It wash't unusual for her to finish off a whole bottle in a matter of hours. It made her sleepy, and in sleep the pain faded away.\n\nShe knew she was slowly but surely turning into a severe alcoholic, but she didn't care. To her, anything to stem a flood of tears over her heartbreak was necessary to keep her going through her lonely days.\n\nThe evening Zant had been destroyed and Ganondorf sealed away had changed both her world - the one of Perpetual Twilight - and the World of Light forever. As her partner had defeated their hated enemy, her powers had been restored, and she transformed from an Imp into her beautiful semi-human form that she remained incarnated within to this day. However she had little choice but to seal the inter-dimensional portal between her world and the World of Light, leaving everything that she cared about there behind her.\n\nBack in the Twilight World, she had gone on to repair all the damage Zant had done during his tyrannical reign, and returned her kingdom from a militarised dictatorship to a utopia of peace and prosperity. But she felt so empty inside. She felt like all of her happiness had been spent on helping everyone but herself. Sure, her world was safe for the near future, that was unquestionable. But her heart had been nearly destroyed in the process of her efforts.\n\nShe could't hold tears back any more. She threw the glass to the floor in rage, the flimsy container smashing on the ground with the contents spilling out and staining the rug red. Tears welling into her eyes, her greatest regret ran into her mind. She wished she had held the portal open and dragged her partner into it.
