Last week marked the second month of their relationship, but Shameen was unsure how Shema felt about him: she had given him a small anniversary gift and had never turned him down for a date, and was always cheerful and energetic. But not romantic or passionate. With little experience of his own, and less self-esteem, he had hoped she would take the lead in that regard, but was so far disappointed.
But things were potentially looking up: he had matched with a cute Spaniel a few days ago on FurMeet and they had spent last night chatting online for several hours. However...
Shameen pulled into his assigned parking space and turned the car off, swallowing a sudden bout of nervousness. He turned to Shema, who was already watching him expectedly, waiting for their usual kiss. She had a small, friendly, smile on her face, but said nothing.
"Uh, Shema...look, I have to ask..." he started, fumbling for his words.
"Ask what, dear?" Ever expressive, her head tilted in confusion, probably without her realizing it.
"It's been two months, and...uh...I'm not sure how you feel about me!" The confessional part of the sentence came out in a rush, hurried along by his nervousness and the unpleasant anticipation that he was about to be made single, again. "I really enjoy spending time with you and I'd like our relationship to move forward, but I don't know if you do..."
His ears flat against his skull, he flushed and looked away, embarrassed, but, not wanting to be rude, turned back to look at her, anxious at what he would see.
Shema was at a loss for words, partially out of surprise, but mostly due to shame. She thought she was ready for a relationship when she signed up on FurMeet and was curious, then very happy, to have met another Katta near enough to her apartment to start dating. She liked Shameen immediately, feeling comfortable with his shy, quiet personality, and their dates were calm, relaxing, and fun, a pleasant contrast to what she was accustomed to.
Seeking a change from the causal hookups that she pursued after her breakup with Baron, Shema had been determined to find a male who loved her, but only now realized that had been at the cost of withholding a part of herself from this one that she truly cared about. Time to put that to an end.
She grinned, leaned across to him, and slowly slid the tip of her tongue along his mouth. Pulling away only barely, she gazed into his eyes as she unlatched his seatbelt and worked the button and fly of his pants. Probing delicately, she felt his erection throb through his boxer shorts and tasted his breath in her mouth as his breathing became heavy with excitement and anticipation.
She licked his mouth again. "This is how I feel about you, my dear..." she purred as she pulled him out of his boxers and leaned across his lap.
