The year is 3700. The planet name is Teteran. After a 2500 year species war the wolves finally took control of one entire hemisphere of this planet. The wolves whose population is now at 3 billion have taken control of one side of the world and look to conquer the other side. The other side is more complicated for them even though their military technology is way above the other furs they don’t have the ability to match the magic use on the other side of the world. The wolves now have a society in which they dominate and any other fur is either a slave or a servant. There are a few non-wolves who are free but they are treated so horribly when free that most return to a life of serving the wolves. 
The other side is in chaos. The surviving species have nowhere reached the sheer numbers of the wolves and are constantly fighting over land and resources. They have no government or even country boundaries just species domains which are constantly changing due to nomadic species and expanding empires. 
Our story follows the events of a boy a hybrid between a Snow tiger and a wolf. His mother is a snow tiger. His father is a wolf from the Eastern hemisphere. He is 3 years old right now his name is Vincent Juhhal. He has his mother’s tiger fur pattern but has his father’s wolf features. He has 2 brothers a full blooded Snow tiger named Luhull age 8 and a hybrid like him age 5 named Jacob Jr., he has his father’s dark purple fur and a wolf’s muzzle and paws. He has a feline tail which is what identifies him as feline\canine hybrid. Right now the family is running away their village was decimated by an army of hyenas who want to take over this territory.
“luh keep running do not let them catch you or your brothers”
“I am trying mom”
They were running down a dirt road when a jeep came up behind them. It was full of hyenas with machine guns drawn. They appeared to be enchanted guns which were the favorite weapon of the hyenas. They gave chase to the family of four. When Lallah the mother turned to face the oncoming truck. A charm bracelet on her wrist started glowing.
“earth spikes” she yelled then punched the ground. Spikes emerged from the ground and stopped the truck. A few hyenas came through the spikes that surrounded their jeep and started firing at lallah.
“earth wall” she yelled and punched the ground again. This time a wall of earth appeared between her and the hyenas. She signaled her cubs to keep running. She started to move away from the wall when it exploded. It was shot by an RPG. 
“MOM!” Luhull screamed. He gathered his magic and activated his charm.
“Water Bomb!” he yelled and he gathered a glob of water in the air and threw it at the hyenas coming through the wall. They were washed back as the 3 cubs ran over to their bleeding mother.
“I said run boys” Lallah said in a quiet voice.
“I am not leaving you mom. We have to get out of here”
“Luhull you must get Vincent out of here. He has the golden core. He can save the world and bring peace to the species.”
“Mom I can’t take care of them without you. You have to come”
“my time in this world is running out I regret that I won’t be able to see my boys grow older into respectable young men”
“mom!”
“I am sorry luh. You have great magic talent I know you can get them to the next tiger settlement safely. Please luh do this favor for mommy”
“YOU 4 AREN”T GOING ANYWHERE!” yelled a hyena holding a pistol. Luh moved to defend his fallen mother
“you aren’t hurting her anymore”
“LUH!”
“YOU DIE FIRST KID” the hyena shot the pistol at Luh. Vincent saw the bullet heading towards his brother and knew it was dangerous. A golden star mark on his chest began to glow. His blue stripes turned gold and his body began to emit a gold light. The bullet stopped before it hit luh and the hyena started to shiver with fear.
“the kid has a golden core!”
Luh took the chance to wrap a collar of water around the hyenas neck. He then froze the water and choked the hyena to death. He ran over to his mother.
“Mom!”
“you see your brother protected you. He must survive”
“Mom we need you! I can’t take care of them without you”
“you will have to luh!”
“LALLAH!” screamed a wolf approaching in a jeep with soldiers. It was accompanied by at least 10 other jeeps full of fully armed soldiers.
“Dr Jacob?!” Luh asked the wolf who jumped out of the jeep and ran over to the cubs.
“Lallah!?”
“Jacob? Is that you”
“it is me what happened to you?”
“the village was destroyed”
“dang I was too late.”
“Jacob you have to take the cubs”
“I know Jr and Vincent are my sons”
“please could you take Luhull with you”
“I was already planning too.”
“I am sorry I cannot come with you”
“Lallah, this is my fault I should have gotten here faster”
“not your fault Jacob. I know I complicated your life but please take care of my cubs please?”
“I told you before they are my cubs too all of them even Luh.”
“I am glad I met you Jacob…”
“LALLAH!?” 
She had passed away from the injuries from the explosion.
“Sir we have hostiles approaching us we need to move”
“Okay general. You kids are coming with me right now!”
“but what about mom!?”
“She is already dead luh just come with me now she gave her life so you could live now get your brothers and let’s go”
“Alright” luh said while sobbing he grabbed Jr’s paw while Jacob picked up Vincent.
“general we are ready get us to the airstrip now”
“yes sir” 
The convoy of jeeps drove off leaving the dead body of Lallah there.
They arrived at an airstrip where a private jet awaited them. Jacob dragged luh and the young hybrids to the Jet.
“get onboard” Jacob yelled clearly emotional right now.
A butler was helping the kids get buckled in for takeoff. Jacob told the butler to get a meal prepared for the cubs and bring them some drinks. After a while the butler returned with drinks after the plane had taken off. Vincent and Jacob where cuddling up with their big brother both fearful of the wolf in front of them.
“sir there may be a problem with the papers for master luhull”
“what is the problem?”
“his status is classified as a slave sir”
“what?! I clearly applied for adoption papers”
“someone seemed to have changed the application sir”
“I know who. It was my Mother. I shall deal with it but give the agency a call and tell them about the mix up they should be more than happy to fix it.”
“I will get on that sir”
“good you may leave us now”
“yes sir”
With that the butler left. Vincent and Jacob were starting to cry again but Luhull comforted them.
“Do you remember who I am Luhull?”
“yes dr. Jacob”
“I am sorry we had to leave your mom behind”
“*sniff* why did you come back anyway I thought you left for good”
“I would never leave you cubs behind. Even you Luh you may not be my real son but I always have thought of you as one.”
“but you left when Vincent was born!”
“I had to. The elders grew suspicious of me. Your mother was going to leave with me but she loved her clan so much she could not leave it. I was very worried when she sent me a message saying you were in danger. I came back to get you cubs out but I was too late”
“*sniff* I just want my mommy back”
“come here you!” The wolf cuddled the snow tiger. Then pulled the 2 hybrids into a 3 way hug
“I know you cubs are hurting but I will do everything I can to make that hurt go away just trust me”
Jacob continued the hold the cubs tight for the rest of the flight.
Ten years have passed since Jacob rescued the 3 cubs from the war torn part of the world. The wolves have since set up a colony in the western hemisphere using it as a slave trading route. They buy prisoners of war and ship them over to be slaves to the wolves. 
Hybrids have been something wolves have dealt with and most wolves consider them to be an insult to their species. Some become slaves to their wolf parents some become recognized as wolves but suffer from a huge social stigma against them. Even more stigmatized are free non-wolves who have been adopted by a wolf. Most have so much trouble after leaving their parents they end up in slavery even though their parents are wolves. These are the problems facing Vincent and his family right now and to make matters worse Their Father Jacob Fangz  sr. is an alpha.
The reason the wolves took control during the early stages of the 2000 year war was they found the alpha phenom and utilized it to its fullest potential.
The alpha phenom is a genetic mutation that occurred in the early stages of the war. The wolves found a way to identify alphas. Alphas have enhanced intelligence physical powers and leadership capabilities. In magic species they also have enhanced magic talent. The wolves found theirs and trained them to lead. Thanks to their contributions alphas are given a special status. They are given political power over areas and are worshipped by the regulars. 
Everyone is required to have an id that has symbols of their status. R signals regular wolves. A stands for alpha. S stands for Slave and H(A) is given to relatives of alphas who are related but not alphas themselves.  Luhull was has H(A),R on his ID. The others all have A. Including Bryce their brother. Bryce was the result of a negotiation between Jacob and his parents. They were upset that he was not producing an heir so they arranged for him to donate his sperm and produce an heir. Bryce is 16 and has only lived with his dad and the others for the past 6 months. He was raised by his grandparents while his father was in the snow tiger settlement. Bryce is constantly at odds with Luhull. Because Luhull is the oldest he would be the heir to his father’s alpha rule. No wolves would be ruled over by a non-alpha better yet a Non wolf. Bryce is in line to inherit his father’s area if the alpha association steps in which they are likely to do. Jacob however has groomed luhull for the position since he adopted him and some see him as a great asset what they have in store for Luhull is yet to be seen. The others have a more complicated position Jacob and Vincent who are hybrids have alpha status but since they are hybrids some on the association consider them as bad as Luhull but others see them as great heirs. Jacob sr. is considered one of the most popular alphas with the regular wolves since Jr. and Vincent were groomed by him for their roles some consider them to be just as good as Bryce. 
Vincent was at a mall waiting for his Friend Janice to come out of the changing room. He was reading a letter from the Alpha association. 
“They fit. Are you still reading that thing?”
“yes. When we get back the alpha association is going to make a decision on whether Bryce and the rest of us should live together and who should live with dad.”
“Vin it’s all politics don’t let it get you down. You know your dad would never let them take you guys. Remember he doesn’t care for Bryce all that much”
“still if he is ordered to take Bryce in and kick the rest of us out … I just don’t know what would happen to us especially Luhull. You know my grandparents think he should have been a slave instead of getting adopted.” Vincent took a breathe and continued “I don’t know Janice Luhull is turning 18 soon and once that happens dad won’t be able to protect him”
“He at least will never lose hit honorary alpha status.”
“well they already failed to take that away. It’s pure politics. Let’s go to the register”
The silver wolf took the bag with the 3 dresses to the counter the price total was 500$ Vincent insisted on paying for them since he dragged her on this trip to begin with. He reached in his pocket and pulled out his Debit card and his ID and handed them to the cashier. The cashier’s face grew very sour
“What kind of trick your pulling here kid. This ID is totally fake!”
“check it”
“I don’t have too. The only alpha around these parts is the one who is in the park right now making a speech.”
“that is my dad you can check the ID”
“NONSENSE NO ALPHA WOULD HAVE A OilBlood kid”
“ I am telling you to check it before you embarrass yourself further”
The cashier got mad and went around the counter and grabbed Vincent by the collar of his shirt.
“YOU ARE NOT EVEN A WOLF YOU ARE A FREAKING HYBRID. A Dirt blooded Hybrid. Don’t come in here acting like you own the place when your place is at the feet of a real wolf!”
“I warned you. Guards!”
Instantly the Cashier was surrounded by 5 wolves dressed in a black suit uniform with a patch that had the crest of the Alpha guards. The cashier dropped Vincent and raised her hands into the air.
“master Vincent what charges do you want to press sir”
“none. Just get her to cash the dresses I am buying for Janice”
“right away sir”
“you mean this hybrid is really an alpha?”
“yes and you just assaulted an alpha be lucky he is very forgiving and patient. Most other alphas would have had you arrested. You should do your job before I really have to arrest you”
“Yes right away”
The cashier swiped the card and gave Vincent the receipt Vincent waved off the guards and left the mall with Janice.
“Do you have to do that every time we go on a trip”
“yes”
“your insane vin but thanks for the dresses but should have let me at least pay for half”
“no way Janice I dragged you out here you are my guest for the trip anything you want is on me”
“but really 500$ isn’t that a bit much”
“I get 100000$ a month I spend 100$. It is really no problem”
“geez you are one spoilt alpha.”
“I Bryce gets 400000$ a month and spends it all. He is the spoilt alpha”
“you don’t seem to get along with him at all”
“none of us do. He has our grandparents attitudes towards us and he makes sure we know it”
“sounds like he is a jerk”
“most alphas are”
“you aren’t. and that is why we are friends”
“Remember what you called me when we first met”
“Stripey”
“Man we were silly back then weren’t we”
“yep but we are still silly now aren’t we”
“we are now come on my dad’s speech should have just started we need to hurry”
“wait! Shouldn’t you be on stage with him”
“Only Bryce is allowed to be on stage with him. It just makes things easier if we are in the crowd”
“Okay”
The pair continued running to the park but by time they got their Jacob’s speech was about to finish. The mayor was standing next to Jacob while Bryce stood just a little behind his father. Vincent looked around and found his other 2 brothers. Jr. was leaned up against a tree taking a nap while some around him were gossiping about him being there.  Luhull was in a tree closer to the stage with just a few person noticing him sitting in the tree. 
Vincent just stood at the back of the crowd. It was moderately small seeing how his dad had made 5 appearances earlier that day and this was thankfully the final one until they could go home. 
Approaching the back of the crowd were 4 wolves dressed in jackets moving suspiciously. Luh and Vincent took notice of them. Jr. was still sleeping. When the speech was over and the crowd was giving Sr. a rounding applause. The wolves made their move. They pulled 4 guns and fired at the stage. LUh managed to get a water shield up in front his father but one bullet managed to get through and hit Sr. in the shoulder. The crowd was thrown into a panic. Luh jumped out of the tree and straight onto the stage. He gathered water around his paw and then charged it with healing magic. He put the water over the wound.
“hang in there dad.”
“ugh!” 
After  a few seconds Jacob seemed to recover from the bullet wound breathing normally and manaing to retain consciousness.
“alright that should do it” Luh said removing his paw from the healed wound
“What would I do if I did not drag you all over the country with me?”
“probably been dead but where are the shooters?”
Everyone turned to see the shooters bound and gagged.
“Already taken care of” Vincent said tightening the rope on the final shooter. “you alright dad?”
“I just got shot. No I am not alright”
“…”
“just kidding your brother knows his magic”
“and I also know my potions which I have administer to make sure there are no side effects from the bullet”
“well we better get home then. Bryce could you call the limo”
“whatever” 
“Vincent could you wake up your brother?”
“on it.” The 2 went on to do what they were told. A few minutes later The limo pulled up to the entrance of the park. The major escorted Sr. and the kids to the limo
“we hope to see you and your son again Jacob”
“son?”
“yes Bryce your son”
“you know I have 4 sons”
“I thought they were merely slaves”
“I won’t hold that against you since that is everyone’s first thought but remember they are all my sons and they are all equally important to me”
“the alpha association must have had a fit when you brought home those kids” the major said while laughing a bit
“they did. And they still aren’t comfortable with it. In 2 days they are going to tell me their decision on what will happen to luhull.”
“I hope they don’t come down too harsh on him”
“They still understand my social standing so I think they will take that into consideration. Well I better not keep my cubs waiting, goodbye mayor”
“Good bye Jacob”
The limo drove off to the airport.
The day of the meeting with the alpha association came and Luhull was very nervous. The primary purpose of the meeting was to address what would happen to him when he turned 18 in the coming months. But they sent out a notice to every member of the family which meant there was more to their visit.
5 members of the association arrived at noon.
“Good day Fangz family”
“Hello Hanley”
“Shall we get down to business?”
“Why put it off any longer”
“After a recent set of decisions from the alpha association we have decided that Luhull fangz will be required to enter the army after graduating high school this year.”
Luhull breathe a sigh of relief they only wanted him in the army. One of the other wolves handed him an envelope which contained a new ID on it was the A symbol marking an Alpha. Luhull was surprised and so was his father
“What the hell is going on? You guys made him a full blown alpha?”
“Yes. The recent blood work you had done on him revealed something that we didn’t test for before. Luhull is an Alpha.”
Everyone was stunned by this revelation except Bryce who was Clearly fuming
“We also had them test Jacob and Vincent. We found while they inherited the wolf Alpha indicator from you they also have the tiger alpha indicator.”
“Wait you mean their mom was a Tiger alpha?”
“by our findings it would appear so. While Other species are generally not liked in positions of authority when they are found to be alphas we make an exception. Alphas of other species are normally put in charge of divisions of the army. Because of Luhull’s ties to you we have decided to place him in the Alpha general command”
“WHAT! He is being placed in the Alpha general command?” Bryce said clearly furious that Luhull an inferior snow tiger was going to be placed on a command that alphas had trouble getting on to.
“Luhull will have to accept the proposition and be trained for a while but seeing as he was trained by you in military tactics and leadership he was unanimously voted to be given the position of alpha general.”
“I… I become an alpha general?”
“Yes you will have to earn your keeps but the alpha association has high hopes for you. We also know of your magic capabilities. Since you are a magic alpha you will be required to lead troops on the front line”
“Make no mistake this will be a difficult job for you but the association has voted and this is what they have decided for you. You will also now have full alpha status.”
“On to the other issues. Vincent and Jacob have also been proposed to join the alpha general command on the same premise as Luhull. Since they are still so young we will not require them to make a full decision now but the alpha association has decided to make provisions for them now.”
“what about the separation I thought you were going to separate me from these hybrids”
“With the new information presented about The Subjects it has been determined that being surrounded by such a diverse group of alphas will be an asset to a future alpha leader. Thus Bryce fangz will remain in the household with The other alphas.”
“Guess you’re stuck with us Brycey”
“Shut it Vincent”
“Our final decision concerns all of you”
“The association voted and Jacob fangz, Vincent fangz, luhull fangz, Bryce fangz and Kitec Fangz will make a 5 man alpha team and participate in the Alpha games this coming summer.”
“What! We have been invited to the alpha games?”
“Yes. With the provision  the tigers wear a magic suppressing device”
“Sounds fair enough but who is Kitec fangz?”
“He is the final issue we came to discuss. The head of the Alpha guard recently died in action. He had no offspring but was the guardian of a non-wolf alpha. Since even non-wolves alphas are deemed of value by the association we have taken custody of him and have determined that Jacob Fangz sr. is the best person to become the guardian of this alpha.”
“Me?! Why me?!”
“you have experience with Alphas that are non-wolves and have a diverse household also we have found history between you and this boy.”
“What history could have I have had with the kid”
“he was previously known as Prince Kitec of the Raccoon empire.”
“*gulp* Prince ketic? Him? He is alive?”
“Yes and looking forward to living with the man who saved his life”
“I… didn’t know he became a slave I thought he was exchanged for prisoners with the raccoons!”
“ He was going to be but his Kingdom was conquered by the Moles and the trade fell through. Shortly after when he was to be sold as a slave a blood test revealed him to be an alpha. As alphas of other species are forbidden to be slaves he was taken in by the Head of the alpha guard. The alpha guard left instructions for you in his will”
One of the wolves handed Sr. a folder containing a letter the head of the alpha guard wrote to him. Sr’s face grew from curious to startled as he read the letter by time he was finished his eyes were wide and his mouth was hanging a bit
“Are you sure this is his will?”
“Yes”
“Then I have one question what is the association doing about this?”
“We have started working with the federal government and local offices to find out more about this Anti-alpha movement and the Species rebellion. Your household will be a prime target for these organizations. We will increase security but we are confident that your offspring can defend themselves well.”
“that they can well all except Bryce. I will start the adoption process tomorrow will I encounter any resistance form the association this time?”
“No we have already issued the order.”
“then I guess I have some papers to prepare”
“that concludes the purpose of our meeting today.”
“wait! What about the heir determination? I thought I would be determined to be the heir to my father’s area?”
“The association was in total agreement about the heir before we found out the status of Luhull. The vote was a dead heat with Luhull getting 35% of the vote Bryce getting 35% Vincent got 25% and Jacob earning 5%. Another vote will occur again in the coming months without Jacob included since he did not earn the 10% required to stay on the ballot. We will tell you the result of the vote when it occurs but for now no definite heir has been determined”
“YOU have to be kidding me Grandfather will not be pleased”
“master Livingston has already expressed his distaste with the results of the vote but has said he will live with any decision the association makes. That includes the chance that Bryce will not be the heir.”
“I can’t believe this! Even Vincent managed to get a good bit of the voting alphas to vote for him.”
“The voters have seen Luhull’s record in mock military Battles. His impressive 59-1 record mirrors his father. His social standing is also quite high among certain circles. Vincent is at least half wolf and more favorable for some than Luhull and his record is also quite impressive. 13-0 in mock military battles. He is young but many see him as having the highest potential among the suitable heirs. Jacob’s record is also good at 35-2 but he not known by many. He may still get back onto the ballot next time if the association decides on an executive vote over a Group vote. Bryce your record is not as good as the others but you are the only full blood wolf alpha in the list of heirs. A 24-17 record is far from impressive and more persons are considering your capability to lead. Your military talent may not be used if you become a leader and do not enter the military but showing you can lead in the military is a quality the association looks for in area leaders. That is the status of the vote. We shall take our leave now. We shall be back to deliver Kilec. Good day fangz.”
The 5 wolves left leaving a stunned Vincent who was happy he may have a shot at being the heir. Luhull was nervous about being an alpha general in the army but he was also happy he was now the favorite to take over his dad’s area. Bryce was clearly furious as he walked off. He was so mad he expected a totally unanimous decision awarding him the heir of his dad’s area but there was a tie and a full re-vote was going to happen. If Jacob was removed from the ballot he would probably lose to luhull or at the very worse Vincent would get enough votes to catch him and luhull. Jacob couldn’t care less about what the association decided he already knew he was going to join the army when he got older. He never expected that they would be getting a new sibling but he looked forward to meeting him. Sr however was showing quite a mixed expression. He was happy that luhull who he wanted to be his heir had a good chance to get it by the vote but he was concerned luhull was going to be forced into the army. He was glad he prepared them for leadership positions but still never guess that lallah was an alpha. He also was thinking of his parents. They weren’t going to remain quiet about the vote and were probably going to try and influence the voting alphas. He knew Bryce was not going to be very pleasant to be around for the next few days. He was most worried about Kilec the alpha raccoon he was forced to take in. he would have taken him in any way since he knew him personally but he never expected that the head of the alpha guard was killed trying to protect Kilec. Somehow rogue magic using furs had managed to get into the country. All magic species were normally required to wear magic suppressing collars but these seemed to have removed theirs or came over without them. If Kilec was their target he was the best person for the job. 
Little known outside the highest echelon of the Alpha association was that Jacob had a secret talent that few wolves in history had. His sons except Bryce also knew his secret but obviously the head alpha guard had somehow found out. Sr. just sighed and returned to his study. He now would have to reveal his secret to Bryce and find out if Bryce had his talent as well. He reached his study and entered. He forgot to close but the just waved his paw and closed the door telepathically.
“Of the 3 billion wolves in the world How many would do what I did do earn the ability to get my ability to use magic?”
“All of them” said a voice from nowhere
“You have awakened?”
“yes and with the amount of magic in the household I can soon have a body”
“will you collect on our contract then?”
“Yes I will.”
“Do you have to claim the boys am I not enough?”
“You are plenty but my appetite is great. Luhull and this new boy may not be related to you by blood but after the amount of time luhull has spent around you I have access to him. The new boy will be safe for a while.”
“the more I think about the contract I made with you is going to hurt my boys more than me”
“You cannot turn back now not after what we agreed on 20 years ago”
“I Should have chosen death over serving you! But I was young and naïve back then”
“Not totally naïve. Just careless. You found the reason why the wolves became one of the few non magic species. That required lots of knowledge and ability”
“Not hard to figure it out when you look at the how much magic each species can use.”
“The magic order dropped the wolves after they refused their offering. Now that you have taken on the tradition again they may have access to it again.”
“100 years of offering to the magic essence of the species will grant the species eternal magic. The wolves revolted against your offerings after 80 years.”
“You have 10 more years to serve me and your family is fair game. Once those 10 years pass I will have access to every wolf. I can take any of one of them to fill my appetite. They won’t even resist me”
“you are a sick monster. After 20 years you have been fed enough magic to materialize finally. How long before you have a body?”
“2 weeks. Then I will take my offerings. Be glad my appetite is not filled by worship or blood like a few other essences”
“it is filled by lust and sex”
“Yes but females are not my fancy. I prefer men and boys.”
“And I gave you 4 of them on a silver platter”
“And they have great form and they are all untouched”
“I would have hoped their first time would not be with you”
“I shall be sure to make it enjoyable for them.”
“If you are trying to make me feel more comfortable with this arrangement don’t”
“whether you are comfortable or not you shall meet my payment requirements once I gain a body for now I require a show to satisfy me.”
“You want the show with toys or not”
“I think a solo performance will suit me for now. I hope you have no reservations about a performance including the boys soon. I will require it once I gain a body.”
“even if I did would it matter?”
“not in the slightest”
“Let’s get this over with” Jacob said as he stripped naked and began to stroke his sheathe. The payment for his magic and what would soon be the magic of all wolves was to submit the species to serving a magic essence that fed off the sexual activity of men. Jacob was required to give him a show whenever he awoke but this was the first time he spoke outside of Jacob’s mind. He knew the essence was getting closer to having a form and that his relationship with his sons would be in jeopardy when they found out their destiny.
His family was going to go through a very hard time. The anti-alpha movement was a set of wolves determined to destroy all alphas and they seemed to be gaining support. Jacob would be at the top of their list for bearing 2 hybrid offspring. The species rebellion was after Kilec and Luhull. They were going to recruit them to help them destroy the wolf society. The magic essence he made a contract with 20 years ago was about to awaken fully and he and his boys would be required to satisfy his sexual appetite.
