"description": "A very nice commission from Spotted Chai (formerly known as Tsuhara) showing Kyle helping deliver the baby of his midwife colleague Carla. Despite being a midwife herself, she is not quite taking the whole 'bear down and push!' thing without painkillers well. Kyle's smiling demeanor isn't helping, and her husband doing a costume dummy impression in the corner tops the crap-cake.\n\n-- Start Story Snippet --\n\n\"OWW FUCK! OW OW OW OW OWWWW!\" Carla panted, bearing down as she gripped the bed. Her husband stood there, just outside arm's reach, watching the proceedings with a slight look of illness and a whole helping of fear. This was NOT a side of his wife he had expected to see, and she was not one to be timid about things she disliked - this 'natural childbirth' thing was no exception.\n\nKyle smiled, holding a warm compress against her largely distended vulva as it bulged again with her bearing down effort. The skin was a healthy reddish maroon, which meant things had not gotten so stretched that a tear was imminent, though he very carefully applied appropriate pressure to help her baby present only the top part of its head, a maneuver called 'flexing'. This baby definitely didn't have the room to just pop out, and given the nearly three hours of pushing - it had no intention of making this entrance easy for Carla either. What started out as being a doula for her labor with her OB/GYN had turned into a birthing grudge-match with pushing on the bed, on her side, standing on the floor, gripped onto the hanging rope swing, draped over the yoga ball, and now on her knees on the bed - her finger nails puncturing into the mattress after her husband had retreated to the safety of the corner. Her OB/GYN called it quits when he recommended a C-Section after hour #2 and Carla told him to officially 'kiss her ass' in no uncertain terms.\n\nCarla moaned, letting a few contractions steam-roll over her before she put another good effort into pushing her baby into the world, through that seemingly impossibly small opening down there.
