Day 7
We have stumbled across an unusual species today. It appears the creature is female, due to wearing a two piece undergarment set. It's unusual wing pattern, to which I can only imagine why, seems to be made up of multi colored feathers. It's hair is made up of three rows of folicales, with blue being on the outside and purple on the inside. It's body is white and has blue mammary glands and a light blue pattern running down from it's neck to it's inner thighs. My assistant and I will keep a close eye on it's habits before attempting to make capture in the next couple of days.
Day 9.
Fursat and I have left several horderves and meals out in this winged creatures daily path in an attempt to see what it prefers in comparison with each other. It appears that this creature enjoys platters of shrimp most of all, with a secondary preference to bananas and chilidogs. The creature also seems to eat somewhat in an upright position, using one arm or the other to hold the food, while the other arm and hand help expedite the nutrients into it's mouth. I have observed when the creature seems to be happy, it's red cheek fluff seems to grow sharper and almost glow, as if it is showing appreciation and enjoyment. Once our other assistant Dancer gets here with the rest of our equipment, I think we will be able to capture it.
Day 10 @ 0900
Our assistant has left the equipment needed here overnight and has departed back to the laboratory. I know it will be useful to help bring this creature back with us. The ropes and carbon pole should be sufficient enough to restrain the being during transport. Our other helper crew will start packing up and heading back soon as my assistant and I make haste to try and subdue this rainbow winged oddity.
Day 10 @ 1400
We have managed to successfully tranqualize the creature and have secured her to the carbon rod and will prepare for transport back to the complex soon. We have decided for safety purposes to bind the most extreme parts, the ankles and the wrists, together to make it harder for her to wiggle free or thrash about, potentially hurting herself, Fursat, or myself. Strangely this has left her body in a very awkward position, of which Fursat quickly requested to take the back side of the carrying procedure to "keep an eye on her" as he so delicately put it. We shall begin making haste back to the laboratory now as the creature is waking up.
