Gifts to Muriel by tannim March 09, 2010 "Now what?" Muriel looked at the package the OOPS guy set on the floor inside her door, then at the proffered slate to sign her name. "I didn't order anything, I'm not signing!" "Please, Miss... I need to get the signature before I can get back to work" The OOPS guy, a pig, held out the pen to the squirrel, seemingly oblivious to her lack of arms. Muriel sighed "What is it?" "It just says A Gift From a Concerned Frie..." He said before she interrupted him. "Friend... it's another set of robotic arms, isn't it?" She snapped. "Well... maybe." He offered the pen again. She lifted her right leg up and snatched the pen from his hand with the two inner toes. He held the board up for her as she balanced on her left foot and wrote Muriel on it. The pig looked like he was about to ask for her last name but he dropped it when he saw the look. She held his pen up then kicked the box behind her. After he left she stared at it then sighed and opened it. Twelve other boxes lay unopened against a wall while two open boxes sat with them, both of them with robotic hands dangling out. People couldn't understand that not having arms did mean that she wanted or needed to have them. She looked inside and saw it was from her dragon friend. The picture of him grinning so EVILLY made her decide to look deeper. She pushed the box over to dump everything out and sat on the floor with her tail behind her. Muriel found a note and giggled as she read it then set it aside. The squirrel decided to give THIS set a try. As the four line instructions stated on line one, she stripped first. Her shorts came off with a tug of her toes and a fair bit of squirming where she sat. Her t-shirt slipped off with her tail wiggling under the hem and pulling up. Her panties came off with another quick tug and more squirming while staying more or less seated. The squirrel shook herself and smoothed her fur down with her tail before moving to step two. She lifted the heavy rigid bar with one leg, and a good grunt, bent forward, and carefully set it over her shoulders. After shaking her upper body to make sure they were securely in place, Muriel moved to step three. Press the buttons. She bent forward to study the diagram, then turned her head and pressed the button to her right with her chin, turned her head to the left, and again pressed the button. That done, she read step four. Step four, enjoy your new arms. Muriel stiffened at a sudden discomfort in her shoulders. The metal pads over them had stabbed into the indentation under her shoulder blades where her arms would connect to her. Both inflated, rapidly, and expanded. There was a unpleasant heaviness to her shoulders suddenly and with it, an unwanted lack of balance. Her spine felt the weight and stiffened in response. They expanded out, forming upper and lower arms as she watched. A metalic palm sprouted, then a set of fingers. Each arm looked essentially the same. They were proportional to her body, at first. The rivets and wires everywhere pulsed and flexed as the fully developed. After a moment though, they grew larger, The robotic arms attracted the contents of the other boxes shortly after enlarging. The metal and wiring inside those all tore apart and flew to her. All the spare parts covered the growing arms and she watched in surprise as they grew larger, and longer, and wider. The metal seemed to melt and flow into a smooth, relatively, pair of huge robotic arms. Wires were visible all over the palms where they acted as both sensory and flexibility points. Large rivets decorated areas of the wrist as well as at the tip of each finger. The fingertip rivets were coated in rubber with thin wires running through the material to detect pressure. The joints all fit together smoothly, with huge shoulders powering with hydrolics and a magnetic generator that used her blood sugar and pressure to power it. Massive bolts held the upper and lower arms together with a heavily riveted plate on each side. A thought made the right hand flex and arm flop about. It took a while for her to be able to move them and by then, she was quite bored by it. They were really awkward and Muriel wasn't sure how long she could wear them, or even if she could take them off. She tried to stand up, but they were too heavy. She tried to scoot around, but again, they were too much. Since they were long enough, she could turn on her webcam from where she sat, and eventually managed to do so though she could barely see anything on either side of her around the arms. The squirrel's mouse broke as she tried to use the arms to turn on the camera and record and she sighed as she started. "Honestly, what do you "normal" people see in these "arms"? They're bulky and just get in the way!" Muriel lifted the right hand and arm in a careless gesture. "Sure, they can do a few things, make holes in walls, rip appart jehova's witnesses, mullahs, and other hateful war machines, but they don't appear too practical." She shook her head slowly, her long cheek ruffs swished on either side of her face. "So stop saying I need fucking Robot arms. I don't need arms! I'm happy as I am, it's not my fault you can't be happy unless everybody is like you, "normal"!" The squirrel's tail swished behind her then she looked at the camera again. "And how the hell am I supposed to masturbate with these things?!" Muriel tried to rub a finger between her legs, but stopped it just before she touched herself. She crushed a pair of concrete orbs that had been included in the box. She looked at the camera and grinned. "Next one who sends me another "Gift from a concerned friend" Because I'm not what you consider normal... those will be your balls. Thank you Tannim, for sending these to me, maybe something absurd will get them to realize I'm happy as I am and don't miss what I never had."
