Their Smoothies Are Great!

"Just because it’s Saturday don’t mean ya don’t do yer homework, Miranda.” Miranda’s mother, Jan, said as she walked down the hall with a basket full of laundry. Miranda sat in the dining room, homework laid out and pencil in paw. She was leaned back against the wicker portion in the wooden frame on the back of the dining chair. It matched the big glass table, especially the faux brass rods holding it all together. She was wearing a large light blue T-shirt and brown shorts, though it was only cus that’s what she woke up wearing. The cold of the wintery weather just outside kept prompting her to put on some thick pants and a longer sleeve shirt. At least the heater in the house sorta worked.
“It’s not even that much left, Mama.” Miranda called out, twiddling the pencil in her fingers.
“Don’t matter.” Jan said from the washroom, “Yer not gonna grow up to be like that father a’yers.” It really wasn’t that much left; just 20 math problems, pretty light for a weekend assignment, Miranda thought. She thought about her friend, Izzy, and how she’s probably got it all done by now. She thought about all her other friends, if some of them have even begun when her eyes rested on number 15. Wait, she already did number 15. She only had 5 more to go and that was it. “Biggest loser this side of-”
“Mama, I only got 5 left to do.” Miranda said, sitting up and crouched over the table, working on problem 16.
“W’that’s great, honey. And that’ll be th’last a’yer homework?” Jan asked. Miranda nodded with a smile, adjusting her glasses. “Okay then, I guess you’ll be free afterwards.” She walked off. Just as Miranda was writing the answer for the problem, she felt a vibration in her lap and looked down. Jules had left a text. Miranda looked around; her mother was away in another room. She unlocked the phone:
Jules: ya busy, girl? ;P
You: homework, why?
Jules: homeworks dumb. going to mall. Need thicker pants! >.<
You: lol. ill be done soon
Jules: kk
Miranda put her phone away just as her mother walked into the room.
“H-hey, Mama, Jules wants to hang out at the mall when I’m done. Can I go?” Miranda asked gently. Jan looked at her daughter.
“Yeah, as long as yer homework’s done, I don’ care.” Jan said, leaving again. Miranda smiled, feeling her heart beat fast. She was surely blushing, finishing her homework. Who blushes when doing homework? She thought, and she already had the answer: a girl who’s got a crush, that’s who.
The mall was only several blocks away from Miranda’s house, though she was nowhere near where Jules and Becky and the Twins lived. Jules’ last text said she’d meet her at the JuiceBerry place just across the street from the mall. Miranda walked in and immediately felt dumb, walking into a place that had delicious, but healthy drinks. She felt eyes upon her, people wondering why a fat little girl is in such a place. She’s certainly not drinking our drinks, she figured they were thinking. Her mood was dropping, to be sure. Why did Jules wanna meet here?
Those feelings she used to have when she was a tiny kid had been coming back to bite her lately. Why was she even bothering with meeting up with Jules? Jules would never want someone like Miranda as a girlfriend, god, what was she thinking? Jules wanted to meet up and hang out, but why? ‘I’m gonna leave.’ She thought, heading for the door; no point in-
“Yo, Randa!” Miranda heard. She stopped, swallowed the burning lump in her throat and adjusted her glasses. Jules was sat at a table near the entrance waving with a big smile. Miranda breathed in deep and approached her friend. Jules was drinking a huge purplish drink, Miranda guessed from the color of the liquid glistening on the kangaroo’s chin. A thought rushed through the girl’s mind, if only she were to lick the juice from Jules’ chin. Instantly, the monkey girl blushed, her heart skipping. Where did THAT thought come from?!
“H-hi, Jules.” She said, trying to stay calm. Jules smiled, took another long sip and sighed.
“Is it that cold outside again?” Jules asked. “You’re all flushed out!” Miranda covered a cheek with her paw and turned away, smiling and surely blushing more.
“Nah, I just... I hurried here, that’s all.” As soon as she said it, she realized it sounded too eager! She was eager to see Jules, but she didn’t run there. She didn’t want to just up and say ‘I want to clean your chin with my tongue.’ ‘Good god!’ Miranda screamed in her head, ‘Stop saying naughty things!’ Miranda sat down across from Jules. “How long you been here?” she asked, realizing she turned her head in the same angle she would lean over and LICK right across her friend’s chin! Omg! Miranda straightened her head and squirmed in her seat.
“Eh, a few minutes. It’s quite a walk from my place.” Jules said, taking another long sip.
“Why did you wanna meet here?” Miranda asked. Jules swallowed, looking around.
“I was thirsty.” She said, smiling. Adjusting her vision from the bright outside, Miranda could now see the red hairs fallen before Jules’ face, the white portions contrasting beautifully with the warm colors of her fur. Miranda felt she was thirsty, too. “You look thirsty, girl.”
“M-me?” Miranda responded, her glasses falling onto her nose. “I, um... are the drinks here, um, good?” she said, smiling big.
“Sure are! You should try their passionfruit smoothie! It’s sexy!” Jules said. Miranda felt a rush of warm, imagining spending time with Jules on a beach somewhere, drinking tropical fruit drinks and looking at each other. She tensed up and her smile was rather genuine. Jules dug her paw into her jacket pocket.
“‘Sexy,’ huh?” She repeated, “I might just-” An orange fist full of money was thrust into Miranda’s face.
“Here’s, like, five dollars.” Jules said, dropping her paw on the table and letting go some bills and coins. “How much ya got with ya?” Miranda looked at the money.
“Um... why-”
“Their smoothies are good, so of course they aren’t cheap.” Jules said, shoving the prolapsed pocket back into her jacket.
“I, um... I don’t have anything right now, heh...” Miranda felt like a total idiot. She didn’t have much for an allowance, as her mom only brought in so much, and every time she thought about spending money, Miranda would feel sick, wanting to help out the family instead. She didn’t know Jules’ money situation, but it couldn’t be enough to buy them BOTH smoothies, could it? Jules dug further into her pocket and Miranda threw her paws up. “N-no, that’s fine, Jules, thank you though.” Jules stopped and shrugged, leaning in.
“I have an idea anyway.” She said, eyeing the clerk at the counter.
“What’s that?” Miranda asked, pushing her glasses up.
“Been wanting to try it for a while now.” The kangaroo said, sipping some and handing the smoothie to Miranda. “Sip on this if ya want. I’ll be right back.” She said, getting up and grabbing the money from the table. Miranda watched Jules get in line at the counter. She felt the cup had heft to it. How much was in this thing?
Looking back at Jules, she was the next person up. She wondered if Jules was gonna buy her one of these things and tried to get Jules’ attention. Jules peeked over and gently swatted at Miranda’s waves, giving her a look that seemed to say ‘I got this.’ Soon, Jules was next up.
Though Miranda couldn’t hear much, she saw Jules get all smiley and cute talking to the handsome guy behind the counter, a real looker. He smiled and seemed to take to her charm, taking some money from her. Oh, no, Miranda thought. She’s buying me a smoothie! The monkey girl took a sip and was rewarded with an amazing smooth and cool flavor. Some sort of berry mix, she thought, and it was delicious. ‘This is what you could have licked off her chin.’ Miranda thought, smiling and reveling in at least sharing something Jules had in her mouth. The conversation between Jules and the guy continued, Jules throwing some real cute and flirty looks at him. Soon, she came back with a smaller cup and a larger, empty cup.
“What, uh... what was that all about?” Miranda asked as Jules sat down promptly.
“My plan. Gimme the smoothie.” Jules said. Miranda handed it to her, watching her open it, along with the smaller, new one. She poured the medium into the large cup and was about to pour the small when she stopped and looked at it. “First, taste this. It’s amazing.” She said, pointing it at Miranda, who took it and was soon handed a straw.
“Is this the passionfruit smoothie?” Miranda asked. Jules nodded, holding her chin up on a paw elbowed onto the table. Miranda put the straw in her mouth and sipped some of the small smoothie. Amazing! It was one of the best things she’d ever tasted! So sweet, but not too sweet. Just perfect fruity flavor. “Oh, my gosh.”
“Good, right? Now, what I’m gonna do is pour this together with the one I already had-- you tasted it, too, right?” Jules asked. Miranda nodded happily. “Well, I’m combining them into this large cup so we can both share it. I’m sure it’ll all taste like an amazing passionfruity mixed berry explosion!” she exclaimed, rather loudly, pouring the small all in and mixing the colors together. She threw on the lid, shoved a straw in and looked at it as if it were a cub having just been born. Were her eyes watering? “It’s... beautiful!” she said. Miranda giggled nervously. Jules pointed the straw at her. “You first.”
“Oh, I couldn’t. You bought it all.”
“Don’t be silly. It’s my gift to both of us.”
“Well... okay...” Miranda said, curiously leaning forward and sucking on the straw. She was met with a crazy mixed flavor of fruity berry amazing. There was no way to describe it other than ‘delicious.’ Miranda leaned back and swallowed, smiling big. “Amazing!” Jules smiled huge, taking a sip. Her eyes exploded in size, as did her smile. She shot up from her seat, staring down at the cup.
“Amazing!” she cried out, attracting some attention, “I think I’ll call it... ‘Jules’ Orgasm!’” Miranda nearly choked, immediately having thoughts of Jules writhing around and moaning, essentially having an orgasm. Miranda looked down. Her hips squeezed. She shifted in her seat. No doubt she was wet, and people were staring at this crazy eleven year old kangaroo girl who just proudly announced ‘Jules’ Orgasm!’ out-loud. The next customer in line at the counter, a middle-aged woman, turned to the handsome clerk and spoke aloud.
“I’ll have what she’s having!”",
