By now, the coils around her neck clamped down so much that no air would reach her tortured lungs. It was a bold attempt to tough out the constriction and wait for the python to let her go in frustration. Surely, the beast wanted her dead before consuming her. She tried her best, keeping her ears open for those native islanders. They weren't too far. Maybe one of them could get the snake with a blow dart if they came this way.\n\nChibiusa truly thought her ploy had worked when the two thick coils around her torso loosened up. Yes, the python was giving up against her tenacity. It didn't think she was worth the wait. A spark of hope tickled her heart... before she felt something slimy clamp down on both of her feet.\n\nNo, Chibiusa thought in disbelief, her heart sinking back into its regular despair. Please.\n\nBut yes. The python had widened its maw and swallowed her feet. It gulped in her ankles and calves like they were oversized ramen noodles. It especially seemed to savor her knees and thighs the most. Chibiusa miraculous held her breath as long as she could instead of succumbing to panic. A more sobering despair had claimed her thoughts as it finally sunk in how she never had a chance.\n\nThe python swallowed her hands and bound wrists before working his way up her belly and flat chest. All the while, it still gripped her throat tightly to keep her from screaming her head off until... it didn't. It had only been five minutes but when Chibiusa gasped in actual air, it felt like five centuries ago. She would've been glad... if she didn't look down to see the python looking back at her. It was up to her shoulders and looking back at a menacing glare, warning her that she was too late.\n\n\"Help...\" Chibiusa hacked and wheezed out, looking back upside for... anyone. \"Please...\" However, the intensive chokehold had strained her throat way too much to make her voice scream the way she wanted it too.
