It was a clear piece of plastic with a strap around it that had a beefy hunk of plastic on the back where the components were held.\n\nRex grabbed it from the sofa, and he handed it to his son. \"Go ahead, I've had it all day.\"\n\n\"Shouldn't this be hooked to a PC or something?\" He asked as he looked down at the headset with a frown.\n\n\"Nope, it uses cloud computing. It just runs off the wifi, you just have to put it on and it'll start.\"\n\n\"What about controllers though?\" He asked.\n\n\"Oh it works like one of those old kinects,\" his dad gestured at the TV where a small video camera looking device laid. \"My buddy said they wanted it to be as plug and play as possible.\"\n\n\"Alright,\" Buster said with a shrug and slipped the band over his head. The screen lit up, and there was an animated pixel art icon of a gray wolf's head in a weird hat that winked at him. The words \"Preston Uptown Products\" flashed across the screen, and then the screen began to swirl with color. The dog furrowed his brow as he stared at the swirling colors, and he turned to look at his father, but he couldn't see him. The colors felt like they'd taken over his world. He gasped, and he felt a chill run down his spine.\n\n\"Dad this feels weird...\" Buster said. He wanted to reach up and take it off, but his arms felt heavy. He felt so tired all of a sudden.\n\n\"That means it's working,\" a voice said next to his ear. He carefully guided his son to the couch and helped him sit down. The older dog sat down next to him, and the old couch creaked under his weight.\n\n\"What's going on,\" the younger dog asked with a whimper.\n\n\"Nothing's wrong, sweety,\" the older doberman said as he hugged his son tightly. He nuzzled at his son's ear and whisper, \"you've just been a very naughty boy, and daddy found a way to fix you.\"\n\n\"Naughty?\" The teenager whimpered. \"Dad that sounds like something you'd say to a puppy, I'm a... I'm a...\" The dog's mind blanked. He blinked.\n\n\"You are a puppy though, my Silly Puppy, remember?\" The older dog said as he kept holding his son.
