"writing": " They found Aurora under a mimosa tree; at least, that’s what they tell her. She doesn’t really believe them, though, because she’d never actually seen one. Of every time she slipped out of the city, all she saw were the same old trees like pines and oaks. It didn’t bother her, though; she still loved the outdoors. Sometimes, if she got far enough, she actually wouldn’t be able to hear the city. It was pure bliss to her. She’d get up into a tree and look out into the endless horizon, imagining of all the things that would be great. Sometimes she’s find a large rock next to a creek she found and stretch out on it, basking in the warmth of the sun and taking a little nap. Those were her lazy days.\n On one of these particular days, she was napping on her rock when she heard a tramping approach her through the autumn leaves. Her ears snapped to the noise and she lept up, teeth bared and knife wielded. She growled (as cats do, from deep in the throat) and hid behind a tree, searching for the potential assailant. A figure approached the rock she was napping on and looked at it before calling out in a familiar voice, “Aurora, are you here?” \n Aurora’s ears immediately dropped and she stopped growling. She stepped from behind the tree and replied, “Good God, Jewel, you scared me half to death,” then sheathed her knife and walked towards her friend.\n “Ah, there you are!” Jewel beamed and embraced her friend. They hugged momentarily before Aurora questioned, “So what brings you out here Jewel? I do hope it’s good news...” Fear flashed in Aurora’s eyes, the danger of the present age momentarily bearing down on her. Jewel was quick to keep that from happening, replying “Of course! I just wanted to remind you that today is tally day.. Did you forget?”\n Aurora looked to the city wide-eyed then back to her friend. “Shit! How long do I have?!” Jewel rubbed the back of her head and closed her eyes, laughing nervously. “Eh... about 15 minutes? Sorry I didn’t warn you sooner, but--” She trailed off, opening her eyes to see her friend already gone with no trace left put a soft patter in the distance, towards the city...",
