It's kind of like the universe marrying you guys, like a super marriage. It's kinda weird compared to anything here on Earth, but it's the ultimate way to go, I think. You'd know Tay was supposed to always be your life partner. You'd be bonded, by the blessing of the universe.\" After Becky stopped talking, Izzy sat there, looking at all the little flecks of light scattered on her wall, her mouth slowly forming a nervous smile. Both twins nodded. \"Still not weirded out by this stuff, Tay?\"\n \"Nah, you're a weirdo; this is common knowledge.\" Tay said, sitting back. Becky scowled.\n \"Not that common, Tay; no one else knows aside from us and our friends.\" Izzy said. Tay shrugged.\n \"It's common knowledge that you're freaky.\" He said. Becky just smiled and Hugged her friend.\n \"If you two are truly meant to be, then that won't be a problem anymore; trust me, there are ways.\" She said.\n \"What about life here on Earth?\" Izzy asked, many more questions popping into her head, \"What about Mum and Dad? Would we have to live on Ireos?!\" Izzy asked, shrinking into her shoulders and curling inward.\n \"Well... those are decisions you and Tay will have to make.\" Becky said. \"But I don't think you'd ever want to live on a different planet than your parents, heh.\" Izzy smirked and loosened up some.\n \"Well, I don't think we have any plans this weekend, so--\"\n \"The, uh, the trial lasts about 3 nights, 4 days long.\" Becky interrupted. Izzy's eyes widened again. \"Oh, and Ireos has days that are just a few hours longer than Earth hours, so...\"\n \"What?! How could we fit that into any kind of schedule?!\" The dingo girl said, her heart once again changing rhythm.\n \"It's fine, Iz. There's this other, uh... well, it's a weird kind of time-dilation thing called 'Flux Vacationing.' It'll compress your time into a small amount of time here on Earth, so you'll be on Ireos for 4 days while only... about 5 hours pass here, so you might not be missed if we do it early enough. And tomorrow is Saturday, and I know your parents love to sleep in on Saturdays.\"\n \"They have sex on Saturdays!\" Tay interjected.\n \"What the absolute hell, Tay?!\" Becky asked. Izzy chuckled. "What the heck, Tay?" Becky cried. Tay's eyes got wide and his eyebrows raised.
"What?" he muttered.
"Why would Oreos help anything?!"
"Well, have ya ever eaten one? They're delicious!"
"Tay," Izzy spoke up through the chaos, "shut up! Becky, what about Ireos?"
"Actually, it's supposed to be pronounced 'Ee-Ray-Ohs,' but that never sounded right to me." Becky said, anger subsiding. Izzy still returned to the glimmer of hope Becky just gave.
