't know…') "Blaze… Blaze!" Ruby said as she tries to get Blaze's attention. Blaze turns to her as Ruby then said: "Are you all right? You seen to be distracted." Blaze then said: "It's just that… The test that we received earlier… I was wondering why is it possible that they failed the test…" Before Ruby has the chance to say anything, they heard another door opening nearby. They turn and see a couple of agents entering the room while carrying a table and a briefcase with them.




As Ruby, Blaze and the other eighty-nine Pokemons in the room starred at the agents, one of the agents sets up a table in front of them as the other agent then said: "Congrats to all of you that made it this far. Now it is time for your next test." With the table set up, the agent leaves the room while the other agent sets down the briefcase on the table and opens it in front of them, revealing it to be a lot of cash to the left and a stack of small papers to the right. The agent then set the briefcase to the side as he then said: "I want all of you to go and form a line in front of the table. Each of you will receive a $100 bill and a list. You will then go through the door to the right and collect the things on that list using only the hundred dollars that you have. We'll also provide you with the tools needed for those that do not have any grip-able hands." As the agent comes back with the box and sets it on the table, the other agent then signals the Pokemons to form the line. This causes the Pokemons to form a line in front of the table as Ruby quickly joins the line-up while Blaze joins Ruby in the line-up. As the line continues to move forward as more and more Pokemons enters the door to the right, Blaze thinks to herself: (‘So… This will be the next test… I can imagine that I would have to go and get something from the store… In fact, I can imagine that it's quite similar to Partner when he goes out and gets the groceries. This I can understand how it fits with human society.')

Feeling confident about her next test, The line continues to move forward as Ruby and Blaze see more and more Pokemons heading through the door with some of the Pokemon having some sort of belt with a holster on it. As Ruby reaches the front of the line, she receives the bill and the paper as she heads through the door to the right. Blaze then reaches the front of the line as she receives the bill and a list as she turns and walks towards the door. As she goes through the hall, she said to herself: "Okay… What do I need to buy…" Blaze then stares at the list as she sees that there's only one item on the list: [One Pen]. This confuses Blaze as she said: "Wait… I have to get only one pen?" She then thinks to herself: (‘How does getting a pen has to do with shopping? When Partner goes shopping, he often comes back with bags and bags worth of groceries. So why did they want me and all of the others to go and get a pen?') She then stares at the hundred dollar bill as she then thinks to herself: (‘And why did they give us this hundred dollar bill if they want us to get a pen? Maybe…') As she rubs her head out of frustrations, she sees the door in front of her, she then sighs as she goes through the door. As she goes through the door, she saw a bright light that blinds her as she made it to the other side of the door.

As Blaze rubs her eyes, she hears the door shut behind her as she slowly opens her eyes. When she did that, she not only see the other Pokemons in the area, but also a bunch of small buildings in the area with the gate at the other side of where she said as the sign said: [CHECK OUT] As she walks forward and takes a look at a couple of buildings, she thinks to herself: (‘Okay… Now I understand why they gave us that hundred dollar bill… They wanted us to go and see if we can go and get the items we need without being distracted by any desirables nearby. That's something I can do.') She then proceeds to walk down towards the middle path of the area as she glances to her left and to her right as she tries to find the right building for her to go in. As she continues to glance, she spots some of the Pokemons either entering different buildings or staring at the windows. She then spots Ruby glancing at the window as Blaze looks up and sees the sign saying: [GENERAL STORE]. As Blaze thinks to herself: (‘This must be the place.') She then sees Ruby entering the store as Blaze's head over to the display window as she's curious as to see what Ruby was looking at earlier. On the display window is a sign that shows the content that they have as well as the prices of those items. Blaze scans through the list as she spots something on the sign, as it said: [$10 Pen]



This confuses Blaze as she thinks to herself: (‘Wait… The pen cost ten dollars? But… Why would they…?') She then hears the door opening as she turns and sees Ruby leaving the store. Ruby then spots Blaze as she said: "Hey Blaze! I got what I need. I'll see you later, Blaze." As Blaze sees Ruby heading towards the end of the area with a pen in her hand. Blaze sighs as she said: "How careless is that girl…?" Blaze then proceeds to go and enter the store. Upon entering the store, she sees tons of supplies on the shelves and on the counter as she hears a female voice saying: "Welcome, can I help you?" Blaze turns and sees a female clerk behind the counter. Blaze walks to the counter as she sees a tin container with a lot of pens in it, with a sign in front saying [$10]. Blaze then thinks to herself: (‘The list did say that I need to get a pen. While I don't know the full details about this, I rather play it safe and just get only one pen.') Blaze then points to the pens as she said: "May I have one of those pens?" The clerk then said: "Sure thing. That will be ten dollars." Blaze place the hundred dollar bill on the counter as she proceeds to pick up the pen, while the clerk takes the bill and opens the cash register. She then places the bill in the register and pulls out five separate bills out of the register and hands then over to Blaze as she said: "Here's your change, miss. Have a nice day." As Blaze sees the bill, she said: "Ah, thank you." As she takes the five separate bills and leaves the store with the pen in her hand, just as an another Pokemon enters the store.

With the pen in her hand, she proceeds to go towards the end of the area. Once she arrives at the end of the area, she spots a door in front of her as she proceeds to go there. Just as she places her hand on the handle, she turns around and sees the other Pokemons in the area as she takes a deep breath and opens the door. As she goes through the door, she saw a room with a bench to the left, an agent behind a counter to the right and a metal grating wall with a metal door in front of her. As she takes a couple of steps into the room, she hears the agent saying: "Next!" Blaze turns to the agent behind the counter as she walks towards the counter. As she stands in front of the counter, the agent then said: "Place everything on the counter and take a couple of steps back." Blaze then place the pen, the list she has and the five separate bills on the counter and she takes a couple steps back. As she sees the agent examining her belongings, she hears the door opening. When Blaze turns to the door, she sees the horse-like Pokemon entering the room as the agent then said: "Please wait at the bench until I call for you." As the Pokemon walks towards the bench area behind Blaze, the agent said: "Proceed." As Blaze turns to the agent, she hears a large buzzer as the metal door opens up next to Blaze.





As she heads through the metal door, the door closes behind her as she then hears: "Next!" She looks away for a moment, before turning back and seeing a couple of agents walking up to her and saying: "Please follow us. We'll take you to your next test." Blaze nods as she proceeds to follow the two agents. As she continues to follow the agents, she thinks to herself: (‘What sort of test are they going to give to me next…? The past three tests that I took was rather confusing. It feels like… Like I was about to figure something out when a new thing came in and knock my theories out of the window. There has to be a connection between these tests and human society, but I still can't see it, yet...!') Blaze then shakes her head again as she slaps both of her cheeks a couple times as one of the agents look behind and asks: "Are you all right?" Blaze looks at the agent as she said: "Yeah, I'm all right." As the two agents look at each other before they look forward again, Blaze thinks to herself again: (‘What is happening to me… Not only am I losing my focus during the most important day of my life, but I'm losing my focus in front of the agents… I need to stay focus or I will fail my test!!') After a while, the agents and Blaze go through the door and sees two box-like structures, with one of then lighted up with the word [ACTIVE] on it. The agents then proceed to lead Blaze towards the second box-like structure as one of then said: "Please enter through these doors and wait for further instructions." Blaze nods as she goes through the door.

Once she enters through the door, she saw not only Ruby in the room but also seven other Pokemons in the room. Blaze then proceeds to look around the room as she saw only a blank wall with no designs or interiors on it. As Ruby asks: "Now what are you doing?" Blaze then said: "I'm looking around the room for any signs or hints about what the next test is going to be?" "That's not the case…" Said an unknown male voice, when Blaze turns to the voice as she sees one of the occupants that was on the bus that they were on as it was sitting on the floor. He then said: "We're just waiting for one more Pokemon… If there is one more Pokemon." As Blaze thinks to herself: (‘I see… They want to wait until they can gather ten Pokemons for this next test…') Blaze then said: "You seen to know this? Have you taken this test before?" He then said: "Yeah, multiple times. And every time that I was almost at the end of the room, I ended up failing the test. But now I'm confident that this is the day that I'll pass that test." As Blaze heads towards where Ruby is and sits next to her, Ruby said: "Wow! You really think that?" He nodded as he said: "Yup! And when I get that pass, maybe you and I will go out on a date?" This cause Ruby to blush-fully panic as she said: "T-That's okay, I'm already taken." This causes him to say: "Ah… That's a shame then…" Blaze then thinks to herself: (‘I think the only shameful thing here is being overconfident when you failed your test multiple times…')

A few minutes have passed as they hear the doors opening. When they turn and see who it is, they see the Pokemon that they also met on the bus. He then said: "So… This will be the group I'm working with today? I wonder if Dashie's at the other building?" "Dashie?!" Blaze said as she remembers the conversation she has with him back at the bus as the other Pokemon that was on the bus said: "Dashie? What kind of Gardevoir is named that, Gallade?" The Pokemon that was called Gallade then said: "Gardevoir? No. I'm actually talking about my lovely Rapidash!" "Rapidash?!" Ruby flusteredly said, Gallade then said: "Yep! Me and my Rapidash had some great moments together before we joined this P.H.B.P thing. And once we gained our passes, we'll be able to have a lot of more fun time together." Blaze then starts to blush as she said: "I-I see…" She then thinks to herself: (‘It's good for them that they're getting along, but I need to focus on my own thing…') Gallade then said: "Speaking of which, has anybody seen Dashie before they went in here?" The Pokemon that was on the bus said: "I've seen a few Rapidash while I was heading to the end of the test, but I don't think I saw a single Rapidash entering the room when I was in it." Ruby then said: "Sorry… But I don't know who this Dashie is…" As the other Pokemons either ignore Gallade's question or doesn't know the answer, Blaze recalls the horse-like Pokemon earlier as she then said: "I did see a Rapidash while I was in the room with the agent. I believe that it was next just as I went through the metal doors…" Gallade then lowers his head as he then said: "I-I see…"




Just then, they heard the speakers turning on. They then hear the voice of the agent saying: "For this next test, once you see the walls opened, you'll see ten cribs in the room. Your goal is to ensure that the crib you choose remains intact. If the crib ends up falling apart, you will be required to return to the area you are currently standing in." Blaze then thinks to herself: (‘I would like to say that I figure out what the next test is and how it's related to human society… But knowing how the past tests were handled, anything could happen.') They then hear the walls opening as Gallade rub his nose as he said: "Oh well… I'm not going to give up now, I'll go and pass this test for Dashie's sake!" As Gallade smiles with confident, Blaze takes a deep breath as Ruby and Blaze and the others stand up and face the opening wall. When the wall is fully opened, they see that the other side of the room is like a day-care room with ten baby cribs in the room. As Ruby and the others quickly go and pick their cribs, Blaze slowly walks into the room as she examines her surroundings. When she arrives at one of the cribs that weren't taken yet, she looks inside and sees a balloon in the crib as she thinks to herself: (‘Of course… It's never that simple… At this point...')

*POP* They then heard a popping sound and then they heard something collapsing on the ground, when they turn to the source of the noise, they see a disappointed Pokemon next to the collapsed crib as the Pokemon proceeds to go back to the area where they were before. As Blaze wonders about what just happen, she hears a strange noise nearby. When she turns to her crib, she saw four separate blades slowly moving towards the balloon. As Blaze quickly picks up the balloon and as she's about to lift the balloon in the air, she notices a string attached to the balloon and to the crib. As she's unsure about what the string does, the blades slices through the air and vanishes from the crib. As she was about to wonder about the string, she hears the crib collapsing on the ground. She turns to the source of the noise as she sees another disappointed Pokemon with a balloon in its arms with a block at the end of the string. The Pokemon then drops the balloon as it heads over to the area with the other Pokemon. Blaze then thinks to herself: (‘That explains the string… But how does lifting the balloon in the air without pulling out the block and putting it back on the crib have to do with human society? Doesn't madder… I need to focus!')

Blaze then puts the balloon back on the crib as she fiercely focuses on the crib. She then picks up the balloon If she sees the blades appearing in the crib and once the blades have swiped and disappeared, she puts the balloon back on the crib. As she continues to focus on the crib and picks up and put down the balloon multiple times, she hears a couple of balloons popping and a few cribs falling apart and landing on the floor, but she doesn't lose her focus on the crib as she thinks to herself: (‘I've got to stay focus on my own thing! I've got to stay focus!') After a few minutes have gone by, they hear a horn going off. This causes Blaze to finally look away from the crib as she sees that out of ten cribs in the room, only four of them are left standing. As she continues to look around and not only see Ruby is still in the room, but also the two Pokemons they saw on the bus. The speakers then turn on and the agent's voice said: "For those that are still in the crib room, please leave the room as we'll lead you to the next room. The rest of you will stay and wait for further instructions." The doors then open up next to Blaze as the other three saw the door opened. As Blaze steps through the open door, she sees a couple of agents pointing to their left. As Blaze turns to her left and sees a hallway, she proceeds to walk down the hallway while looking back and see a set of doors behind her. As she sees Ruby leaving the room, she turns and looks forward as she continues to go down the hall.




After walking a few miles, Blaze sees another set of doors at the end of the hall. When Blaze goes through the doors, she sees a set of chairs and couches, as well as the five Pokemons in the room. As Blaze finds an empty seat, she sees Ruby and the other two Pokemons entering the room. As Ruby sits next to Blaze, Ruby then said: "Isn't this amazing! We're so close on getting our passes! Just wait until Master sees us with our passes! Master's going to be so proud!" "Right…" Blaze said as she has a lot to think about in her mind. Ruby starts to feel concern for Blaze as she then said: "Blaze? You seen to be silent about this… Is there something bugging you?" Blaze sighs as she said: "It's fine, Ruby. I just need to focus." Ruby then said: "But you're so stressed, Blaze. I'm worried that you might lose it…" "I said I'm fine." Blaze said as she tries to not raise her voice out of frustration. As Ruby looks away from Blaze, Blaze thinks to herself: (‘I can't lose my focus now! I need to pass the last two test for Partner's sake!') A few minutes later, the door opens and Blaze turns and sees six Pokemons entering the room. As they find their seats, Blaze thinks to herself: (‘I'm not worried about them. All I need to do is to clear the last two rooms! And given the circumstances of the last four tests that I have to deal with, I'm sure that the last two tests have little to do with human society. What madders are doing those tests!')

A few minutes later, Blaze hears the door opening and she sees four Pokemons entering the room. Some more minutes have passed as she then sees three Pokemons entering the room. And after a while, Blaze then sees one more Pokemon entering the room. As Blaze turns towards the wall, Ruby notices Blaze's stressful expression as she said: "Blaze…" Just then, they heard another door opening from the top right, as they turn and see two agents entering the room. As the other twenty-one Pokemons turn and see the two agents, one of the agents said: "For your next test, you will be split up into five groups. Each of you will handle your sections of the area that you are given, but you are free to go to different groups. When you hear the buzzer, then that will be the end of the test. At that point, we will tell you if you will be moving forward or staying where you are." As they proceed to stand up. The agent then said: "Now normally, we would ask that some of you stay in the room until the others are done, but since there's twenty-one of you, that won't be the case. Please follow us." As the agents go through the doors that they went through, the Pokemons proceeds to follow them as Ruby quietly get up and follow the other Pokemons with Blaze getting up and following the others through the door.




After going through the hallway, they go through the doors as they see a strange conveyor belt that's separated into five groups by a wall in different areas. At the end of the conveyor belt is a hole in the ground. As they continue to look at the conveyor belt, the agents then said: "We will now sort you into five groups now." As the agents proceed to move the Pokemons to the area behind the conveyor belt, Blaze thinks to herself: (‘From the looks of this room, it's pretty simple. But after seeing how the past tests have gone, it'll be a different thing than what I would have expected.') As she sees the agents placing the different Pokemons in the different areas from behind the conveyor belt, then an agent comes up to Blaze as he shows her to the area where she will be working at. After minutes have passed, the agents have managed to sort out the Pokemons in their positions. The first area has five Pokemons, the second area has five Pokemons as well, the third area has five Pokemons as well, including Ruby. The fourth area has only three Pokemons, including Blaze. And the last area has three Pokemons as well. With the Pokemons in their positions, the agents then said: "We will now tell you on how you handle your positions. We will only say it once, so commit it to your memory." The agents then explain to the Pokemons in their areas about how they handle their sections.

After the agents have explained the Pokemons about their positions, the agents then said: "Now let's commence the test." The agents then leave through the doors to their side as the Pokemons see the conveyor belt moving. A few minutes later, several ping-pong balls appear from the conveyor belt slowly. The Pokemons in the first area then proceeds to pick up the balls and put them in the box. Once they have picked up ten ping-pong balls and put them in the box, one of them put the box on the conveyor belt and proceeds to grab another box from the side. The Pokemons in the second area then proceeds to pick up the box that has the ten ping-pong balls in it and put the box on the counter, they then proceed to put a plastic filler on top of the ping-pong balls and then they put it back on the conveyor belt. Ruby and the four Pokemons in the third area then proceed to pick up the box from the conveyor belt and place it on the counter. They then wait as they find a few ping-pong balls in the conveyor belt and grab them so they can put it on the plastic filler. As they continue to fill the filler with ping-pong balls, they spotted another box on the conveyor belt, causing Ruby to pick up the box from the conveyor belt. Once they managed to find the ten ping-pong balls on the conveyor belt and put it on the filler, they put the box with twenty balls in it on the conveyor belt. Blaze and the other two Pokemons in the forth area spot the box as Blaze grabs the lid and place it on the box, while the five Pokemons in the fifth area grabs the box from the conveyor belt and brings them to the table near them.

As they continue to do their thing, Blaze thinks to herself: (‘I know that it looks simple, but I know that it's not that simple… Even if our area has less help, I need to remain focus and ready for everything.') Just as the other Pokemons, including Ruby, were getting comfortable with their posts, the Pokemons in the first area then notices a stream of ping-pong balls flowing through the conveyor belt. This causes the five Pokemons to panic as they try to grab as much ping-pong balls as they can and putting them in boxes. As the other Pokemons see the stream of ping-pong balls and start to panic, Blaze remained calm as she focuses on finding boxes that have twenty ping-pong balls in it. As Blaze focuses on her own thing, she notices that the two Pokemons that was next to her had suddenly left the area and head over to the first area so they can help the five struggling Pokemons. As Blaze continues to work on her own area as she sees the stream of ping-pong ball falling out of the conveyor belt and landing in the hole, she leans forward and look at her right and saw that Ruby was alone in the third area, as the other four went off and go help the struggling Pokemons in area one and two. Blaze then thinks to herself: (‘As much as I want to go and help Ruby, I need to stay focus and do my own thing…') Blaze then leans back and resumes her focus on the conveyor belt. As she is focusing and notice boxes with only ten balls and plastic fillers on the stream of ping-pong balls stream, she hears some footsteps behind her, although she ignores those footsteps.




They then hear the buzzer going off, causing the Pokemons to stop as the last of the stuff on the conveyor belt falls into the hole. The door to the side of the hall then opens up and two agents enter the room. One of the agents then said: "Standby until we tell you to come to the other side of the conveyor belt." As the Pokemon stayed where they are and the agents proceed to look at each Pokemon, Blaze thinks to herself: (‘I managed to stay focus during this stressful situation. I'm sure that I managed to pass this test…') As Blaze waits for her results, the agents then point their fingers to a Pokemon so that they can focus on them and then they signal them to come to the other side. Blaze continues to wait as the agent's points at the five Pokemons and signal them to come to the other side of the room. After the agents take a look at the rest of the Pokemons, the agents then said: "The six of you, follow us. The rest of you will stay here until further notice." This shocks Blaze as the agents then open the doors and led the six Pokemons through the door. As Blaze was speechless that the agents didn't have her join them, Ruby said: "Did we… Did we fail…?" As Blaze turns to Ruby, she sees the other thirteen Pokemons with either a disappointed look on their face or a look of defeat on their faces.

Before Blaze can say anything, the wall behind her begins to open up. As the Pokemons, including Ruby and Blaze, turns to the opening wall, they see five agents behind the wall. One of the agents then walks up to them and said: "We're here to inform you that you have failed your tests. You will have to use these halls and go to the waiting room. From there, you will wait until your ride has arrived." As the Pokemons proceed to go into the hallway, Blaze falls to her knees as she said: "Why… Why… Why did you say that I failed… I couldn't have failed that test…" The agents then walk up to Blaze as he then said: "We don't give out expiation to those that failed the test. You need to think about why you fail this test. You must leave this room and go wait in the waiting room." As Blaze is baffled about the situation she's in, Ruby goes up to Blaze as she said: "Blaze… Please… Don't do this…" Blaze then looks at the very concern Ruby as she closes her eyes and remembers the promise that she has made with Travis. She then stands up from the ground as she then said: "I… I understand…" Blaze then slowly walks to the open hallway with Ruby following her. The agents then proceed to enter the hall as one of the agents flicks a switch, causing the wall to close in from behind the agents as Ruby and Blaze slowly walk down the hall with a sad and disappointed look on their faces.




As they walk down the hall, Blaze looks to Ruby as she thinks to herself: (‘Ruby…') Ruby then stares at Blaze with a concerned look on her face, until they spot a door in front of them. They then go through the door and saw one hundred and twenty-six Pokemons in the room with several chairs in the area. As Blaze goes and sits at one of the empty seats, Ruby sits next to her and said: "Blaze… Are you… Are you feeling all right?" Blaze then looks at Ruby as she said: "I… I don't know…" All the while, she thinks to herself: (‘Why… Why did they say that I failed the test… They tell me to think about why I failed my test… But I… I don't even know where to begin…') Blaze then takes a look around and see the other one hundred and twenty-six Pokemons in the room beside Ruby and herself as she then thinks to herself: (‘I do know that there were a hundred and forty Pokemons in the room… And that's including me and Ruby. Aside from the six Pokemons that enter the next room and face that last test, there must be at least six Pokemons that got in trouble with the agents…') Blaze then grabs her head out of frustration as she thinks to herself: (‘What's the point of this!! It doesn't even madder at this point!!') As Blaze sighs out of frustrations, she hears some doors opening. When she looks up, she sees the six Pokemons that went through the door when Blaze was in that room. Blaze then see the six Pokemon's excited expressions, including the two Pokemons that they met on the bus, as Blaze sees that they're either carrying a license-like card or a tag on their wrists. This causes Blaze to think to herself: (‘Why… Why did they pass… And I ended up failing the test...?')

As they wait for any more news from the agents, Blaze looks around the room as they see the other Pokemons waiting for a ride back, including a Rapidash kissing the Gallade that they met in the bus. A few minutes later, the agents appear and tell some of the Pokemons that their ride has arrived. As Ruby and Blaze see half of the Pokemons leaving the room, they continue to wait until they hear a word from the agents. A few hours later, the agents came back and inform most of the Pokemons that was waiting in the room as their ride has arrived, leaving Ruby and Blaze to continue waiting as most of the other Pokemons leave the room. As it was getting close to night time, Ruby, Blaze and the other six Pokemons are the only ones left in the room when the agents came in the room and walk up to Ruby and Blaze as he said: "Your ride has arrived. They will take you back home, now." After hearing that, Ruby and Blaze proceed to get up from the chairs and leave through the glass doors. They then see the bus outside as they went inside. After they find their seats and waited until a few more Pokemons has entered the bus, the driver shuts the door and start his engine. Ruby and Blaze then give one last look at the building as the bus starts to drive away from the building.

As the bus continues driving on the path, Ruby was looking down at the floor, until she saw Blaze defeated expression. Ruby then said: "Hey… Cheer up… It's not like it's the end of the whole thing… We can always try again…" Blaze then looks at Ruby as she then said: "Ruby… Uh… There… There's something that I must know…" Ruby was wondering about what Blaze means as she said: "Something that you must know?" Blaze then said: "It's just that… Aside from the last test that we did, you seen to be rather… Calm when doing these tests…" Ruby then smile as she said: "You're wondering about that? I'm surprised that you were having a hard time with those basic test." "B-Basic?!" Blaze said as she was shocked by Ruby's statement, Blaze then angrily said: "Why would I…!" But then Blaze stops herself as she proceeds to think to herself: (‘Wait… Basic tests… How does that have to do with…') Just as Blaze was thinking to herself, she suddenly has a realization hitting her mind as she then said: "Those tests are to makes understand the basic knowledge of human society." "Are you all right, Blaze?" Ruby asks as Blaze then thinks to herself: (‘I have been so focused on my own thing and trying to understand the connections between these tests and human society, with the added fact that I believe that those passes are hard to come by, I would have never imagined that the tests that they have would be based on basic human society. In the room where I failed that test… Had I gone to go and help Ruby… Then maybe…') Blaze then starts to feel sad as she believes that it was her actions that caused both Ruby and Blaze to fail the test.




Meanwhile, back at Travis's house. Travis was able to get the chores done around the house without much trouble. And although he has to deal with Mimi and Milly's energy and the occasional times where Mimi and Milly proceed to wet Travis's face with their tongues, Travis was able to get through the day. As he was busy doing his chores, Pearl was in her room as she was reading fairy tales that she finds in the living room, while Valery was lounging around in the attic. As the sun begins to fade, Travis is carrying Pearl from the bathroom after she has her bath as she said: "My Prince, do you know when Ruby and Blaze are back from their tests?" Travis looks at Pearl as he said: "I don't know… I don't think that they'll let me go and take that test, so I wouldn't know how long those tests are." Pearl then said: "I see… I do hope that Ruby and Blaze return home safely." Travis then said: "I hope so too… But I do have good faith in them that they will return home. And who knows, maybe they can pass those tests and earn those passes." As Travis carries Pearl into the kitchen, Pearl said: "Yeah. You're right, my Prince. We must not lose our faith with our friends." As Travis place Pearl in her seat, he returns to the kitchen as plates the food that he has already cooked before he went to pick up Pearl. As he grabs the plate full of foods and carries them to the table, he sees Mimi and Milly entering the dining room. As Travis sets down the food, Mimi and Milly quickly goes up to Travis and proceeds to lick his face, causing Travis to laugh and stumble back as he said: "H-Hey… Come on… I-I need to set the other foods on the table..." As Mini and Milly continue to lick Travis, Valery enters the dining room as she sees Travis getting licked and said: "You know Honey… If you keep letting them lick you, they'll think you're a piece of candy."

As Mimi and Milly stop licking Travis and turns to Valery as Mimi said: "It's not true, Vally." Travis wiped his face yet again with his arm as he said: "Sorry about that… They tend to that to me a lot." As he goes over to grab more plates, he hears the front door opening. This causes the girls to look behind them with Pearl saying: "They're back!" Travis turns around and saw the back of the four girls in the dining room. He then walks up to the four girls and said: "Ruby… Blaze… I'm glad that you're back. Tell me, did you…" But when he gets a better view of the lobby, he saw Ruby and Blaze's gloomy faces as he then said: "Ruby… Blaze… What's wrong?" Ruby then said: "We didn't pass the tests, Master…" "Oh… I see…" Travis said as the girls feel sad for Ruby and Blaze. As Pearl said: "It's all right. I'm sure that they'll give you another chance, right?" Mimi proceeds to go and give Ruby a lick on her cheek. Ruby then smiles as she said: "Yeah… It's true…" But Blaze doesn't say anything as she heads for the stairs. Travis notices this as he said: "Blaze? We're about to have dinner…" "It's all right… I don't need it, Partner…" Blaze said as she proceeds to go upstairs. Valery notices her expression changed from gloomy to sad as she turns to the girls and said: "Look like something must have happened to Blaze while the two were taking their tests." Travis then turns to Blaze as he said: "Ruby, do you know what happen to Blaze?" Ruby then proceeds to recall the events earlier as she said: "Well…"




Some time has passed as Blaze sits on her knees in defeat while she's in the dark. As tears forums in her eyes, she hears a knock on the door. She doesn't respond or turn to the door as the light pierces through the door. She then hears a familiar voice saying: "Blaze… Do you mind if I come in?" Blaze then turns to the door and see Travis on the other side of the open door, she lowered her head at first. But then she nods her head as Travis enters her room and closes her door behind him. He then goes to Blaze as he said: "Hey… I heard about what happened… I know that you may think that I'm disappointed in you, but…" "It's not that…" Blaze said as she cuts Travis off, Travis was then confused by her statement as Blaze then said: "Its just that… At that moment… Had I realize the true purpose of the test… Then I would've…" Travis then places his hand on her shoulder as he said: "Hey, don't blame yourself for something that you didn't know… Everybody tends to make mistakes, it's how we handle those mistakes that we can learn to improve ourselves." Blaze then looks at Travis as she said: "Partner…" As she stares into Travis's eyes, Travis felt something on his waists. Unsure of what's on his waist, he looks down and saw that Blaze was pulling his pants down as she then said: "Please… Let me use my body to please you. It's a way for punishing me for not passing that test." Travis starts to panic as he backs away from Blaze as he said: "Whoa! L-Let's not go that far, Blaze!" I want you to learn from your mistakes and work on improving yourself as best as you can. Do you understand what I'm saying, Blaze?" Blaze looks down as she takes in what Travis said. She then looks at Travis as she said: "I understand, Partner. I'll work on improving myself and fixing the mistakes that I made." After hearing that, Travis takes a deep breath as he then said: "Okay, Blaze… I'm ready." After hearing that, Blaze proceeds to crawl slowly towards Travis as he stays where he is. When Blaze gets close to Travis, she pulls his pants off of his body, revealing his shaft towards her. As he feels his heartbeat beating fast, Blaze leans forward towards Travis's face as she uses one of her hands to hug Travis.
