"description": "I decided to post this drawing with a progress sequence in an attempt to prove a point. This is a basic explanation of how I go about making the naughty >~>\nMoP 101 IN SESSION!\n\n1: create a sketch! My sketches come from the depths of whatever hides in my head. I do NOT trace over CP! Yes, someone here thinks I trace over real photos apparently <~ and reason for this step by step.\n\n2: outline your naughty sketch! Yes, outlining helps out alot. Most pros will not do this, instead they can takes days if not weeks to complete a lineless drawing. Outlines are sexy. DO THIS IN HIGH RESOLUTION. 3000-5000 Dpi is recommended, and keep working on hs until image is done. \n\n3: once your outline layer is complete you will want to duplicate it at least twice. You will then have 3 outline layers. One you can hide and use in case you fuck up later on and to select certain areas of the image without problems, allowing you to work fast and pretty. The second layer you will use for \"Basic, or base colors\"\n\n4: the third and final outline layer will be for what's shown here. Here is where the magic happens for me. I love shading in drawings. You will shade in GREYSCALES, from the blackest black all the way to the whitest white. You will start picking up greys as you go, and use your blend tools to smooth everything out. this step mostly for skin. \nI love skin \nCubs have fur, I know.. \nC= \nOh! You may have a hard time in the beginning, learning where shadows and lights hit the body takes time, and practice. \n\n5: now your shades are done! PUT THIS LAYER AT THE TOP OF LAYER LIST. You don't want any layers blocking this one, because now you will set this layer with a SOFT LIGHT or MULTIPLY property. And now create a new layer. Make sure this new layer is between your BASE COLOR layer and your GREYSCALE SHADOWS layer. Set this layer to MULTIPLY and fill it with a dark skin tone of your choice, depending on what colors your picked for your character. You can play around with colors to see what fits best.\n\n6: to give your pic depth, select the eraser tool, begin to erase away the new MULTIPLY layer where your highlights are. Since you FILLED the layer with one single color, this works for every area of the drawing. Hair, eyes, clothing, etc. \nNote: you can have more than one of these multiply layers. MoP 101 IN SESSION!
1: create a sketch! My sketches come from the depths of whatever hides in my head. I do NOT trace over CP! Yes, someone here thinks I trace over real photos apparently <~ and reason for this step by step.
2: outline your naughty sketch! Yes, outlining helps out alot. Most pros will not do this, instead they can takes days if not weeks to complete a lineless drawing. Outlines are sexy. DO THIS IN HIGH RESOLUTION. 3000-5000 Dpi is recommended, and keep working on hs until image is done.
3: once your outline layer is complete you will want to duplicate it at least twice. You will then have 3 outline layers. One you can hide and use in case you fuck up later on and to select certain areas of the image without problems, allowing you to work fast and pretty. The second layer you will use for "Basic, or base colors"
4: the third and final outline layer will be for what's shown here. Here is where the magic happens for me. I love shading in drawings. You will shade in GREYSCALES, from the blackest black all the way to the whitest white. You will start picking up greys as you go, and use your blend tools to smooth everything out. this step mostly for skin.
