Izzy and Emiline held paws, walking slowly with heads leaned into each other. They had shared a good long week together, almost sisters. I wondered if Izzy wouldn't want me back as a brother, cus I wasn't Emi, but I knew she loved me regardless.\n We approached the entrance to Emi's terminal and Izzy sobbed, but was quiet the rest of the way, wiping her eyes a bunch, as did Emi. I sat down, waiting to say goodbye to our cousin, watching her and Izzy sway together in a bundle. I always hated this, but now, I felt, I'd hate it even more now, saying bye to Sherry.\n Their flight was called. The flight back to the UK. Emiline turned around, lower lip already trembling bad. Izzy choked and the two girls embraced. There were tears already flowing, though silently. Something in my throat was starting to get me as well. Words were being exchanged, but I didn't hear them aside from usual 'Goodbye' and 'Love you.'\n After the long hard hug between them, Emiline broke from Izzy and turned to me. Something in her wet eyes glistening with tears and teeth baring the pain she hated to endure of leaving her favorite cousin made me choke more and a sob nearly escaped me. But I thought of Sherry standing by. Don't cry. Be a man. Don't cry. Izzy's high pitched sobs, her shakes. Don't cry.\n As the pink flower puff that was Cousin Emi disappeared down the terminal, Izzy squeezed me tight, shaking as she sobbed into my shirt. I reached around and hugged my sister back. My shirt is gonna be very wet, I thought.\n We watched Emi's flight back to the UK take off and Izzy ran to Mum, unable to stop crying. I felt a few more sobs happen myself. God... being so far apart from family was difficult.\n Our somber group trudged down to where our terminal was, flight leaving in less than an hour. Don't Cry

Because of the vast time difference, we had to leave later in the evening from Australia to land in America in the evening on the same day. Clockwise, it was like losing only 50 minutes, but the entire trip would take over 17 hours. We would get our sleep on the trip and any jetlag wouldn't really affect us as we'd be tired from traveling all day and we'd sleep at our normal time. This is how we normally planned our travel when going on trips to Australia.
I didn't get to ride in the same car to the airport as Sherry, which hurt pretty bad. Being a warm Australian winter didn't change how cold it felt without her there. I couldn't find where Sherry and Roland's car was, somewhere behind us, I figured.
We all left the house in a motorcade of 3 vehicles. Sherry might not have been with us, but David was there. I looked at him as he did something or other on his phone. In the seat ahead of us sat his little siblings, Buddy and Missy, next to two girls' heads, leaned in together. I knew it was Izzy and Emi, saddened by having to say goodbye before being separated by half a continent. I started to feel sad overall, leaving family again, leaving Australia again.
"say..." A whisper just over my shoulder accompanied by someone leaning into me. It was David.
"what?" I didn't know whether whispering was entirely necessary as we were the only ones back there and we were hidden beneath little kid noises.
"you gotta girlfriend, right?" I looked at him and nodded.
"y-yeah... back home..." I said.
"what's her name again?"
"becky, why?" I asked just as David scoffed and sat back, crossing his arms. "why?"
"you've never had sex." He said, smirking. Bitch, please, I thought.

"you're just a poser, a kid." I was only 2 years younger than this guy.

"okay, so you don't have a girlfriend? you guys aren't humping?" I felt David's smirk tear at my patience and a growl occurred in my throat.
"i have a girlfriend and i'll stick my dick in her! on cam!" I hissed, hoping no one else heard, but almost not caring. Why was David being such a dick?!
"hehe, okay then." He said, proceeding to exchange online info with me. I was lost in anger and the overall sadness to question it any further. This arsehole needed to be proven wrong!
All the way into the airport was a blur. Sometimes I had tears in my eyes, sometimes we got a little lost, but overall it was sad. Izzy and Emiline held paws, walking slowly with heads leaned into each other. They had shared a good long week together, almost sisters. I wondered if Izzy wouldn't want me back as a brother, cus I wasn't Emi, but I knew she loved me regardless.
We approached the entrance to Emi's terminal and Izzy sobbed, but was quiet the rest of the way, wiping her eyes a bunch, as did Emi. I sat down, waiting to say goodbye to our cousin, watching her and Izzy sway together in a bundle. I always hated this, but now, I felt, I'd hate it even more now, saying bye to Sherry.
Their flight was called. The flight back to the UK. Emiline turned around, lower lip already trembling bad. Izzy choked and the two girls embraced. There were tears already flowing, though silently. Something in my throat was starting to get me as well. Words were being exchanged, but I didn't hear them aside from usual 'Goodbye' and 'Love you.'
After the long hard hug between them, Emiline broke from Izzy and turned to me. Something in her wet eyes glistening with tears and teeth baring the pain she hated to endure of leaving her favorite cousin made me choke more and a sob nearly escaped me. But I thought of Sherry standing by. Don't cry. Be a man. Don't cry. Izzy's high pitched sobs, her shakes. Don't cry.
As the pink flower puff that was Cousin Emi disappeared down the terminal, Izzy squeezed me tight, shaking as she sobbed into my shirt. I reached around and hugged my sister back. My shirt is gonna be very wet, I thought.
We watched Emi's flight back to the UK take off and Izzy ran to Mum, unable to stop crying. I felt a few more sobs happen myself. God... being so far apart from family was difficult.
Our somber group trudged down to where our terminal was, flight leaving in less than an hour. I looked at Sherry, who seemed to be crying as well, red, wet eyes and sniffles. I thought about leaving our favorite aunt. My favorite aunt. My secret lover. God... it was also gonna hit Izzy hard. Would it hit me hard? I looked back at Sherry again. Roland was there, as if nothing had happened that weekend.
David's flight was apparently canceled at some point for some reason I wasn't knowledge enough to know. All I did know was that they were coming on our flight since they were headed to the same airport anyway. Whatever. I shook this concept off. It didn't matter. There was a loud voice and Izzy started whining.
Our upcoming flight was called on the intercom and everyone in our group sighed. It wasn't a terribly sad sigh, just full of knowing. The adults were used to this parting feeling already, I assumed. Mom and Dad hugged family like it was just a week long departure. I looked for Sherry, who was hugging a sobbing Izzy. Oh, man... I could feel it already. My lips quivered. No, no, please. When my mind shot away, trying to think of anything else, I thought about how Sherry and Roland appeared. They seemed a bit happy, which was good. At least I had something to make me feel better.
