The busking heat of the ground and scent of hay and wood in the air. The silence and creaking of the heating barn is overturned by distant flapping then, Thud! A disturbance in the ambiance and the sound of fast pace trotting coming to an abrupt end as the shuffling of the dirt resting back to the ground. A predator is sure to detect my presence. I've been loitering in here, rubbing myself on the sharp woodwork deep into my fur and hay which is sure to have my scent. I lower myself, like a broody duck watching close the opening to the barn listening closely to the footfalls as they move closer to the opening. What I see next, the most beautiful creature appears, first his beautiful head which has not yet noticed me, then beautiful thick arms and wings which he then stretches and flaps before me. I am cautious, I can't help myself. I have to make him aware of my presence before he flies away, he is just the most beautiful creature I have ever seen, his colors and his feathers! But I am not sure how he will react, or if indeed I will become his lunch! The ambiance is oh what’s the point nobody is gonna read this far into this rubbish disturbed by my pawing at the dirt on the ground. He notices and looks right at me, this is it. I lower myself and back away slowly deeper into the shade. He sniffs at the air and lower to the ground, possibly curious himself as to whether I am a threat to him. He is definitely curious, I have to make a move, slowly to see if he likes to suck, like this story. I keep my eyes locked on his and move with caution, keeping my head low to the ground, I drop to the floor and raise my head with a slight blep. He is scared, but it seems he is also interested in me. Every event in my life has lead me to this moment, I need a mate, he circles and poses himself and notice he is excited. I move slowly to his hips and as I tremble in fear rub my fur through his feathers and legs. There was no delay, he swiftly shifted and bolted out of position and before I could flea brought me into his grasp and pulled me into his chest and pins me to the ground. I took a chance, and I will accept the consequences. This is it, my life is in his hands, I struggle to move as he looks down at me grasping at my neck, I don't know if he wants to play with me or rip my face off, he can take my life with a single stroke. I feel him shuffling and lowering himself down onto me, he is positioning himself, all I remember next is his wet length resting on my belly, I don't remember too much about that I am more concerned of his dominance over me and what he is planning. I am breathing too heavily, there isn't a moment I regret anything, I took a chance. He lowers his profile caressing himself through my raised paws.
