Living and surviving alone in his earliest years feels like it was just last week. On one of his off days, Boe sees his buddy is down and asks if he can do anything to help. Bubs says that he wants to take him into the woods and stay there for a few days. \"Oh, like camping? Sounds fun!\" He goes home and packs up for a fun time with his buddy, little does he know that Bubs' version of camping can be a little extreme...\n\nThe two spend their time \"camping\" like wild animals, or at least Bubs does. He doesn’t even know the word ‘camping,’ so he thinks he’s just showing Boe his old way of life. Boe wanted to make him feel comfortable and understand how his brain works so he followed along the best that he could. Bubs monsters up as usual and spends the rest of their time walking on all fours like a beast, stating that one of the rules of the wild is to “Be scary.” Bubs' next request was for Boe to be one with nature (nude!) just like he is, and also to get rid of the things he brought. He just wants his buddy to understand how his life used to be. Once they’re finally out and about, Bubbles falls right back into his old ways, showing Boe the many ways he used to pass his time when he lived in the wild. Punching and climbing trees, throwing rocks, smashing pinecones with his teeth, chewing sticks… Boe notices a theme of destruction in his early hobbies. When they start getting hungry, Bubs explains to his piggy friend what he used to do (besides eating pinecones) to get food. At night, he would run into a random small village and snag as much food as he could, terrorizing the townsfolk if he got caught before they would eventually chase him off. Boe didn't like the idea of him getting himself in trouble just to get food, but he remembered that Bubs must have been extremely young when he was doing it. He was only trying to survive, and the thought made him a little sad. They settle on eating some wild berries instead. \n\nBefore the night ended, Bubs grabbed Boe (and a nice chewing stick he found) and carried him all the way to a cave he found nearby.
