The knob wobbled, the door cracked open, and the entrance was immediately soaking up the heavy rainfall as they got inside and shut the door behind them. Seconds later, they plopped onto the mat was a wet SPLORTCHrtl, laying against the door, shoulder-to-shoulder. The two said nothing, with the only noise being the droning ambiance of the thunderstorm muffled behind the closed door. Finally, one of them spoke up--or cried up, actually. Pink eyes traveled to purple lids, which tears slipped past. "I should've told you about the self-destruction switch...NOW YOUR BIRTHDAY PRESENT'S GONE!" Stimpy screamed. "That's what I worked on for SO LONG, buddy! That's what I spent those few days making...those few days, not knowing I was being mean...not knowing you were sad...and for WHAT?" Stimpy mumbled some other words through all the sputtering from the incessant weeping. The moment Ren held his shoulders, Stimpy swung himself onto him, crying some more. "And I'm sorry about the park! I didn't want you to wet yourself! I didn't want the people to ridicule you! I wanted to respect your wishes and keep your secret about our true love together, but I failed! I failed, I failed, I failed!" Stimpy felt Ren's chest sputtering against his face...then he heard chuckling. "I thought the same, too. But I'll admit, I'm glad I got to fail with you~" Stimpy sniffled. "Me too, Ren. Me too." "Oh, ol' pal..." The manx sat up, still looking somber. "I was the one who started making your birthday turn for the worse," Stimpy told him in a serious manner. "I deserve your abuse. I deserve every single slap brought to my dumb cheeks, and my big, snotty nose," he said angrily. "Discipline me, Ren!" He gripped those tiny dog shoulders. "Destroy meeeeeeeee." Stimpy closed his eyes. "Make it hurt..." He murmured. "Slap, slap, slap," Ren simply tapped his face per every utterance of the word. "There...you happy now?" Stimpy stayed silent for a moment, sniffling. "You're being too nice. After everything I've done to you..." "Well remind me when you get me angry again." he stroked circles around the cat's ear, making the manx stick his tongue out. "Uh...uh-ohhhh...Meester Ren's getting angrieeeerr," Ren scratched the cats ear, making him kick his feet out. "Tuesday the 17th, aka the Unluckiest Day...yeah, well, to hell with that "Unluckiest" part, today was the LUCKIEST day of my life, and I owe it all...to my eediooooottt~" he started scratching Stimpy's belly, making him giggle. Then, Ren leaned against his shoulder, with Stimpy doing the same. They stared at nothing in particular, already holding hands. And there were doing that a long while. Intermittently, they gave each other passing glances, but remained seated the whole time, absolutely happy they're inside, away from the rain. Finally, the cat uttered, "I hope when we wake, the storm will be gone." But his buddy was already sound asleep. ... A yawn pierced the silence of the living room. Ren smacked his lips. He found himself still at the door, but lying on a pillow as well. He peered at the sofa, covered in orange. It was sunset. The chihuahua got up, stretching his arms and back. After all the loud static of the thunderstorm, it felt somewhat jarring to hear the enviorment revert back into normalcy, with the usual quietness of their neighborhood and all, nevermind the chirps of birds here and there...or the sound of kids playing...or even the distant sound of water that was probably still lapping the streets below. Ren went by the window, resting his elbows on the sill, looking outside to see the neighborhood. He was simply glad that the rain had gone, that the sunset was lively and beautiful, and that he was safe and sound at home, with Stimpy-- "Aaaaaaaaaaaaahhhh~" --Who was now going to see the nice sunset with him. Stimpy stretched his arms, and-- BAM-- "Read it n' weep in joy!" a voice rolled past from outside, accompanied by the sound of a bicycle. Stimpy gasped--"The paper!" "Paper? Well why in the hell would they deleever it so la--oh yeah, that's right," he shook his head. The cat went to yank the soggy roll of paper from the doorstep and brought back inside. He opened it up, and his eyes immediately glowed, bouncing happily towards his buddy, arms outstretched with the newspaper. "Look, look, lookie-look, Ren! It's you, it's you!" "...I cuhn shyeeh dahtpt," the chihuahua talked with a faceful of paper. "Oh I'm sorry!" the manx brought away from his face. Ren took the paper from him, reading it aloud. "Lucky Bunny and Sidekeeck Kadoogan Saves Civeelians from the Tuesday the 17th Flood. Wow, the news gets printed fast these days, huh?" Stimpy nodded, folding his hands affectionately. The chihuahua read more of the paper for a moment, and began to smile. "You know...who woulda thought that I actually enjoyed a truly good person, for once? Doing the right thing...huh, let alone SAVING lives. That's the last thing the old me woulda ever THOUGHT of doing." "And I'm so glad they acknowledged what a selfless soul you were, down there!" "Don't forget about you, too." Ren pointed at him. "Eh," the cat shrugged. "Like I said Ren, I'm not much of a real man." Ren sensually muttered under his breath, "Oh I'll make you one--" "Woooowwwwww. Why, that looks sooo beautiful~" Stimpy observed the sunset glowing through the window. "Oh, the sky? Yeah, can't say I disagree." "I wanna get a better view!" Stimpy said as he opened up the curtains. "Gasp number 3! Ren, come look!" Stimpy pointed at something. "Must you be so easily surprised by--what the hell?!" "It's your flowers, Ren! They became a big, beautiful flower-tree!" he exclaimed, seeing the townsfolk gazing at it, playing around with the vines, having picnics on giant petals. "But...but...that's stoopid. How can it...," Ren trailed off into a sigh. "I guess I should be proud. But still...that is the dumbest thing I've seen in my life." "Oh, poo-poo. I thought I was your dumbest..." "Well, buddy," Ren went to turn the blinds, letting sunlight bleed in lines across them and much of the living room. "Let's prove that you truly are the dumbest, with a couple questions." "Okay!" Stimpy quickly lit up with a smile. "Still feel smart?" Stimpy shook his head. "Still feel stoopid?" Stimpy nodded. "Wanna feel this?" "Feel wh--" "Mmmmmmmmmmmwah~" Ren had just stamped lips together. Then, he pulled back. "Do it again~" "Mmmmmmmmm~" Ren groaned, the two of them kissed each other, embracing each other. They slipped to the floor, still sucking each other's faces. "Goddd...I'm swirling my tongue in your mouth...and I can STILL taste a bit of my own piss in there~" "Aaaahhhhh, I love being gross, Ren~ I wanna get even nastier with you~" "Say no more~" They resumed kissing, so deep in the mutual oral love that they twirled on the floor, until they stopped on the rug, laying in the sunrays. Soon, Stimpy picked him up, and they were now looking at each other, smiling with their faces dripping with drool. The feline brought him to the couch, and sat him down. Then, he circled around Ren. "Where are you going?" "Nowhere..." Stimpy was now behind him, admiring his ears for a small moment, and began kneading the tips with his forefinger and thumbs. "Mmmmmmmph~" "I love your ears, Ren~ When we first met, I didn't know you were a dog. I thought you were a bunny rabbit. Such long and soft ears~" He started stroking Ren's ears, scratching along the edges of them, making Ren scrunch his toes. Stimpy always thought it was so adorable, making Ren feel so good~ Ren clenched the armrests of the couch, his spine tingling from the soft sensation of Stimpy's tender fingers catering to his ears. "That's the ticket, oooooooooohhhhhh~" the chihuahua trembled. "A-ah~!" Ren was startled--he felt that big tongue paint spitty strokes on his ears. He trembled...the soft licking, the warm breath, the vibrating purrs...fuck, it all felt so good~ "I'll never ever eat you," Stimpy spoke softly into Ren's ear, "but I'll always love tasting you~" "FUCK~" Ren scuttled his knees together, blushing, twitching as he felt excitement rush through him. Then he felt Stimpy's hands rubbing all over his chest, his heart beating against those gloved palms as they sensually swirled around on his puny abs, thumbs pushing on his nips, fingers aptly giving his chest soft squeezes...Stimpy's big nose reaching over and past his face, taking a nasally gander at his chest, the big blue orb crawling along his ribs, snorting at his sternum~ "I wanna lick, Ren~ I wanna taste your ribs and lick your nipples." "Ooohhohohoo my god, yes~ P-please taste me, my leetle keety~" Stimpy started raking his tongue across Ren's chest enthusiastically, making him breathe shakily, making his heart beat hard as he made Ren's fur matted with his salivating tongue~ Stimpy climbed onto the couch, next to Ren as he slobbered all over the dog's abdomen, making his little man moan...making his little man hard~ Ren was groaning, giving Stimpy's ear a good scratch, his other hand had reached over the back of the couch, tightly gripping the frame. "Goddddddd," Ren whispered, shaking as Stimpy loudly "AHHHLLLLLLLLLLL"d across his chest with a slow, long, breathy lick~ Finally, he gave Ren's tiny nipples each a soft kiss, and then petted the dog's spotty head as he breathed loudly, eyes closed as he recovered from the steamy worship. "Fuck...was about....to cum~" Ren breathed, feeling sweat drizzle down his spitty face as he slowly turned his head and kissed Stimpy. "You're so good to me~" "I do my best~! I love serving my Overlord Renny~!" Stimpy saw his face turn deep red, and thankfully not from anger. He saw the chihuahua batting hus eyes away, his lips droopy, shoulders heightened, obviously bashful from it all. Ren actually kinda hated the nickname "Renny"...but the "Overlord" part was what offset it. Then, he coughed, looking down at his feet. "So 'Overlord'--HUH?" His eyes bugged out. "Where the hell did these come from?" "Ooooohhhh, you finally noticed my final present from you~" Stimpy knelt beside Ren's feet, and theatrically presented his arm across to them. "Behold--soft, fuzzy socks, tailor-made for your feet!" Ren stared at the black pair his large feet were wearing. "I didn't even notice anything different...aside from not feeling the cheelly floor beneath me." "Ya see? You said you hated walking on the cold floors, so I thought to solve the problem! Feel how every toe fits PERFECTLY in like a glove," his friend started to flex his toes, "how I made the cuffs tight enough to where they'll never droop--without the need of glue, this time--and at the same time, they're never uncomfortable," the dog eyed the cuffs, which were laced with red stripes, "and the same goes for your heels, too!" Ren bumped his heels together. So far, everything Stimpy described about the socks were true. "Also, look at your soles!" Ren bent his legs, facing the soles toward each other. He read "HO-EK" on both of them. "I stitched that by using the golden tooth that was in my mouth!" Stimpy smiled. "I wanted to make sure that my best friend in the whole world gets the greatest of gifts~" Ren stared into the socks for a moment, his toes idly having subtle waltzes among themselves. He then began brushing his big, skinny hands along his big, skinny feet. So strange...he wasn't so angry anymore looking at them once again. Now that his mind was in order, he begun to appreciate the weird body he has. Big ears, big hands, big feet...mistakened as a bunny be damned, he loved the body he was given. If Stimpy didn't complain and basked his body in endless love, then so can he~ Oh, his friend Stimpy. One of the good ones. THE Good One, Ren mentally nicknamed him. He was why Ren was feeling so relaxed, at this very moment. Suddenly, Ren was compelled to say what was on his unkempt, spittle-riddled, heartthumping chest. "Steempy," he started, still staring at his socks. His beluved presents. "You're just about the only one who actually remembers and cares about my birthday. I'm the one at fault for being such a jerk in the first place. That's why nobody ever calls me anymore. And me, being mean to you, gosh...such an understatement. A monumental understatement. "I still do not understand why you have remained with me. Why you continue to put up with me. I'm psychotic, for crying out loud. I can admit that I am mad. And...you might say I'm a hero n' all for saving you...but I wouldn't be that way without you. "Honestly, you're more powerful than I. Your superpower is...being so nice. Even at my grouchiest, there's the teensiest bit of butterflies twirling in my stomach everytime I see you smile. Sometimes I can just FEEL that you are. "My heart gets fast when I hear you say something nice. Smell the incredible food you cook. Look at that gentle face of yours while you sleep. Feel you hugging and sitting with me, while I silently read my novels. You're the sparkle admist the darkness. Your eennocence makes my world go round. "But yet, I've betrayed your gifts of kindness. I've slapped, punched, choked, threatened...all these horrible things I brought unto you. I've made you live hell on Earth. That's no way to disrespect a kindhearted man. From your infinite care and compassion for me, I should be the one kissing your feet." "No, no, Ren~" Stimpy gave Ren bedroom eyes. "I should be one kissing your feet~" he slowly massaged those giant chihuahua stompers. "I do everything in my power to make you content, because I love you Ren. I know you were mean to me all those times, because you couldn't bring yourself to admit that you loved me. That must have been very hard for you to do." Ren nodded in response. "And I'm so proud that you did~ Only a REAL MAN would own up to admitting such a difficult topic. There were so many times where I thought, 'Ren's gonna say 'I love you', now!' But the hints were there," Stimpy rested his face on his palms, with flirty eyes. "Y'know, like that 'kissy fairy'....oh Ren, I always knew it was you~ After all, nobody kisses better than you~" Ren sheepishly shrugged and rolled his eyes with a smirk. And yet Stimpy could still notice the somberness in his big orbs. "Please, don't be sad, Ren. It's alright now, honeybunny~ Let's stuff all those mean moments of yours in a box...and you know what, let's stuff my mean moments into that same box as well, wrap it in a bow, say our goodbyes, and ship 'em into the past. "We're here now, we're STILL here now, together! Isn't that great?" Ren slowly nodded. Stimpy chuckled. "It's funny how you forgot again how much of a nice person you became after that one time in the bedroom back at our old place, months ago. That was probably one of the most beautiful moments in my life, because I saw that you learnt to let go, and just be yourself. I can still see it in your eyes all the relief from no longer keeping your feelings to yourself. "What big, relaxed eyes you have, telling your stupid kitty that 'it's alright, I'm not afraid anymore. I love myself, and I love that I also love Stimpy, too.' That's what I think of whenever I gaze into the sweet soul resting cozily inside your pink stare~" Stimpy smiled innocently, locking stares with his friend. He spoke up once more-- "You are an amazing and special person to me. Don't let anybody tell you otherwise." SMOOCH, SMOOCH~ He kissed Ren's big feet. "I love you, ol' buddy." Ren just sat there, silently again. And again, his face unreadable. Then, he dropped his head, looking even sadder...but then his ears rose. "Just hug me, Steempy. Hug me forever." "Oh c'meeeeeere~" Stimpy spread his arms for Ren to collapse into, wrapping his scrawny arms around him. "This is what I'm here for~" Stimpy cooed. "What you said made sense," Ren said softly. "Everything you said about me was right. I may call you a nimrod...but you seem like the only one who actually understands me." It felt so good to rest in his friend's arms, it made him feel safe. Stimpy patted his back lightly, fingers slowly strumming the spinal bumps poking through Ren's slender backside as he slowly rocked himself and the small doggy together. They were like that for at least a minute. "Then I guess it's time we get to the difficult part," Stimpy said. "Huh?" Ren raised his head. "To prove to me that you appreciate my understanding, I'll only ask of you all but one question." "Well, ask away." Then Stimpy went half-lidded, and asked sensually, "Do you love me?" Ren pulled back and sniffled, and saw Stimpy's face full of childlike awe, accentuated by the Sun's rays, before being slipped into his sensual look, with that goofy, tongue-out smile of his. "You stoopid eediot," the chihuahua smirked back and laughed, the golden glow of the sunset shining behind his head, his eyes looking comfortable and content, just as Stimpy described. "Of course I fucking love you! I'll always love you too, ol' pal~" They hugged once more, and Stimpy started lapping his head. "Happy Birthday, Ren~"
