After the morning foray Pierro ran outside to a food truck he knew would be there, a small but popular truck known as “Tacos, Muchachos!”, where he grabbed a quick breakfast burrito. Eating while he walked Pierro cracked the file from Keiko and skimmed it for info. It looked like he and Caeso were heading to Aiklinossa to retrieve some fancy relic for and rich contributor to the Empress. Pierro took note of some of the supplies they would need, and probably grab from a refueling station before closing the file and finishing the last of the deliciously spicy burrito. Reaching his location, Pierro slipped into the hangar, housing massive shuttles and fighters, spotting Keiko who waved him over. Caeso was still absent but Pierro figured it would probably take the crow a bit of time, preferring to air dry his delicate feathers. Pierro felt stirrings thinking about the crow lounging au natural in his dorm room. “Pierro” Keiko nodded formally as she checked on their ship a deep navy shuttle, sleek and small, with pinstripe small white streaks across the hull. Keiko was working, cleaning the one weapon the ship had a grav-cannon that tears through anything in its path. “I assume you’ve read the mission brief?” Keiko asked, glancing vaguely back at Pierro with breaking eyeline with the cannon. “Yes ma’am, it looks pretty straight forward and I’ve never actually been to Aiklinossa before so it should be interesting.” Pierro loaded up a small bag with some tools and weapons from the table, more than likely grabbed by Keiko before he arrived. He packed a Meta-tool, a sort-of catch all for software failure, a tool kit, a few meters of rope, a few flares, a Shear Rifle and a couple packs of grav ammo. “Anything you can add or I might need to know before touchdown?” The canine said slinging the bag over his shoulder and walking toward the ships entrance as Keiko finished up. “Aiklinossa has a hostile biosphere, meaning that you cannot eat most, if any, of the plant life and some of it may even try to eat you.” Keiko said hefting a couple bags on board with Pierro. “You should also only eat things you are familiar with, what might be poison to us could be a delicacy to the local populace.” “Alright, Keiko thanks for the heads up.” Pierro responded, hopping off the ship’s ramp. “I’ll be right back, I’m going to go grab a Monoblade, and check on Caeso.” Pierro wondered off back into the streets walking back to the dormitory a couple blocks away. Once there it didn’t take the canine long to reach the small, disorganized room Caeso called home. The corvid was inside, laying face down on the bed as he struggled to clip his harness together. Caeso relied a lot on telekinetic fist fighting, which involved focusing psychic energy around a fighter’s limbs to enhance the force behind every hit. In his case, Caeso, used a harness made up of leather kinesis wraps that connected with buttons and straps reaching up around his shoulders and connecting at the back. The corvid’s arms were twisted around as he grunted trying to connect the strap. “Need some help there, bud?” Pierro mocked as he approached, lying himself over the corvid as he grabbed each end of the strap and connected it with ease, Caeso blushing a bit as he turned over to see the canine. “I could’ve done it myself.” He said pushing Pierro away, a heavy thud as the canine hit the ground. “Alright, a little harsh from the guy who openly groped me this morning.” Pierro said, rubbing his now sore back, falling on what appeared to be a television remote. Looking up at Caeso, Pierro could finally see his outfit, a purple sleeveless t-shirt, with “Takeno-Sushi” printed across the chest, and a pair of black long shorts cutting off around mid-calf. His bondage-like armor wrapping around his bare feathered arms and pushing his chest out slightly, Pierro drooling slightly at the bird’s impeccable physique and muscle tone while also maintaining some chubbiness around the gut and thighs. He wanted to tear the corvids clothes off and run his hands over every inch of his body. “Hey, Pierro, you could pick your jaw up now.” Caeso broke the canine’s fantasy, waving his clawed hand in front of his face. “Shit, sorry.” Pierro wiped his muzzle and chuckled a bit as he straightened his tie and corrected himself. The two shot out into the hall making their way to the armory, a small room connected to the hangar to grab some necessary equipment. The room was small, split down the middle by a wall with a short green frog standing at a counter wearing a military uniform and a friendly smile. “Hey, Johnny, how’s business?” Caeso said, leaning up to the windowed counter. The frog grinned and said, “Business as usual, someone came in earlier with a specialty request but it’s been mostly boring. So, what can I help you two… is it love-birds, fuck-buddies, what?” The two blushed as the frog squinted, his grin expanding further than it seemed possible. “Could we just, get a couple mono-blades John?” Pierro asked, squeezing the bridge of his muzzle and sighing. “Sorry guys, only a joke, I’ll get them for you right away.” Johnny said as he awkwardly laughed and backed away, shuffling and rifling through the room before returning with to small sheathed swords. “Will these, work or are you looking for something a little bigger?” Johnny asked rubbing the back of his neck and pointing the other hand at the blades. “Yeah Johnny, these are perfect!” Caeso exclaimed unsheathing the lightly blue-glowing, white blade, heat radiating off the short sword. Pierro took a couple forms from Johnny, filling them out swiftly and handing them back to the frog. “Thanks Johnny, we’ll see you when we get back.” Caeso said, waving at the short man as he and Pierro walked off toward the hanger. As Caeso and Pierro returned they were swiftly met by Keiko, a look of contempt smeared across her face. “We were meant to take off nearly an hour ago, would you hurry it up even slightly?” Keiko dragged both them away toward the ship, tossing them on the bridge before walking away to the cockpit. Pierro rubbed at the new rug burn on the back of his neck, moaning lowly as he turned and looked at Caeso. “Hey, so, we’re not gonna be doing much for a while… wanna fool around?”
