", "writing": "[b](Shadow’s POV)\n[/b]\n\nWhite coat, a pair of eyeglasses, a blue pen and an ID with a suffix written ‘M.D.’ at the end of my name.\n\nI am Shadow the Hedgehog and I am proud to call myself a resident doctor at the current moment here in Mobius General Hospital. \n\nI have just began my residency a few weeks ago and I’ve been observing and assisting in medical procedures under the close eye of senior residents or attending physicians for the last couple of weeks as well as accompanying them during hospital rounds.\n\nBasically, being a resident doctor, one of my competencies include working with the medical team to provide direct patient care and it mostly includes diagnosing medical conditions, clinical rounds, dealing with newly admitted patients to obtain some medical and family history, perform physical examinations and providing management and treatment plans for patients. I may be able to perform some minor or major surgeries but I am still not authorized to do any of those procedures on my own unless it’s under a direct supervision of a senior doctor.\n\nHowever, there was a time where I wasn’t able to follow that basic rule due to a medical emergency and that occurred just a few hours ago. \n\nDuring that time, all of the senior doctors are in a conference and I am the only doctor around. \nA patient was rushed in and is complaining of abdominal pain. The signs and symptoms as well as the lab works immediately ruled out ‘Appendicitis’ and if that patient wasn’t operated on immediately, his appendix might rupture and he could die from infection. \n\nThe nurses urged me to perform the procedure if I want to save the patient regardless of the consequences because that’s exactly what they would do if they were in my shoes. \n\nDespite knowing the principles of ethics inside and out, I have decided to disregard the rules and focused on one principle: The Quality of Life.\n\nWith that, I ordered for the patient to be prepared for operation as I began scrubbing up for the procedure. Despite knowing the consequence of performing a surgical procedure unattended, I disregarded that thought and proceeded with the operation.\n\nThe patient was a 19 year old male dog with a family history of hypertension from his father’s side and a history of Diabetes Type 2 on his mother’s side. Other than that, the patient has no known food and drug allergies and is living a healthy lifestyle so that still makes him a perfect candidate for a low risk patient.\n\nI guess I was just lucky and the probability of success is high which makes me feel somehow confident in performing the procedure. High risk patients are a different story, though. \n\nThe surgical procedure was smooth and not to mention that it was a success. The patient was able to recover without complications and it made me feel good inside to be able to save his life. However, my superiors didn’t take that heroic act too kindly; especially my father, Darius, who’s currently the head of the Cardiology Department. \n\nSo, during my late night shifts when most of the patients are already asleep and are currently stable, my father pulled me out of the wards and dragged me into the doctor’s lounge.\n\n“What in chaos’s name were you thinking, Shadow?!” he crossed his arms and stared daggers at me like I’ve done the most horrible thing in the world. \n\n“I only did what’s right! I saved the patient,” I deftly argued without thinking twice. I did what I had to and I had no regrets performing that surgical procedure. \n\nHis brows only furrowed in response. \n\n“You did save the patient but what if that patient died on that table?! Not only will you lose your license but can also get sued along with the OR team you’ve worked with as well! It’s outrageous to take a foolish risk like that!”\nAs usual, his temper has gotten the better of him again and he’s taking every ounce of his frustration on me. \n\n“The patient had no complications at the end of the procedure so there’s nothing that you should be worried about,” I snapped back at him.\n\n“That’s still against hospital policy!” he retorted which rendered me speechless but soon found my voice once again.\n\n“What about you? What would you do if you’re in my shoes? Would you rather allow that patient to die because of that damn hospital policy?” \n\nI could have sworn I saw him flinch at my statement but knowing how prideful he is, there’s no doubt that he would find a way to counter my statement. \n\n“This isn’t about me, Shadow. This is about you and your foolishness!” \n\n“If saving a life is something that you deem as an act of ‘foolishness’ then what’s the use of wearing this white coat anyway?!” I pointed at the white coat I’m wearing as I mimicked the same scowl that he possessed. \n\nHe just stood there with a look of indifference.\n\n“You know, what? Forget it. I’m fed up with this profession if all you’re going to do is point out my faults while disregarding your own!” I took off the white coat I wore and threw it at the side. “I tried to be like you. I tried my best to live up with your expectations but sadly, I cannot. So, I’m leaving.”\n\nI was about to take a step to get away from him but I was halted when he called out to me.\n\n“Wait,” I heard him say and I turned around just to see him with a calm expression on his face instead of a scowl. I got startled when he suddenly took off his white coat and threw it at the side. “Running away is even more foolish, boy.” \n\nHe walked closer to me and I got startled when he breached my intimate space and pinned me on a nearby wall both with his gaze and his hands.\n\n“W-what are you…doing?” I asked with widened eyes.\n\n“Let’s settle this argument not as doctors, but as mere mobians. I’m just worried…” he calmly said. His deep baritones reaching my ears made my heart skip a beat in response. I’ve always find my father’s voice somehow appealing for a strange reason I couldn’t understand, “…that you would lose everything you’ve worked so hard for because of that foolish mistake…” he brushed a hand on my muzzles that made me jump in surprise.\n\n“F-father, what the hell are you doing?!” I angrily spat at him for his sudden peculiar gesture as I attempted to push his hand away from my face only to be stopped with his strong grip.\n\n“Saving your career,” he huskily told me as he deftly took my lips with his own that made my eyes widen in response. \n\n‘What the hell?!’ My thoughts began skyrocketing upon feeling my own father’s lips on my own.\n\n‘Chaos, this is insane!’ I thought as I finally found the urge to push him away from me with every strength I could muster but he only responded with my resistance by deepening the kiss.\n\nThe moment I felt his tongue invade inside my mouth, my mind started going crazy as if it started releasing large doses of endorphins inside me.\n\nMy knees buckled at the feel of his warm tongue tracing every crevice in my mouth. I attempted to push him away again with all of my strength but the gripping powers of his mouth in mine is way stronger than I could imagine; or perhaps the sorcery of his kiss has somehow weakened me now.\n\nInstead of pushing him away, I only dug my own grave and pulled him closer to me by gripping his collar towards me. I only added more fuel to the flame burning inside of us and he took that gesture kindly by torridly kissing my lips until it bruised before leaving my lips for a few seconds to kiss the underside of my jaw and going back to assault my lips again. The pain and pleasure that mixed together from his aggression made me crave the feeling even more. \n\nHowever, a part of me is still reluctant to truly give in to this feeling because this is so damn wrong. \n\n[i]He’s my father and I am his son. We’re relatives, for chaos’s sake. But why does this feel so right? Why is it that I am not hesitant to his advances anymore? White coat, a pair of eyeglasses, a blue pen and an ID with a suffix written ‘M.D.’ at the end of my name.

I am Shadow the Hedgehog and I am proud to call myself a resident doctor at the current moment here in Mobius General Hospital.

I have just began my residency a few weeks ago and I’ve been observing and assisting in medical procedures under the close eye of senior residents or attending physicians for the last couple of weeks as well as accompanying  them during hospital rounds.

Basically, being a resident doctor, one of my competencies include working with the medical team to provide direct patient care and it mostly includes diagnosing medical conditions, clinical rounds, dealing with newly admitted patients to obtain some medical and family history, perform physical examinations and providing management and treatment plans for patients. I may be able to perform some minor or major surgeries but I am still not authorized to do any of those procedures on my own unless it’s under a direct supervision of a senior doctor.

However, there was a time where I wasn’t able to follow that basic rule due to a medical emergency and that occurred just a few hours ago.

During that time, all of the senior doctors are in a conference and I am the only doctor around.
A patient was rushed in and is complaining of abdominal pain. The signs and symptoms as well as the lab works immediately ruled out ‘Appendicitis’ and if that patient wasn’t operated on immediately, his appendix might rupture and he could die from infection.

The nurses urged me to perform the procedure if I want to save the patient regardless of the consequences because that’s exactly what they would do if they were in my shoes.

Despite knowing the principles of ethics inside and out, I have decided to disregard the rules and focused on one principle: The Quality of Life.

With that, I ordered for the patient to be prepared for operation as I began scrubbing up for the procedure. Despite knowing the consequence of performing a surgical procedure unattended, I disregarded that thought and proceeded with the operation.

The patient was a 19 year old male dog with a family history of hypertension from his father’s side and a history of Diabetes Type 2 on his mother’s side. Other than that, the patient has no known food and drug allergies and is living a healthy lifestyle so that still makes him a perfect candidate for a low risk patient.

I guess I was just lucky and the probability of success is high which makes me feel somehow confident in performing the procedure. High risk patients are a different story, though.

The surgical procedure was smooth and not to mention that it was a success. The patient was able to recover without complications and it made me feel good inside to be able to save his life. However, my superiors didn’t take that heroic act too kindly; especially my father, Darius, who’s currently the head of the Cardiology Department.  

So, during my late night shifts when most of the patients are already asleep and are currently stable, my father pulled me out of the wards and dragged me into the doctor’s lounge.

“What in chaos’s name were you thinking, Shadow?!” he crossed his arms and stared daggers at me like I’ve done the most horrible thing in the world.

“I only did what’s right! I saved the patient,” I deftly argued without thinking twice. I did what I had to and I had no regrets performing that surgical procedure.

His brows only furrowed in response.

“You did save the patient but what if that patient died on that table?! Not only will you lose your license but can also get sued along with the OR team you’ve worked with as well! It’s outrageous to take a foolish risk like that!”
As usual, his temper has gotten the better of him again and he’s taking every ounce of his frustration on me.  

“The patient had no complications at the end of the procedure so there’s nothing that you should be worried about,” I snapped back at him.

“That’s still against hospital policy!” he retorted which rendered me speechless but soon found my voice once again.

“What about you? What would you do if you’re in my shoes? Would you rather allow that patient to die because of that damn hospital policy?”

I could have sworn I saw him flinch at my statement but knowing how prideful he is, there’s no doubt that he would find a way to counter my statement.  

“This isn’t about me, Shadow. This is about you and your foolishness!”

“If saving a life is something that you deem as an act of ‘foolishness’ then what’s the use of wearing this white coat anyway?!” I pointed at the white coat I’m wearing as I mimicked the same scowl that he possessed.

He just stood there with a look of indifference.

“You know, what? Forget it. I’m fed up with this profession if all you’re going to do is point out my faults while disregarding your own!” I took off the white coat I wore and threw it at the side. “I tried to be like you. I tried my best to live up with your expectations but sadly, I cannot. So, I’m leaving.”

I was about to take a step to get away from him but I was halted when he called out to me.

“Wait,” I heard him say and I turned around just to see him with a calm expression on his face instead of a scowl. I got startled when he suddenly took off his white coat and threw it at the side. “Running away is even more foolish, boy.”

He walked closer to me and I got startled when he breached my intimate space and pinned me on a nearby wall both with his gaze and his hands.

“W-what are you…doing?” I asked with widened eyes.

“Let’s settle this argument not as doctors, but as mere mobians. I’m just worried…” he calmly said. His deep baritones reaching my ears made my heart skip a beat in response. I’ve always find my father’s voice somehow appealing for a strange reason I couldn’t understand, “…that you would lose everything you’ve worked so hard for because of that foolish mistake…” he brushed a hand on my muzzles that made me jump in surprise.

“F-father, what the hell are you doing?!” I angrily spat at him for his sudden peculiar gesture as I attempted to push his hand away from my face only to be stopped with his strong grip.

“Saving your career,” he huskily told me as he deftly took my lips with his own that made my eyes widen in response.

‘What the hell?!’ My thoughts began skyrocketing upon feeling my own father’s lips on my own.

‘Chaos, this is insane!’ I thought as I finally found the urge to push him away from me with every strength I could muster but he only responded with my resistance by deepening the kiss.

The moment I felt his tongue invade inside my mouth, my mind started going crazy as if it started releasing large doses of endorphins inside me.

My knees buckled at the feel of his warm tongue tracing every crevice in my mouth. I attempted to push him away again with all of my strength but the gripping powers of his mouth in mine is way stronger than I could imagine; or perhaps the sorcery of his kiss has somehow weakened me now.

Instead of pushing him away, I only dug my own grave and pulled him closer to me by gripping his collar towards me. I only added more fuel to the flame burning inside of us and he took that gesture kindly by torridly kissing my lips until it bruised before leaving my lips for a few seconds to kiss the underside of my jaw and going back to assault my lips again. The pain and pleasure that mixed together from his aggression made me crave the feeling even more.

However, a part of me is still reluctant to truly give in to this feeling because this is so damn wrong.

He’s my father and I am his son. We’re relatives, for chaos’s sake. But why does this feel so right? Why is it that I am not hesitant to his advances anymore? Does the bond we share before when I was still young until now fostered these feelings to build up? Have I been feeling something for him all along?

This is insane. I couldn’t possibly like what he’s doing to me but I am tolerating it for an odd reason. Maybe being a virgin for so long fired the urge to be touched by someone desperately and he’s making me lose all of my inhibitions especially when his fiery kisses travel down to my neck.

“Uh…what happened to you, Shad?” he asked as he placed his cup down on the coffee table to get a good look at me. “Geez, man, you look like you just woke up from your bed back when we were still dorm mates,” he said uneasily as though trying to slip in some humor. “Not to mention that your scent reeks in this place. Have you set the heater on high or…” he lowered his lids and smirked, “…have you been fantasizing about the nurses to relieve some stress?” he joked.  

Realizing what his joke meant, I felt my muzzles warming up.

“Shut up, Sonic!” I stubbornly said as I shook my head to regain my composure but no matter what I do, I couldn’t get this heat off me. I just had to find a way to get rid of it and with Sonic being able to sniff my arousal, it made the situation even worse.

However, for a strange reason, his presence alone in this room is only making the heat in my body worse.

“S-Shad?! What the hell are you doing?!” he asked and I just responded by giving him a tight lock on the lips but that was soon disrupted when he pulled me away from him.

“Hey buddy, snap out of it! Are you on drugs or something?” he tried to snap me out of my lust-filled mind but it was already too late. It has completely taken over me. “He may have got you good, but I can do better,” he said as he kissed my forehead, my muzzles and the underside of my jaws. The spark he’s igniting inside of me is starting to take over my senses until he stopped again which made my inner self whimper.

“Uh…Shad, can I ask a favor?”

His words startled me enough and not to mention, it has piqued my curiosity as well.

“What?”

I frowned and raised an eyebrow at him as I’m beginning to understand what he’s trying to tell me. Although, I did feel a sense of relief at the thought of him not leaving like I assumed he would.

I gave him a reassuring smile as though telling him that I am not against with his idea and I am willing to participate in it.

My muzzles glowed red as I got out of the restroom wearing a nurse’s uniform that we got on the staff room.

(Shadow’s POV)

“Say what?!” My father exclaimed as the OB doctor backed out in fright.

My father looked at me straight in the eye then he shifted his gaze fiercely at Sonic, who’s silently standing by my side and holding my hand before shifting it back to the OB doctor before us who nervously held a transducer probe on my pregnant belly.

“Triplets, doctor. Y-your son is having triplets. Two boys and one girl,” said the doctor nervously as she pointed at the ultrasound screen before us.

Multiple pregnancies aren’t uncommon in Sonic’s family for he and his siblings were triplets as well and it’s enough to surprise my father that someone with such a family history would be the one to impregnate me because in our family, we also have a history of multiple pregnancies as well since my father and my uncle are born twins.

“I know that! I could see it clearly, I’m a doctor, for chaos’s sake! I’m just…bewildered at the thought that my son played house with Dr. Jules’ boy here,” he crossed his arms in frustration while Sonic just looked at him in indifference.

“Is that a problem, old man? Maybe you’re just jealous because I got him knocked up before you even had the chance,” Sonic had a cocky grin on his face as though he’s challenging my father. “Yeah, I could tell you’ve been undressing Shadster from head to toe behind that intimidating scowl of yours.”

My father gritted his teeth upon hearing Sonic’s challenging remark but chose not to let his temper get the better of him, especially in the presence of his future grandchildren that are displayed in the monitors before him.

“So, what are you going to do about it?” Sonic asked as he crossed his arms for which my father responded with the same gesture.

“You may have fucked my son good, but I assure you, I could fuck him better,” he gave Sonic a challenging smirk and with that he left the room leaving the OB doctor petrified at his words while Sonic and I just sighed in defeat.

“Geez, Uncle D is being a dick again. Glad to know it wasn’t his dick that got you first, though.”

With that remark, I smacked Sonic’s head with the back of my hand. “You’re making the OB doctor uncomfortable!”

“Alright, I’m sorry,” said Sonic as he laughed uneasily while the OB doctor pretended not to hear anything.

I guess this is the consequence for performing a surgery unattended. I swear, I’d never break the rules again.
