The second step was actually giving him a personality and role. He's a doctor, using his knowledge and powers to protect the people in a different way. Very matter of fact in his manner and speech, though he tries his best to keep a good bedside manner. \n\nRembrandt: There was a lot changed here. Starting with the visual aspects, Changed his hair to be a mohawk, and changed his beard slightly, along with the color of them. Took away the glasses and replaced them with a damaged eye. Took away most all of the excess accessories on his dreads as well, and gave him a new outfit. The story has also changed slightly, he's still the one who came up with the Brotherhood, but not just the name. After the death of his son, he came up with the whole concept. Each of the previous Guardians watching over the newest one to make sure nothing bad happened. He also developed a Vendetta against the Legion that would slowly drive him mad, culminating in him charging a Legion Outpost on his own, and using all his power in a grand final attack that basically turned him into a crystal statue. This statue still exists in Haven to this day, slowly recovering over the years, to one day maybe break free of the crystal prison and live again. For now it's a door stop.\n\nAaron: Not much has changed with Aaron, except for his outfit, and what happened exactly. During a scouting trip Aaron came across a trap set by the newest Legion Grandmaster, Kel-Tra. Being Overconfident due to how much the Legion was downplayed as a threat by his family the two of them would engage in combat. Kel got in several good hits on Aaron, knocking him down and having her men hold him down at spear point. She then prepared the troops for an assault, readying a large rocket to blast down the wall around the city. Aaron not prepared to let that happen, unlocked his power and blasted back the spear men, and charged the rocket, climbing on top of it and tearing into it ready to destroy it by hand. Kel was not going to let that happen and moved to stop him, running him through with her sword, only for the last of Aaron's strength to allow him to turn and blast her in the face, sending her flying back as he gave one last strike at the rocket, causing it to explode. Kel would survive and be rushed back to the Legion city, while the other Guardians would show up to investigate the explosion, and find the charred and beaten body of Aaron.\n\n\"Jordan\": After her brother's death his younger twin stepped up to fill the role of Guardian, not wanting the people to suffer from his loss. For her sacrifice of a normal life, she was put through a grueling training regime, to make sure that she would be ready for the Legion if they ever attacked again, stripping her of her old identity and thus the Guardian Jordan was born. She would eventually find closure for her brothers death in defeating Kel-Tra once and for all, and eventually peacefully passing into the next life shortly before Locke was born. Changes from the original design besides the Gender Swap include changing the colors, and giving her a more armored outfit based on Shin Hati's outfit. \n\nMathias: Biggest changes are down to colors and outfit. He's purple now, and wears an outfit based on the Old Republic Era Jedi. Also gave him a proper staff.\n\nHawking: Colors are different, he's not as old looking as he's not actually that old compared to his still living father. He's just so done with what the Guardians have become, especially the fact that Locke was not able to be stopped from exposing Knuckles egg to the radiation, that he's ready to just leave this life for the next one as he feels he can do no more good in this life.\n\nSpectre: Skipping to Spectre we have an outfit change partially inspired by Baylan Skoll. Added some red in the cape, and changed the out of place helmet to a hood, so now you can clearly see his face. He's in charge of the Brotherhood, since Mathias abdicated the role to explore the spiritual teachings of their ancestors, and Hawking abdicated the role after the Tobor incident, and \"Tobor\" has no interest in leading. He is constantly waiting for a chance to expose the fake Tobor, though he never gets one due to the immense amount of work it is keeping everything together, especially since they need to deal with Knuckles slowly moving out of their sphere of influence and starting to question the way things are done. Another big change with Spectre is he has a daughter now, she'll be getting her own pic.\n\nThunderhawk: Changed his outfit a bit, his beard is no longer white. Thunderhawk now is a military man, having grown bored at one point and enlisted in the Echidonian Army. He was a fast climber in the ranks and a good soldier, and it caused him to become a bit strict with following orders, thus he will usually side with his Grandfather Spectre in arguments.\n\nSojourner: Removed the floppy disk from his forehead and replaced it with a shaggy mop of hair, gave him jeans and change the colors a bit. Sojourner is now a more laid back personality, jovial and carefree to hide the pain in his heart from the loss of his daughter. He prefers to stay out of any arguments that the others have, as the stress makes it harder for him to cope so he usually just leaves if things get heated. Women, partying, and occasional excursions to Legion camps to take out his frustrations on the Legionaries are the only things keeping him from falling into the despair that he feels.\n\nJanelle-Li: Changed her colors and hairstyle, gave her an outfit based on Ashoka Tano's, and bumped her up in size, making her the tallest Guardian. She was a good fighter while she was alive, and a caring parent. When Athair was called to a higher purpose, she let him go willingly, with a loving parting and a hope that they'd see each other again. Unfortunately for Janelle, the newest Legion Grandmaster had built himself into a terrifyingly powerful force, intent on killing the Guardians. She was the only one there to stop him, as her Elders were on the other side of the country, dealing with an attack on the capital from a radical group of Ex-Ixis mages. The fight lasted from mid-day to the late afternoon, neither of them giving any quarter, but each taking quite a beating. They had come to a deep ravine with a rushing river at the bottom, and knowing that this could not continue any further, Janelle said a silent goodbye to her family, and goaded the Grandmaster into impaling her with his claws, at which point she pulled in closer to him, wrapping her arms around him in, and pulling him into the ravine with her, doing her best before the light left her eyes to steer him into the rocks causing major damage to him before they both crashed into the river.\n\nAthair: Changed his colors, and his entire style, more influenced by Chief Tannabok, and Tzekel-Kan from Road to El Dorado. While distraught, he refused to abandon his holy mission, and instead left Sabre behind to become the next Guardian, telling the boy that it was for the best that he help the people here. He then left to return to the tribe, only to find that they had been raided, and in the attack his wife had been killed. While this made him waver from his mission slightly, he eventually found his faith again and redoubled his efforts into his spiritual teachings.\n\nSabre: Plenty of changes here, gave him hair, changed his facial hair, added a chain to his monocle, and gave him a new outfit based on Obi-Wan's. The most sensible of the Guardians due to the limited influence his father had on him, so he rides the line between the more strict teachings of the Brotherhood, and the looser spiritual teachings of his father. He loves his wife very much, even if he doesn't see her all that often. His relationship with his son is a bit tense, as while Locke has reverence for his ancestors, and what the elders say, he is also convinced that he knows what's best and he just needs to convince them of this fact.\n\nLocke: Changed his beard color, added a scar that he got from a confrontation with Luger, and an outfit based on Anakin's from Episode III.
