"writing": "[center]~Note: this runs parallel to Testostrogen, taking place in the same universe~\n\nJulie Emma Krooby and Miranda Leane Tucker\n\nin\n\nJoomer, Volume 1\n\nChapter 11\n\nInto Pieces\n\nby the kzx[/center]\n\n\n ‘I’m going to see Jules.’ Miranda repeated to herself as she walked up to Becky’s house alongside Audrey and Ilsa. ‘Jules is going to be there and I’m going to see her again.’ She shook, trying to not let the other two girls see. She had a major crush on the kangaroo, and even though Jules was still dating Dennis, Miranda hoped she could at least, maybe... flirt with Jules? ‘That’s bad, that’s bad.’ She thought, scolding herself, ‘Dad did that kinda stuff behind Mama’s back; that’s why they separated,’ she thought. Shaking still, they arrived at the front door to find it open. Miranda fluttered. What was going to happen? Audrey peered inside from a good few feet outside the door. She turned to the girls.\n “Open.” She said, peering back inside and slowly creeping in. Miranda could swear she heard Tay’s voice somewhere in there.\n “Becky! I got boobies!” he said. There was a small crash, a loud boom.\n “M-maybe we should go in.” Miranda suggested.\n “Yeah... uh, it sounds like Becky’s angry at Tay, so, that’s normal, huh?” Audrey said as the three girls moved forward. Miranda hunched her shoulders up past her neck, actually not wanting to go in, but the thought of seeing Jules made her push forward. Standing in the foyer, the girls looked up the stairs at the apparent noise.\n \"NEXT TIME, SOMEONE BREAKS!\" Becky roared, escorting Tay, Cotter and Scooter down the stairs and out the door. Before they reached the living room, however, they saw Ilsa, Audrey and Miranda looking bewildered. Becky's expression went from anger to despair. Audrey grumped, however Miranda's eyes shined when she saw Becky and Ilsa just stared at things like as if she'd never been to Becky's house before. The raccoon girl straightened up and cleared her throat.\n \"Sssssooo, what're you girls doing here?\" she said.\n \"We heard there was a party here.\" Audrey said. Becky's fists tightened, her teeth gritting. At some point the boys slipped past her and out from her reign.\n \"What...par...teeee?\" Becky stated in parts. The girls looked at her oddly.\n \"Jules said she was having a 'Last Day Before School!' party here.\" Miranda said, starting to sense Becky's growing impatience. Becky's eyes twitched, but she kept her manic smile.\n \"It's Sunday, just a regular Sunday. Sunday's are ALWAYS the last day before school.\" Becky looked up in fatigue. Izzy came gently down the stairs. Miranda ran over to greet her. Seeing Becky and Izzy again made Miranda’s worries and nerves melt away, even if it was temporary. The thought that these two girls had exactly what she wanted made her happy.\n \"I don't even know why I'm here; I don't wanna be at a Jules party...\" Audrey was still clearly annoyed with the kangaroo for fawning over her brother. Becky shrugged and walked over to Izzy.\n \"Oh, Iz, I forgot to tell you something. If you'll excuse us, girls. You can turn the TV on.\" She said, pointing and smiling.\n “Damn right we will!” Cotter yelled, Tay following as they ran and crashed into the couch, wrestling... were they wrestling? Scooter, nose still in his phone, slowly joined them, sipping on a huge cup.\n “excuse us, randa.” Izzy said, smiling, quietly slipping away from the insanity with her girlfriend. Miranda looked to see Ilsa sit in a robotic manner in the right corner of the L-shaped couch Becky had in the living room. Miranda sat in the center corner, looking around, watching Tay and Cotter beat each other up as Scooter slowly sat next to them, undisturbed. She looked at Ilsa, who stared at the ceiling. Looking up, Miranda saw nothing special, but then remembered it was Ilsa, who did those things. Looking back at her, she saw Ilsa staring right at her.\n “Heh, hey, Ilsa.” Miranda said awkwardly.\n “We already said hi.” Ilsa said, turning forward. Miranda felt a little cold, watching Audrey struggle with the TV.\n “C’mon... need to get my FurFace up!” the pony girl said, struggling with the remote in front of the huge screen. Miranda felt a bit uncomfortable, wanting to mention something to Audrey about her severe lack of privacy.\n “What about your phone?” Tay asked, just before an otter fist flew across his jaw.\n “Eh, it’s dead. I need ta charge it. Anyone got a charger?” Audrey asked, holding her phone out of her pocket.\n “Mini USB?” Scooter asked, finally looking up. Audrey turned around.\n “Huh?”\n “It is Mini USB?“ the skunk bunny asked.\n “Is it a what?” the pony asked. Scooter sighed, standing up.\n “Isn’t your phone a Maston Flywheel 3?” he asked. Audrey looked at her phone then back at him.\n “Yeah.”\n “Then it uses Mini USB to charge. I got a charger.” Scooter said, digging in his cargo pockets.\n “Uh, thanks, Scooter.” Audrey said, smirking. Scooter plugged in the charger near the TV. “Thanks again!” she said, turning to the screen again. “Still need ta check my FF, like, now.” Miranda spoke up.\n “Uh, Audrey, we can all see the screen; maybe you shouldn’t bring up your-” KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK Miranda heard, seeing Ilsa was gone. With all this chaos, Miranda simply smiled; she would be seeing Jules soon, she hoped. \n Another knock was at the front door. Tay, with Cotter clinging to him... (was he biting his leg?!) got up and opened the door. Becky’s older sister, Melissa, stood there, smiling suddenly from seeing all the kids, most of whom turned and looked at their former teacher. Tay slinked back, blushing, as did Cotter, both boys disappearing.\n “Hello, kids!” Melissa said, arms out.\n “Hello, Mrs. Kida!” most voices seemed to say. Miranda rushed over and gave her a big hug, as did Audrey, who managed to pull herself away from the screen, and Scooter, who gave her an awkward side hug. Melissa Kida was their 3rd grade teacher and, from what Miranda felt personally and from the group, their favorite teacher. She still taught 3rd grade at Tavin Elementary and more often than not, Miranda wished she still was her teacher. She was the coolest teacher, always taking them on not just field trips, but ‘adventures.’ She had even more powers than Becky, so she could do just amazing things.\n “Are the facilities upstairs adequately vacant or are they occupied by lesbians as well?” Miranda heard. It was Ilsa’s voice, from around the corner under the stairs. She was at the bathroom door. ‘Lesbians?’ Was she trying to out the new couple?! Miranda thought she saw Melissa’s ear perk, but with all the chaos, it couldn’t have been that. Miranda heard the muffled voice of Becky respond behind the bathroom door, she guessed.\n “I need to excrete.” Ilsa said. Geez, Ilsa... The door opened and there was a short exchange, followed by a raccoon tail and a dingo tail just past the short wall and the door closing loudly. Miranda guessed they just got kicked out of the bathroom by Ilsa and chuckled to herself a little. The two girlfriends walked back to the living room to join the others. They found Melissa standing in the doorway having just walked in. The two smiled huge, rushing to Melissa. \n “Sis! Are we glad to see you!” Becky said, giving her big sister a hug. \n “Hey, Becky! Where’s Mom?” Melissa asked. Izzy awkwardly stood nearby, looking unsure.\n “Oh, she’s out. She’ll be back soon. What are you doing here already?” Becky asked, clearly happy.\n “Well, I– OOH!” Melissa screamed, lunging forward, holding a paw on her rear. Behind her, Tay and Cotter stood looking guilty with blushes and paws out in pinching positions. Melissa turned around to the two boys who immediately pointed fingers at each other. Melissa flicked a forefinger at them and before anyone realized what was happening, both boys’ heads whipped back, tiny trail of blood flying. They both started bleeding from the noses, reaching up and getting it on their paws in disbelief. They screamed and ran, flying right into each other. They got up Cotter ran to the kitchen, Tay towards the bathroom. Melissa giggled, turning back to Becky.\n “They’ll be fine; just a mild nosebleed.” Melissa said. The girls all giggled, even Izzy, who looked like she was starting to loosen up. Miranda could hear Tay banging on the bathroom door.\n “Ilsa! Open up! I’m bleeding to death!”\n “Hold on, stupid boy!” Everyone laughed. Suddenly, Dennis showed up. Miranda’s heart fluttered; was Jules close behind?!\n “Aww, did I miss butt-pinching?” The pony boy yelled. Everyone laughed again. \n “Anyway, I got here a lot sooner than I figured I would.” Melissa said, rubbing the violated spot on her rear. “Wow, they pinch hard, these boys.” Becky leaned in toward her sister, whispering something. Melissa smiled and directed her eyes upstairs.\n Able to break away from the madness downstairs, the two girls and Melissa walked upstairs toward Becky’s room. Miranda watched, heart still beating fast. Jules was soon. She sat back down into the couch, now feeling warm. She lightly kicked her feet, too joyous or nervous to see her crush. Someone’s paw knocked Scooter’s phone from his paws and it landed on the carpet. He lurched forward, picked it up and casually put it on the coffee table\n “Y-you’re super fucked!” he shouted, launching himself at the boy pile, pinning the pony boy down.\n “Hey, hey, now, Scooter!” Dennis tried shouting, being crushed by the three. A door upstairs flew open and after a little bit, Becky stormed down the stairs, followed by her sister and Izzy. Jules caught a glimpse of the girls coming downstairs and squee'd.\n \"Izzeeeeee!\" she sang, \"I'm over heeeee-eeeeere!\" Becky marched right up to the kangaroo.\n \"What are you doing, Jules?!\" Becky yelled. Jules just smiled at her.\n \"I'm standing in you-\"\n \"You know what I mean! This party of yours! It's Sunday! Every Sunday is the 'last day before school!' Besides, why are you throwing this party at MY house?!\" Jules smiled at everyone then walked cross the room.\n \"Because Izzy is here.\" she said, glancing over at the dingo girl.\n \"What does Izzy have to do with anything?\" Becky asked, shoulders hunched up. Jules let out a laugh.\n \"Don'tcha know, silly?\" Jules said, walking over to Izzy, throwing her arms around her, embracing the dingo and kissed her deeply. Everyone gasped in confusion, especially Becky and Izzy. Jules finally broke the kiss, turning around glamorously to the others. “Izzy and I are awesome!”\n Miranda stood there, having watched this transpire, unable to move. No. Jules did not just do that. That made no sense. It made no sense! It took everything the monkey girl had to stay still, to not run out, to not scream. Why not her? Why not?! Tears were going to force their way out. ‘I’m going to see Jules.’ Miranda repeated to herself as she walked up to Becky’s house alongside Audrey and Ilsa. ‘Jules is going to be there and I’m going to see her again.’ She shook, trying to not let the other two girls see. She had a major crush on the kangaroo, and even though Jules was still dating Dennis, Miranda hoped she could at least, maybe... flirt with Jules? ‘That’s bad, that’s bad.’ She thought, scolding herself, ‘Dad did that kinda stuff behind Mama’s back; that’s why they separated,’ she thought. Shaking still, they arrived at the front door to find it open. Miranda fluttered. What was going to happen? Audrey peered inside from a good few feet outside the door. She turned to the girls.
“Open.” She said, peering back inside and slowly creeping in. Miranda could swear she heard Tay’s voice somewhere in there.
“Becky! I got boobies!” he said. There was a small crash, a loud boom.
“M-maybe we should go in.” Miranda suggested.
“Yeah... uh, it sounds like Becky’s angry at Tay, so, that’s normal, huh?” Audrey said as the three girls moved forward. Miranda hunched her shoulders up past her neck, actually not wanting to go in, but the thought of seeing Jules made her push forward. Standing in the foyer, the girls looked up the stairs at the apparent noise.
"NEXT TIME, SOMEONE BREAKS!" Becky roared, escorting Tay, Cotter and Scooter down the stairs and out the door. Before they reached the living room, however, they saw Ilsa, Audrey and Miranda looking bewildered. Becky's expression went from anger to despair. Audrey grumped, however Miranda's eyes shined when she saw Becky and Ilsa just stared at things like as if she'd never been to Becky's house before. The raccoon girl straightened up and cleared her throat.
"Sssssooo, what're you girls doing here?" she said.
"We heard there was a party here." Audrey said. Becky's fists tightened, her teeth gritting. At some point the boys slipped past her and out from her reign.
"What...par...teeee?" Becky stated in parts. The girls looked at her oddly.
"Jules said she was having a 'Last Day Before School!' party here." Miranda said, starting to sense Becky's growing impatience. Becky's eyes twitched, but she kept her manic smile.
"It's Sunday, just a regular Sunday. Sunday's are ALWAYS the last day before school." Becky looked up in fatigue. Izzy came gently down the stairs. Miranda ran over to greet her. Seeing Becky and Izzy again made Miranda’s worries and nerves melt away, even if it was temporary. The thought that these two girls had exactly what she wanted made her happy.
"I don't even know why I'm here; I don't wanna be at a Jules party..." Audrey was still clearly annoyed with the kangaroo for fawning over her brother. Becky shrugged and walked over to Izzy.
"Oh, Iz, I forgot to tell you something. If you'll excuse us, girls. You can turn the TV on." She said, pointing and smiling.
“Damn right we will!” Cotter yelled, Tay following as they ran and crashed into the couch, wrestling... were they wrestling? Scooter, nose still in his phone, slowly joined them, sipping on a huge cup.
“excuse us, randa.” Izzy said, smiling, quietly slipping away from the insanity with her girlfriend. Miranda looked to see Ilsa sit in a robotic manner in the right corner of the L-shaped couch Becky had in the living room. Miranda sat in the center corner, looking around, watching Tay and Cotter beat each other up as Scooter slowly sat next to them, undisturbed. She looked at Ilsa, who stared at the ceiling. Looking up, Miranda saw nothing special, but then remembered it was Ilsa, who did those things. Looking back at her, she saw Ilsa staring right at her.
“Heh, hey, Ilsa.” Miranda said awkwardly.
“We already said hi.” Ilsa said, turning forward. Miranda felt a little cold, watching Audrey struggle with the TV.
“C’mon... need to get my FurFace up!” the pony girl said, struggling with the remote in front of the huge screen. Miranda felt a bit uncomfortable, wanting to mention something to Audrey about her severe lack of privacy.
“What about your phone?” Tay asked, just before an otter fist flew across his jaw.
“Eh, it’s dead. I need ta charge it. Anyone got a charger?” Audrey asked, holding her phone out of her pocket.
“Mini USB?” Scooter asked, finally looking up. Audrey turned around.
“Huh?”
“It is Mini USB?“ the skunk bunny asked.
“Is it a what?” the pony asked. Scooter sighed, standing up.
“Isn’t your phone a Maston Flywheel 3?” he asked. Audrey looked at her phone then back at him.
“Yeah.”
“Then it uses Mini USB to charge. I got a charger.” Scooter said, digging in his cargo pockets.
“Uh, thanks, Scooter.” Audrey said, smirking. Scooter plugged in the charger near the TV. “Thanks again!” she said, turning to the screen again. “Still need ta check my FF, like, now.” Miranda spoke up.
“Uh, Audrey, we can all see the screen; maybe you shouldn’t bring up your-” KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK Miranda heard, seeing Ilsa was gone. With all this chaos, Miranda simply smiled; she would be seeing Jules soon, she hoped.
Another knock was at the front door. Tay, with Cotter clinging to him... (was he biting his leg?!) got up and opened the door. Becky’s older sister, Melissa, stood there, smiling suddenly from seeing all the kids, most of whom turned and looked at their former teacher. Tay slinked back, blushing, as did Cotter, both boys disappearing.
“Hello, kids!” Melissa said, arms out.
“Hello, Mrs. Kida!” most voices seemed to say. Miranda rushed over and gave her a big hug, as did Audrey, who managed to pull herself away from the screen, and Scooter, who gave her an awkward side hug. Melissa Kida was their 3rd grade teacher and, from what Miranda felt personally and from the group, their favorite teacher. She still taught 3rd grade at Tavin Elementary and more often than not, Miranda wished she still was her teacher. She was the coolest teacher, always taking them on not just field trips, but ‘adventures.’ She had even more powers than Becky, so she could do just amazing things.
“Are the facilities upstairs adequately vacant or are they occupied by lesbians as well?” Miranda heard. It was Ilsa’s voice, from around the corner under the stairs. She was at the bathroom door. ‘Lesbians?’ Was she trying to out the new couple?! Miranda thought she saw Melissa’s ear perk, but with all the chaos, it couldn’t have been that. Miranda heard the muffled voice of Becky respond behind the bathroom door, she guessed.
“I need to excrete.” Ilsa said. Geez, Ilsa... The door opened and there was a short exchange, followed by a raccoon tail and a dingo tail just past the short wall and the door closing loudly. Miranda guessed they just got kicked out of the bathroom by Ilsa and chuckled to herself a little. The two girlfriends walked back to the living room to join the others. They found Melissa standing in the doorway having just walked in. The two smiled huge, rushing to Melissa.
“Sis! Are we glad to see you!” Becky said, giving her big sister a hug.
“Hey, Becky! Where’s Mom?” Melissa asked. Izzy awkwardly stood nearby, looking unsure.
“Oh, she’s out. She’ll be back soon. What are you doing here already?” Becky asked, clearly happy.
“Well, I– OOH!” Melissa screamed, lunging forward, holding a paw on her rear. Behind her, Tay and Cotter stood looking guilty with blushes and paws out in pinching positions. Melissa turned around to the two boys who immediately pointed fingers at each other. Melissa flicked a forefinger at them and before anyone realized what was happening, both boys’ heads whipped back, tiny trail of blood flying. They both started bleeding from the noses, reaching up and getting it on their paws in disbelief. They screamed and ran, flying right into each other. They got up Cotter ran to the kitchen, Tay towards the bathroom. Melissa giggled, turning back to Becky.
“They’ll be fine; just a mild nosebleed.” Melissa said. The girls all giggled, even Izzy, who looked like she was starting to loosen up. Miranda could hear Tay banging on the bathroom door.
“Ilsa! Open up! I’m bleeding to death!”
“Hold on, stupid boy!” Everyone laughed. Suddenly, Dennis showed up. Miranda’s heart fluttered; was Jules close behind?!
“Aww, did I miss butt-pinching?” The pony boy yelled. Everyone laughed again.
“Anyway, I got here a lot sooner than I figured I would.” Melissa said, rubbing the violated spot on her rear. “Wow, they pinch hard, these boys.” Becky leaned in toward her sister, whispering something. Melissa smiled and directed her eyes upstairs.
