I wanna eat some food at the movie.\" he said. Izzy’s ears perked up.\n \"Oh, that's right! Dinner! That’s something people do on dates!” the dingo girl said, excitedly. Tay swung his paw at the air.\n “Nah, I'll just eat at the movie. I’ll ask for a menu.\" Izzy looked at her brother warily.\n \"Tay, it’s not a restaurant; it’s a theatre. We could try that one place that serves food in the theatre, but it's expensive, and we only have so much money for this date.\" she said, eyes above her glasses.\n \"Yeah, only $20 from Dad.”\n \"Not just that; we got those gift cards from Auntie and Uncle, remember?\" Izzy said. Tay lit up.\n \"Oh, yeah! $30 each, right?”\n \"Yeah! I haven’t spent mine yet. Have you spent yours?”\n \"No, I forgot about it.\" Tay said, beginning to dig into his pockets. \"I don’t have mine.”\n “Ya know, a real man doesn’t forget his wallet.\" Izzy teased. Tay looked down and embarrassed. \"Hey, I’m just pullin' your tail, love.\" She kissed him. \"You're all the man I need.” Tay looked at Izzy with a goofy smile.\n “That was a bit cheesy, sis.” he said. Izzy smiled.\n “Yeah… sorry…” she said, blushing.\n “It’s okay… I was lame earlier; we can be dorks together.” Tay said, throwing an arm around Izzy. They hugged.\n \"I got mine, so we have $50 to use.\" Izzy said.\n \"How much food can we buy with that?”\n “We're not trying to buy food with ALL of it, Tay. We gotta save some for other things tonight.\" the girl said. Tay looked confused. \n The Rivertown station was announced and the little blue dot began to blink red.\n \"Look, we'll go to dinner somewhere first-\"\n \"Then we'll go eat at the movie.\" Tay interrupted. Izzy frowned.\n \"No, Tay, we go eat THEN we go to the movie.\"\n \"But, there’s no food at the theatre. I’m not eating popcorn on my date!”\n “Tay-lor! Stop being irritating! Listen, we're going to a restaurant to eat then the theatre for the movie, okay?\" Izzy said. Tay nodded.\n \"Okay.\" he said. \n The train came to a complete stop and the twins exited the monorail car with a mingle of other people. The cold air hit them again. ‘Maybe it was even colder here in Rivertown..?’ Izzy thought, bundling up and clinging to Tay’s arm. The cold air didn’t seem to detract from the beauty of the Rivertown Riverwalk; the sights, the sounds, the smells, lights reflected off the river that ran gently through the center of a huge shopping and entertainment strip. Izzy breathed it in and sighed deeply, leaning her head on Tay’s shoulder.\n “It’s so romantic here, don’tcha think?” Izzy said behind a smile. Tay, paws in pockets, cocked his head.\n “Yeah, guess so.” he said, plainly. Izzy lifted her head and looked at him with lowered eyelids.\n “Tay, trust me, this is super romantic to a girl.” she said.\n “So, where are we eating? Where’s the theatre?” Tay asked.\n “Tay, I told you; we’re not eating at the theatre. We gotta pick a restaurant.” Izzy said, looking around. “What’re ya hungry for?” Tay stood tall, robotically looking left, then right, then at Izzy, then left.\n “Meat.” he said, in a monotone voice. Izzy giggled.\n “Okay, well, just about anywhere is gonna have meat, Tay. What kind of meat?”\n “Manly meat.” Tay said. Izzy cleared her throat.\n “Also, it can’t be too expensive. We need to make this $50 last. What kind of ‘manly meat,’ Tay?” She said. Tay remained quiet.\n “Tay, come on. You want a burger?” Izzy’s voice rose just at the end, almost an attempt to entice him to some American cuisine. Tay’s ears perked. He looked at Izzy then straight ahead and nodded. Izzy stuck her tongue out and pulled Tay’s beanie down over his eyes. “Stop being such a dork.” she said, playfully.\n The twins walked down the wavey walkway, Izzy clung to Tay’s arm, passing people all bundled up and their breaths were visible. The trees along the river side all had Christmas lights in them of various colors. Izzy gasped and pointed out things at, what seemed to Tay, to be random moments. She looked at everything now with a newfound enthusiasm. Ever since she confessed her love to Tay and he confessed to her, everything was was new and exciting in ways that she hadn’t yet known. Tay occasionally punctuated every little moment with ‘I’m still hungry.’\n “Well, I think I see the place we should go to, so you can calm down about that.” Izzy said, eyeing a particularly well-lit sign above an almost deserted patio area, except for a few smokers willing to face the cold.\n Every restaurant along the riverbank had outside patio areas, intermingled with their neighbors so closely, Izzy was sure some places were almost sharing patios. Near the front of each establishment, there was a huge, elaborate sign representing the restaurant with it’s full menu on display. There was a waiter station with men, bundled up and in finely-dressed outfits, waiting to wait. Izzy giggled to herself.\n The dingo bundle passed an italian restaurant and Izzy could smell the garlic bread and hoped that someday, they could go to an Italian restaurant for another date. She looked up ahead and could see the place she was after was across the river, down some more.\n At times, the twins would be given a friendly ‘Hello!’ or ‘How’re you doing this evening?’ to which Izzy responded accordingly. They must all think we ARE boyfriend and girlfriend! She wondered if people could tell they were twins. She looked at Tay and thought about what she was wearing. ‘Well… the lipstick makes it very different…’ she thought.\n “So, where’s this wonder-restaurant ya got?” Tay said, breaking their silence.\n “It’s not a wonder restaurant, Tay. It’s just a restaurant.” Izzy said, looking for a way across the river. She saw a very pretty bridge with a Native American motif along the side. “That bridge; we’re crossing there. See that sign?” Izzy said, pointing. Tay looked up.\n “Where?”\n “Right there, the red, white and blue one.” the girl said.\n “Ahh, yeah, through those trees?” Tay asked.\n “Uh, huh. That’s the Big Steak Roadhouse. They have burgers you like, Tay.” Izzy said as they approached the bridge. Tay scratched his head, looking at Izzy.\n “How do YOU know that?” he asked. Tay’s face lit up.\n “Oh, yeah, I remember now! I said that bad word in front of Mum and Dad!” Tay reminisced. Izzy looked at him weird.\n “…yeah, and you were grounded after we got back home that night…” Izzy said, straight-faced.\n “For the whooooole weekend…” Tay sighed, smiling. Izzy looked oddly at her brother, like many, many times before in her life. \n “Mainly cus when Mum told you not to say that word, you turned to her and told her to ‘eff off,’ which made Dad take you out to the car and, you know…” Izzy blushed, leaning in, “spank you.” she whispered. Tay laughed.\n “Yeah, good times!” he chuckled. Izzy smirked.\n “You’re weird, Tay.” She said, kissing him. “But I love you anyway.”\n The twins approached the waiter area and just held paws at that point. A finely-dressed otter smiled down from the station at them.\n “Table for how many?” he asked, smiling big.\n “Two, please.” Izzy said, holding up two fingers under her mitten. The waiter looked at her the way adults tended to do when the kids were doing something grown-up.\n “Inside or patio seating?” he said. Izzy pondered what she was asked. What a silly question; it’s freezing out here! One swift gust of wind and she was sure she’d turn to ice!\n “Inside, ple–”\n “Patio! Patio!” Tay said excitedly. Izzy pulled on his paw, looking at him.\n “Are you sure, sir?” Even the waiter figured Tay was crazy.\n “Are you mental?” Izzy asked. Tay just stared at her, smirk creeping. “It’s WAY too cold out here! We can’t eat outside! We might freeze!”\n “Aha! But see, we’ll be eating, so we’ll keep warm! But everyone else will freeze solid! Maybe we’ll see someone freeze into ice then fall over, shattering into a million p-” Izzy shoved a mitten into Tay’s face.\n “We’ll take the inside, please.” she said, sweetly.\n “I know it’s really cold outside, but some people, eh…” he said. “So I had to ask.” he finished,, shrugging his shoulders. Izzy giggled.\n “No, thank you! It IS too cold outside!” she said, smiling. This was the best night ever.\n “Right this way.” he said, grabbing two menus. He led the kids into a smokey wood-laden restaurant interior with many decorations of things from the southern United States. The smell was wonderful and delicious. There were people enjoying their night everywhere she looked and somewhat loud, boisterous country music blasting. It all made Izzy smile big. \n Everywhere they walked, there were crunchy parts under their feet. Izzy looked down to find peanut shells all over the black floor. ‘Oh, yeah,’ she thought, ‘they give you peanuts as you wait… and you can toss the shells anywhere.’ Finally, the kids were led to their table; a double booth with red seating. Tay came up behind the seat Izzy was going to sit in, holding his paw up.\n “Hold on, Iz.” he said, yanking at the façade holding the booth, grunting loudly. Izzy looked between her brother and the puzzled waiter, smiling awkwardly.\n “Uh… Tay… what–”\n “Sir!” Tay shouted, turning to the waiter, “I have a complaint!” The waiter put his paws together with the menus behind them.\n “Okay, what’s the problem, sir?” he said cordially.\n “This seat is deflective!” Tay stated. Izzy put her face in her mitten.\n “‘Defective,’ Tay. Not ‘deflective.’” Izzy said under her breath. Tay stared at the waiter, grabbed a fist full of peanuts, deshelled them, ate them and THREW the shells down on the floor.\n “This seat is stupid!” he yelled. Several people were starting to notice the dingo boy still standing in the aisle. He wasn’t yelling; just… being Tay.\n “What’s ‘stupid’ about it, sir?”\n “It won’t pull out.” Tay said. The waiter looked confused and leaned in closer.\n “I’m sorry; it won’t what? ‘Pull out?’” he said. Tay nodded.\n “I need to pull the seat out for my girlfriend, Izzy! I’m a gentleman and we’re on a date!” Tay said, a little bit of a shout. Izzy’s face went flush and she hid a bit behind her mitten, smiling. Tay just announced to everyone that I’m his girlfriend! She almost didn’t care if anyone they knew had heard.\n “Tay, it’s okay; it’s a booth. Booths don’t move.” Izzy said, paws on his, calming him. Tay looked at Izzy, the waiter, the booth, the peanuts, Izzy, the waiter. Then a weird smile crept onto his face.\n “I’ll have a Mr. Seven!” he said, sitting in the opposite side of the booth, smiling big.         "Rivertown’s coming up soon.” Izzy said, looking at the digital display on a wall near them, watching their blue dot zoom along it’s glowy-green line toward the stationary white dot labeled ‘RIVERTOWN STATION.’ Tay rubbed his belly.
        "Wow, my tummy... I wanna eat some food at the movie." he said. Izzy’s ears perked up.
        "Oh, that's right! Dinner! That’s something people do on dates!” the dingo girl said, excitedly. Tay swung his paw at the air.
        “Nah, I'll just eat at the movie. I’ll ask for a menu." Izzy looked at her brother warily.
         "Tay, it’s not a restaurant; it’s a theatre. We could try that one place that serves food in the theatre, but it's expensive, and we only have so much money for this date." she said, eyes above her glasses.
        "Yeah, only $20 from Dad.”
        "Not just that; we got those gift cards from Auntie and Uncle, remember?" Izzy said. Tay lit up.
        "Oh, yeah! $30 each, right?”
        "Yeah! I haven’t spent mine yet. Have you spent yours?”
        "No, I forgot about it." Tay said, beginning to dig into his pockets. "I don’t have mine.”
        “Ya know, a real man doesn’t forget his wallet." Izzy teased. Tay looked down and embarrassed. "Hey, I’m just pullin' your tail, love." She kissed him. "You're all the man I need.” Tay looked at Izzy with a goofy smile.
        “That was a bit cheesy, sis.” he said. Izzy smiled.
        “Yeah… sorry…” she said, blushing.
        “It’s okay… I was lame earlier; we can be dorks together.” Tay said, throwing an arm around Izzy. They hugged.
        "I got mine, so we have $50 to use." Izzy said.
        "How much food can we buy with that?”
        “We're not trying to buy food with ALL of it, Tay. We gotta save some for other things tonight." the girl said. Tay looked confused.
        The Rivertown station was announced and the little blue dot began to blink red.
        "Look, we'll go to dinner somewhere first-"
        "Then we'll go eat at the movie." Tay interrupted. Izzy frowned.
        "No, Tay, we go eat THEN we go to the movie."
        "But, there’s no food at the theatre. I’m not eating popcorn on my date!”
        “Tay-lor! Stop being irritating! Listen, we're going to a restaurant to eat then the theatre for the movie, okay?" Izzy said. Tay nodded.
        "Okay." he said.
        The train came to a complete stop and the twins exited the monorail car with a mingle of other people. The cold air hit them again. ‘Maybe it was even colder here in Rivertown..?’ Izzy thought, bundling up and clinging to Tay’s arm. The cold air didn’t seem to detract from the beauty of the Rivertown Riverwalk; the sights, the sounds, the smells, lights reflected off the river that ran gently through the center of a huge shopping and entertainment strip. Izzy breathed it in and sighed deeply, leaning her head on Tay’s shoulder.
        “It’s so romantic here, don’tcha think?” Izzy said behind a smile. Tay, paws in pockets, cocked his head.
        “Yeah, guess so.” he said, plainly. Izzy lifted her head and looked at him with lowered eyelids.
        “Tay, trust me, this is super romantic to a girl.” she said.
        “So, where are we eating? Where’s the theatre?” Tay asked.
        “Tay, I told you; we’re not eating at the theatre. We gotta pick a restaurant.” Izzy said, looking around. “What’re ya hungry for?” Tay stood tall, robotically looking left, then right, then at Izzy, then left.
        “Meat.” he said, in a monotone voice. Izzy giggled.
        “Okay, well, just about anywhere is gonna have meat, Tay. What kind of meat?”
        “Manly meat.” Tay said. Izzy cleared her throat.
        “Also, it can’t be too expensive. We need to make this $50 last. What kind of ‘manly meat,’ Tay?” She said. Tay remained quiet.
        “Tay, come on. You want a burger?” Izzy’s voice rose just at the end, almost an attempt to entice him to some American cuisine. Tay’s ears perked. He looked at Izzy then straight ahead and nodded. Izzy stuck her tongue out and pulled Tay’s beanie down over his eyes. “Stop being such a dork.” she said, playfully.
        The twins walked down the wavey walkway, Izzy clung to Tay’s arm, passing people all bundled up and their breaths were visible. The trees along the river side all had Christmas lights in them of various colors. Izzy gasped and pointed out things at, what seemed to Tay, to be random moments. She looked at everything now with a newfound enthusiasm. Ever since she confessed her love to Tay and he confessed to her, everything was was new and exciting in ways that she hadn’t yet known. Tay occasionally punctuated every little moment with ‘I’m still hungry.’
        “Well, I think I see the place we should go to, so you can calm down about that.” Izzy said, eyeing a particularly well-lit sign above an almost deserted patio area, except for a few smokers willing to face the cold.
        Every restaurant along the riverbank had outside patio areas, intermingled with their neighbors so closely, Izzy was sure some places were almost sharing patios. Near the front of each establishment, there was a huge, elaborate sign representing the restaurant with it’s full menu on display. There was a waiter station with men, bundled up and in finely-dressed outfits, waiting to wait. Izzy giggled to herself.
        The dingo bundle passed an italian restaurant and Izzy could smell the garlic bread and hoped that someday, they could go to an Italian restaurant for another date. She looked up ahead and could see the place she was after was across the river, down some more.
        At times, the twins would be given a friendly ‘Hello!’ or ‘How’re you doing this evening?’ to which Izzy responded accordingly. They must all think we ARE boyfriend and girlfriend! She wondered if people could tell they were twins. She looked at Tay and thought about what she was wearing. ‘Well… the lipstick makes it very different…’ she thought.
        “So, where’s this wonder-restaurant ya got?” Tay said, breaking their silence.
        “It’s not a wonder restaurant, Tay. It’s just a restaurant.” Izzy said, looking for a way across the river. She saw a very pretty bridge with a Native American motif along the side. “That bridge; we’re crossing there. See that sign?” Izzy said, pointing. Tay looked up.
        “Where?”
        “Right there, the red, white and blue one.” the girl said.
        “Ahh, yeah, through those trees?” Tay asked.
        “Uh, huh. That’s the Big Steak Roadhouse. They have burgers you like, Tay.” Izzy said as they approached the bridge. Tay scratched his head, looking at Izzy.
        “How do YOU know that?” he asked. Izzy was no longer clinging to him.
        “Because, we ate at one before with Mum and Dad, remember?” Izzy asked, slowing down to let an elderly couple pass. Tay shook his head.
        “It was a few years ago; you loved the burger you got. You said it was… ‘effing awesome…’” Izzy lowered her voice, not even wanting to swear. Tay’s face lit up.
